Tried CA Nails for the first time today, and I will not be going back, due to poor care of cuticle treatment during my manicure. Bloody details below.Cons: On multiple fingers, there were cuts made outside the cuticle line that were deep enough for my finger to start bleeding in and outside of the cuticle line. Most cuts were outside of my cuticle- which demonstrates poor accuracy and care and resulted in a really painful experience! When you have cuts on 5 out of 10 fingers, that alcohol + acetone life is bad. Additionally, the manicurist asked a coworker for help multiple times. This gave me the impression that she wasn’t sure what to do, and then her process affirmed that. Please ask for help if you need it, but it was clear that this employee was not trained well in manicure technique and should not be assisting customers.Pros: The people were very friendly, and they definitely knew a lot clientele by name. The space had a lot of care taken for Covid precautions- clear barriers on all nail and pedicure stations. The massage chairs were lovely, too! My pedicure was totally fine!!

This is the first nail salon I’ve actually visited here and was very much impressed with the quality of service. I found a new place… and am extremely grateful.

Great Corona Virus Safety.. By appointments only, they have sanitizing products the moment you enter, plexie plastic barriers and constant cleaning. Only 2 customers at a time with 10 ft distance. Family business, Mary & John and all their staff are great. You feel at home and once youre an established customer, you get your own personal kit. I have been coming here for probably ten years now. I highly regreat commend CA Nails.

First time here and I had a great experience great group of people working here, I love a place that gives you jokes as you walk in lol but I had Jimmy and I feel like he did an amazing job on both my nails and toes. He was very informational about the acrylic that was on previously which I appreciated because now I am going to switch to Gel! He listened to everything that I wanted without any form of attitude and thats hard to come by with nail technicians! Highly recommended by someone who is VERY picky! I will be going back!

I have been going to California Nails for over 2 years now. The quality of work Jimmy does is OUTSTANDING! Nowhere else Id go but here! They have so many colors to choose from and they make you feel welcomed! Jimmy is an amazing nail artist and always pays attention to detail!

It was my first time getting a full set and they were amazing about answering my questions and making me comfortable. The nail tech, nicknamed Tiny, was phenomenal! She’s so sweet and did awesome with my nails. I don’t know how to upload a picture but believe me, I was blown away! 100% recommend.

Calling ahead is very helpful. Great detailed service. Would definitely return.

First time walking in and i felt very comfortable everything is clean, they do great santization, doesnt reuse ANYTHING, make sure the nails are clean, takes time as well as cuts cuticles, the price is amazinggggggg for such caring people and quality. I give all thanks to Jimmy for being able to be so creative and making my nails so beautiful, also taking the time to care knowing im a hairdresser and needing them to be alittle thick due to being in water constantly, this is a gel overlay, i 100% recommend this place, Jimmy went above and beyond to make sure i was satisfied! I absolute love this place. They greet you as you walk in and offer you beverages from the beginning of the service. My nails guy, Jimmy is the only person that I trust with my nails. Very good at listening to my concerns and taking the time to make sure each and every single thing is perfect. Excellent at shaping nails and his customer service is overall amazing. Being a former nail technician myself, I am very picky so every detail has to be done to the T. If you’re looking for a new spot to make regular, this is your place and Jimmy is your guy.

They put others first when we had an appointment and they would just walk in. We were there for three hours. The quality isn’t the best. Made our cuticles bleed. Very expensive for low quality.

I take my mother to see Tiny for a pedicure. She always does a nice job while making my mother comfortable and at ease. Theyve remodeled and it looks clean and pleasant.

One of the best pedicures I have ever had for such a good price. My nails look fantastic too. David was excellent! Highly conscientious. He didn’t soak my nails off with a bowl of acetone, he placed the cotton on each finger nail, used comfortable plastic clips to secure, then two sets of special gloves to keep the fumes from our noses. The entire staff was friendly and had a wonderful sense of humor. I am from out of town, but I would schedule here again when possible. Thank you David and CA. Nails for an excellent experience!

This was my first visit there. I was acknowledged and greeted as soon as I walked in. The staff is very friendly and attentive no doubt, but David who did my manicure and pedicure was not very good at it. From the pedicure to applying the nail polish, it was a bit sloppy. However, he was very willing to fix his wrongs with a positive attitude. I think if he gets a little bit more training on how to do the manicure and pedicure properly, he would be excellent. The staff was friendly; the price was reasonable; the environment was cleaned and seemed sanitary, so I would give this place another try.

The staff was nice. I took my daughter (shes 4) and she had a great time. Tiny took great care of her. Shes been to one other nail salon before and was never as excited or happy as she was leaving here.. Ill be back again soon!

Had am excellent experience, Holly was a great beautician! We had to go back and change a color because I had changed my mind mid SNS and she was very sweet and accommodating. I did my first Manicure and Pedicure cause my sisters are always here doing there nails and i always wanted to try it out. So a man name David did it for me and he did amazing i had dead cuticle on my numb and he got rid of it and i’ve been trying to get rid of it myself for so long. He did an amazing job and took his time and he didn’t rush at all i will definitely come back here again.

Yesterday I called this place and made an appointment for 4:30. I just needed to fill-in my acrylic nails and thats it, I waited for 1 hour for someone to do my nails and left that place at 6:40 pm with horrible nails and hurt too. Everyone was doing a bad job, I have a specialty in spa and believe me this “nail salon” sucks. Also this lady quickly made faces because my boyfriend didn’t want to give her a tip. Like tip for what ???

Ive been coming here for over 1 yr and every time I am never disappointed! Everyone is so genuinely content and does an excellent job every time for my manicure pedicure and very clean. Products are great and in style. And they have been in business 17 yrs which is unheard of for a nail salon. That speaks for itself!

Just finished an amazing experience at California Nails! My best friend and I decided to just have a spontaneous day of google searches and girl fun. Neither one of us knew the area and decided to get a mani/pedi. We read the reviews and decided on California Nails.I am so happy with the service! Mr. Thai and Ms. Tina were friendly and provided great service. We had the full service pedicure which included an exfoliating scrub, a moisturizing foot wax and a great smelling body butter rub afterward. Great customer service and with professional work. I couldnt have chosen a better salon.I will be coming again.

I think this nail salon is underrated. They have great services with reasonable prices. The lady worked on my nails last time was so awesome. She took her time on every detail of my nails. I got a full set pink and white and so love it. The salon is very clean and well organized. Thumb up for this place.

I have been here once. THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DO OMBRE. They attempted multiple times. I had to leave with a solid color instead of what I wanted. 2 DAYS LATER my middle nail broke because it was too thin. Still had to pay 30 for full set acrylic coffin. A week later another nail broke. The people are nice but the service was disorganized and unprofessional. Both my friend and I ended up in different chairs with a different person than when we started due to overlapping appointments. I dont recommend it. Paris Nails at Fashion Square provides fast and quality service!

Worst dip I’ve ever had. Very sloppy, had the dip polish all over my fingers around my nail. Spent hours fixing it. Then, day 2, the polish starts cracking off. It’s now been 6 days and the dip is chipping off in multiple places. Tried this place (not my normal place) and will not be back.

I have never had someone do such a terrible waxing job. My eyebrows needed to be cleaned up and nothing more. Instead, she took my right eyebrow down so far that it is basically in the middle of my eye. They are SO uneven!! I will NEVER be back and hope this review saves someone.

This place is great. Its spacious and very clean. The staff are friendly and treat each guest like VIP. Mr. Thai did the gel nails for me, and I love it so much. Higly recommended.. :)

They are very nice and do an okay job (my manicure was better than my pedicure) but its not the cleanest place Ive ever been. I am actually a little concerned that the tools do not get sanitized between clients since they came from a drawer in in a basket.

$25 gel manicure. Didnt clean or file/buff my nails at all. Only ripped my cuticles off. The hand massage lasted all of 5 seconds. Final results - the polish is uneven and on my skin. Surprised since the reviews were decent.

Worst place but good place for whites only. Their nails pop off within 3 days. They will allow other customers in you business and harass you. They dont care about any of your situations even if you are willing to spend good money. If black or look black and not an elder you will be a victim of racial profiling and God forbid if you have kids or babysitting. Dont waste you money or put yourself in an uncomfortable situation. My experience there showed me why those who are weak minded destroy their businesses and conduct themselves with violent behavior. DONT DO IT TO YOURSELF!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!

We were here on vacation and found this place and the staff and the service were great. Highly recommend this place

I asked for an acrilyc full set and they went ahead and did a dipping gel powder without my consent. All the while lying to me and telling me thats how they did acrilycs. They didnt listen to what I wanted done and they did my nails chunky and bent. Oh and they charged me $40 for all that. Never going back.

I went to this salon for the first time about 2 weeks ago to get a full set of acrylics. They looked beautiful and I was very happy when I left! Unfortunately a day later I had one break. Then the next day I had 2 break off! I have been getting fake nails for a few years now and this has never happened to me before. A few days later I had one crack right down the middle. It was very painful. I finally went to a different salon and just got them all taken off. Wont be returning to this salon! Not sure if they dont know what they are doing or are just using poor quality product but I am very disappointed.

The nail salon is conveniently located, clean, and filled with really nice happy people. I was able to get a manicure and pedicure or from the wonderful Miss Lee, who did a great job. I have arthritis and with swelling its not always easy to have a great experience, for the first time in months I was able to relax and get a pain-free gorgeous mani pedi. I cant wait to come back.

Charged more for my son cause he sat in adult chair than my daughter who sat in kids chair but hes just taller.

First they tell me I can be taken right away and they seat me soaking in water for 45 minutes. Then I explained to the woman how I like my nails filed and she does the complete opposite. The whole thing was rushed just she could get to the next person was not a good experience.

Atmosphere is nice enough, prices are okay... but my gel nails BARELY lasted a week. I get my nails done quite frequently, and gel has ALWAYS lasted AT LEAST two weeks, sometimes three. Very disappointed. My toes are also already chipped (they didnt even do a great job on those.)

I enjoy getting my nails done here. Jimmy, Tiny, Tim, Tina, David and Lyn are all wonderful.

CONS: Walking into this place was like stepping into the 70s. Brown everywhere with dust. Fans are loaded with dust bunnies lol and their polish as well. David did my nails pretty sloppy I felt. Requested to do basic mani and pedi. He kept insisting to do Gel. I feel like its important to sell to your customer but when the customer knows what they want. Thats it. Stop insisting. Toe nails were short and CROOKED.PROS: They were very friendly. Took their time. Asked me which tools I preferred to use. Price is the same as other places.It was a one time deal unfortunately. Thanks for trying ..i guess

There are quite a few problems. (I got a full set of acrylics) 1. My cuticles are literally bleeding. I have huge cuts all along the skin surrounding my nail and it looks terrible. 2. I have a crooked nail! Me and my friend went together and both of our right pointer finger nails are crooked. (We didn’t want to say anything because the tech had just got done complaining about a customer who has pointed out something wrong with their pedicure that she did.)

This was the absolute worst quality nail set I’ve ever received in my life. My pinky nail was so thin is broke while at the salon and the entire set was uneven and crooked. Took them over 3hrs for a set and pedi!!!!

I honestly thought this was just gonna be another mediocre mani/pedi but wow this nail salon really impressed me. Great service, they let me walk in and took me right away. The gel colors were very pretty, there were so much to choose from. The owner was very friendly and kind when it came to customers.

Tried it once for a SNS and it starting breaking after 3 days. Gave it another try for a pedi, and I had to wait 20 minutes for someone with only 5 people in the place, and when i finally got service, the guys hands were shaking so badly. The pedi was horrible and the polish work was so sloppy, they had to take it off and have someone else do it.

They do a great job make you not want to leave it has become me and my daughter favorite place to just chill out.

I had a bad experience with Tina, I had to come back a day later but David took care of me very well and I left happy with very nice nails

Gel nails stayed on for 18 days! Came back for a new gel mani today since I was so impressed and by now my nails had grown out. Hopefully I get the same results as the last!! Fingers crossed :)

I went last week I had to wait 3 hours my nails came out so messed up my toes Are so sloppy nail paint is already coming off. People that were there waiting as well as me we’re getting mad because they were there also for 3 hours and did sloppy work . Will never come here again !
