Dr. Tavakoli and Hilda are a very efficient team and their customer service skills are outstanding. I have never had a bad appointment or even a painful one with Dr. Tavakoli.
Dr. Sullivan is a great dentist. The associate dentists are too green. The selling point was the explanation of coordination with other offices but that did not happen. The office staff is rude and no one seems to understand their billing system.
Larissa my hygienist was excellent. Very technically skilled and knowledgeable.
I booked an appointment two weeks ago and came in today and told there is no appointment for me. I even had email confirmation. Clearly my time has no value. Why make people book an appointment if you cannot honor that. And what’s the point of email confirmation? Why is it not in your system if you can generate a confirmation email to me from your system? Instead of offering an apology, the office staff asked if I filled out the on line patient form. I did and it’s a waste of time. What’s the point of filling out the forms if there’s no appointment. This place is unprofessional. If you cannot get your appointment booking straight, I can only imagine the practice standard. People, I have a job too. Now you waste my time and chance to make an appointment with other dental practice before the new year. I should have read other reviews. I am glad my experience with them stopped right there. Could have been a lot worse if you read other reviews.
I have been going to Fusion Dental for years. I really trust the whole staff, and especially recommend. Dr. Sullivan. They have treated me very well and done excellent work, including complicated procedures and routine cleanings.
Poor service.The review is not for the doctor but for the front-desk team which schedules the appointment. I had called their front-desk team on 09/23 and scheduled an appointment for my annual dental check-up on 09/26.Firstly, I had hard time explaining and going through my insurance details. I have provided all the details, still the billing department took long to reach out to me and confirm that my insurance covers all the expenses.Secondly, only a day prior to my appointment, I was informed that my appointment covers only check-up and not cleaning. For cleaning, I need to come again either on a different date or will need to book a new appointment.Please improve your service. Like most others, I am a working professional. It is not convenient for us to reschedule appointments at such short notice. Please explicitly mention what will be covered during medical checkups and/or any other appointments which you schedule with your patients. Its a very basic thing which the front-desk team must now.
They gave me appointment for 2pm and when I called the office 30min prior my appointment the phone line says “ closed today” I didn’t want to drive all the way and find out they are closed so I didn’t go. At 2:17 I got a call from them and they told me “ we ware at lunch” this is the most unprofessional thing ever. How are you going to make appointment and go to lunch? Why are you making appointment during your lunch hours? I left work early and canceled other appointment so I can make it on time. I am very mad. I don’t recommend this place.
We love this dental practice! Caring, courteous and convenient. My family has been coming here for years, for a wide array of services. Weve always gotten excellent quality of care. The staff are very nice and helpful. Dr. Sullivan really cares about her patients.
Fusion dental is the worst dentist to deal with. I don’t even know where to begin!!!! I called to schedule an appointment earlier in March and gave them the insurance information on the phone which was accepted. Three weeks later we went to the appointment and I gave them the insurance card which they scanned and told me everything was good... The kids were seen and we went home. Five months later I got a call from Fusion Dental telling me that they DO NOT accept and they DO NOT work with the insurance I provided them five months earlier. Understand that it is not that the insurance refused to pay... no, they don’t accept not work with that insurance at all and so therefore I was then told to pay the ENTIRE amount for that visit. It was not my job to determine what insurance they do or do not accept... it was their job. You you would think that their employees are trained on knowing what insurance they work with and don’t work with.To make matters worse I called and spoke to a supervisor of Fusion dental who accepted that it was their fault and proposed that we split the bill somehow... A proposal that I reluctantly accepted and was told told I would get a call to let me know how much the split was, but that never happened... upon checking my credit score I found out fusion dental was claiming that I owe them the entire amount. I will not only dispute this with my everyday last breath but I will also make sure I inform everyone else dealing with this fraudulent dental office to know them fro who they really are. Now I have to waste time and money to deal with getting a lawyer and credit dispute. What a shame!!!!!!
I have been cared for by Dr. Goldman for nearly twenty years and the reason I have remained a patient of the Doc (despite the one hour travel time to his office!) is that he is a kind and intelligent man who actually listens to you, and who is a superb dentist! His procedures are highly effective and virtually pain free, and his craftsmanship in restorative work is excellent. Importantly, Dr. Goldman is extremely patient and his calming demeanor is very soothing in resolving my dental anxiety. Its a shame that more medical professionals arent like the Doc!
Everything is fine EXCEPT the service! They are always so rude to me on the phone and leave me with questions unanswered. Makes me feel unwelcome.. thinking of switching.
Everyone was wonderfully kind and friendly. The cleaning I received from my hygienist Rosanna and the checkup I received from Dr. Sullivan are the most thorough Ive ever received. Ive never checked to make sure my hygienist was available when making a dentist appointment before, but I do now. I think Ill actually go back every six months! They even have a brushing station if you forgot to brush before coming. Brilliant!
Dr. Sullivan is very attentive, to the point and light handed. And Sukhritee, the new hygienist, is just adorable and made my last visit a breeze. I am very anxious about any dental visit, and am very happy I found a practice that can accommodate nervous patients, like me:) been going there for years already and very grateful.

The staff at Fusion Dental are great ~ Dr. Mistry and hygienist Chen ~ are polite and professional. They make regular dental exams fast, friendly, and fun. I highly recommend this team !

Dental services are amazing, with careful attention to the patients’ needs. However, their accounting is horrendous. I would pay the bill that I received in the mail from them, and then a month later, they would send me a reimbursement check for most, if not all, of what I paid. This happened over the course of 4 years while I was a patient there. This last time, I paid for an April 2018 visit, they deposited the check but deposited $0.60 less than what I wrote on it. They send me a bill for $0.60, I send another check for $0.60, which they deposited on 7/16. Today, on 7/26, I receive a delinquent letter dated 7/18, two days after they deposited the $0.60 check. Someone needs to fire the person(s) in accounting because they’re not doing their job. After 4 years, I’m done writing checks, paying for postage, headaches and moving onto another local dentist.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The hygienist was pleasant and thorough. Dr. Sullivan is thorough and conservative in her approach. In addition, the office runs on time which I appreciate.
Everyone in the office makes me feel comfortable when I come in and that is so important when going to the dentist. Dr. Sullivan is the Best, along with her assistant who make my visit as quick and painfree as possible. Great, Great office and experience every time I go!

On April 2, 2019 I had an appointment with Fusion Dental-Bethesda and Dr. Christine Sullivan to get my wisdom teeth extracted. The issue that I am having (not only with them, but with my dental insurance) is the lack of consistency with my bill. I was charged $754 after the visit due to my insurance stating that Fusion Dental needs to file claim through my medical insurance. The issue is that Fusion Dental said they have sent out the claim as of 7/16/19 and my medical insurance stated that they would have received it by now being that its 8/29/19. Also Fusion Dental has sent me 4 statements advising me to pay my balance knowing that my hands are tied as a member I cannot send off the claims. Before it was stated that they sent the claims to my medical insurance, Fusion Dental told me that I would have to file the claim myself and sent me a referral, clinical notes and pano via email from Shawnte Baker, Patient Scheduling Manager. After I tried to send it myself, my medical insurance told me that I am not suppose to send it, and that Fusion Dental would have to. I spoke to Shawnte Baker who admitted that this is something that she has not done before, and asked me to send her my medical card (which I have via email) so she can send the claims off. The address on my medical card for claims is the same address confirmed by my medical insurance yet nothing has been received. I also received a letter from Fusion Dental stating that they will no longer be accepting my dental insurance effective 9/15/19 which also happens to be the final date that my bill with them is due before they send it to collections.I am still waiting back from an email stating confirmation of sending my claims.
So thankful to have Dr. Sullivan, Hannah (Hygienist) and Hannah (Receptionist) as resources for my dental care. It is wonderful to have a dental team that is professional, caring, extremely skilled, warm, compassionate, and trustworthy. The office itself is quite pleasant as well, as is the location. The hygienist I saw was fantastic- helped to recommend a new electric toothbrush and taught not to use hand to brush brush with teeth but to let toothbrush do all brushing, provided soft pick sample when I answered that I have not liked flossing, and was very friendly and considerate while providing service. Excellent visit!

On February 22, 2018, I went in for cleaning and annual exam as a new patient. My visit consisted of x-rays, cleaning and a checkup. Before meeting with Dr. Mysteri, I did the x-ray with an temporary staff member. Not only did she provide incorrect information about my appointment, but she put my results from the checkup in another patients account and provided misleading information because she didnt know this location well. As for the check-up, Dr. Mysteri said I cavities and need two fillings. When I went to get my teeth cleaned, the hygienist didnt see any of that information in my record. Since I was getting braces on 3/14, I went on scheduled an appointment for the fillings for the following week.Because of the confusion and service I received, I ask to transfer my service to another dental office including cancelling the upcoming appointment for my fillings. When I went to the new office for treatment, the dentist didnt see any cavities that needed filling. He also looked at the x-rays and doctors notes and still didnt see why I needed fillings. To think they were going to do work on teeth that didnt needed to be done. Seems shady. If I were you, dont come here. Very disappointed with the service and care I received.
Hannah does a great job cleaning my teeth and really provides personalized care to make sure she is careful around my teeth that are sensitive.
