Great place to take a shower lol*No, but in all seriousness everything is just a little nicer here. I inquiring about membership here a few months ago, and after having a guest pass when I visited New York, I just had to jump ship on LA Fitness when I came back home. I don’t advise making financial commitments after doing blood work in general, but it has proved to be a good decision without buyer’s remorse.It’s the combination of a lot of little things like the staff knowing you by name, circular rubber plates to make deadlifts just a little easier. Perfect mask compliance where other gyms care very little about that, a team of 3 sanitizing every inch of the gym like clockwork at least twice an hour.A gym that I pay less than a dollar a day for, I will attend very infrequently. But when it’s pushing $200/month I’m in there every single day, it’s an incentive. There is most likely room in your budget for a membership like Equinox you just have to check your perspective.*I originally typed this remark as a cynically facetious commentary on paying a lot of money just for the shower but in all seriousness the Kiehl’s skin care routine in all the bathrooms alone costs what I pay every month in membership dues. So even if you just come here to shower before/after work you will break even financially and look/smell great in the process.

Other than the fact that the rate was a little high, I have no complaints about this place. Staff was pretty great too.

Damn, what a workout! For a class that moves minutely and methodically I leave covered in sweat and feeling like jello. The instructors are encouraging and provide hands on assists all while carrying stopwatches to ensure that the exercises last for the exact right amount of time. Certainly my worth a visit!

The first Equinox in SoCal. Friendly staff and some of the instructors are a hoot. Try Ropes and Rowers and Precision Running for solid workouts! Immaculate cleaniness even before Covid-19. Well the gym is pricey..you get what you pay for! Has been solid in the nearly 20 years I have been a member.

I love this Equinox. The trainers are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the yoga classes are on par with the yoga studios around. The equipment is always clean and around lunchtime the gym isn’t busy at all. Busiest time is in the mornings. The women’s locker room is always clean and has a steam room + all of the toiletries you need. This equinox has a spa, a Pilates studio, a cycling studio, childcare and a small cafe where you can buy smoothies and salads mostly.

Its shut down due to covid

Always super clean. Everyone that works there is very nice and polite. It has every machine you could possibly want and excellent classes. Also love the steam room. So happy to be there!

Im not as active as most people here but my buddy dragged me along to a yoga class and it was amazing. Comfortable atmosphere, no judgment and our instructioner was fantastic. Had a great workout and this facility is amazing, great place. Highly recommend

Nice gym. I have been coming here for a couple years. There is room for improvement here and there but overall I am happy.

Incredibly warm staff. The second I walked in the door I felt a great energy, better than the other Equinoxes I’ve visited. It has the luxury of an equinox but the environment of a Gold’s Gym. I can’t wait to go back every morning!

My experience at this particular Equinox has been less than stellar. I found the Membership Advisers to be too pushy (hence the reason I chose to join a different club). The staff arent as friendly as they are at some other Equinox clubs, which is a let-down for a brand that prides itself on its hospitality. The womens locker room is WAY too cramped - the locker bays are too narrow and the showers barely leave room to turn around with the way the water sprays. The club is clean (something I expect from Equinox) and there is a good variety of equipment, but the experience is what makes a person join Equinox and the experience at this club is average at best.

Never too crowded, well maintained, awesome staff, and great trainers. The spa is also amazing. Worth the cost!

This is the best gym ever. I have tried dozens of gyms in Los Angeles and none of them compare to Equinox. I love the classes and the instructors. They are very motivating and they always keep you working harder.

Im never UNhappy with any of my experiences at the other Equinox locations, but this one is my favorite. I also go to West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica. The Pasadena location is just the easiest one. The layout makes it feel very spacious, and its never too crowded, even if I go at 5 or 6 in the evening, I can always get a machine in the cardio area and there is plenty of room to work with the free weights as well. The staff is hospitable but never in your face -- always open for a friendly chat or to be helpful, but also respectful when youre in the zone. The place is always very clean (though this has never been a problem at any Equinox location) and parking is super easy.

The photos for Pasadena location shows a pool -- but their description is correct, theres no pool!

Was a member since 2001, they keep raising prices every year. Now $172 per month. They keep it clean, but havent upgraded the equipment in years. The mall itself is falling apart, no gates or elevators work in the underground parking and it can be a pain to get in and out of the complex.

Excellent equipment, energetic staff, fantastic classes, and outstanding facilities. The membership is a little pricey but I believe it is worth it to get the best gym experience.

This gym is fantastic! Everything is at its convince. The staff is always attentive to everyones needs. My free personal training session went extremely well with Chuckwuma! Hes really professional, encouraging & a 💯% go hard trainer! The LivNCafe is wonderful. Mike (owner) is a great person, really helpful with nutritional needs. Equinox is worth every bit of my money, money spent Well! Im looking forward to my free Pilates session as well!

Overheard one the trainers (her name was Melanie) talking about one of her clients in a derogatory way. How unprofessional. Equinox really needs to raise their standards for who they hire. How ghetto.

Watch out!!!They lie to you by saying you can cancel anytime but it’s 12 month contract.They will trick you to sign up!!!

I applied online for a tour. When I arrived the front desk girl kept saying that the club is for members only. I felt a little embarassed as I leave.
