I took my vehicle there 1 year ago to have my horn fixed. They replaced the steering column associated with the horn. I think they called it a cloc spring. I went back 5 times within the year for them to fix it right. I gave them a bad review. They kept blaming it on defective parts. Also one of the front desk workers recognized my name from the review and harassed me about it. What the heck‽ They charged me 1100.00 and the item lasted 1yr.Moving forward, I will only trust an actual dealership to work on my vehicles. I had to get the same repair done again. I used a dealership and only paid 800.00.Go figure.

Called at lunch to see if they could get me in for oil change after work at 5:30, no problem was my answer. They got my car in right away and 20 minutes or so later I was on my way home. They didnt try to upsale me either. This was my 2nd oil change with them and I will be back for my 3rd. Very nice people. Comfortable waiting room with a TV. So glad I found them.

We ordered a rear sub frame for my Murana on September 1st... Simba Auto has takin our money but will NOT return our phone calls, they havent responded to our email asking a tracking number. This is HORRIBLE customer service. We are cancelling our payment and definitely advising peolle to not go through this company.

Went to Simba today based on their reviews. I love local family owned businesses. Reasonable prices and they are not pushy about anything like other places that try to get you to fix everything that probably doesn’t need to be fixed. Its hard to find a good mechanic and forget dealerships that charge crazy prices. Will be taking my vehicles here from now on. Thank you

I had a whole laundry list of things my car needed. I really expected to have to pick and choose what I could afford to have done. They worked with me and I was able to get everything done for a fair price and fast too. On one issue that was expected to cost hundred was only a few leaves stuck in the blower- charge $0. They could have just cleaned out the leaves or replaced the part but saved me money instead. Love having a local, honest garage in the neighborhood.

Came in 12/16/2019 to have an alignment done on a 2003 Ford Expedition. I had recently replaced the inner and outer tie rods myself and was needing an alignment badly. I was not able to drop the car off and leave so I had to wait a few hours as they were pretty busy(on a Monday of all days) but thankfully the waiting room has comfortable seating, so waiting was not a problem. It took them a little under an hour to align my car once they could get to it and now it drives great. The best part of the whole thing is they are inexpensive, and did not try to up-sale me on a bunch of parts or fluids I did not need for my vehicle. Would highly recommend anyone to come here if they need automotive work.

I have owned cars for 36 years, and had a lot of work done on all of them, by dealers, and independent service shops, most of the work was fine, but often not so good, and sometimes the work left me feeling abused. Then I got a recommendation for Simba Automotive, and I found the Auto Shop that meets, and exceeds my expectations. The Service Manager is very knowledgeable about any cars they work on, and they know how to talk to their Customers, to help them understand what work is needed, and I never felt like they where trying to up-sale me. Great place. I knew what was wrong with my vehicle when I took it there, but didnt tell them. They diagnosed it accurately and was able to explain everything they will be doing. The cost was with in reason as other mechanic shop. They fix my vehicle the very next day as promised. The owner Minard and the mechanic were very professional. We will be return customers. Oh and it was your normal dirty mechanic shop. I was comfortable waiting.

Honest, Fair, and Quick! Took my 2017 F250 diesel in on Monday . They did such a great job I left them my wifes Expedition . Both Finished by Tuesday evening .

Simba is now under new management. I have found both current and past owners to be efficient in their service and reasonable in their price. They almost always have small promotions going on for oil change and annual inspections. No up-selling, just honest assessment no pressure business. Definitely AAA rating in my books.

OK, we took my wifes car to Firestone for a new tire after one of hers had a leak in it. Their mechanic noticed a oil leak coming from what he said, the oil pan gasket. They wanted to know if we wanted the gasket replaced....What the hell, were here and it wasnt going to take long,so they did the work. I have noticed some small oil spots on the driveway so I didnt fight it much but after the gasket was replaced the spots were becoming small puddles! We called Firestone and they said, so what do you want us to do about it? We told them to fix it! They said if it was their fault they would fix it. After taking it back they said the leak was coming from the cam cover gasket and around the cam seal. (looking at $700 to fix). They were told that were on the way to pick it up and take it to a real mechanic!This is where Simba comes in, We had recently had work there for the A.C. (which is working fine now) and these guys APOLOGIZED for missing the oil leak. They did the work from the top and didnt put the car on the lift so they were unaware of the leak. Robert and another mechanic explained the entire process of cleaning the engine compartment to track down the leak. After several hours Robert calls back and stated that he found it! It wasnt any type of gasket but a hose going to the turbo. They replaced the hose and showed me the part that was replaced, cleaned up the engine compartment the best he could and explained that some residual oil may still be falling trapped on the splash shields underneath so give it a couple of weeks and if there is still oil on the ground, bring it in. These guys went the extra mile in customer service and in workmanship to get the job done!

Ill give them 2 stars because they actually did the job I asked them too. But how is it that these dudes took 4 hours to change a spark plug? They drove my vehicle off premises twice. I went outside to look twice and both times the guys werent working they were just standing around. The guy at the front desk told me 20 minutes. Somehow it turned into 4 hours. Im very frustrated with the slow service. There is ABSOLUTELY no circumstances where changing a spark plug it takes that long. Thank God Google says there is 20 other mechanics close to me. Ill have plenty of others to choose from next time.

Very disappointed! We took our car here for alignment. After picking up the car, we saw that front two tires were bald. Our good, matched tires had been switched out for these bald tires--on our same rims. We confronted store owner; they acknowledged doing our alignment but denied replacing our good tires with the bad ones. We are stuck and will have to replace the tires.

Unfortunately, I cannot give less than one star. They supposedly replaced a part for me in August, which immediately stopped working again. I was charged almost $2,500 for it. It took 5 days to complete the job, during which time I had to Uber to work. I took it back to have the part checked, and this time they promised one day to get it finished, and it still took over two days to get it finished. Now I have to wait and see if this part works.

I am an engineer by profession. I like to know how things work. I have worked on my vehicles in the past, but I decided to use professional mechanics going forward. I have been using Simba for the past 3 years and have been totally satisfied. I have 3 vehicles and they have done large and small repairs for me. Their troubleshooting has been right on, even with a rather difficult to analyze problem. They always explain the problem to my satisfaction. Their prices usually beat the competition. The owner, Mana, and all of the staff with whom I have had interactions are very professional.

These guys quickly diagnosed the problem with my suspension and demonstrated what it looks like when you have bad control arms (it looks freaky). Prices seem fair and they worked hard to get my job done as I was initially waiting and walking around to surrounding businesses on foot. Straightforward, no nonsense, my kind of place.

I was referred here from another shop in clear lake area to get work done on my F-250. they did an awesome job i was told by another shop that i needed my turbo to be replaced and the cost was gonna be $2500. thanks to simba automotive and manar the owner who did find the real issue and replace only the turbo sensor waste gate sensor and fixed my issue for only $300.

Brought my 2006 Toyota Corolla S last January to Simba Auto for a CV axle boot leak passenger side after Drivers Auto Pearland misdiagnosed and said that the leak was on the drivers side which cost more to repair than the passengers side. It seems hard to trust car shops these days. They will intentionally misdiagnose to rip you off. I do simple checks and DIYs from easy to moderate maintenance and repairs on my cars and I verified that the leak was on the passengers and not the drivers side. Dealerships diagnose their cars right but charges way more than any other shops. Simba Auto fixed it for a reasonable cost. Last June, same car, at home in my garage, engine wont start. I though it was the battery and saw that there was a cable disconnected to the battery because the connector was worn off. Went to all auto parts around town and they dont have it and told me to go the dealership. Went to Simba and Manar gave me the part for free. That was a very kind gesture. Thank you Manar! I replaced it but that did not fix the problem. I had the car towed and brought to Simba and they replaced the blushing that broke from normal wear and tear. Last July, same car has been troubling with engine light on. Did some minor fix like changing the gas cap, cleaning the MAF sensor and disconnecting the battery but still. Bought an OBD 2 Scanner and came back with P0171 Sytem Too Lean (Bank 1). Had the O2 sensor replaced by a different mechanic (because its cheaper, lol!) but still after few days engine light comes back on. Decided not to go back to that mechanic. Brought the car to Simba and detected no leak from the engine or intake manifold but found out that the engine dipstick tube was broken and might be the cause. They replaced it and was told to wait for few days. Had to erase the code one time at home and engine light never appeared again. I brought the car few days after for state inspection done by Manar as instructed and it passed. Also brought my other car after for state inspection. Both were done on the same day. Since then, I trust them for any of my car needs, both repair and maintenance. Service cost is reasonable and fair and they do things in a timely manner. Owner and staff are polite, courteous and easy to talk to. I will not hesitate to refer family and friends to this shop. To Manar, Robert and the rest of the staff at Simba, keep it up!

I called around for a repair and this place quoted me a far cheaper rate than their competitors as well as the dealership. I went in and met Manar, the owner. Hes a young man and I immediately felt as though he was not trying to nickel and dime me like most shops. He was fair and did not try to upsell me on other things. My vehicle was in and out in a short amount of time and runs smooth as can be. They also have a very comfortable waiting area if you want to wait for your car. Trust me guys, you will be in good hands here. I take all my vehicles here now!
