The veterinarian was extremely knowledgeable and understanding. You can tell she cares about what she does and the staff over here are nice as well. Do not worry about pricing, this place is very affordable. I paid almost a $1000 at another vet for just my dog who was vomiting blood at the time. That vet didnt even know what was wrong with my dog. I come here and she knows whats up and gave me medication that the other vet was supposed to. I didnt even pay $250 and I brought my cat in aswell. I highly recommend coming here dont be deterred by the outside, the service here is the absolute best.

Super friendly staff! the doctor herself is very knowledgeable and patient with explaining future procedures and best action to take. The facility is super clean and very relaxed I wish I had taken my pet here sooner, Previously I was taking her to the Semoran location where it would be super packed and the doctor would barely show or make the effort to connect with patients.. Overbook appointments so you end up waiting approximately an hour after your scheduled appointments. I have been going there for over a year. Before COVID it was much better but you’re outside waiting an hour in the sun to be called. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

We love our dog Rocky! Hes not just a pet, hes absolutely a family member! Hes been part of our family for over 15 years! As a natural progression of life hes getting older and was not feeling well! We rushed him to the Emergency Veterinary Hospital close by and the care was only average. As a family you could see our heart felt concern and worry! All they cared about was the estimate of over $800.00 just to run a blood test and x-ray! We had faith and paid for the visit and a pain shot which exceeded over $200.00! We went to his regular Pet doc the next morning! Which is Obt-Orange Ave Pet Doc Hospital! We have been going there for years! Not only were they informative with what was going on with Rocky the Doctor rubbed my back as I wept! The news wasnt the greatest! However the treatment bill was a little costly, but way less then the other place. I humbly asked for a small discount, because we just spent money last night at the Veterinary emergency room! They did the best they could with the price point! That helped us out so much! I just wanted to say their compassionate and customer service went above and beyond! We are still processing the diagnosis, but that love and concern from the entire staff meant everything! This is the place to go for Sure! Thank you very much!!! There is still humanity in the world!

Talks very nicely but gave me expired medication that I think killed my dog and then said it wasnt her fault. I did pay for a physical exam that day. My dog was normal prior to the visit for a rabies vaccine.She did offer an autopsy with her friend and stated that I might never get a answer to the etiology. In my opinion DONT GO THERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET. I loved mine and wish I had not gone and for speaking out all I have gotten is a legal response that seems threatening to me, like the one below. Makes me wonder if that is how they keep their reviews at a high star rating.

Dr Atkinson is an amazing, intelligent and compassionate vet. She has cared for my animals for a few years and I trust her completely in the care of my 3 fur babies. She is always spot on with the diagnosis and prescribing appropriate treatment while keeping cost in mind. I would not take my dogs to anyone else. Her staff is also very caring and compassionate, their response to your needs always exceeds expectations.

WHY?? COMPLAIN SHES A CARING DOC never ever had a problem.She always handle my issues, you need to speak to be heard.....you need to ask to be taking care of. If you dont how would doc know and about the building outside how it looks what does it has to do with taking your dog for care HELLO THE BUILDING is not going check your dog is Ms. Atkinson is going check him/her. The level of service and professionalism is what drove me to give them a 5 star. The ladies at the front desk and Dr. Atkinson are very caring. Dr. Atkinson is very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. I highly recommend them.

This place is a rip-off. How can you charge so much for something as simple as cutting a pets nail. This is the worst place to take your pet to. If I already know what’s wrong with my pet why do you have to do an examination and if you going to charge $$$ in the amount you did for one nail you could of at least cut the rest of his nails. Rip-off I WILL NOT Be taking my pet here ever.

Dr. Atkinson went above and beyond to take care of my fur baby! My dog walked into the clinic feeling very sick and not herself, now she’s doing better than ever thanks to this wonderful clinic!

The most careless people work here. I had an exam and some test done on my fur baby. After two week they said they would call me back in regards to the test results. After two weeks I received no call, so I called them and they told me the result were not in yet. Ok thats fine I understand, I called a few days again and was told that they finally had them but that the doctor would call me back. I waited a few days and at this time it was already three weeks since I had done the exam and still had no idea what the results were. During which time my dogs skin was getting worse. I ended up calling back again and was told that the doctor was busy and that I would soon get a phone call. Three days went by and I had not heard from the doctor or any of the staff. By now its was four weeks since the test were done and almost two weeks since they received the test results. After a few days I called again and was furious and was finally able to get the hear the results, by which time my baby had began to lose more hair and had more rashes, and had turned out he had a serious skin infection. After hearing the results, they told me to stop by and get the medication that he needed. That was the last time I step foot in that place. They have no sense of urgency, they do not call you back when they promise, and they lack compassion for pet owners and pets. I have now found a better vet office that goes above and beyond than this place ever did and that gives my baby the attention they need and the reassurance that pet owners deserve. If I could I would give this place no stars, because in my most honest opinion puting my dogs health in their hands was the worst mistake I could ever have done.

HORRIBLE CLINIC! BEWARE! One, the doctor is extremely rude! No sympathy for anyone. The tech was very sweet. I think her name was Melissa. The receptionists are rude. Didn’t show me any kind of respect while I was present. And the manager is nasty! Horrible place. I’ll make sure no one ever brings their pets here again!

From having personal insight from the inside, I am shocked that this clinic is even still up and running. Tamika Atkinson Makes her employees wash and reuse disposable equipment to save money. I believe because her business is failing right in front of her she has lost her real passion for animals. She would rather take a client she knows she can’t help for the money, rather then send them to the right place to save the animals life. If you want honesty you’re better off paying a little bit less somewhere else and making sure your animal is in good hands. The techs work very hard and are great techs but with a corrupt manager who doesn’t know what she’s doing and a corrupt doctor it’s almost impossible to run a business! The staff is great and helpful but the doctor does not care!!! She left my puppy on the floor having seizures in the back and left out the back door while my wife was hysterical crying and waiting for her to come back out to help her get the puppy somewhere else that can help because it was closing time. My puppy passed away that day after rushing him to an emergency vet. It was too late

I came across this place as I needed to go to an affordable veterinarian with the stray kitten I found. I wasn’t sure if I was keeping him or not, so I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg. Turns out I was lucky enough find this incredible clinic - the staff here is so friendly, caring, and patient - I literally will never go to any other vet here in Orlando. And to top it off they don’t try to upsell you on anything. Thank you for all you do, clinics should model themselves after you guys!

Staff constantly changing therefore the customer service sucks! Dr Atkinson is amazing. She saved my dogs life and have been trying to be very loyal to her but the staff she surrounded her self with needs to be improved greatly! Its taken me 2 weeks and 7+ phone calls to get my pet meds re ordered and I still dont know if they were ordered or are in. They keep telling me to call back... if Im paying them, why arent they calling me back? Business 101! I will be changing vets after 5+ yrs of loyalty. Good luck to her and her new baby due in April.

I originally made an appointment for my 2 small dogs and wanted to add my 3rd one (as I’ve done before with no issues) receptionist/manager told me I couldn’t, which I’ve done before. After trying to work around with her with my schedule I was only able to get one dog seen. Once I got in the room, the veterinarian tech was sharing stories of other dogs and mentioned experiences she’s had with 3 dogs in the same room. This was a bit frustrating because I work 2 jobs and took the day off to make this appointment and hoping to add my 3rd one and all I got was a hard time trying to be worked around my schedule. Hearing otherwise made me feel as my needs weren’t as important as others. As a manager you work with your customers/patient to keep a good rep for your business and should make your customers feel as their needs were important, well mine wasn’t and that’s why I give the 2 stars.

Best Experience with a low cost clinic. I only paid $40 for an exam while others are charging over $70. They have their own blood work machines, so the doc knew what was wrong that day. They sent me home with medicine that they have in their Pharmacy. Talk about a one stop shop. They really took care of Tito. Thank you guys and girls so much. I will definitely be back.

My Experience was beyond GREAT! The facility is clean and staff is welcoming. My dog woke up limping I panicked and called they fit me in for an emergency visit. Everyone including the Vet was very gentle and empathetic with my Dog. The best part is I was mentally prepared to pay for X-rays but the Vet was able to immediately recognize her condition which ultimately was an arthritis flare up. So this place does not take advantage of scared animal parents who can be potentially vulnerable. I am very thankful and my dog finished her anti inflammatory meds and is felling much better Thank You !

I had taken my rabbit here a couple of days ago to spay her. They did such a wonderful job and my little girls stitches were made so well, she still has no clue that theyre there! The doctor took such caution and did an amazing job. I recommend coming here for the people who want to spay/neuter their rabbits!

I take my dog who is a large, very protective German Shepherd here and I’ve never had anything but a good experience. I’ve had two different vets work with me and both did a good job. It’s not a fancy place but they do great with my difficult dog and always tell you prices up front and nothing routine is outrageous (thankfully she’s always been pretty healthy) and they don’t try to get you to do anything superfluous. I’ve always wanted my dog to have the best care possible, but unfortunately often times vets are very very expensive. This place is wonderful, affordable, up front with pricing and always has patience and understanding while dealing with my 90lb German Shepherd who has to be muzzled during appts and the staff has always been kind, caring and professional.

Dr. Atkinson is beyond amazing! She by far the best vet😊Highly recommend her, her staff is very knowledgeable and patient regardless of how busy they are.

She fixed our female dog and has seen all of our cats over the years for everything from vaccines to surgery. Her team is also very helpful and committed to helping animals. Their services are very affordable as well.

No coordination, my appointment was for 10:15 its 11am and they tell me they have to take people before me that my wait would be another 2 hrs.I asked to reschedule the appointment and they tried charging me the visit fee anyways.

Great customer service, came in without an appointment, doc n staff were very responsive and diagnosis was quick. Restroom was clean and so was rest of facility. Very affordable and $5 shots are a relief. I just found my new Vet!

One of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had at a vet. I went here because they were supposed to be discount (which I’ve found much better vets with comparable prices) and this “discount” is truly just not worth it. Most of the front desk workers are incredibly short and rude with customers and offer little help. Everytime I’ve made an appointment there, they do not honor the appointment time and I’ve always waited a MINIMUM of an hour to be seen. Even with an appointment. They just take your name and put you on the waiting list. And honestly, aside from probably 3 of the staff members, all of the workers have been rude and condescending. Save your time and money, there are much better and affordable health care options for your pet.

Please do not take your dog to this veterinarian establishment. They Killed my dog over a weekend by not providing him the care and services I was forced to pay. Look into a licensed vet and assure they are actual vets and a legitimate establishment ( every state has a website you can check the vet out). This establishment claims to be a hospital but they are not even close. They left my baby boy chewy to die overnight and over medicated him. Chewy went in for something he ate and was not agreeing with him next thing I know he died due to the vets negligence of not caring for him.

The people are very kind and knowledgeable, which is important and appreciated. However, it’s been 2+ months since we took our puppy in for his rabies shot, and they still haven’t given us the red collar tag. They were out and said they’d mail it in December, still nothing. Cheap shots are helpful to our dog’s health, and his health is the most important factor, but not being able to prove he has this shot in the event of an incident is frustrating. I’m making the potentially unnecessary assumption that this is a reflection of their operations as a whole, and it’s a red flag to me. We’ll be looking for a different pet care provider once we get the tag.

ZERO STARS!!!!!!! If your pet is really sick please do not bring your pet here.. They do not perform a full check up like other animal hospitals. I went there because i felt like my dog had a problem with his ears and the vet told me that hes fine. A couple weeks later, I had to go to the Dr. Phillips animal hospital to find out my dog has kennel cough and a ear infection. This place is a waste of time and money. They did not help my dog feel better at all. they didnt even take look in his ears. i would give this place ZERO STARS if i could.

Place is cheap but they are all about money, went in for rabies shot which was 5 bucks decided to do all of my dogs shot which went up to 60 bucks. Asked vet question about my dog she wouldnt answer any questions unless we made it a visit that would make the price go up another 50 bucks. But vet was completely fine with getting mine and my wifes option on her new born baby. Wont go there again, place is dirty also.

Great rates. The doctor is very sweet and caring. Been going there for 5yrs, now. Customer service is great by all of the employees. It does get very busy at times, though, so be sure to make an appt and get there on time. Never had to wait longer than 20mins to see the doctor and I love her! Also online states no need to see the vet for rabies shots, BUT when I wanted a Wednesday appointment, The vet is not in on Wednesday to do rabies shots! OMG how disorganized and stupid are is their office! So unprofessional, I had an emergency one morning but because they would not turn their phone on, on time, they lost over $100.00 of business. Now they lost my rabies shot business, the office manager needs to look at their way of handling this business! I will never call or go there again!!! Avoid this place at all times. Pine Castle Animal Hospital if very nice & very professional. Dr. Basso at the PCAH was super nice and knew exactly what to do for my baby.

I just want to write a quick review of Dr. Atkinson, and her staff at OBT-Orange Ave Pet Doc Hospital. I had first visited this office about 7-years ago when my senior kitty of 18 yrs started to slow down, and Dr. Atkinson had alerted me that she was starting to shut down, as her eyes were getting yellow, and she just wasn’t concerned with her cleanliness. I had to start to make that terrible decision, and again consulted the Doctor of what to do, and we had decided that it was her time. Let me tell you I had the best, and most compassionate Doctor in Dr. Atkinson, and her staff on such a terrible and emotional time. I just can’t say enough about that time. I didn’t get another pet until many years later, and inherited my daughter’s mini schnauzer Smokey. He will be 3-years old tomorrow 1/4/19, and again Dr. Atkinson welcomed me with open arms, and has been treating him since he was 14 month. I first brought my new puppy bc there prices are AMAZING! While there i spoke to my vet tech Jamie n Dr. Atkinson about my cat that needed surgery (told by another vet) well when i brought my cat there doc did more xrays n realized my cat didnt need surgery and saved me a ton. The prices are low here but for a reason. I called a day before and Scheduled an appointment for the following day with the receptionist. Had to take time Out of my schedule to bring my dog and when I get here they say I didn’t have an appointment. Then she tells me the doctor is out because of an emergency this place lacks organization You’re better off paying a little more and getting better service somewhere else.

I went to this hospital the past Saturday, I was just asking for shots prices and the receptionist Melania was so nice and helpful she gave me an appointment without any problem and offer me the prices that would be better for my pet, I just decided that this veterinary hospital will be my new primary hospital for my little one, thank you so much melania for your help and kindness with my pet.

Poor management, loose track of what dog needs, set appt for 0800 and no one shows until 0845, put dog on medication but did not enter in record and when traveling could not refill prescription, get slammed with very high prices and numerous add ons, never get out of there under $100. Facility is dirty both inside and outside. Vet seems kind and caring but really this is like a puppy mill only it is for pets.

On wednesday april 3 my daughter brought to this clinic my dog boomer who suffer kidney stones and hes in very difficult conditions to pee and poo due to this illness! The doctor who is in who is the subtitube of the doctor in this clinic did not really care about my dog situation as my daughter spend more than 2 hours showing him the xrays and lab results which she bring from another clinic and he did not even check our dog that day! The lady in front amber offer my daughter a surgery for my dog on april 10 2019 at 9 am and when my daughter show the same doctor complain that nobody told him about the surgery and that he dont do those kind of surgeries ! He was very uncompasion and he told my daughter that my dog have to wait until the doctor came back from maternity leave by the end of may! I call amber and the only excuse she gave was that she did not know the doctor which supposed to come was out of town but she will call her to schedule an appointment inmediately to get my dog the surgery he really need to when i call her back on friday once again another excuse and told me the doctor cant do any surgery as she can not stand for long period of time due to her maternity! While i understand that situation this office staff is very unprofessional! My dog now keep suffering every day with his condition and they did not really care at all to least find a doctor who can assist and do this surgery for at least for a closer price they offer to me ! If something happen to my dog they will be liable as i have the card amber gave me with the appt day and time! Terrible service!

The receptionists do not explain anything, theirs is to charge very poor attention I do not recommend it if they want their pets think about it before going to that place.

I went to this clinic because my puppy had cherry eyes and the doctor and her employees were very friendly. The doctor speaks a little Spanish and thanks to that I found it easy to communicate with her, she also has employees who speak Spanish. I ended up doing surgery to remove the cherry and the doctor and her team did an excellent job and the eyes are excellent. I recommend them.
