Very quiet and clean, this has been a great apartment community to live in. The people working here are great too: Frankie has been extra nice and helpful anytime something comes up, and its always nice to stop by the office and chat. In maintenance, Jose has been also nice, very prompt and professional when something needs to be fixed around the apartment. The area is very walkable too, theres tons of things to do around.

AVA Pasadena has a charming atmosphere that truly feels like home. We enjoy the unique design of our unit and the excellent amenities provided on-site such as the Amazon Hub Locker. The staff here are genuinely kind and personable whether you are interacting with them via email, phone, or in person. We appreciate Joses patience and enthusiasm in addressing any and all maintenance requests, and we are grateful for Frankies friendly and caring approach to customer service in ensuring that all residents needs are met.

Moved to California this year and AVA Pasadena is a wonderful first home! Great neighborhood and the staff is stellar! Frankie is always prompt and super helpful. Jose will fix any maintenance issue right away. Happy to be here.

Moved in one month ago and everything seems very good. Quite at night, fast reply from the maintenance, friendly staff, and closed to everything I need. 5mins walking to Lake Ave, 3mins to Caltech.

Ill change my rating and possibly my review once hopefully SOMEONE gets back to me.My fiancé and I have been at this location now twice. I went with my soon-to-be MIL - we were well received and the staff agent was receptive. (Im reframing in saying the name at this time because I believe that people deserve a second chance).I dont know exactly what happened in regards to our applications were placed on Friday 1/15. I just know that right now it seems that legally said so I may have lost my application fee. Waiting upon our deposit on hold to get back to us.The community, at first sight, doesnt strike you right away at first; though once you enter the premises are colorful and inviting just as it is displayed on their website!Im feeling shaded with the apartment specials and offers to move in!Only to learn that once you applied and pay for your fees it takes 24 hours in getting an answer for approval once they run your credit and background history! That didn’t take place at the time because my fiancé had his credit frozen by the time he got to release it. It was way after the 24hour window and the unit was given to whoever was next.MAJOR UPDATE: Like I said and promised Frankie (rental agent) is your go-to person. Though keep in mind that however getting a hold of anyone in the Avalon communities office. Have some serious patience.I must say that I lost it on Friday 1/22. It took me 2 hours after an email and before that two other surveys from Avalon communities to get someone’s attention and on the phone to get back to me.The “On HOLD” deposit Sunday 1/17 was returned immediately right away within 48hours.There were a big miscommunication and confusion between my fiancé/boyfriend and my MIL. I still hope that I can move in and live here. If not? Oh well.Thanks for hearing me out!3rd LAST UPDATEWe made it! We moved to AVA Pasadena and I can’t tell you how happy I am living there. Yes, there were si hiccups though we prevailed. I strongly advise you to do your research - Frankie is the main guy to reach out to, he had incredible patience with us. Best of luck to you. The neighborhood is nice and quiet! Havent yet made it to the conveniences.

AVA Pasadena maintenance department led by Clarence T is so quick to respond! Professional and go above and beyond. One day, they came in to do routine maintenance, and noticed some marks on our wall and took it upon themselves to go and grab paint and spot treat the marks! All in all, they are awesome.-Apt. 126

First off, weve lived here for going on two years and I can say that there isnt a single complaint. Frankie and Clarence are both absolutely amazing and so beyond helpful. They are both extremely tentative and willing to work after hours to help fix any problems that may come up! I am so beyond lucky to have two extremely helpful people here to help with any problems. Thanks Frankie and Clarence for the hard work!!!

Ive lived in this community for a while now and I appreciate the staff (Frankie and Clarence) who are professional and get back to me via email and phone when I reach out. Good customer service is so rare nowadays, so it is refreshing when people like Frankie and Clarence professionally follow up regularly. The community is located on a quiet street 6 min walk from many shops and restaurants.

This is an awesome location to live in because its located near restaurants and grocery stores. Its also safe because its so close to Caltech so their security patrols the streets. Its very quiet and peaceful and everyone is very respectful to one another. Frankie and Clarence are incredible people who will help you if you have any issues and they even set up events so the residents get to know each other. The amenities are nice and theyre not very crowded. I love AVA Pasadena!

A close friend of mine lives in this property and since my lease will end at the end of next month, I asked her for an impromptu tour. While checking out the amenities, we ran into who my friend said was the maintenance manager, Clarence. He greeted us with a warm, friendly smile and hello, which made me feel very comfortable to ask him some questions. He answered them honestly and assured me it was a great community to live and that he does his best to keep the property looking nice. He informed us to let him know if there is anything he can do to help. If everyone on the team is as nice as Clarence I will definitely give Ava Property serious consideration, but for now they have earned a 5 star review for excellent first impression.

Im absolutely in love with these apartments! The apartment and facilities are gorgeous, and the staff is wonderful. Ashley and Clarance are so helpful and accommodating. They truly help to make the community feel like home. Everything is clean and very well maintained. Regarding the apartments, theyre well laid out, spacious and have so much storage! The complex is very dog friendly, which is helpful for my two pups. The location is fabulous, close to shops, restaurants and nightlife, but nestled on a quiet and safe street. I couldnt be happier with my decision to live at AVA Pasadena!

I posted the previous review in 2017. Its now March of 2019 and I still love living here. For the past year we have had a new manager named Frankie. His is amazing! He truly takes pride in his work and in the apartment community. He always has time to talk or to answer any question I may have. I feel secure in my decision to continue to live here, thanks to Frankie and of course, Clarence.2017: I just moved in 10 days ago and it has been wonderful. Ashley and Clarence are amazing. They help you with anything you need and answer lots of questions without hesitating. The apartment itself is spacious and there is lots of storage. The amenities are great. It is walking distance to stores and restaurants. I keep pinching myself to see if Im dreaming.

We have moved in for 3 months and really love the apartment and the staff so far. The location is unbeatable: safe and quiet, also close to the campus, the shops on Lave Ave. The building is very clean, facilities are all very well maintained ALL THE TIME! Ashley and Clarence are the managers. They are awesome! Friendly and helpful whenever you need them! I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Been here for a month and so far so good. I love it here. Moved from Texas and haven’t looked back. The location is great and a few blocks away from shopping. Very safe and quiet neighborhood.

Visited this property a couple days ago and was really impressed with the quality of service from the staff. I ran into Clarence from Maintenance and was completely blown away by how helpful and nice he was. The property is really well kept and the units that I saw were also really nice. My only reservation is the price -- its a bit hefty. I really wish they had better deals.

My lease is set to expire at the end of this month so I’ve been apartment hunting for a few weeks. Checked out a few properties and so far have only been impressed with Ava not because the units are necessarily better than the others I checked out, but because of the first class service I received during my visit.  Frankie who showed me around, seemed very nice and appeared to know a lot about the property.  I was, however, particularly impressed with Clarence.  I saw him as I was leaving the property and he introduced himself and asked how my visit went and if there’s anything he can do to make my experience better to let him know. So I asked him a few questions and he shared his own personal experience as a tenant, which made me feel really comfortable about actually living there myself.  Cool vibe for sure!

Super love this apartment. I have been lived here for a year, I have to say this is the best apartment!People who work here are really helpful!When we have maintenance problem, Clarence will come and help us fix it immediately.Frankie is very friendly, he always smile and say hi to the neighbors!

My girlfriend and I moved from DTLA to this apartment because we were tired of the polluted air and all the hazards at night. This place is in a great neighborhood, quiet, safe and beautiful. Several grocery stores are within walking distance.Whats even more amazing about its place is its management. Frankie, our manager here, is awesome. He is very responsive and friendly, always ready to solve any problem you have. He takes pride in his work did an excellent job. We feel so lucky to find this place and make it our home.

I just moved in in April. Im really in love with this property. It is located in a safe and quiet area. The building is cozy, well kept and clean. Ashley and Clarence are really wonderful and charming. They are always ready to help and guide the residents. Since I moved in I needed many helps so every time Clarence answered me very quickly and helped me in the best way. These guys are amazing, I feel relaxed and confident having Ashley and Clarence by my side in this community. Absolutely recommend AVA Pasadena!

My husband and I invest in real estate so weve had our share of experiences with property maintenance and with residents. And my, does Ava Pasadena do a tremendous job! Not only are the dog friendly, theyre resident friendly! I really love the community, Frankie (manager), and the people in the community. I think because Frankie and Clarence (maintenance supervisor) creates such a positive environment, everyone in the community emulates that same positivity! Recently they upgraded the pool. I was devastated to hear the construction was going on but literally it was done within like a month! Just in time for summer and way faster than we all expected! I didnt want to write this review fearing my positive review will attract more people and potentially drive rents up haha but credit should be given where credit is due. And this community deserves a raving review! 👏🏻

This place has been a wonderful home for me and my fiancé in the time we have been living here. Sadly our lease is up and we will be moving to another Avalon location. Ashley, Maria, Clarence, and Elise have all been so helpful and amazing. I would love to move back here eventually in the future.

New to California. Just moved into AVA Pasadena and was pleasantly surprised to the quality and feel of the apartment. Very cozy. Alexzandrea made the move in quick and easy after a long trip on no sleep. Clarence was super helpful on any concerns I had on the apartment and made sure to help me immediately. Located in amazing area.

Ava Pasadena is a very good place to live. The people here are very helpful.I remembered that one time, I had trouble with my bathtub, and that day was Saturday. Clarence does not work during the weekends. But I really need the help from the maintenance. After the explaining my concern to Ashley and Timmy. Ashley made a call to Clarence, and explained my concern to Clarence. Clarence is very nice and decided to do me a favor. He came to my apartment very soon, and help me to solve the problem.Thank you so much Clarence, Ashley, and Timmy.

Living at the AVA was my favorite thing about being in California for work this past year! Such a lovely, welcoming, peaceful, and beautiful place to come home to after a busy and hectic work day. I absolutely adored living here and the people who have this place running smoothly are to be commended. I have lived in different apartments and in different cities due to my profession, but this is hands down one of the best places I have lived. If you need something done maintenance wise, you can count on Clarence to be of immediate assistance and to be incredibly helpful as well :) I could not recommend this place enough. The AVA is great!! :)

Clarence and Ashley are both wonderful. I moved here last month, and this has sincerely been the best move-in experience Ive ever had at any apartment complex.

We moved in in May and have been very happy at the AVA! The facilities are all kept very clean and we havent had any issues with noise. We especially love the quiet street the AVA is on and being walking distance to grocery stores, a movie theater, and fun restaurants! Our only complaint is that the hallway outside our apartment often reeks of cigarette smoke, which is frustrating since this is supposed to be a smoke-free building. Staff has been friendly when weve brought this up to them, but it seems like there isnt much they are able to do about the situation. Overall, we are very happy here and so impressed by the upkeep of the facilities, the layout and quality of the individual apartments, and the friendliness of the staff.

AVA Pasadena is a beautiful and safe place,I lived there one and a half years with my wife and my two kids.You can enjoy pool, spa and gym.Ashely is manager about this community,she is very nice,if you have any problems,she can help you.

I visited the property several weeks ago after hearing about it from a friend. I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. As I was walking in I received a friendly greeting by a very nice guy in a dark shirt -- I believe he said his name was Clerence. He made me feel very welcome and went out of his way to help me find the leasing office. The lady in the office (Alexandria) was also super nice and answered all my questions honestly. The apartments are spacious and very well kept. I was impressed with how clean the complex was. Although a bit on the pricey side, the amenities were awesome! Kuddos to the staff at AVA for making my experience a great one!! Im hoping the prices decrease a bit so that I am able to actually afford a one bedroom. :-)

I have lived here for a year and I just love my apartment it in a nice location where there so many great places I can just walk toThe building is always clean and well-kept the maintenance manager Clarence is awesome he has made keys for me always have an answer for any question i might have I would definitely recommend this place

My personal experience in the AVA PASADENA is been very pleasant the staff in the building are very attentive. love living in this location I feel at home.

My in-laws recently moved into AVA. Clarence could not have been better working out the kinks in the new apartment. Such a great building. Total relief to have someone Clarence on the grounds in case anything goes wrong.

I have lived here for about 6 months now and everything has been great. But one person stands out above and beyond everyone else.Ashley. She has always done what she could to fix any issues Ive had in my apartment. She always has a very positive and outgoing attitude that just lifts everyones spirits in the room.I just re-signed the lease (for another year) and it wasnt an easy process from my end. Ashley made it as easy as possible and had a solution for every hurdle I had to overcome when.Her patience and professionalism is what AVA Pasadena needs.6 Months ago my life drastically changed and Ive had to start over from scratch. I patched up my life here at AVA pasadena and Im not leaving anytime soon.

Clean, freshly revamped, and roomy apartments. Dual elevator access to all floors. Basic on-site gym, pool/spa, BBQs, lounges, giant chess set are a few of the facilities. Quiet neighborhood street compared to other parts of Pasadena. Happy Im staying here!Some have complained about BBQs and pool parties. Folks have these on the weekends and I am glad to see some people enjoying the great on-site amenities.Hours of use are reasonable and so are the number of guests.Good mix of folks here - groups of students, young professionals, families, etc.There has been the rare occasion of inconsiderate persons - loud music, trash and no longer desired items left around site upon move out. But really a non-issue.

The maintenance guy Clarence Turner is very helpful and efficient. I had problems such as the clog or light bulb, and he always came to fix them immediately.

Ashley Esposito is a sweet girl and very really helpful. Sad to see her go!!
