We’ve lived in these apartments for almost a year and I can honestly say it was one of the worst decisions we’ve made. First problem is the leasing office. You walk in and you feel like you’re bothering them because you’re confronted with a rude, “I don’t want to be here” attitude, which I can understand people have bad days but still there is no professionalism. Second, there are shoot outs maybe every month or every other month. Our car did get stolen right out of the parking lot outside of our apartment unit. But this is not the worst. The first month our ac worked but then it went out and it took them 3 months to fix our ac. Another thing, we were late in letting them know about a mold problem which I take full responsibility for but once informed about it they did nothing. There is BLACK MOLD growing in our unit all throughout the ac. As you may or may not know black mold can cause serious health issues which makes it an urgent situation you would think. When we informed them and showed them pictures they still told us that there wasn’t any mold and that we can’t be moved out of that unit until they get a mold expert to check. There is no sense of urgency and has yet to be dealt with. I can honestly say this is one of the worst experiences and I’m very disappointed that we waisted our money and time here. Highly do NOT recommend. It really seems they do not care about their tenants at all. Pictures below show one of the closets and the other 3 are right under one of the ac vents

After installing a brand new ac in my unit its still hot. and they expect me to pay my rent fix the ac correctly the air isnt even coming out the vents. I woke up completely sweaty again! lets not talk about the rat problem smh dont move here biggest mistake ever

I recently moved in a little over a month ago, and we just received notice that we are being evicted for stuff we DIDNT do. Multiple altercations that went down and all they said was “we have a reliable source that it was you” while holding onto zero proof. Prior to this I didn’t receive any warnings or strikes, and i definitely was going to have rent on time every single month without an issue. I see no remorse, and no respect or justice being served here and I am disappointed, now with nowhere to live.

I’ve been calling and calling. No one answers or returns the calls. The kitchen is overflowing with sewer water from stone the sink. It leaking into the kitchen I can’t wash dishes. My floor is wet. Is stinks. They won’t respond.

I am enjoying living here haven’t had much of a problem. I was offered a renovated apartment and although it wasn’t ready they quickly resolved this issue. The apartment was clean, they cleaned my carpet, painted the bathtub and the apartment is nicely renovated. They aren’t infested with roaches or rats. It’s a quiet place to live in, the people I have came across are friendly. The staff is helpful and professional. Sometimes there isn’t parking available after 10 pm so we just park a little farther from where we live. This isn’t much of an issue because I feel safe in these apartments. They also offer a reserved parking close to your home which is very convenient but the charge $25 a month.The leasing agents who helped me were Mary and Ann Correa who I think were very helpful.

My mom has lived here for a year and a half I come for the weekend all the time, park in the visitor parking and never get towed and this weekend I park in the visitor parking where I always park and I get towed and had to pay $286. There is no signs that says no parking or towed and there is nothing in the lease that says no parking in the visitor parking. I’m a visitor and I parked in the visitor parking and they still towed my car.

I absolutely recommend these apartments. The staff here was so polite and knowledgeable. My leasing agent Mary Rios was so nice and made the whole process fast and easy. She showed me around the place and made sure I was involved through the whole thing. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a new place and don’t forget to ask for Mary she’ll take good care of you!

I have lived at parkside the past 3 years and I refer anyone looking to move to move here. Affordable safe and clean properties. On top of having off duty cops living here the office staff and friendly and prompt at handling any situations that occur. I love it here and yall will too.

Parkside Place is truly a great and affordable place to live. Ive lived here going on a year now, and I dont plan on moving.Leasing staff has a friendly-approachable attitude and is excellent at accommodating their residents. Christina ( manager) is an amazing person, she truly cares about the property and the residents. Mary is the sweetest her personality is truly welcoming. Ana is awesome and very much helpful with anything needed. We have new maintenance crew and they are great !Amazing and convenient place to live. If youre looking for an apartment in Pasadena, give Parkside Place a call or just go stop by, you wont be disappointed.

I was really considering these apartments went a few days to review a apartment. I was shown a dirty unclean apartment that someone just moved out of . So I tired to return today to see a clean one to make my decision only to get there @ with a sign saying they will be back at 11:30 came back @ 12 to the lady sitting in the chair at the front desk then she go walk around the Conner to hide then we walk out she come outside when we getting in the car .Really disappointed don’t recommend

I moved in a couple of months ago. Office staff is great. My apartment is great. Maintenance is the one that needs to get better but there are new maintenance staff so I believe that maintenance will improve. Update i give them a 1 I called to fix several items in my apartment and they still cant come

All the positive reviews have to be fake because I dont know of anyone who would enjoy sharing their home with roaches and rats. The entire complex is trashy and there is never any parking available after 6pm. Save your money and move somewhere where the management actually cares about their tenants.

THESE APARTMENTS ARE AWFUL AND VERY POORLY MANAGED. These women are LAZY and do not care AT ALL.

We found this apartment on Zillow and were instantly attracted to it due to the fact it was 1200 with everything included. We moved from Florida to Texas and did not have the ability to tour the apartment. Our fault I know. But when we first moved in instantly you could smell a stench. Mind you we picked the 1200 apartment due to it being fully renovated and represented as nice. My husband was the first to move in as he started work immediately in Texas. He walked in and instantly seen tons of roaches all over. From the kitchen sink to the window sill in the bathroom. I called the office staff and they stated oh we will send the Maintenance out to spray on Monday. This was a Saturday. I told my husband DO NOT MOVE ANY FURNITURE IN I DO NOT WANT ANY EGGS OR ROACHES ON OUR THINGS. It took multiple attempts to get ahold and have the office staff on the phone in order to verbalize the disgust from renting a unit infested with roaches. I then explained that if they do not fix it that we would need a different unit. They said they sent maintenance out to spray and that when they did the walk through they did not spot any roaches (indicating it came from us, but we did not move any of our furniture in at all) Mind you this unit also has a disgusting smell of mold. A dental flosser painted over on the baseboard. The a/c pipe is hanging over the bathtub in the spare bathroom. The window in the master is spray painted so you can not see outside. The gate for the back porch was broke. The garbage disposal was broken. But the main issue being the infestation of roaches. They need to bomb the entire building or just stop renting units if it is a infestation issue. We only stayed for 3 weeks and was charged 1,000$ to break the lease after already putting a 1,000$ to move in. Very unacceptable behavior from management and disgusting living conditions. Would never recommend this place. EVER.

I loved this place! This is the place to apply If you’re looking for something affordable. The process was so smooth and the young lady, I believe her name was Mary was really nice and answered all questions! Would recommend for sure!

Leasing staff has a friendly-approachable attitude and was excellent at accommodating my family with an apartment that suited our needs. No issues since I moved in. Ive heard some rumors but my personal experience with Management has been a good one. You may swing by the leasing office for some great coffee (not sure where they get it from) and a piece of candy for your kid. Pools are open and clean, certainly helps with the kids throughout this hot summer. Ownership seems to be renovating the entire property and it keeps looking better than what it already does. Cant beat the rent prices with what you get.

Ive lived here for 4 years and I absolutely love this property! I let my son go out and play without worrying about anything which I love. Since they new management has came in I get no problems asking for extermination once a month for precautions Im a very clean person so this is a must for me. The staff is amazing never have any problems whenever anyone I know is looking for a place to live i always recommend they come here!

Poor quality, everything is cheap. Horrible service, and quick to tow. Not a problem understand profiting from paid parking but the service is not worth the cost, place sucks. This is our first place together as husband and wife. We been here for a yr. Our lease is about to end and we dicided to continue here for another yr. Like all other apartments there is lil stuff here an there broke or need of mantinace but they always get to it same day or a week later depending on what it is. Prices are affordable and all bills paid

These apartments have terrible maintenance. The ladies in the front are rude. We have leaks all over our apartments and they blame it on the upstairs apartment. Maintenance and apartment manager say they cant do anything about the leaks because they have no key for the upstair apartment. We have yellow water spots on our ceilings. We pay $975 for a two bedroom and it is so not worth it. Parking is horrible. Supposedly they having a towing company but there are cars here that havent been moved for months. Dumpsters are always overflowing. Do not let the outside view fool you because if it does within a month you will start having problems.

Edit: I feel obligated to leave a positive remark because the move-out waspainless and they didnt charge us for anything dumb or unethical like some apartments do.Highly disorganized. They will lose your paperwork and documents. Youll call with an issue and theyll say theyll get it fixed soon but then when you call for an update they act like its the first time theyre hearing about it. They often times dont pay their trash bill so the dumpsters get buried under garbage. Constant utility outages. When I first moved in my car almost got towed because they were doing pavement work and all cars were supposed to be moved. I was never notified about it at all. When new management took over, my apartment was marked as vacant... Seriously. According to them I didnt live there. When maintenance was fixing a pipe leak and a hole in my neighbors ceiling they stepped through my ceiling and made another hole which was left open for three days. Our apartment wasnt ready on our contractual move-in date. We open the door to start bringing our furniture in only to see paint cans and tools everywhere. Our counter tops werent done and our toilet wasnt installed. We never even received a refund for that day of rent even though wed been told wed receive one. Youll have the smallest mailbox youve ever seen. Windows are being broken every few months by what I assume are kids (mostly apartment windows but it was car windows a few times). Theyre also tow crazy. This place is a complete mess. Go elsewhere.

The new management is terrible, they charge more in rent every chance they get and if you let yourself they even try to charge 40 dollars more in rent in every contract, when the apartment is not even a remodeled one or even a two bedroom. Always have problems with not having hot water or no water at all for hours.Also have a roach problem and the air conditioner sucks !!! And to top it off I got locked outside my apartment with my one year old, I had left my apartment open so they could come and check the AIR ! While I went to go wash in the apartment complex when I came back my apartment was close! I called the 24 hour emergency line because my keys were inside and they had closed my apartment & they dint care they dint come to open my apartment! That’s just sum of the problems here there’s way more!!!

Park Side Apartments is a nice area, school, restaurants and many good reasons why I decided to move into a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment.I have had some problems after I moved into our apartment, but we have been working things out with office staff and the issues I have are getting much better.

These are the WORST apartments I’ve ever lived in. Our ac hasn’t worked for the 3 months we’ve lived here, there’s roaches, black mold, ceiling leaks, mud blocking the front door, no light in one stair well and in the other stair well there’s always people in there doing drugs. There’s nails in the carpet, the dumpsters are always overflowing, the tub was painted and the paint is coming up only after the first few weeks. It says renovated but all they do is paint over things, literally. There’s a cockroach painted over on the wall... the office never responds to calls and if you write a letter they send someone to look at the problem and it never gets fixed. There aren’t any parking spots either. And most of the maintenance men only speak Spanish so it’s hard to communicate what the problem is. Worst apartments I’ve ever been to.

The apartment complex are in very great conditions super clean place and right when I walked into the office the staff was very polite the young lady in the front desk Mary was super helpful explain everything really well to me definitely a family environment and you have strawberry park right in the back of the apts

Ive been here almost two years. It took them 4 times to fix my garbage disposal and turns out my pipe was broken. They figured that out a year and a half after I moved in. There are cracks in the walls where roaches get in from outside. My windows are not properly sealed to where it rains water get in. My daughters tub had been peeling since the second month of being here. Oh last night my daughters ceiling fan fell and I called maintenance for someone to come fix it. They said it wasnt considered an emergency . They didnt if call me to tell me I had to call them to see where the worker was and thats when they told me. They are not a safe place to live. An apartment in another building is sealed off because they found asbestos. Im just glad it didnt fall on my daughter.

I had to move because I had black mold in my apartment and it was coming through the vents. I bought a kit and it came back positive. I had paid parking and so.eone always parked in my spot and the people jn the office do not care unless you are a man. They are rude to women but let your husband or boyfriend come in and they are all nice and dressing so unprofessionally. They have roaches and I ended up buying my own spray and then that got rid of them. They also have no water at least twice a month.

The water is ALWAYS off for some repair work, they lie & horrible management. state they gave me an abandonment and i was suppose to be out on the 6th, however on the 3rd they changed the locks and STOLE so much stuff, then lied about it. You will have more problems than anything, always trash everywhere and plumbing problems too; Pest problems, and the staff really dont care

Parkside place Apartments which are located in Pasadena Texas is a class B property and a great place to live . The current management company Kenner management is awesome I relocated to Pasadena for work purposes and Cristina the property manager was wonderful she assisted me with all of my needs help me find a moving company and made my experienc and transition with them great . The property is well maintained and very quiet Maintance is great and the staff is very friendly even though I had a 6 month lease I found them to be very helpful there are multiple fast food restaurant and grocery store nearby and all of my concerns where addressed properly I had absolutely no problem with the complex or management and I would highly recommend this complex I did look at other property but decided to go with Parkside place Apartments because of the staff and cleanliness of the property The management took the time to totally Answer all of my questions and even went out of her way to make my transition easy ... I travel a lot and very rarely have I encountered a property manager who was more dedicated in assisting me and making me feel at home .... thank you Parkside place Apartments for a wonderful stay I initially was concerned because of the prior reviews but after taking the time to do my own research meaning going to the property during business hours and at night I found most of the reviews where fake and incorrect but I never experience any of these problems the asst Manager Glenda was very helpful as well she took the time to assist me in online bill pay and show me how to use the new amenity the complex offeredAnd trust me if it was horrible and really as bad as some of the reviews I would tell you .... if you have any questions just ask .. I do know that they are under complet renovation so parking was hard at first but the property manager did fix the parking issue I have nothing negative to say about the staff or complex .. I do notice more positive reviews on this property then bad so I assumed these where disgruntled tenant facing eviction..

I moved the hell out of this place and broke our lease!Theres roaches everywhereThey never fix anything and if they do its a cheap job.The pool is never open during the summerThere is never any parking!!! Oh my lord.9 months pregnant and having to walk long distances is a killer. They claim you cant park on the grass or in reverse but people do it all the time, yet my car gets towed?!Our neighbors smoked weed all the time and i could smell it in our apt next door with my toddler there with us.Horrible place to live

They dont have enough trash dumpsters. Trash is all over. If i had seen this before i moved in i wouldnt have. Property manager doesnt take interest in the appearance of property. You sign lease that explains how many are allowed living in apartments and manager does nothing about extra people living with others in a one bedroom. She just cares about the rent. My neighbors we reported having more than 3 living in one bedroom and all we got from her was an excuse. Were not staying here for full term of my lease. I dont care about breaking since she doesnt care about her tenants. Also maintenance sucks.

When I was I need of a place for me and my family everybody turned me down except Parkside place, they helped me out and made me feel like a part of them, never had any priblems, staff friendly as they can be, wonderful place, wonderful neighbors

If i could give no stars i would! I was told one set price before i moved in. I was given a key and had been in my apartment for 3 days when i got a call saying that i had to pay an additional fee of $250 and get renters insurance or i had to move out immediately. Well i didnt have the money for that because the same day my vehicle got towed from the apartments because the chick at the front didnt give me a parking sticker or bother to tell me where i could and couldnt park. So that was july 30th its now august 16th and my children and i have been homeless since!! Come to find out the girl wasnt even suposed to of given us the key yet noone knew she let us go ahead and move in!! This is a horrible crooked ass place they wouldnt even give me all of my money back. They stole from me and put me and my three small children on the streets due to their unprofessionalism!! Absolutely horrible!!!!

Garbage. Screwed me out of a late fee because I made the money order on the 4th even though they said you can turn it in before the doors open. Leaky cieling that has been that way for FIVE MONTHS. No dishwasher even though it said we got one. Ridiculously expensive laundromat and a staff akin to a bunch of goblins. Hate it. Cant wait to move out.

My daughter lives there. Shes pregnant and has a toddler. They have been there almost a year. Her unit is full of problems. ... non-working AC since theyve been there, non-working dishwasher, sink water runs into dishwasher stopping that up. There are other issues. Maintenance dont seem to know what they are doing because they never fix anything up. Everytime I go to visit it is so freaking hot in there I cant even breath! There maintenence suck. And they cant even open up the pool. First they said May, the June 1st, and its still closed! Roaches are HORRIBLE!!! They supposedly have exterminators but they dont even come and when they do, they only do the kitchen and they must be using water cuz whatever they use does NOT work!!! I can go on and on. I told my daughter to file a complaint with the Houston Apartment Association. Any how, I dont recommend these apartments. The parking sucks too, but thats apartments for you.

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!! The whole complex is infested with BED BUGS, and ROACHES. We didnt have bed bugs when we moved in, come to find out all my neighbors have bed bugs, and now we are expected to pay for the extermination when we move. We have to throw out all our furniture now too. On top of that maintenance here sucks! Nothing but idiots who dont know how to fix anything, and watch out for the fat ass white guy who stares at little girls, and says stuff like, and I quote thats a pretty little girl in a creepy pedophile kind of way. Also the power in the back of the complex goes out almost every week, and it takes days to get them to turn it back on. And the crackheads!! Jesus Crist the crack heads!!! There are so many, and if you do not keep your doors locked at all times you will have them sneak into youre apartment to sleep. Dont walk around alone at night either you will get robbed at gun point. Even though we are breaking our lease, Im so glad to be out of here. I will be seeing these horrible people in court. DO NOT MOVE IN TO THIS HELL HOLE!!!!

This apartments sucks it took them 1 month to fix my celing and everitime it rained water was getting inside the apartment . I have really noisy neighbors that is 2 am and they have music on really loud and theres always a guy outside the apartment singing with a guitar at 12 am . This apartments and neighbors dont respect that we have to sleep.

The worst, if A/C stops working they ask you what’s the temperature outside, if it’s not boiling then you can bear to next day, full of roaches no matter how you try to clean or spray, they won’t give you back your deposit and they will give you the run around.

My husband and i has lived here for 7 years..never had any complaints and still doesnt have any..when a person doesnt pay their rent he or she will find everything possible to complain about...i give it 4 stars only because their not brand new apartments..Im sorry but its all a lie..it is okay to turn your rent in the drop box on the 4th before the office open but hello people #your check needs to be dated for the 3rd..

The worst place to live that I have seen, there is never parking if you want you have to pay separately you can not even walk to your car because when it rains everything floods, in the laundry no machine works they have dirty water and they do not even put that they do not work and spend money when you call to report they told me they were not machines from the departments they were not responsible

The apartments are comfortable, but the management disappoints me that when you give complaints they do nothing about it. People smoke cigarettes and marijuana in apartments that are nonsmoking and in the office they do nothing. Thats why I left there.

Two months later, between fanning the maintenance, they grabbed me a Samsung galaxy 2 phone last month. I paid them the rent. They were $ 965 apart. I paid them late afternoon and then those days they sent me a sheet, I went and told them and Imelda called me. He told me that it was a system error and everything was done yesterday. He sent me another sheet and they said another one. Imelda told me that I owed them $ 45 dollars and then the manayer began to shake and insult.

I have been asking them to fix a water leak for a year, the bathroom floor is always wet and also the close folder.and as if that were not enough, maintenance workers came in and robbed me of a home theater system.
