From start to finish, every person that spoke with me and handled my animals was professional and friendly. It is clear that everyone working there actually cares about you, and understands how important your animals are to you. Dr. Lewandowski is by far the most brilliant veterinarian I have ever worked with. I trust her opinions and advice implicitly. They even have a drive-through pharmacy. This place is top notch!
BEST hospital I have ever been to. Dr. Rik saved my dog when no other hospital would even try. I can’t thank you and your staff enough for even seeing us. My dog was turned away by our previous vet and multiple offices before coming here for an emergency surgery. Dr. Rik saw her, put her on the schedule, and fixed her up. I am beyond grateful for saving my baby’s life and you all have gained a forever customer.
I’ve taken my dogs to a lot of vets but none compare to Dr. Rik. He is very knowledgeable and his compassion for our dogs is something we’ve never seen before. He’s our favorite doctor and we will always recommend him!
Dr. Rafael Prim is the best vet I have ever had at this vet hospital and I have had my pets seen by almost every vet currently working there. He shows genuine care and interest and goes over everything in detail to make sure you are actually able to understand what is specifically going on with your pet. I am so glad I switched over to him because he is also very kind and goes above and beyond to help treat your animals.
Selena deserves a five-star rating. She recently answered the phone the morning I called in a panic when having an issue with my dog. Selena listened, she took her time with me, did not hurry me through the conversation, she let me explain exactly what was going on. She exhibited sympathy and empathy, she gave me very good advice as to what I could safely try to alleviate the situation and it worked very well. I appreciate her so much, she is a real asset to the Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital! Thank you very much, Selena!
Taking my puppy Minnie for her first visit went well. Dr. Donnelly was so kind and understanding when she called me to go over Minnies check up and my questions. She answered all my questions I had as a first time fur Mama and she was very detailed. She helped me understand things with my puppy. The staff was very friendly and informative and love Minnie.
Thank you guys for squeezing my dog in today for an emergency. Dr. Rik was very calming and helped Sadie feel better. You guys are the best!
Ive been taking all of my pets to Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital for several years. On our last visit, my dog was seen by one of their new doctors, Dr. Rik. He was very kind and helpful, answering every question I had about my little guy. Every single doctor and tech there have always been so amazing and showed that they truly care about all of my babies.
I recently visited the clinic to establish my puppy and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Prim was awesome and provided great advise to keep my puppy healthy. Very happy so far with their service.
Absolutely love this place, from the office staff to the Dr. They are great. And not a money seekers. They really care about your pet.
We’ve been coming here since we moved to central FL 4 years ago. Our fur baby is not an easy patient since she’s very nervous but this team is amazing. Very caring, helpful and thorough. Highly recommended :)
Not happy with this place recently. After most of the doctors left, I was happy with seeing Dr. Rick. He was treating both my dogs well for their allergy problems. However last week I saw Dr. Nelou and she was not very attentive to my dog. I am not happy with my visit with her and I don’t understand why I was scheduled with her.
Took my new kitten in to see Dr. Rick. He previously saw my dog before she passed away. I absolutely love his energy and how helpful he was with all of our questions as first time kitty owners! The clinic is very affordable and the staff are great, I highly recommend this hospital and this doctor!
Very happy with our visit yesterday. We are new clients here after moving to the area. Dr. Patel and Arianne helped take care of my cat and we’re very helpful with everything from start to finish. We’ll be back and we have recommended this clinic to our friends as well.
Dog | 5yrs old Pembroke Welsh CorgiIt was our first time to this veterinary office! As a new patient, from scheduling our annual exam to check out it was a breeze. They explained the status of our Corgi; areas she checked off on, shots that were updated, and areas that are needing improving and how.Our corgi also got her nails trim upon my request and they did a stellar job!My technician who transported our Corgi throughout the appointment handled her with the upmost respect and kindness.Something that is pretty neat about their office is that they have a drive-thru window to quickly pick up or drop off lab samples and prescriptions for your pet!In closing our Corgi came out smiling and not hating her initial visit to this new vet. Will be returning!Thank you 😊
Just brought my kitty here for an emergency after collapsing. Dr. Rick scheduled us in right away and helped our sweet boy get back on his feet. You guys are always amazing. Thanks again for seeing us today!
This animal hospital is amazing. The staff is excellent and very reliable and help. I highly recommend the business.
I have a very difficult rescue who absolutely hates the vet, and its a mission to get him to walk inside any Vet Clinic. They were able to work around his anxiety, and treat him. The vet and the tech were beyond phenomenal and patient. I highly recommend them.
I have always trusted brining my dog here! Recently I saw the new Dr. Rik and Arianne. They were very helpful and patient with me and I really admired how much they cared about my boy and answered all my questions. We are glad to have found Waterford animal hospital!
The staff is always friendly and professional. I also love that they also have boarding. Weve had nothing but great times and positive experiences! So happy we found this facility for our Max.
This hospital is wonderful and very professional! They helped me navigate Japans very extensive (and confusing) 6 month process for importing my dog and cat. They really went above and beyond in helping me make sense of it all, as well as addressing any concerns that arose. Thanks to them both my pets arrived in Japan with relative ease! They are very thorough, proactive and pay attention to the details, they always gave wonderful care to both my pets. I absolutely would recommend them!
I have been trying to call for the past week to know the cost of a fecal sample because it’s not stated on the website. No one answers when I call any time of the day… great service but all I need to know is the cost, if someone from management can email me or call me to let me know.
Been coming here since last year and I’m glad that we found the right vet for us. Not only is Dr. Rick up front with us about everything, but he is the only one who has come outside to speak to us about our dogs. We are glad that we can talk to our vet in person now. Thank you Dr. Rick for your amazing care and for getting our pup back to feeling himself!
The staff at Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital were extremely friendly. They listened to all of my concerns and took good care of my dog. Dr. Rik was patient and friendly. I highly recommended visiting them!
I have a 13 year old min pin. Hes my baby. Well, he had severe lung issues as a pup. He has had issues with his coughing all his life. Recently, he began coughing more and different than before. I was worried about his heart. They got me in the same day (nobody else could). They were polite, responsive and friendly. They diagnosed him quickly and have him on meds and a care plan to help him. The doctor (Rik) was great. I wish all doctors had his bedside manner so to speak. Thanks to them I feel my lil guy has the best shot at managing and recovering.
So nice to have found a reliable vet clinic. After searching for the right place we finally found one for our dogs. Dr. Rick came out to the car and was very pleasant with us. We have definitely found the vet for us.
I very please with the care my Bobby has from you, all! From the first time I took him to you I was very satisfied. I have no complaints. God bless you, all and please, be safe. From Bobby and his mom. Thank you!!😘😘😘😘😘
We have been taking our loved pets to Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital for around 22 years now and would not and will not trust another animal hospital to take them too or board them. With all the horror stories out there about vets and boarding, we have had nothing but a positive with all the staff and with every visit!!!
All the staff was super friendly and treated my dog with attentive care. Thankfully, he seems to be recovering well and is back to his normal happy self.
Love this place! They always take great care of my boy (cat).
I brought my puppy here for his first vet visit since bringing him home. The staff was amazing. They did a great job at making me feel comfortable with their service. I was nervous to wait in the car with him, but they did a great job keeping my informed on what was happening inside.
Being as my dogs do agility and are very active, I depend on a place that I can rely on to make sure my dogs are healthy and fit. I have been going to Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital now for approximately 19 years and the doctors and staff have always been great. They work with you to resolve any concerns that you may have.
The best customer service! Dr. Donnelly and her staff are always extremely professional, courteous, and accommodating. I’m glad to have them look over my pets.
Terrel and Dr. ric were very good and experienced with my aggressive dog who gets very riled up at the vet. thank you for your time 👍
I’ve always brought my pets to this animal hospital and I love how you guys work! Thank you for caring for our animals and all the hard work you do!
Absolutely the most caring, professional veterinarians, technicians, and support staff. Attentive to each pets needs individually. Spend as much time as you need answering questions and explaining exam, treatment, and medications. Wonderful practice. Twenty stars!
There are two types of veterinary clinics: ones that care about the health and well-being of your animals, and ones that try to nickel and dime you due to the emotional distress from your hurt pet. Weve taken our pets to WLAH for 2 years without any problems until now. I took my dog in 5/24 because he had a pretty deep cut on his ear. Their treatment plan was to clip and clean the area [$45.85], an injection of pain meds and antibiotics [$74], medically super gluing the wound, and the cost of the cone [$25]. Then the tech mentioned that she quoted me wrong and needed to tack on another $67 charge for their exam fee after I signed for the original quote, and the vet had to talk to me on the phone asking for the adjusted payment. The tech that day mentioned that if my dog needed sutures that they would have to send me to the emergency vet, but that the super glue would be enough in this case. The vet said to keep my dog in the medical cone for 10 days. I received a call on 5/27 from Karen seeing how he did on the pain medications and that he was fine and that no other check-ups were needed [unless something out of the ordinary happened] and that the wound would heal on its own. This review brings me to today, 10 days later. My dog scratched his ear, as dogs do, and the wound is the same as the day I brought him in. I called and a technician took down my information and mentioned so he ripped off his cone and scratched the wound but I had to correct them twice and say that the previous vet said that the 10 days would have been enough for the wound to heal. Then I was put on the line with another vet [not sure if it was the same one from the first time] that said that it takes a couple of weeks for wounds to heal via medical super glue.” I asked why they didnt suture the ear on the first day since the cut was deep enough, but they said that they “don’t normally suture the ears” but I still waited to see what their new plan would be for todays visit. The tech came back asking me to sign paperwork to board my dog but did not provide the estimate for the service, so I asked them to get me a printed estimate. The estimate she came back with was the same exact treatment plan they did the first time, so at this point, it was truly frustrating. My husband also spoke with the vet saying that we followed all of their medical instructions for the care of our pet, but that it did not heal correctly. When the time came for us to retry treatment and we were offered the same plan which would more than likely bring us back to the same exact place, we felt that this veterinary clinic cornered us to get the surgical glue treatment again, just so we could pay for it all over again.
This was a referral from a vet hospital that didnt have a doctor on site. I am very impressed with not only the staff at Waterford Lakes Veterinary Hospital. The nurses and orderlies were courteous, friendly, and professional. The doctors attention to Our Kelly ( a 15 yr old calico cat) was superb, they checked her for the issues I reported, and I am happy to say she is resting comfortably with loving caretakers (would be parents)and today she actually showed an appetite for her Gravy Lovers treat. Were not out of the proverbial woods yet, but I can rest easy knowing that shes been taken care of by the best I have seen to date. Kudos to you all for all you do. Thank you soooo very much!!!
If I could give zero stars, I would.1) My cat is a stray cat who has never been to the vet before. However, she is very confident, friendly and a prime candidate for adoption. I have handled her since she was 3 weeks old, she eats out of my hand, etc. We brought her to the hospital to get her ready to come home. Now heres the thing: SHE IS NURSING a 3 week old kitten. I brought both her and the kitten in to WLAH intending to get mama vaccinated. My family requires our pets to be vaccinated and cleared before they are brought indoors. When I brought my cat in, I was told that I would not be seeing my doctor, as she is pregnant. It is unclear why this is such a concern as I am vaccinated, always willing to wear a mask, and intended to maintain social distance. My cat has never been handled by someone other than myself and my father before, and I anticipated her needing some reassurance from me. PROBLEM 1: At the time of scheduling the appointment, no one told me that Id have to do a curbside visit, and that the doctor would call me after evaluating her. To this date, I do not know my doctors name, and she never called me.I exclusively interacted with a vet tech, who took a brief history of her, went in without the cat (PROBLEM TWO) and returned with a hefty bill. This hospital wanted to charge me $500 for standard vaccinations and then ANOTHER $500 for spaying and microchipping. Having done a little research prior, I know this is not a normal cost for vaccinating a cat. It should fall anywhere between $100-$300 tops. Afterwards, he took the whole carrier in. I waited. After some time, they brought my cat back with her kitten and said she could not be treated because she lashed out.I have no idea what happened in that exam room, because this is completely out of character for my cat. The vet prescribed her with GABAPENTIN, a feline sedative, and told me to bring her back in later. PROBLEM 3: THIS IS THE BIGGEST ISSUE. Gabapentin is not recommended for cats that are NURSING. In fact, she should not have been vaccinated at all until the kitten was weaned. This was an unacceptable oversight. When I brought my cat home, she was traumatized. She started to to bang her head against the garden wall, yowled, and paced. I could not touch her for the next two days. I have no idea what happened in that exam room, but clearly, something alarming happened.Later that week, I brought my second cat to a different local hospital which is accredited with the AAHA. This was an entirely different experience. My second cat, despite being more skittish than the one I brought into WLAH, was swaddled professionally, evaluated in front of me, and sent home with a bill of $209, a free sample of the Revolution One Parasite Protection (which is $30/month) and a referral to get spayed at a lost-cost rescue clinic. When I left, the doctor told me to bring in a stool sample at my leisure for a fecal exam. Even before I came in, the receptionist gave me a ballpark estimate of how much it would cost and gave me some idea of what my experience would be like in their hospital. I could handle my cat, if need be, and be present with her. The whole team was phenomenal and accomodated me at 7:30 in the morning.I would not recommend Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital to anyone that loves their pet, which Im sure is everyone. The doctor I had was Dr. Donelly, and I only know this because her name was on the Gabapentin bottle.
Super friendly staff. Everyone acted like they were excited to see our furbabies, which helped ease my anxiety since this was their first vet visit. Dr. Donnelly is lovely. She is very informative and explained everything in detail and gave me the chance to ask questions. She even gave them prizes for being well behaved ❤️ Raegan was very detailed and informative too. She was a pleasure to work with. We are happy with our experience and highly recommend this office
The staff and veterinarians are thorough and professional. We love Dr. Lewandowski.
Very considerate and took their time working with my dog, even though she was very scared and in pain. Would highly recommend for their patience.
I’ve taken my 13 year old kitty and my 3 month old puppy to Dr. Donnelly, and she has gone above and beyond to make sure my babies are taken care of. She always asks to make sure that I’m comfortable with something before she does anything, and always wants the best care. Even if I move, I will be returning to Dr. Donnelly for the foreseeable future. She is so kind and warm and you can tell she really cares for the animals in her care. Highly recommend her and the other vets in this clinic.
My dog is a hot mess and since moving to Orlando this is the place I go. When her allergies act up they are there. When she gets a skin infection from the allergies they are there. Now she has an ear infection and they are there. Even when I have her go to whoever is available they always take great care. When I call with questions they answer. They also have a drive through so I can call in her flea meds and pick em up through the window. All around awesome people and service. Highly recommend.
We use to use Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital when we had our other dog and really liked them. When we got our new puppy Mr. Pickles we brought him here. I love the precautions they are taking for COVID, and the staff there are so nice. Our first appointment went great!
We have taken our pup here since we got her. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful in answering any of our questions/concerns. If you are questioning whether to bring your pet in or you’re not sure if something should be addressed, they’ll talk with you over the phone to help you determine what’s best. We highly recommend!!
First time visit impression was very positive. The entire team was kind, supportive and respectful of my budget.
Great service! It was a great first experience.
This was my very first doctors appointment as an adult, so Im kinda lost on all of the formalities and the procedures, but the staff were all very nice and informative; they worked with me on my budget which was a life saver; Definitely earns that 5 stars, and then some. Im ruined for other veterinary places. 👍
Weve been bringing our two loved ones there for over 15 years and not once did we have a bad experience. Staff and doctors are awesome and caring. The place is always clean looking! We couldnt think of going anywhere else. Once we went to 2 other Vets and I was turned off by the place and staff. Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital its the best!
Ive been taking my dogs to WLAH for a few years now. My dogs are very well taken care of from the welcome message on the board to the affection and thorough checks they receive. From my experience, they do not add unnecessary procedures. Highly recommend them. We see Dr. Reinhardt. Also, their COVID precautions are pretty great. Curbside service with a detailed call with the doctor after they check out the dog.
Overall excellent experience as always. I have been bringing my dogs there for 16 years. The combination of great receptionists and a fantastic vet in Dr. Donnelly means that I look forward to returning back there with confidence.
I was nervous about not being able to accompany my puppy to his appointment due to the COVID restrictions currently in place, however, the staff on the phone as well as those coming out to collect my dog were very reassuring. My dog went with the staff member happily both times that I have been there. The vet called me as she was examining my dog and we talked about all that was going on. A few days after our initial appointment, they called to follow up on how my puppy was feeling after getting his shots. All my interactions with this office have been positive.
It was my first time bringing my own puppy here but we’ve been bringing our family dog here from when I was a child up until we had to put him down. They are very caring & are always willing to listen/help as much as possible!Update - I’ve realized that every time I come, they take about 30 minutes past my appointment time to come get my dog. Then an additional 30-40 minutes to even call me back to speak about my dog. Then 10 minutes to just bring her back out to me. I try & make sense of it but I can’t cause typically at the times that I come, there’s about 2-3 cars including mine in the parking lot. This is so frustrating especially when you have to clock out for work & make it back to work expecting that you will be in at the time your appointment is scheduled. Never works like that
The office staff and techs are alway kind and knowledgeable. The vets explain things well. They have been there for us with some really rough decisions and with the routine care of our pets. I am not lowering my score for this, but I would like to understand their Covid policy. I am a nurse. Even in the hospital we have two visitors with patients as long as they wear masks. For most of us, our pets feel like our children. I feel like Im doing something wrong in handing my fur child off on every visit this past year. I wouldnt ask you to hand your baby over to me and not be able to watch my exam and ask questions.
Took my new puppy Bella for her first appointment and it went wonderful. There was great communication and the vet explained everything. There was even follow up calls to see how the puppy was doing. Highly recommended!
Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital has taken wonderful care of our 2 medium-sized pups for 10 years now. Great staff and provided care.
Had an appointment for my dog on a Monday but the Saturday before that she wasn’t doing too good so they told me I could bring her in as a walk in. Within 15 min of getting there we were attended to and the appointment went pretty quickly. Dr. Blake was very professional and thorough about my dogs lab work and a good solution for her issue. They took great care of my dog.
One of the reasons I like this hospital is the smiling docs and vet techs. They actively listen, they care, and they are gentle with my cats.
After calling and not being able to get into our primary vet for a concern, we called several other offices. This was the only place that made room for us despite also being fully booked for the day. The curb side policy was easy enough and they made me feel calm and comfortable with how my pup was feeling. The only down side was how pricey they are.
I’ve been at this vet since I got my cat a year ago, it’s a little pricey but worth it and most vets are! Dr. Lewandowski is the only doctor I trust my cat with. She’s very kind, attentive and patient when I’ve bombarded her with a million questions & worries. I’m never concerned about curbside appointments when I book with her- I know she’ll give the best care possible. She always call to discuss what’s happening while the appointment is going on and do a follow up call a few days later.I’ve even called to talk to a vet tech when my cat swallowed plastic and they were very attentive in telling me what signs to look out for and putting my mind at ease as a first time pet mom! I’ve boarded here as well and they took very good care of my cat as she has a special diet and medicine. 100% recommend for anyone in the area.
Pleasant, caring staff who explained everything thoroughly.
My only complaint is that the doctor that saw my pet isnt a mainstay at this location. I guess they are a floater for the area. If I could give more than five stars, I would!
I recently adopted a puppy and brought her for her first vet visit. It was curbside service which I believe led to better customer service and less stress on the animals. The doctor spoke to me over the phone about what shots were given and it was like I was in the office receiving the information. It was handled professionally, efficiently, and with good customer service.
I love Dr. Blake. He is caring and never makes you feel rushed. But, most importantly, he is so knowledgeable and has many years of experience. He explains everything in great detail and takes the time to listen and answer all of my questions. As with most pet owners, my dog is EXTREMELY important to me and having a great veterinarian who I can count upon to always do the right thing is my highest priority. He always calls me with test results the next day and he shows me the X-rays on the exam room computer as he explains his interpretation. Also, very important is the fact that WLAH makes sure that ALL X-rays are also read by a veterinary radiologist. To me, having faith in my dogs veterinarian is as important as having full trust in my own physician.
Because of what is going on in the world, mine & Finn’s visit was curbside/over the phone. It took about 10 minutes for a tech to come out to my car and grab him and maybe about another 15 for the doctor to call me with how the exam went. Everyone was very nice & really listened to what i was trying to explain to the best of my ability. Would definitely recommend!
Very good visit with my cat, Annie. Good animal hospital if youre looking for one.
I love that everyone that works here truly cares about your furbaby. I recently had to put down my dachshund, which was the hardest thing in the world and everyone was so caring and loving. They gave my dog treats and showed her so much love. I have two other dogs and they always take such great care of them as well. I would highly recommend going to them. They have an excellent staff and excellent doctors.
Best Veterinarians and staff ever. When you can trust someone with an animal that rescues you when you think you’re rescuing them that’s a lot of trust. Sometimes I have difficulty getting through to the “renew pet prescription” line but staff is pretty much one on one with pets so I know they’re slammed. I just make sure to call a few days before. Normally prescription is same day ready.Always very clear on details on my pets visit afterward. Pet portal and email invoice available. I’ve never felt like I was charged for more than I received.Open at 7:30 am which is great for a working person.
Our doggy who has high anxiety and a skin condition went here for the first time. Not only did the doctors and technicians handle her with care, but they listened to us-her care-givers, and what we had to say about all the things weve tried to help. They gave her appropriate testing and we seem to be on the solid road to recovery. What was most satisfying was how happy my dog was when she was on the way home and at home now. I look forward to the follow up visit- and I think our doggy does too!
I love this Vets office. They are so professional and extremely attentive. Everyone I have dealt with is very nice and I feel that they really care about my pet, her health and providing us with the best service... even during this pandemic where we as pet owners, cannot attend the exams, they still do not scrimp on the customer service. I get a call during the exam to go over everything and the Vet is always willing to take the time to answer all my questions. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants the best care for their furry babies.
They are always responsive to my dogs needs. They are all very compassionate, caring and professional. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I have been using them for over 4 years and they are just the best.
Dr. Donnelly is the worst vet we have ever met. She charged me for something that only got worse a week later. We are not happy and I don’t recommend her.
Had an excellent experience. I was able to get a quick appointment for my dog, and received quick service when I arrived.
Our special Doggie was cared for recently by Dr. Donnelly. She was caring and answered all my questions concerning his care in detail..Would definitely recommend Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital for any pet needs.
Arrived early and was taken care of right away. Lucy Lou was seen by lab tech. and easy transaction to pay over the phone. Friendly assistant.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. If I could give less than one star I would. My dog passed away due to the lack of care or urgency from this place. I am completely floored as we have used Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital for the last 6 years my dog was alive and never had issues with Dr. Reinheart. And I am still in complete disbelief at the total neglect my dog received at this place that caused his life.I had called in the morning to have him seen as he was vomiting the night before. They were able to get me in around 8am, and by 12pm I got a call from Dr. Maria Donnelly telling me the exact diagnosis (something trapped in his stomach and small intestines) and they are unable to operate, but not to worry as this matter was not urgent. Not being a doctor and hearing what she said, I even felt as though this was urgent. She informed me she would try to contact facilities in Tampa and Gainesville (very confused as to why anyone would go all the way out there when there are emergency facilities that operate 24/7 within the area).Alas, they told me no one was available at any facility to take my dog and dumped me at the emergency vet down the street. Not only did they give me my dog back at 6pm after informing me surgery wasnt urgent, he was now vomiting blood upon as soon as he was dropped off with me. The doctor didnt even have the decency to come out and speak with me after they had closed, but let a technician bring him out as if she could not be bothered by my dog and his condition. The ER claimed he has been in critical condition this whole time. They were able to operate but it was too late. He passed away after his operation.WHY would Dr. Maria Donnelly tell me its not urgent, take money for leaving him there all day without the care he NEEDED and insist on telling me theres no urgency?Ive been trying to contact the facility leaders and no one is getting back to me. More than likely I will have to take higher action as this is absolutely unacceptable and NO DOG OWNER should ever have to endure what I went though. I left my dog to what I thought was the care of a competent doctor. He had just turned 6 years old in February and from what Waterford lakes animal hospital always told me (even after his checkup in January), he was healthy all around. This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. DO NOT make the same mistake I did!
I would highly recommend Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital. I been using them for over 10 years. When I first moved to Florida one of my dogs (German Shepherd) was considered vicious but WLAH had no issues. They handle big dogs very well. The doctors here are very good with my dogs. They listen to concerns and make recommendations, but dont push. They allow you to keep the same doctor if you choose. We also use them to board our animals. Make sure you reserve early. I have recommended WLAH to friends and co-workers. When I had to put down one of my dogs they were very sympathetic, and even sent a card. The only negative thing is we lose the blankets that we take in during boarding, but thats on us for not remembering to pick them up.
I brought my dog Ardy and they were amazing. My old boy is super anxious and usually has a very hard time but he seemed at ease when he came back. Thank you so much to Dr Donelly she gave me all the treatment options and he was feeling better within days. Thanks to the tech and staff at Waterford lakes animal hospital!
I’ve been taking my Shepherd there for five years and would never change! Great communication, staff is very caring and attentive, the vet is top notch. I highly recommend them!!!
Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital is amazing! The staff is just so kind to your little babies. I had an emergency with my 18 yr Chinese Crested, he was accidentally fed onions! They were so sweet to him and he is doing wonderful now. They would call throughout the day to provide updates. You could see that they loved him. Now our little blind Japanese Chin has a double ear infection. The tech, i wish I knew her name, just fell in love with our little guy and was so gentle with him. I will never go anywhere else for our babies care. Now if they only had an aviary vet on site for our little love bird!
There are few words to describe how amazing the Vets and the staff are ! They care, they are compassionate and so supportive ! Any Vet can care for a healthy furbaby, but its the true Value of an exceptional vet when your baby is sick .Key 1, they Listen ! your babies cant talk but they listen to the ones who know the pets best ! I wouldnt go elsewhere !
We were traveling to Mt.Dora for Dr. Rik to treat our pets. He relocated to Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital and we could not be happier.
UPDATE!!!!! 11-23-20The eye of my dog was already treated by another vet and she got better but now due to the vet at Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital not taking care of that on time she is getting blind on that eye. I am currently seeking legal counseling10-20-20I took my dog for 3 issues, 1 of them they told me to not worry about because is not that important which was a mass on her left eye, well now is bigger and bleeding. I will take her again to the vet but you can be 100% sure not Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital.
They were so wonderfully kind and quick to respond. Theyre check in process was quick and safe. I loved that they called back days later to check up on our pup.
Call to ask for information the desk lady seemed rude. Didn’t want to give any information prices or details and was rude about me asking!
With all the covid-19 precautions, our appointment was at 3pm, we checked in at that time via cell. I was asked questions regarding what was going on with our pet and then we waited another 20 minutes until a tech came out to get our pet. At that time, I waited until the doctor called to follow up on the information that I gave earlier. The communication was great and the billing was right over the phone as well - that could have been via email billing also but all good. Everyone was very professional. We love our vet! Thank you all for your professionalism during this time.
Excellent communication, kept me updated every step of the way. very thorough in their examination and treatments. will definitely be continuing to use them as my kittens vet.
We have been taking our dogs to this facility for several years without any incidents. For that reason, we decided to board our dogs with them, for a week, while we took a trip out of town. All the dogs had their examinations/required vaccinations there prior to dropping them off. Halfway through our trip, we get a call from their office saying that one of our 4 dogs has a problem with one of his eyes. We approved the examination and treatment. Upon our return to pick them, 3 out of the 4 dogs had issues. Besides the eye on the one, another had a filthy ear, and another had diarrhea. The eye issue developed into an ulcer which required surgery a week later to have it removed at our expense (over a $1000). Since all of this occurred during the time that they had care, custody, and control of our dogs, the least they could have done is pick up the tab instead of sticking it to us on top of all the money we already spent with them. We take very good care of our pets and it is a HUGE disappointment that it came to this. Needless to say, we are looking for a new veterinarian. Attached are a few photos.
Prices are reasonable and they take good care of my little dog. They clip her nails when she has a check up which is a wonderful bonus!
My new puppy was diagnosed with pneumonia from an Emergency Vet and was told to visit my usual vet for a follow up the next day. Although the appointments were all full, they made time to see my puppy & give her the help she needed! PLUS they go out of their way to help/cater to my other dogs fear of men! The staff are incredibly professional, friendly & are just outright amazing. Couldn’t ask for a better animal hospital!!
I showed up with our sick dog first thing on a Monday morning with no appointment. The staff worked her in as quickly as possible. Dr Reinhardt and the other staff are great! Super caring and professional! We’ve always been pleased there.
As always, our vet visit here for our dog, Dixie, was a pleasure. Even with new procedures in place due to Covid, everything went smoothly and we were totally aware of everything that took place during the appointment. We now see Dr L as we originally started years ago with Dr Hutchinson. Dr L is a true professional and so nice to deal with. 5 stars for sure!
Great service. Dealing with the team was so seamless, it was like dealing with one person. Theyre caring and clearly passionate about pet care.
I dont know why I didnt switch to this vet sooner! Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and the veterinarians Ive met have always taken the time to answer all of my questions! In total, Ive been here about 4-5 times, and theyve solved our pets problem each time (which I cant say about other vets Ive been to)! Also, their vaccines are much more affordable than other offices Ive been to!
Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital has had the care of several cats for me. They are always wonderful. The new curbside service took a little getting used to, but I know that my cats will have excellent care inside. Dr. Maria Donnelly is the best.
