24 seven animal Hospital a Orlando did an awesome job with our puppy Violet. Violet had a major gash on her paw. She was bleeding quite a bit. Dr. Hassan was great with her. She wasn’t afraid and He was gentle. They took us back right away and with in the half hour she was taken care of. I am so grateful we came to this clinic.
We had a great experience today at 24/7 animal clinic. The service was fast. Staff are friendly and very informative. They always take care of our Milo very well with every visit! I highly recommend!!
Everyone here is amazing. The nurses and doctor are extremely friendly! They made me and my pets feel right at home. They have taken very good care of my 3 cats for the last 2 years.. I highly recommend them!
It took me months to be able to post this, but this place is awful. The vet techs and assistants are the only thing keeping this place alive, and they should bring their talent somewhere else. However, the vet was completely heartless. I knew when I came in, I had to put my pup down because she had been sick for months but the way he handled it all was absolutely unprofessional - we had an emergency and there was no other client in but me, and I still had to wait 15-30 min in the exam room with my dying dog while I overheard the vet talking about football on the phone. On top of that, he didn’t even try to check my dog at all, didn’t ask for exams or anything. I knew my dog was sick and it was time to let her go since her main vet said it but you’d expect a different vet would at least ask her what she has before accepting to put a dog down.Be careful with this place, and if you have another option, just go somewhere else. His services are overly expensive and he will not show empathy for you or your pet during hard times.
Such a great and friendly place! i got the chance to see my lil girl get a nail trim and they were so caring and patient! 100% will come back
Very kind to the process, both for making appointments, and for getting your vaccination! Thank you very much 😊
We had to euthanize our 15 y/o dog which was the hardest thing our family had to do, but he was sick for 3 weeks and not getting better. The medical staff exceeded my expectations. Their service was professional, quick and so compassionate. Their teamwork and expertise made us comfortable at such a difficult time. This experience made saying goodbye to our dog so much more peaceful. Thank you so much, I can’t thank you enough for your service and compassion. It meant the world to us.
This is the nicest hospital that we have been too in a while! The staff, the place, and the service all together are very nice, the best part is that they are opened 24/7. I would definitely recommend this place
Amazing services!!!! My golden retriever feels the love in the 24/7 clinic. Thank you!!
Terrible customer service, weve been going for the last 6 months. My most recent visit was a 2 hours long wait. We were waiting for a consult on neutering. We were very nervous and needed to be educated. Vet has always been prompt but on this day I was treated horribly. 4 customers who came after me were seen. I had an established appointment and we are long time patients. Staff acted as though we were a burden. The preop exam consisted of his mouth and teeth being checked. What did that have to do with his testicles? Looking for a new vet...needless to say.
Took amazing care of our dog. I’m more than satisfied with the service. They keep me updated with everything that was going on. Our dog stay in the hospital for one week. I’m beyond grateful. Thank you Dr. Hassan and your staff.
UPDATE: Due to the rude response from the owner, Ive taken away the 2nd star. Maybe they should teach their staff to properly respond to an inquiry about whether one can come any time for a health certificate, as opposed to being offended when someone was told wrong info, and wants to review about it. If a company cannot take criticism, that says even more about them. By the way, their name does not indicate they are only 24/7 for emergencies, and THEIR staff member told me I could come any time. For an EMERGENCY flight due to a death in the family...NOT lack of preparedness. But thanks to the owner for his/her rude response. Now I KNOW I will encourage people to find their animals medical needs elsewhere.NOT 24/7.I called to ask if I could come in any time. (I had to get my animal a health certificate) They said yes. We got there as soon as we could (1 am). Their vet had left for the evening and they were closed. Thank God it wasnt an emergency. NOT RELIABLE FOR THE 24/7 IN THEIR NAME.The only reason I gave an extra star is because they led me to the ACTUAL animal hospital that IS 24 hours. And the girl who answered was kind too.Otherwise...a waste of time.
I have taken my cat, Jackson here for both emergency reasons and for annual check ups. Both times the staff has been helpful and actually cares about my cat. Highly recommend coming here!
I had to take my puppy here after eating something that he was not supposed to. The entire process lacked communication. People would just take my dog and not tell me what they were doing or why. They gave him two injections and didnt tell me what they were or the purpose for them. I could see the doctor on a video call in the back the entire time. Finally when he was finished on the call and done talking to the other staff in the back he came into the room and said that puppy ate something he wasnt supposed to. He said that he didnt think surgery was needed. I tried to ask questions about the injections and other recommendations that the dr made but he went into the back before I had the chance. The receptionist tried to call for the Dr. afterword but she couldnt get a response from him either. The process was overall lacking in communication and has me looking for a second opinion. On top of that it was incredibly expensive! I spent nearly 500 and I have no idea what for really. That being said they do get two stars for being the only ER in my area that was open. I definitely would only go here as a last resort.
Staff was super nice and accommodating to me and my dogs emergency visit and got him seen and checked out quickly. I would recommend this place to all of my friends looking for a vet.
We went to 24/7 Animal Hospital to urgently put our 10.5 years old Pomeranian dog to sleep. Our baby had lost her battle with lung cancer and had a near death suffocation episode an hour before we brought her in. Doctor was very nice and pleasant and our girl was able to be in my arms when she passed without pain. My only complaint was about a doctor’s assistant with lots of tattoos on her arms and blonde hair. She seemed to be very unsympathetic to our tragedy. She kinda rushed me out of the room and then she was laughing about something personal while we were checking out at the reception desk. I wish she was more sensitive to people who just had to go through such trauma. All I have to say is that if you have seen a lot of euthanized animals, just be sensitive to people who haven’t. Reception girl was great and very nice. To everyone who complaints about cost here: simply ask for price for everything upfront. I had no surprises with cost because I got my total when I called.
Today our coonhound cut her side-body area, somehow in our backyard. She had a large gaping wound in her rib area. Being a Saturday afternoon, I frantically searched for a vet to find that nothing was open. I was hesitant to go to 24/7 because of the google rating under 4 stars. We had no other choice, so we rushed her in. They sedated her, stitched her up, gave us antibiotics and we were in and out in 90 minutes. The staff was incredibly courteous, professional and caring. Our emergency vet bill was expensive, but totally worth the care our sweet girl received. Thank you 24/7 for being open always, caring and professional. You all are awesome!
My first visit with my 100lb dog was everything I’ve ever wanted with a walk-in visit to the vet. The techs notified me of all the services/prices prior to performing them & allowed me to be a part of the experience with my dog from start to finish. My dog had a severe ear infection and didn’t want to be touched, but Nicole & Dylan got the job done quickly and with lots of care...even went as far as easily picking up Jefferson which isn’t common for me to see day to day:PDr Hassan discussed the results of the blood/fecal work and got me the medication I needed and scheduled a follow-up. I felt relieved after a much overdue visit. Thank you so much!
I had to put down my 13 yr old baby girl down due to heart failure. She has been feeling sick for a week and it was getting worse. my own vet couldn’t see till Monday… my dog would’ve been suffering worse by then. Sadly there was no 24/7 pet hospital in kissimmee but luckily i found this one in orlando. it was a bit far but i needed to go. The workers were so nice and sweet, before i came i did research of what’s wrong with my dog and came up with heart failure due to her symptoms. i wanted to hear the dr on what his diagnosis would be and he said heart failure due to fluid in her lungs and her heartbeat was too rapid as i predicted. medications would’ve been tooo much money and she’d be suffering even more so i had to make the difficult decision to sleep. it was the WORST feeling ever to experience my baby girl gone but i know she isn’t suffering. i appreciate the staff giving me as much time with her to say goodbye. i cant wait to receive her ashes and bring her back home where she belongs.
I love this office and that goes for everybody that works there. They all were very good with Communicating with me and my girlfriends. They could’ve just tried to get my money but they didn’t care for the money at that moment. Then worst case scenario they were willing to work with me on payment if I didn’t have then. NOW YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT BAD SEVICE GO TO Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Central FL by Waterford lakes the worst service ever and they didn’t care about my dog. They was going to let my dog die off I didn’t have the money.
We took our Labrador Retriever to the here because she had a very bad ear infection. It was on a Sunday and our vet was closed. They were wonderful with her. They gave our baby lots of attention and we left with the appropriate medications. She felt better within 24 hours. In addition, two years ago, my parents also had a wonderful experience at this vet. They saved their French bulldogs life when she ingested some blood pressure medications from a guest that dropped the medication on the floor when staying in their home.
Friendly, comfortable environment, and extremely flexible. Great location for all types of pet services, including after hours emergencies.
Its best to have your dog seen by their vet as soon as possible to find the true cause of the fever. Remember, dogs have fevers for a reason, so if you treat the cause, you stop the fever....Yet I take my fur baby here to a vet and they tell me she has a fever. “Why?” I ask. Them: “We don’t know, can’t tell you.”$200+ bill just to have to take her to another vet so they can actually help.I would say just skip this place. Little to no empathy and they are overpriced.P.s I really enjoyed how when I was trying to explain to the receptionist/ vet tech what was going on with my sick fur baby she started playing with the dog that hangs out in the clinic. Awesome service!
Dr. Hassan saved my three kittens! He was very quick and caring and the lady at the front desk went above and beyond. This is a great place do you take your loved one or any care.
My dog sliced her paw open at 8:45 pm; first time here, but Dr. Hassan and his staff were great.
Is the ONLY place in all of Orlando that receives doggy emergencies at any time without putting up obstacles, excuses or having to make appointments. an urgency is an urgency! I took my dog for a severe allergy and the same day after the medication the improvement was immediate. I am very grateful to dr. Hassan and his staff.
No wait, we were walked right into an exam room. Friendly staff. Made me feel very comfortable about my cats condition.
I took my dog here a couple weeks ago, they told me her diagnosis which was parvo. The doctor gave me two options the treatment which could be up to 2500 or put her down.. my dog over came parvo and she’s back like she never got sick. Don’t bring your dog here they’re money hungry, they didn’t even try to give me antibiotics or anything DONT COME
Wants to take legal action against a Facebook page or post. I give them one star for wanting to do that. Nothing other.
My disappointment is indescribable, I arrived with my dog breathing strangely and I was informed that they would do exams worth almost 1000 dollars to find out what she had. Suddenly I was called and informed that she had a heart failure, that her heart was big and there was fluid in her lungs. When I asked if there was treatment, the vet only knew how to tell me that it wouldnt do. He clearly wanted to put my baby to sleep without even trying. After a lot of despair and insisting we said that we wanted to give her a chance to be treated. He constantly discouraged us.24 hours after being hospitalized she reacted and came home, full of medication and with the vet once again saying that she would die at any moment. Honestly, I dont know if the problem was money or fear to be sued, but for Gods sake, its a living being trying to save your life should be your first choice. And I left there with no answer about what caused my dogs heart failure. And an account that ended in thousands of dollars.
I had to go to the clinic because my puppy had diarrhea and vomited when he arrived they took his temperature, weight and asked me why he was going and I told them the reason it was, then a nurse came and told me how much the Parvovirus exam was going to come out and that the price could vary, after that I asked the nurse how they were going to do Since I arrived they were only asking me about the money and how much I was determined to spend for me was disrespectful. They only think about how much money you can leave and they dont care about anything. The doctor was only 3 seconds to see me and it was disappointing
I am so thankful for everyone at 24/7 animal hospital. I had to bring my dog for an emergency. Everyone there was so helpful and comforting. During his procedure they updated me the whole time about my dog. The office was also so clean and organized. Again I am so thankful for everyone especially Dr. Hassan and Maria.
Quick service and very professional staff. They performed surgery on my cat, Jasper, and he is doing very well!
The staff are very friendly and caring to our puppy.
Unfortunately very expensive and very time consuming, not very true to the times they give. They did not even give my dog a cone so he wouldn’t be licking himself where he shouldn’t be. I understand veterinary care is expensive but it’s way too expensive
My daughter and I came across a dead momma kitty, 3 dead kitties and one left alive. I already knew how to care for an orphaned newborn so we bought replacement milk, etc. The next day babys eyes were swollen and I could only get one to drain. The other had gotten so big I brought him in. They were so amazing and the most caring vet and staff Ive seen in years! They truly are there for the well being of your animal. Thank you so much for helping this lil guys eye and his life. I dont know that hed have survived after that kind of infection without you. 🥰
I am very pleased with this place took my dog in for a flea treatment and they were able to get us in very quickly as a walk in. My dog got her flea treatment and we ended up getting her shots done as well all within 40 mins and they had a lot of appointments. Extremely affordable and the young lady at the front desk was very knowledgeable!
300 dollars for spaying 😳 pet alliance is way cheaper just pushed back 1 month out.
Went into pick up some Trifexis and Kay took care of me. She was fast, friendly, and had answers for all of my questions. Was in a bit of a rush so it was nice that I didn’t have to wait too long for any help! Great staff.
Vet ran bloodwork and took X-rays without consent. We made our appointment in advance as a regular office visit, it was not an emergency visit. We explained our cat was drinking all the time and we’re concerned he developed diabetes. Instead of giving us an option of running one test at a time, or even telling us what was going to happen, he just took our cat to the back and ran multiple tests and X-rays. The bill totaled over $600. When we disputed it, he said “You should’ve asked what tests I was doing”. We explained that we didn’t know he was going to run the tests or take X-rays, so we didn’t know to ask. He left the room in such a hurry we didn’t even have the opportunity to ask or understand what was going on anyway. We’ve been coming to this office a couple years for regular checkups and trusted him. He took advantage of our trust and deceived us. We paid $200 that night and asked to negotiate a lower price on the balance since we did not authorize the tests. Today I received letter that my account will be sent to collections. I contacted the office tonight to try one more time to come to a mutual agreement, but I have not heard back yet. I’m willing to pay a portion of these unauthorized charges to avoid the headache of dealing with collections, filing a complaint to have a third party involved, and so on. After reading all these other reviews I doubt they’ll call me back as it appears my experience is all to common at this office.
I had a wonderful experience! Staff was friendly, helpful and professional! Glad I found a reliable veterinary clinic where I know my cat will be well taken care of! Thank you!
Took my old dog Macy there as she has been having digestive problems. Service was good doctor and staff were great.
So my little Lily (My cat, female) call an infection and I was really worried about her. But this place really helped me out, I was constantly calling with questions and they were always willing to answer my questions no matter how busy it was over there or what they were in the middle of. My little Lily never really gets sick, in all the years that I have had her, which is 12 years, she’s only been sick twice. This second time around was the worst though. I just wanted to leave a review and say thank you to all the doctors and nurses at this vet hospital. My Lilly is doing perfect now. Thank you everyone for everything you guys do over there. 🥰❤️PS: thank you for being a 24/7 Hospital, you never know when an animal gets really sick and you need ER help. I absolutely love that you guys are 24/7. ❤️
Place was great Dr. Hassan was a blessing to our pups when they were in need of help and so thankful to have been able to of had such great staff take care us with such kindness! Great hours. Great staff. Great hospital!
My baby Aria had her done on Saturday and she is in perfect health right now. The incision and stitches was so neatly done it blew my mind. Thank you all for the wonderful work done.
I never write reviews but my experience was so terrible that I thought I should warn other people.Never have I experienced such poor service from a medical establishment. Our dog was suffering from vestibular disease and desperately needed attention. When we called this hospital, the front desk staff was rude then HUNG UP THE PHONE ON US!Horrible customer service.Update: Have you ever had a vet stalk you online, record your phone conversations and threaten to sue you?If youre lucky, this hospital just might.
Not happy. Dropped off our puppy at 6:30 am and specifically asked when I would have to pick him up by. I was told I had until the following day by 6:30....a 24 hour period. Got back into town and called to verify the pick up info and was now told I had to pick him or incur a second charge. Will not recommend to friends. The person I dealt with at pick up was rude. Had to call today to find out the policy and was told the intake person was not clear in her explanation.
Our fur babies are treated wonderfully every time we come here. Thank you to Dr. Hassan and his staff for the great care over the years!
Dr. Hassan and his staff were professional and very friendly with our Beau when we brought him in to get checked out. They give you an estimate of any work needed to be done beforehand so you’re not surprised with a bill at the end of your visit, so just be sure to ask for that up front! Highly recommend bringing your furry friends here.
Had some skin issues with my pup and decided to have him checked out here, best decision I could have made. Dr Hassan quickly determined it was a diet issue ( too much grain in the dog food) and recommended a change to a grain-free food brand, his assistant Katie had a full list of substitutes and was very knowledgeable in regards to every question I had. The young woman up front Kay was very cheerful and was a joy to deal with as we were setting up mine & my pups info in their system to set up a health schedule for him. Going to the vet can be nerve racking but the entire staff here made the experience stress free, I highly recommend if anyone has pet issues give Dr Hassan and his staff a chance to help put your mind at ease like they did mine. It’s been 2 months now and my pups skin has never looked better, thank you 24/7 Animal Hospital!
We brought our puppy Trooper as an emergency, he was diagnosed with parvovirus. The staff was so careful with him and super patient with all of our questions and concerns. He had to stay hospitalized 2 nights and they let us stay and visit him as much as we wanted. We are really thankful to them they were really great.
Are cat developed a urinary blockage and the staff and Dr were quick to diagnose and treat. I highly recommend them if you need emergency treatment 24/7. Very polite and professional.
I had the best experience when I took my puppy to this office. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Ill definitely recommend Animal Hospital of Orlando to my friends and family!
We had a vaccine emergency when we were planning to board our dog at the Disney kennel. The night before our trip we discovered she was missing her Bordetella vaccine so we were scrambling around to find a solution. When I called to see if this Animal Hospital could help us out, they did not hesitate to make an early morning appointment so we would be able to keep our vacation plans. We got in and out very quickly, the staff was super friendly, and it was very affordable. Thank you so much!
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN LONG TIME AGO. MORE 1 STARS THAN 5 STARS THIS SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING. FRONT DESK PEOPLE ARE A JOKE MADE MY WIFE FEEL BAD WHEN SHE GOT TO THE COUNTER WITH UNEXPECTED BILL WHEN IT WAS TO BE FREE WHEN YOU BUY A PUPPY FROM CHEWS A PUPPY. WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK THERE NEVER EVER AND I NEVER EVER WRITE REVIEWS SO THIS MUST OF REALLY BEEN A BAD EXPERIENCE
Hello. I would like to extend my gratitude to the entire staff at 24/7 Animal Hospital. My best buddy, Sarge feels right at home whenever I take him in for his check ups and shots. Everyone is kind and caring with him. Thank you,Katie, Kay, Justin, Natasha, Dr. Hassan, Maria,Nikole, and Sam.
Thank you for saving Tiger life he is doing so much better and back to his old self again.
I brought my pit bull who can’t walk he was and still is in so much pain! I thought they going to help us but no, my crazy dog was barking and I do understand them being scared but a professional should know a bad dog my dog isn’t bad he was barking wiggles his tail at the same time but doctor prescribed him a pain medication with out check him they asked me what is wrong with him I just explain what I I see with my eyes and he keeps asking me what is wrong. I said se that’s why I bring him in to check what is going on. Do what you have to do just check him please! But they charge me just for been in the hospital room fro 30 minutes but that’s it.. I come back home with my dog in pain he can’t walk I don’t know what is going on with him., but today he have an appointment with a real and professional Veth!. I don’t said that they are not good or professionals but to me dr don’t do nothing and act so indifferent! Like he doesn’t care about my dog 😞😞
This place is a rip off and should be your last resort. Its great that its 24/7, and it seems like they take advantage of that. I paid $527 for diagnostic bloodwork. Thats by far more expensive than any vet I went to in Miami for any service, even surgeries involving anesthesia. Sure, they gave an estimate. But they didnt clearly explain what they were doing or why it was necessary, even after the fact. They did not present the less expensive option of sending the bloodwork out until after it was too late. When I asked for a partial refund, they refused to accommodate and said the estimate was clear. When someone puts a gun to my head and asks for money, its clear they are robbing me. But that doesnt make it right.
I am not the type of person to leave reviews, but I will for this. Please do not take your pet here. I was charged 800+ dollars for BLOODWORK and an XRAY. I am a 21 year old college student. If I had another choice I would have done so. I tried to apply for the payment plan but it was at 22% interest. I was expected to pay everything upfront, so I had to max out my credit card. This is just NOT ETHICAL. During a pandemic of all times... On top of that, I was given poor explanation on what was really wrong with my beloved pet. Then the vet administered medicine to her that I did not approve, and was going to be charged 150 dollars for before I made a fool of myself, bursting out into tears because I knew I couldn’t afford it. It was only then that it was removed from bill. I would not even come here as a last resort. I drove 45 minutes from my house to get here, and I would drive even further.
Excellent service!! All the staff are caring and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!!
It’s seems as if the vet wasn’t even trying to help, and the way he was handling our dog after his attack just made me lose my mind, the only option he was trying to push was to put our family dog to sleep!! The only reason I came here was because it was the first place that popped in my head, I would have gone somewhere else if I had the time. The only two people who was trying to help and give advice and helping us understand what was happening was the two vet assistances that was helping us. But the vet I have no words!!
Dr. Hassan and his staff were so very caring. We took our cat to his office for an emergency visit. He was very knowledgeable and had more care and interest in what was wrong than my previous vet of 6 years. Unfortunately my cat passed over the rainbow bridge, but I could not imagine having taken him anywhere else. While it was touch and go, Dr Hassan let us sit with him in the back and his staff never made us feel like we were in the way, but the moment we needed them they were very attentive. Our experience, despite the ending, was so positive we have decided to change to Dr Hassan as our regular vet and have had one well visit with him with our other cat. I am still just as satisfied with my decision to change vets. All of the prices were reasonable and you can tell he cares about the animals. His front desk staff have all be caring too.As a 24/7 Animal Hospital, I’m sure Dr Hassan sees a lot of emergency visits, I would take many of the negative reviews as grief stricken responses. Our cat did not show any signs of Lymphoma until it was too late to do anything but make him comfortable. I could never blame the Dr Hassan for that and so so grateful we took him somewhere we could love on him all the way to the end (and did everything possible to try and give him more time with us).
This is by far the best vet I have ever taken my babies. People are friendly and helpful. They have always being very prompt in my requests. They know what they are doing. Once I thought that my dog was having psychological pregnancy and they could tell that she wasnt just by asking me some questions. They didnt run a bunch of tests just to make me spend money, like most of the places that I know would do. Love it. Recommend it!
We unfortunately had to take our 12 year old chihuahua in and did not come home with her. However, from the minute we walked in the vet assistant was wonderful! She was patient and attentive to all our needs. The vet was also amazing and straight forward with us. I cant thank them enough for their professionalism and kindness.
Our dog found herself with a nice laceration this evening. Of course all vets were closed except for 24/7. They saw us immediately and within 10 minutes they had her sedated and the extremely professional team was suturing her up. We were in and out in no time and the price was more than fair for a late evening suturing. We are grateful to the vet and his very helpful techs who took amazing care of our dog.Thank you again and we truly appreciate the service your team provides the community.
Thank you for nothing just to appreciate this dr hass for no check my dog my dog is dead right now! 😢😢
Would post with negative stars if I could but have to give a star rating!!!I went there to bring my dog who was coughing. I made it there about 11 pm and the doctor comes in with no mask, a stained t-shirt that was partly untucked, and jeans. He checks my dog and tells me he doesnt hear any fluid in his lungs, he says he likely had an irritated throat as he started coughing after barking, and says he will send me home with an antibiotic in the event that he is developing a respiratory infection. Since I was concerned I asked if we should do a chest x-ray. His response was Sure I dont mind taking your money - real professional right??? At that point I was like forget it I will take him to our regular vet since I didnt even feel comfortable with them taking my baby out back to do any x-rays. I later noticed on the discharge paperwork that he wrote patient refused x-rays - inaccurate statement as I did not refuse them I was the one that recommended them. Anyhow I ended up taking my dog to our regular vet, they took x-rays and found fluid in his lungs. Not only did he not have a respiratory infection but this doctor had prescribed a dosage way too low for my dogs weight - $50 dollars for a medicine that was not even correct. I would NEVER go back to this place and do not recommend them. The doctor is unprofessional and appears to not even know how to properly care for an animal!!!
We recommend Dr hassan, excellent doctor. He took good care of our dog Meggy and detected her problem. Today she is doing very well thanks to Dr Hassan really recommenf
During a traumatic experience with our pets, 24/7 Animal Hospital took great care of all of us! Cant speak highly enough of their service
An easy way to lose your money without doing anything. You arrive with your pet at the spot for vaccination, they invent a doctor’s appointment that wasnt asked. It takes a minute and they take you 70 bucks. No vaccines. Ridiculous!
Kayli was very professional and she took care of my babby kitty. 10 out of 10 would recommend 👌🏿💯
Not one to leave reviews, but if you truly have an emergency look for a different place. These people are sketchy, unprofessional and overpriced. You will probably care for your pet’s emergency better at home, until your regular vet can see your fur babies. STAY AWAY!!
The team at the 24/7 Animal Hospital always puts my mind at ease when Im worried about my King Charles Cavalier puppy. The staff is compassionate and their medical care is thorough in helping us through both routine and emergent treatments.
Brought my german Shepherds in for a Tuesday appointment. After heart worm test, trifexis and other shots, the older dog has been sick. I called in today(Friday) with a few questions and receptions urged me to bring him in for their available 5pm appointment. Checking in at 5 and waited almost 45 min before seen(actually shorter than previous visit) once at room and after more wait time Dr. Hassan looked at my dog for no more than 5 seconds and said Ill take care of him. Said hed be back in 2 minutes, another 20 min passed. Declining a refined diet to increase his weight, I only agreed to penicillin shot and antibiotics for the dog. Doc gave him the shot and as leaving as quick as he came said to receptions (2nd, not the one that checked us in justin or the gal I made appointment with Kay) waive the fee and I said thank you. At checkout receptionist said she had waived the emergency fee. I explained to her several times that I had an appointment and this was not an emergency, If you were to waive anything itd be the exam fee. Other receptions there confirmed and recollected my appointment before their system crashed while she denied that I ever had an appointment. I declined all proposed treatment and said I will simply pay for the shot that was given. Not confering with coworkers and very rude she took my payment and stated I have an outstanding balance. I asked to speak with doctor and she said itd be over two hrs. This place is criminal and if you love your animals, spare the trip.
Thank you for the service and attention I received on such a difficult day for me.
I am in the pet service industry. I am a groomer. Top 10 in the nation. (Not that it matters). My 12 lb Bichon had a stroke. I was a my limit. Crying my eyes out on the phone. I knew his time was at its end. Good thing I asked the price for euthanasia and cremation. 550.25.Nothing else like robbing someone when they are down and sad when a pet passes. Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves! You take advantage of ppl and their pets when they are most vulnerable.
PLEASE READ..Do not bring your pet here ! Did not show any compassion to my pregnant dog who had a stuck puppy during labor..I took my dog here for an emergency c section and was turned away because I could not pay the full amount for the procedure. The nurse told us that if the puppies stays in there any longer they’d die, and so would the mother but they sent me and my dog home so she could die and all they could say was good luck knowing what the outcome would be.$400 on an X-ray and no help at all for my poor suffering dog.Luckily we were able to find an amazing hospital where they thought of the animal first and the money later and set up a weekly payment plan for us.They told me they would NOT let her die. They were able to save all 5 puppies and the mother with no complications thank god for them.My experience here was very terrible & it’s not the first time.I really hope they see this review! Honestly as a EMERGENCY pet hospital, you should always do your best for the animal.Till this day almost two months later I still can’t believe this happened happened to me.How can you take an X-ray of a dog and see the problem and still not help the poor animal..still have to pay $400 for no real actual help. Veterinary Emergency Clinic of central Florida is the hospital that helped my dog they deserve every dime PLEASE take your dog here instead.
Pon compassionate at all tip off .!!!!! Don’t care about pets just about money . Be careful
Beware!! Total ripoff. I took my dog there with a high fever and all the paperwork from previous dentist. The dr took a look at my dog and told me that he was keeping him overnight which i didnt want to. I asked him how much it would be and he told me not to worry about it basically because he was a friend of my drs iand because any other vet will tell you how much i assumed he wasnt charging. I called to see if he was better and i could pick him up. I was told they were keeping him. After not getting calls for uodates and 2 days i went there and was taken back in which i saw a dog on a slab unattended it was devastating. They took me to my dog n the moment i picked him uo he urinated all over and wouldnt stop for minutes. He was in pain ans still with a high fever. I told them i wanted to take him hone. They told me to come back and when i went back thats where they hit me with an almost $800 bill for doing absolutely nothing. I was forced to pay or i couldnt get my dig. I asked the dr to come out n tell me what was the diagnosis, what was i supposed to do and he came out annoyed and told me nothing. Mind you,my dog left in the same condition he went. I took him back to the previous vet even though they were expensive but they took care of my dog and now hes thriving. I hope you enjoy the money you stole from me. . Please people dont take your pets here. Read all reviews and research the doctor. The office has come out in the news. Do your research.
The veterinarian gave my dog a shot and couldnt even explain why he needed the shots or what its for! Staff couldnt even explain why neither. He provided medication and didnt come back to explain how to give it to my dog or why. When I asked the staff, she had to go back to ask why and she had a difficult time explaining why to me. I will never be back.
Definitely avoid this place. Our vet- now former- @ Windercare sent us here after we thought our puppy ingested a mini tennis ball. First- not a single staff member was wearing a mask. In the middle of a pandemic. The place felt dirty... sticky doorknobs. The vet is one of those people that likes to hear himself talk about himself a lot. He goes on and on about how other places will charge so much more but as I was there I got a call back on a quote from somewhere else that was considerably cheaper. It feels like he just. comes up with prices out of thin air. One time he told me if surgery was needed it would be between $1500-2000 then later he said between 2-3k. He did get a star because he was able to do the barium test and figure out the dog hadnt eaten the ball. But he wanted us to leave him there for monitoring at a cost of $900. I felt like since he couldnt do the surgery he was just trying to get what he could out of us. I ended up bringing the dog home after they gave him hydration for an hour. Took him to West Orange the next morning and loved it. Saved $650. Happy dog.
Horrible!! Be aware! I should’ve read the reviews first. I am sure my cat would’ve died if I had left him there overnight. Glad I insisted on staying and monitoring his care. The doctor is a rip off and dishonest. Pricing is made up on the spot, and they issue the same care to all animals coming in. The one thing that did help is that they do have oxygen. Took him home straight after, and took him to his regular vet in the morning. I’m almost positive the decision to bring him home that evening is what saved his life. From my experience the doctor is money hungry and does not care about the outcome of your animal. Not to mention during a pandemic he is coughing into his hands and not washing them. With a lack of hygiene for oneself, how can you have the competency to exhibit proper care for animals? Stay far far away. I warned you.
Dr. Dickinson is AMAZING! I’m a very over protective dog mom and will see multiple vets before I agree to whatever they say about my dog. Dr. Dickinson, she calmed my nerves, took her time with me, loved and cared for my baby in ways that I treat him. She did not push any services on us, she was clear about what was needed. Advised me well. Gosh, I am SO PLEASED! I see that this place has not so many good reviews and only 3.3 stars. Well, this doctor is new so I hope people take their fur babies there to see her because she def exceeding my expectations!!!
I took my baby dog because she ate some chocolate. Kay, the vet assistant, is so nice and comforting and she took my baby in right away! Thanks!!! Good to know there is a 24/7 pet hospital close by.
Went to the animal hospital last year and the vet did not help my puppy at all. Wanted to extort me and my family when my dog was in dire need. Treating us to pay an extremely high bill in such short notice or risk calling animal control to take my other pets away if we tried to take my puppy to another nearby animal hospital. We waited 15mins before someone even showed up to the front desk was ready to kick the back door down for help. Letting the puppy suffer and pass and making us pay 500 for cremation
Best vet I have ever taken any of my fur BABIES to. They work with your budget and even put together a game plan for your babys care.
I brought in my elderly dog because she had broken her leg and the care was excellent. They helped her out of the car and were extremely gentle with her. The nurses were fantastic and the vet explained everything perfectly. Shes on her rode to recovery!
I opted for lepto shot for 15.00 charge on our next visit as precaution. Took puppy to the back room and came back saying I owed 60.00 for flu and lepto. Also let me know it was not cover under Chewsapuppy contract. I did not buy my pup at a pet store and have been paying full price. I did not agree to have the extra flu vaccination. I have two dogs and will not bring them back. Need more supervision and this would not have happened.
My boy was sick and I came in with Loki as an emergency visit. They instantly cared for him and I had a follow up visit. Over the phone the staff was informative and in their office they showed they cared. Thank you
Great Er. Doctor and Nurse are great and efficient and friendly. Yes, Er”s are more expensive, but is the same thing in human medicine. We pay for the convenient of their time and of course the fact we can walk in any time with all sort of emergencies and exposed the staff to zoonotic diseases that pets may have. This place took great care of my little kittens leg and updated me in everything with treatment.Thank you! :)
These folks are kind, compassionate, and professional. They understand how upset pet owners are during a crisis, and they provide a sense of calm. They don’t run unnecessary tests or perform unnecessary procedures. They do a stellar job of communicating options and their associated costs. It is expensive to bring your pet there, so if it can wait until the morning, you might want to do that. But, just like a human ER, it really should only be used for emergencies. Lab tests and blood products cost exponentially more, as they generally have to have a driver dash samples across town.If you call in advance, that’s helpful, and they will even help you and your pet get from your car to inside the facility. All in all, I hope you never need them, but if you do; you can go in confidence that they will do everything they can to help your pet.
Very nice. The vet assistant was very sweet. They took the time to explain everything. They are now our permanent vet for my cats.
This vet is HORRIBLE! I took my dog to be seen and they did all kinds of tests without giving me a price first. The X-rays were poor quality, they double charged me for blood work thinking I wouldn’t notice, and they gave me a prescription for a medicine that is not the correct mg for my dog and for too long a duration. The worst part, they had no diagnosis for my dog yet wanted to medicate? This vet is not recommended at all, if your animal is sick, go to a different emergency vet! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS!
I was in South Florida when I had an emergency with one of my dogs and I had to get her back to Orlando and transfer her to an emergency vet near me. I randomly selected one from the internet and called from down there. They said no problem to bring her and as I was driving home I received a call from them to tell me they received the records from the emergency vet down South and how long would it be before I got there. I thought that was really great. We arrived and they took us right in and the vet came in quickly. He was wonderful. Not only did he fully check out my sick dog I had an incident with my other dog who had been attacked by my sisters dog. I showed him where he was bitten he took him to the back right away and said he needed stitches. He cleaned the wound and gave him one little stitch in his head. Overall the Dr. was very compassionate, friendly and personable. He took great care of both my dogs at a fairly reasonably cost for emergency care. He also addressed some other issues not related to the emergency to keep my senior girl in the best of health. I highly recommend 24/7 animal hospital and would take my dogs back if I ever needed an emergency vet again.
I want to thank Dr. Hassan, jackie and the staff for all the help, care and efforts their doing to help my baby Ruby to survive. Im greatfull and I appreciate you all. Thank youMillie
