So long story short, I had an appointment with a different stylist for Senegalese twists but she was unable to do them at the last minute. I asked her for a referral however and she connected me to Tecumsah. Tecumsah asked me what I needed, moved some things around and got me in to do my twists the same day. She was knowledgeable, professional, kind and funny. She listened to and delivered on my requests and offered lovely refreshments. Her prices are reasonable and her location in Pasadena is great if you’ve been looking for a black hair care professional in the valley. I highly, highly, highly recommend her. Also, my twists came out beautifully if you’re wondering!

Just finished up a mani pedi at HairsMyStory and had a great experience! She took her time and did a wonderful job. I was previously cut at my former salon and she explained and educated me of why my cuticles were growing back so terribly. She fixed me right up. I highly recommend supporting this business.
