I just bought a vehicle at the auto factory and I was very pleased with the buying process it was very smooth and easy. I was also very pleased with the man I worked with Jay was not the type that try’s to get you into cars and pushes you to buy he was very laid back letting me do my own thing and find the vehicle i liked best I came back to this dealership about 4-5 times before buying a vehicle from this dealership and I will definitely be sending people there way if there looking for a vehicle they were awesome people to work with during my buying process.

My wife called and asked about a certain truck to see if it was still available, he said it was and we can go look it at. After driving an hour and a half, we saw the same salesman and he said, we sold that last week. They did have some nice trucks but dont tell me what I want to here just to make me waste my time.

I took my truck there for service knowing it needed a lot of work. I found they were extremely thorough and went through the whole entire truck I also was very comfortable knowing they were selling me exactly what needed to be replaced and nothing that I didn’t. I’m not a mechanic but I feel like the amount of work they did was incredibly fast. I had brought my truck to two previous mechanics who wanted to replace things that were working fine auto factory gave me the right things that needed to be replaced. Bought a car here a year ago. Running like a champ with no issues. Modern dealership with a fairly straight forward process. Would not negotiate on the price of the car which was odd. Also tv screens were constantly showing videos of people dancing. Must be some reason to it. Small touches like cell phone chargers are a nice touch.

I just want to give a big thanks to Rafael! For getting me into the vehicle that I actually wanted for a great price. I had issues at a previous dealership trying to purchase the same car but an older model and Rafael got me an appointment right away. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My boyfriend recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Jay, our salesman, told us the day my boyfriend signed and purchased the car that he would be able to take it off the lot within the next two days. Two days go by and Jay said that one of their mechanics was out so they were backed up in their service department and they wouldn’t be able to detail the car. He then pushed the date back to Friday. Guess what, friday comes and the vehicle is still NOT ready. He calls back Friday and says that the car is finished being detailed but the title isn’t in and takes about 10 days to get there by mail. He then gives another date. That date goes by. No word on the car. It has now been 13 days PAST the time they said it would take for this car to be ready to be taken off the lot. Every person we have contacted about the vehicle has been completely unapologetic. They claim to be “stress free buying”, well what is this then? And they won’t take any responsibility. I understand the title takes time but your salesman has pushed this back SIX times. SIX. And he also told us the title takes UP TO 10 days and it’s been two weeks now. I must emphasize DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE.

STAY AWAY!! Bait and switch situation. I checked (with Rafael) about availability of a specific vehicle they have advertised on their web site. Was told they still have it. Showed up at the location and told it had been sold a month ago. Then they tried to sell us other vehicles. Complete lie and they likely never even had the vehicle. Low ball price on web site. Service and atmosphere seem great here. Would go back again, but I would work with a different sales person. The sales person we had was a little new, I will give him that, but when addressing a curb rash on the rim of our trade in he looks at my boyfriend, pointing at me, and says Did she do that? Rude. Wont use names because he was new, but Im a young sales person myself and even I know not to make sexist or insensitive jokes! That kind of ruined the overall experience for me.

I purchased a truck there a few months ago. I have had nothing but problems since I bought it. It needed new tires( they had to put those on). Then my TPMS censors stopped working. I’m not happy with the truck and have been trying to trade it in and now I find out it had an airbag deployed on it before I bought it. So the truck is basically worth nothing. I remember asking Bill(the sales man) for the carefax and he never brought it to me. I never asked for it again. I brought my kids with me because I had no child care at the time. They where going crazy and I forgot to ask for it a second time. Please make sure you are very careful when purchasing a car from them.

After two days of talking and agreeing on a time to come see the truck I was interested in they sold the truck the night before and didnt have the decency to tell me that I shouldnt take the hour and forty five minute drive to come look at it. Poor communication and they wouldnt own up the their mistake. I can only imagine what things go on behind the scenes if this is acceptable to a business to screw people over. (Edit) this method of luring someone in and telling them the deal is gone and then trying to sell you a vehicle that costs more is often referred to as bait and switch and is a major red flag for someone trying to purchase a vehicle.

Been talking and working with them for a week go to stop by and check out a car not only is the one I originally inquired about gone and was not informed the second one has a tire sensor broken, car itself is screaming for a service and oil change owner tells me its fine no big deal (which it can be corrected easily) then when I ask if they need more info and how we can go about to see if I am approved they ask if i have money down I say yes 2-3k there eyes light up and they inform me they will not run credit without the down-payment in their hand idk what world they are from but dont fall fo it that is a scan and a half if iv seen ONE BEWARE shady buisness and apparently after reading the reviews they steal ur money for a week to pay their bills!

I made the mistake of visiting AutoFactory in Peabody MA on 3/7/21 to see about purchasing a Chevy Silverado. The pictures online were deceiving to begin with. The truck had minor damage across which was not reported. The caps on the rims of the truck just pulled off, one was missing which was of course the one they didn’t include in the picture. However I took it for a test drive and wanted to think about the purchase. Im 19 and have never bought a car before and didn’t know the process, they clearly took advantage of that. They had me put the $2,000 down before I even did a credit application. They told me they do not detail the cars when they get them but after they have been sold. The truck needed a new tail light and new tires and new brakes. They said they “would fix them” if I decided to buy the truck. However that did not feel right to me, I did not want to purchase a truck without knowing what the final outcome would look like. When I put the $2,000 down the dealer told me he would call me tomorrow with the information and if I said I did not want it anymore it would be quick and painless to back out and he would wire my money back into my account right away. The next morning I called and backed out and the dealer said ok I will send your money back right away. Two days went by and my money still was not there. I called back, he said that it was an issue with MY bank and this usually works with 99% of banks. No apology whatsoever. He told me I actually need to come back to put my card in the machine to get my money back. This is irritating because I live an hour away. I called my bank and they informed me there was no history of them trying to refund my money at all and that they should have 0 problem getting my money back to me. I called AutoFactory and asked to speak to a manager and the manager was unapologetic and clearly as brainless as the dealer himself and told me that they NEVER can put money straight back into the account and the person always has to come back down. Realizing the dealer had completely lied through his teeth to me I was extremely aggravated. I went back down to MA to put my card in and they told me most of the time it is instant and sometimes it can take 1-2 days. Knowing they are liars I know it will not be instant and they will hold my money as long as they can. It has been a day and a half and still it is not in my account. I expect to have to call again. They have had $2,000 of mine for a week now. I will never recommend anyone to ever visit this dealership, even if the perfect car is there. It is not worth it, they are a bunch of scammers and crooks.

I knew what I wanted, and knew what I wanted to spend. The Wrangler was on the lot, and Brian helped me out tremendously, even putting up with my kid on Christmas Eve excitement to get it. Purchase was insanely easy compared to the hours and haggling that I am used to when purchasing a vehicle. After everything was said and signed, they took the Jeep in for a detailing, oil change, and further inspection. I even got new brakes, as well as a legit spare and sweet American Flag plate to cover where the previous owner removed the rear-mounted tire. Good people, clean store. Been talking to this dealership since Tuesday. I wanted the Audi they had. They told me to call the next day. Which I did. Sales man goes and tells me that its going out for a Recall. I believed and waited until Friday. Called in to see what the status of the car was in and they said they would look into it and call me back. They never did. My wife calls in today to see whats going on and they say that they have sold it and delivered the car under me. I get it that I offered a lower price from online but I agreed to pay the online price. I thought it was a good dealership but to lie to a customer and not be upfront is really bad business, coming from someone that does the same exact job. You should just tell someone that its sold and not waste the time of someone who is looking to do business with you!

James was a great salesman and worked with me. The vehicles price is what it is, and i liked that. They took care of all the paperwork and I barely had to do anything. Took a while to get the truck because it had 2 recalls on it and they had to send it to ford for a week. Id strongly recommend they get all recalls done before they put the car up for sale as its frustrating to have to wait a week for your new truck! but other than that it was a pleasant experience.

Shout to my man Brian! Called him one evening inquiring about a car. I specifically asked if I could test drive said vehicle if I came around 6:30PM (half an hour before their closing time). He replied .... I INSIST! We get there expecting to be able to drive the car but he didnt let us. He said, Not to be mean, have 6 appointments for this car tomorrow. I told him, So basically saying, only test drive if you are going to buy it, right?. Brian replies, not to be mean but yes!So why waste my time by not telling me this on the phone? Additionally, he quoted me $10,000 to trade in our 27 month lease. Our total payments left on the lease is $9450. How can you ask for more money than the total remaining payments on the lease?

After my terrible experience or being lied to on the phone multiple times by sales reps and told that the car was there when it was sold almost 2 days ago, I wasted an entire day driving from Boston to Peabody to be told both cars had been sold, after I explicitly had asked them if the car was available. Please dont waste your time and energy going to this place, better off paying more money for a car closer to home.

I have to say that it was a great car buying experience! Everyone we met and talked to (Zach, Brian, Robin and Nick) were all very down to earth and pleasant. Everything was transparent from the beginning and Nick worked to make me happy with my deal. I appreciate the experience because car buying has been a dreadful experience in the past. Buyer beware!Today I had the unpleasant experience of going to Auto Factory looking for a car.I called to schedule a same day test drive. I was told the car I wanted was available and that I could come test drive in approximately an hour (I live an hour away, with traffic). Once I arrived, I was told the vehicle was not there ... that it had been recalled and the mechanics took it off the lot. Mind you, I had confirmed it was ready and available approximately an hour and a half earlier.I wasted time, gas and energy.If I could leave them zero stars I would.Dont make the same mistake I did. Go to a different dealer.UPDATE: The dealer responded below saying someone had just purchased the vehicle. That is a blatant lie. At the time this actually occurred, I was told the car had a recall and mechanics took it off the lot. So, which one is it?This is a perfect example of this dealerships deceptive practices.Ill say it again: Buyer Beware!UPDATE 2: The dealership updated its response below. The original response claiming the car was sold, now has been deleted. This response is also much friendlier.Im not a bot, just a person who had a bad experience. You can take from this what you want ... or read the tons of 5 Star reviews. Your choice.... ;)

Dropping my rating down to a three after getting my car inspected and being told the brakes only had about 10% life left in them (apparently unusual for the low mileage the car has) and would need to be replaced soon. I specifically asked about brakes during my test drive and was told they would be taken care of during detailing and car prep if they needed it. That didnt happen.Auto Factory did say that I could bring the car in and they would take a look but I live 2 hours away, so making a 4-hour roundtrip for a brake job that should have been done before I took the car is pretty ridiculous. They could at least reimburse me to have the brakes done locally.Up until that, I was very happy with the experience. I worked with Bill to purchase a used Honda Accord, and the car looks great and runs well so far.Ive been shopping and watching prices for about 3 months and had driven the exact model, so I knew where prices should be for this car in good condition. Auto Factory had one of the lowest list prices among cars with similar mileage, which means they dont really haggle on it. But since its a good price in fair-market range, thats not a bad thing. It means youre starting off with low pricing instead of playing the let me check with the manager price games. They also handle registration right on-site, which is convenient.Started off very positive and Im still happy with the car, but have a sour taste over the brake situation.

Donald was amazing! Very professional and always responsive to our questions. I just bought a pre owned car from auto factory and I am so happy with it! The buying process was simple with no games or tricks! They will help you finance and register the car with no problems. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience. Great vehicles, had just the truck I was looking for. Great group of people at Auto Factory. Bill provided an unparallelled service to my family and I throughout the sales process (which really is quick and easy). They went above and beyond to ensure the truck was ready and looking sharp including replacement of a missing spare key and remote! I will be recommending others should anyone be looking for a quality vehicle and buying experience.

Best car buying experience I have ever had! Their prices are unbeatable and the quality of the cars are exceptional.
