We rented an Audi Convertible. We were very happy with the car and the customer service. We read reviews, which had us pretty scared. However, we had NO problems whatsoever. We had a great experience, and were very happy and would definitely rent from here again.

Usually use one of the other established US based car rental companies. Sixt is European, and our German and French branch offices used Sixt when I used to travel to the EU on business. Sixt had a good rate on a Toyota Corolla so I decided to try Sixt here in the USA, at Orlando MCO to be specific. They should put better signs at their counter which is not staffed- couldn’t find the one that was staffed. The car had a few nicks when we got it (see pics) but it ran flawlessly and got 40mpg on the highway. On return, the lot attendant was very friendly and helpful.

I booked my rental online from 9/13 to 9/20. I picked the rental up with no issues. On 9/20 when the vehicle was due to be returned, I dropped it off and the attendant directed me on what to do. Once I gathered my luggage he told me I was good to go and that I’d be emailed a receipt. 3-4 days later I got a call from Sixt asking if I wanted to extend my rental because it was never brought back. After a very long call to customer service, they finally acknowledged that the vehicle was dropped off, but now told me I dropped it off a day early. This was confusing because I flew into Orlando on a family vacation with a set itinerary and didn’t return the vehicle early at all. The lady told me that I book the vehicle until 9/21. I did not and had my reservation email to prove it. I had to go through hoops and send my flight itinerary to prove I dropped the vehicle off on 9/20 even though that’s when I booked to return it anyway. Some how in their system it changed to show a return date of 9/21. I advised the lady that I did not do this and that this error is on their part. I was charged extra for that extra day and it still has not been made right. For being a first time customer I was very disappointed. For accusing me of not returning the rental and secondly then somehow having a different return date in their system other than what I book even though I had the email confirmation, I was still charged! Will not rent from this company again.

I rented a car in Orlando International Airport and the service was great, the car super clean and the part I like the most was the return! Easy access just before getting departures area, super fast keys drop off also! I had to walk very short distance to the airline counters which is good!

Horrible experience and condescending employees upon picking up vehicle. Waited two hours for a guaranteed car and after car arrived had a hole in the side of the tire that was circled yet they still tried to get me to take an unsafe car. Had to wait another 30 min for a new car and all they offered was $80 off my rental. When returning car the bill never reflected the discount but the return process was smooth.Also a manager was supposed to call within 24-48 hrs and it is now almost two weeks later and still no call.Stay away from Sixt Orlando Airport.

Be aware of this place! If you have a reservation with them come 2 hours early if you want to be in time where you need to be! Check both terminals because in my case they closed one and it was no notice to go to another one, it was a huge line and I was constrained to spend another 200$ to get a car from rental next to them! Only 2 people working at the front desk and moving like turtles! This is not serious Sixt!!!

Rafael helped me with a last second rental car when my other reservation went awry. He was so kind, helpful and especially patient. I do not think anyone else would have been so accommodating! I am so happy, it was completely affordable, luxurious and Rafael is wonderful! Excellent car options as well!

I reserved a rental car in late 2019 to pick up in May 2020. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not reading the fine print as I learned the car could not leave the state and I was going to use for a road trip as they advertised unlimited miles. They informed me the day I went to pick up the car and I ended up without a car for my road trip.Then, they refused to give me a full refund. I received a partial refund and a voucher for the next time I wanted to rent a car. Between Covid and rental car shortages, I was never able to utilize. In short, they got $175 from me for nothing.

After weeks of having a reservation, they tell us we cant rent a car because our return flight isnt the same day as the date were flying out. The attitude wasnt necessary either. As a business owner, i will advise all my colleagues to never use them again. Went to enterprise and got a rental with no problem.

Sure, SixT has great prices. Be very, very aware of their fine print. Go over it with a fine tooth comb. And make sure you reserve the car you want when you make your reservation. After that, if you decide you want to downgrade your car, they keep the difference between the original reservation and the new reservation. I wont be using them again.

At the Orlando location, good luck finding the manned station. The airport signage takes you to an unmanned desk that a simple sign telling you where to go would fix but once you arrive there you wait and wait and no employee ever comes. If youre lucky some other airport employee will tell you where their manned location is. Dont try calling their national number for help. Youll go through voice prompt hell and never get to speak to a human until they disconnect the call. Only giving them a 2 star review because the actual employee at the manned location was sympathetic and helpful otherwise Id rate them a 1 star.

Gives you a great rate up front but then doesnt ever have the car you ordered then after your done with the rental your debit card is set with that license plate and they keep charging months after you have rented that car. Stay away! Go to a reputable place even if its an extra 100 upfront cause sixt will completely go past that after couple months of random charges

Rented a seven passenger vehicle for five days and the prices are great! We ended up with a 2021 Chevy Tahoe and it was clean and so high tech. Staff was friendly and very down to earth. They give you the option for toll pass, you should take it!

My wife and I travel and rent cars quite a bit and usually have really good experiences with our car rentals. We began using Sixt last year in San Diego and were really pleased with the service. However, in Orlando, our experience was the total opposite.We waited over an hour for the clerks at the desks, there were 3 of them, to process 13 people in front of us.Right next to Sixt was Enterprise and we saw what appeared to be two flights worth of car renters swiftly processed and sent on their way. Now, in all fairness, I didnt get the exact count of people in line for those two different periods but there must have been over 20 people between the two flights and a brief, ~15 min., between those flights where no one was in line.One couple waited so long, while at the customer counter, for their rental car that the husband sat at the foot of the counter at 2 different points. (photo attached).It made me quite sick to know that we could have been close to our final destination but instead hadnt even left the airport.The only reason I gave this a 2 star rating was because, Liliya, our Sixt representative did a great job of getting me my car.I feel like some investigating here would be worth your time to figure out what went so wrong on Friday, 09.03.2021 around the time of 1130am to 1252pm.

Friend rented car at orlando location. The wait was long and then they charged an additional 200.00 as a deposit stating when car was returned the money would be refunded. Once car was returned the attendant walked around and stated money would be refunded within 10 days. Ive tried calling and emailing and noone has even the decency to reply. Car was rented in July and now it is end of September. Had to file dispute. Not even one star but wouldnt let me post unless I gave a star

Everything was smooth sailing until we returned the car. We returned and they did their inspection and I did my own as well; no issues. Signed their forms and we were on our way. Until 3 months later we get an email saying we owe $311 for a small scratch?! I emailed them back asking for proof that someone else had not done it after we rented it. They never replied instead sent us to a collection agency. Of course I paid it since we have amazing credit and didnt want a ding on that but will never rent from them again.

Nice car… however the license plates had expired the previous month. Luckily, I wasn’t pulled over. Also, I have an additional charge of $274.92 on my credit card (after paying them over $600.00 for the week), and it seems there’s no way to contact anyone. Still waiting on a reply to an email I sent since it’s the only option. Not sure how any company considers that to be customer service. There’s lots of other car rental companies out there, and I’d suggest going elsewhere. I know that I will be from now on.

Ralph at the counter was very rude and unpleasant. Line was long and very few people working. He seem flustered and annoyed. Forced me to get insurance on “HIS” vehicle, forced me to get sun pass, and the list goes on. Terrible customer service. I’ll stick with enterprise next time

Be weary of renting from this company.Was charged an extra $50 dollars for gas when I returned the rental with 6/8 fuel. However, I filled the gas tank full just before returning. I even have receipts to verify the amount used.They do not give receipts when returning vehicles like the other rental companies.Have tried to contact their customer service for the past week and have not received a single reply.This review would be a 1/5 star review, but the cars were clean and the front desk clerk was nice and helpful.

Most importantly I believe he handled my issues with competence and pride. Prior to booking with Sixt, I read some reviews saying they can be pushy with additional insurance and other services, but the car type and price was right. I called my insurance company to confirm I was covered and booked my car. I reinforced to the agent I did not want additional insurance and there was no pressure to purchase. The car was and the staff was great, both picking up and dropping off the car. I would definitely use Sixt again; I would also recommend the toll pass option, it more than paid for itself in time and tolls.

Absolutely horrific expierence with Sixt @ Orlando airport I got upgrade with a fee, without knowing why i was not offered the original vehicle i booked. Luz was nice but when i returned the car - Here comes the nice part. I returned the car full tank of gas and confirmed with the attendant when I returned from trip only to find i got charged $30 refueling fee when i filled the car full tank right before coming to drop the car to put insult on injury after talking to the rudest Corporate service agent he rushed me and hung up the phone on me I finally was told to write to get my billing fix - best part I got an email saying they will return me $3 dollars on each gallon filled after i provided a copy of the receipt from 7 eleven gas station they had the nerve to still charge me. I have never had this kind experience before in any filed of customer service. I will never rent from Sixt every again and will not recommend to friends and family

This was the worst experience. I prepaid for the rental and then when I arrived to the airport there were a bunch of extra fees that I wasn’t made aware of. Including requesting a $1,000 hold on my credit card on top of the rental. The customer service was terrible. I didn’t take the car. I pulled it out of the Peking spot at MCO airport and pulled it into the return lane. Then the employees are telling me that I won’t receive a refund! That’s nuts and this is a scam of a business.

Im not the type of guy that write reviews, but I felt I needed to provide feedback. I booked the rental via the Priceline App and the price was awesome. I selected a compact car. Livia was great to us, there was high demand, and she upgraded my rental and I ended up with a Volvo at NO additional cost. Such a nice ride. I receive the car and it was clean, full tank and ready to go. I returned it, leave the car parked with the keys inside and go straight to the terminal. Such a great experience. Livia was great, she is bilingual (English and Spanish), and everything was smooth. I highly recommend Sixt Rent A Car.

I havent even received my car yet and Im already experiencing the worst customer service. Their websites advises for you to get discount, you should download the app, and the discount will be applied automatically. This is untrue, there is a coupon that doesnt show up until after you make your purchase. When I asked to be credited they ignore my request and basically told me to cancel my reservation so they would not have to give me a $37 refund. Its $37 and they refuse. What is $37 to them? Its a simple request. I believe they train their customer service to essentially provide awful customer service. I will never rent through them again. Spend the extra money and reserve your car through a company thats not gonna treat you like trash.

Ive never heard of Sixt before. Found them during a Google search for a rental car at Orlando airport. Prices were in my price range, so I selected a vehicle and prepaid online. When I arrived at the airport it was a quick and easy check in. Confirmed what I booked, read some rules, signed some paperwork, gave them a credit card for a deposit that is held until you return the car and I was good to go.Big thanks to Reginald! This was my first time ever renting a car and the experience was pleasant. I will definitely recommend Sixt to all my family and friends.

Ive had some bad check-in experiences, but this one topped them all. It took 59 minutes to get through the line at the counter. There was a period of about 5 minutes when there were 3 agents, but soon after everyone disappeared into the back and we oscillated between 1-2 agents at any time. I counted 5 different people that were visible at one point, which implied that there were 2-3 in the back the entire time. Im not sure if everyone just happened to be on an hour long lunch break at 2pm, but whatever the case was, the manager should be counselled on time management as the experience was truly appalling.There are plenty of rental options and while Sixt came in lowest, Id recommend using literally any other company unless you enjoy long periods of standing.

Absolutely horrendous service, booked more than a week in advance through Expedia and was told while on site that the only way to pay was with a credit card and that they don’t accept debit card. As I fumbled around for a credit card, the attendant said she was all set and pretty much told me to move on. They refused to help me with out a credit card even though I had a debit card and anything under luxury doesn’t require a credit card, she never gave me the choice, she just didn’t wanna help. The manager was equally useless, I ended up walking away. Place is garbage stay away especially if you like to plan your trips ahead of time

Whatever you do, do not prepay for your rental if there is even the slightest chance you may have to cancel. Prepaid for our rental and had to cancel at last minute because of Hurricane Elsa. Got absolutely no refund. Forget about trying to reach any type of customer service. The phone numbers do not work and if you do email them, it takes weeks to get a reply.

Please DO NOT rent with them. I always use Alamo and hertz I have no problems. But I rented 4 days with sixt and they charged me 50 dollars extra without a reason. I talk with customer service by email because their phone it’s disconnected and they send me a altered invoice!!! I have the real one in my hand they add a day extra and refuse to look the real one… so ridiculous!!! the bank reject the purchase. Shame on you!

This is definitely the cheapest one for a reason! As long as you don’t mind hour long wait times to get your vehicle even though you prepaid. And you don’t mind employees that have no power to cancel or correct anything about your rental. Oh and also a Branch manager in Orlando who will not return your call about an issue. Oh and one more thing a vehicle that didn’t having functioning A/C. All these things aside great company to rent from!!!! Lol

All the other car rentals had really bad reviews. Never rented w Sixt but they had the best reviews next to Enterprise, but Enterprise cost 2x as much. Check-in was easy and was worried they wouldn’t have a car for us (didn’t pay in advance, only reserved it about six months out), but they did and we got a free upgrade to a larger car and they let us choose between three cars. The staff was friendly. The price wasn’t the same as I was told over email, but I kind of figured it’d change.

Prepaid for a van for a week in Florida. Van was clean and drove perfectly and reps where very friendly. Returned the van and got the final invoice and was charged an extra $94 with a description for “Prepaid difference.” No clue what this charge is for since I didn’t make any changes when i picked up the van. Tried to call but after multiple button pushes and prompts they tell you they are not answering phone calls. Just have that message from the beginning and not waste my time. Sent an email and have not heard anything from them yet.Edit: Had to select prompt that i wanted to make a reservation in the phone menu option to get a live person after waiting a few days with no email response. After a few minutes of talking to the the rep they refunded the extra cost since they couldn’t figure out what this cost was from. Pretty sure it was from I talked with the guy at the counter about unlimited tolls that I declined. Said it would take 7-10 business days to process but was back in my account in 2 days. From other peoples posts I thought I would have to fight for this but was very quick when I talked to someone. I would use them again but will make sure to keep all my paperwork.

Super easy to rent a car from. Not much wait time to see someone at the counter for payment, the employee was super friendly and gave some good local intel on surrounding areas and attractions. Car was clean, filled with gas and ready for me to pick up. Rental drop off was easier than I imagine with no hassle. Would rent a car here again before the bigger named company. Love my experience.

Nice clean car. Not a long wait. Only issue was the front desk clerk wouldnt let me decline insurance and cited Florida law. A friend of mine rented from another rental car company at Orlando Airport and was able to decline coverage. Seemed odd the clerk wouldnt let me decline. Ended up being an additional $125 or $150 I didnt expect to be paying but it was a great trip no less. To Sixts credit, I didnt bring it up to them at the time. Aside from the unexpected coerced insurance, it was stress free.

The worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. Went to pick up a car that I reserved. Had to wait for an hour with only one person ahead of me and already at the counter. Once I finished the paperwork, I went to pick up the car where I was directed, only to find out that they booked me a car that was not at the location where I was and I had to wait some more for them to bring that car to me. The absolute worst. You are better off going with any other rental place if you value time and service.

This place is a joke. We rented a suv and It wasn’t full of fuel it was dirty inside and out. The car was smoked in and smelled like weed bad. We also had brake issues, the car probably should have been serviced before it was rented to us. We have reached out three times and no one contacted us to resolve the issues and refund some of the rental. I would steer clear of this sub par rental service.

Beware of Fraudulent Damage Claims and Questionable Business PracticesI rented a BMW from Sixt at Orlando International Airport in November 2020. The car was not clean. I removed trash. I returned it better than I received it and turned it over to the representative who indicated there was nothing to do and I departed. Several weeks later, I received an email message falsely accusing me of damaging the vehicle. There was no new damage to the car when I returned it. I disputed the claim hoping they had merely made a mistake. However, despite multiple communications with Sixt, the issue has yet to be resolved and they have not dropped the false claim. Note that Better Business Bureau has recorded 834 complaints against Sixt in the past three years. Note also, Sixt is not BBB accredited. An Internet search yields results of numerous lawsuits against Sixt and numerous unfavorable reviews. If they were willing to properly investigate and resolve the matter satisfactorily, I would give a favorable review. However, their integrity is in question and I now know they cannot be trusted. #Sixt #Sixtfraud

Staff was helpful at check out and check in. Vehicle was what I paid for, however, the interior was not cleaned. There was something sticky all over the inside of the windshield obstructing my vision, as well as a container of french fries in the back seats which were all sticky as well. In addition to this problem I was charged a loss damage waiver charge that was told to me it would be credited back upon return. I did not damage anything during our rental. I have emailed customer service and have not received correspondence.

I had reserved an Escalade or similar for a 13 day period on September 26th - October 9th. I had made the reservation about two months ago, so well in advance. When I arrived at the airport I was told that they did not have that category of vehicle available. This was extremely disappointing because it was the only reason I chose to use Sixt as I typically redeem points for rental cars and dont need to pay but we were wanting to treat ourselves to a nice vehicle. After going back and for with the desk agent I was told that if an Escalade was available I could swap out the car (MCO is about 45 min from where I was staying) I took the Suburban they offered and just went on my way. The condition I was given the Suburban in was appalling. In a time when cleanliness and germs are a concern I was horrified to see they would have a vehicle go to a customer that dirty. We were already short on time and needed to leave so I took the vehicle anyway. I then was able to make contact with a manger a few days later to see if I could trade my car back for the car I was promised. He did say they had one and that he could bring it to the Kissimmee branch so I didnt have to MCO, which I was very pleased with. He also stated he would put in for a discount since I drove the lower category car for 5 of the 13 days. I go to pick up the Escalade and it too is dirty and does not look like it has been even wiped down. I still take the car because I have no other choice, during the use of the car it didnt even seem to be properly maintained and the back window constantly needed to be shut. Upon returning the vehicle to MCO (which is what my contract stated to do) I was charged an additional fee for flexi return location even though that was where I was supposed to return the car and no discount was ever applied for the lesser car. Do not use Sixt if you are concerned about cleanliness or getting the vehicle you reserved. I wont ever be using them again.

I learned about this company through priceline. I paid 428.00 for the days and taxes and fees and was told Insurance is optional. When I get to the counter, I was charged 410.00 for the taxes and fees again!; and the liability insurance and the security of 200.00. When I get the car it was banged up on both back sides and the passenger mirror was broken I told the girl and she said yes its on the paperwork not all of the bangs were there. When I return the car they gave me my deposit back but not refund for the extra taxes and fees. I filed a complaint with the BBB. I was already home when they had charged my card again for 350.00 for I dont know what cause it was unauthorized! I will never use this car rental service again. The numbers on Google are bogus and they dont answer thru any means of communication! They are just a horrible company.

The Sixt location at Orlando was ideal, within a few minutes walk and elevator ride of the baggage claim area. Efficient and simple process to rent and return the vehicle. The Chrysler Pacifica was in great condition. The staff were extremely helpful and respectful at the parking pick up and return location.

I am very upset at my entire experience and the additional costs of this vehicle! Sixt was the only car rental counter with a line and boy what a line it was. When it was finally our turn I realized what was taking so long….they up charge for everything and added hidden fees! I was satisfied with my Priceline payment prior to booking, which was between $500-$600 but then I was charged another almost $300 for the car! Frankly I’m calling to see more about what these fees actually included because it is very unclear - other than being charged $80 to add a driver! Which is ridiculous! I tried to switch drivers online prior to the pick up but was unable to find this information. I also contacted Priceline about finding a better rate and was forwarded to Sixt who disconnected me and never got me to a live representative. I would never use them or recommend them and WILL be blasting this poor service and BAIT AND SWITCH on all of my social media platforms! Very dissatisfied and upset with Sixt!

I rent from Sixt fairly often, and the staff at the MCO airport are some of the best Ive encountered! Josh at the check-in desk was incredibly friendly and professional, he helped me get everything I needed super quick so I could be on my way. The staff at the garage were thorough about checking the car with me to make sure any minor damage was already accounted for. And return was so easy too! No lines, no hassle. :) Not sure what the bad reviews are about, Ive rented from them going on five years now with no hiccups!

I had never heard of Sixt before this trip-they did a fantastic job of providing us with a great car (actually got an upgrade at no extra cost b/c ours wasnt ready yet). It took all of less than 10 minutes to get checked in and get instructions for our car. I also appreciated the fact that the specialist explained the toll bridge system and helped us to decide if it was better to get a pass or not for Florida! Much appreciated!

This was my first time renting with Sixt. Finding the counter was a bit of an ordeal but this was due to the Airport signs not the information provided by Sixt. Once at the counter pick up was so quick and easy (unlike the other companies that had insanely long lines). The representative who helped us at pick up, Basit Khan, was amazing! So friendly, joked with the kids and just overall provided amazing customer service, which really is a dying art. Drop off was super easy just drove to drop off and left the keys in the car, however, I did have to ask the representative at Returns if this was all we had to do since no one else was around and she seems super busy and short staffed. She was friendly, though, and did a great job managing.

I reserved an SUV a few weeks in advance with Sixt. The Orlando airport was busy, but the counter service was fast and courteous with Leo. We took 2 elevators to get to the vehicle and when we got there I was given a Sedan and not the SUV as we reserved. With our flight and walking to the car we all just crammed in and made due for the few days we were in town. Very disappointed, especially since the prices were double for Memorial weekend and I did not get what I reserved.☹️

Terrible rental company. Buyer beware.. they accused me eight months after the fact of wrecking the car during my rental.. I did not.They literally have given me no correspondence during these eight months and then suddenly I’m getting calls from collectors! I’ve seen no pictures, no estimates, no nothing! We had very confusing and aggravating issues when picking up and dropping off our vehicle at Orlando airport. When we picked up the vehicle they insisted that we take a free upgrade but had to pay a 200$ security deposit + a 100$ fee. Even though I paid everything in full online. They said the vehicle was brand new with no issues. No one went over the vehicle with me and good thing I paid attention. The tank was not full, there were scuffs on the rear bumper. There was multiple dings from rock damage on the front of the vehicle. In the sunlight you could also see a ding in the windshield which looked like rock damage as well. I reported this to the booth attendant before we left the parking garage on our arrival. He said he notated everything and he trusted us. I took pictures of the damage before we left that day. When dropping off he said he was just going to document everything. But he wasnt very reassuring that our account was notated.But i Shouldnt of had to go my whole vacation with these issues lingering in my thoughts. Especially with a 200$ security deposit. I did not feel taken care of. The millage was wrong on the paper as well.

We have rented vehicles from many different companies in the past but had the WORST experience with “Sixt Rent a Car”. In May of 2021, we rented a van which had a lot of damages listed on the rental agreement. It was dark in the parking garage where we picked up the vehicle and we didn’t notice that the passenger mirror was also damaged/ cracked but was not listed on the damages list. Shortly after leaving the parking lot, we noticed the damaged passenger mirror and took a picture as proof of PRIOR damage. While renting the vehicle, we took very good care of it and did not cause any damage. In June of 2021, to our surprise, we received a damage claim for the damage we did NOT cause. We replied to the damage claim/ accusation immediately via email and provided proof/ photos that were taken the same day the vehicle was picked up showing PRIOR damage. We disagreed with the damage claim and charges in the amount of $757.75. However, “Sixt Rent a Car” did NOT even bother to respond to us, instead they sent this matter to collections. Their customer service team didn’t want to hear what we had to say and didn’t want to review our dispute and the proof we provided, they just sent everything to collections. We are SUPER upset and terribly dissatisfied with the way we were treated. We will NEVER rent from Sixt again and would NEVER recommend Sixt to anyone else.

They were not upfront with their pricing I was told I’d be charged around $300 and would have a $200 hold on my card that would be released afterwards I just viewed my bank statement and was charged almost $450. I was not given the car that was listed in the vehicle range and the vehicle while in use turned in warning for oil change. Would not rent here again

My invoice is grossly incorrect. I chose the prepay option and paid 2 months in advance. I added insurance at the airport which was only $174.00, but for some reason they invoice me almost $400 and now I can’t get anyone on the phone. I have sent an email to them 2 times and have yet to receive a response or a call. This is absolutely unprofessional and I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company.

IF I COULS GIVE NEGATIVE STARS, I would. Okay, I’ve been more that patient. I need my concern resolved immediately. It been over two months since my vacation, and the reason I got a rental from Sixt. I was charged a deposit and told I would get it back 3-5 days after the car was returned. Fast forward two months, a bunch of unanswered calls, emails and messages on the Sixt app, still no deposit. Nobody has reached out back to me AT WLL. Very horrible costumer service.

Our clerk, Fadoua, at the Orlando Airport Sixt desk was so amazing! Our original rental car company was horrible and not responding to our calls for help. We walked right up to Fadoua’s counter and she got us a car in under ten minutes! We were so tired from our long day her wonderful and efficient service was greatly appreciated!! Highly recommend Sixt over Enterprise or Economy Car for sure.

Super nice reservation staff at the Tampa airport, they will try to upswell you but no pressure and you might still get a free upgrade( I think thats because they always over book). The pick up staff downstairs is fat n rude. The car I got was nice but was not cleaned. Carpet was missing and dont try calling customer service. Its pointless. You can book so easy but no one to take your call after. The return stuff at Orlando airport was nice but the actual office was closed because it was super early but at least they allow you to return it any time just be sure to take before and after pictures just in case (I didnt have any issues there...I got the correct invoice).

I reserved a car through this HORRIBLE rental car company. When I made the reservation it stated that you could cancel your reservation as long as you cancelled before your pick the car up. Less then 24 hrs later I had to cancel due to my trip cancelling. This pathetic company charged me $100 fee on a $300 reservation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! STAY FAR AWAY.

In line 50 minutes and just 3 transactions processed. Go with major companies… even if it costs more… you’ll save in time and experience. Avis, Enterprize,Budget… won’t screw you as Sixt does. I had a great experience with renting a car from Sixt (Orlando Intl Airport). Aida at the pick-up service desk was super helpful, the car was just a few minutes walking distance away, and fast return process.I am happy that I could rent the car with a Debit card with much better conditions than Dollar rental car company; please, someone notify Dave Ramsey about this!

First time using Sixt, will definitely use as often as possible. Rented a very nice car for less than an average car at other places. Had a small issue where the cigarette lighter did not have power. I NEEDED one so I could charge my phone and use it for GPS. Not only were they helpful and cheerful, they upgraded my vehicle for free because of the issue. Very positive experience. Have already recommended to several friends.

If you are going to rent from this company I hope it is not spring break or they will charge the most they they can possibly charge. A vehicle that we have rented in the past for under $125 a day cost us over $600 a day just because it was Spring Break. I am all for supply and demand and I hope the market will give them what they deserve as we will never rent from them again. I will say the staff on check out and check in was excellent. If you are renting from Orlando after hours good luck on finding them the way the airport is laid out its extremely confusing on the rental car locations. I am not sure that is Sixth fault the blame belongs to the airport.

I rented at the MCO airport through the Lyft app. It was an easy process to navigate. It had the cheapest prices and I was able to upgrade at no cost. There was a $200 deposit but it was released within 48 hours of the return. I will rent from them again.

The selection of vehicles is great and online booking was easy as could be. Return process was very smooth with no issues and shuttles arrived to pick up within 5 minutes both at the airport and to go back to the airport. Only reason 4 stars is the check in process is longer then it should be as they try to upsell you on coverages and stuff that good insurance and credit cards cover.

I have not yet picked up my car and am still six months out from my rental date. However, the website told me the first car I searched was unavailable at my desired location and for my desired dates. I, therefore, searched another car and booked it. Now I have been charged for 2 reservations and am expected to pay in excess of $400 to cancel the car they told me was not available??? Worst car rental company and policy ever! Will NEVER book from this company again, filed complaint at the BBB and will spread the word far and wide to avoid renting from this scam of a company at all costs! There is no customer service to even talk to on the phone! Incredibly angry and beyond disappointed. Stay away!!!!!

We rented a 7 passenger vehicle and we got a Chrysler Pacifica. Great vehicle, clean and loaded with all the extras! Signage at the airport made the rental pick up and return process very easy. The counter in the airport was well staffed.

We ended up getting a “free” upgraded vehicle which we ended up paying for in fees that weren’t made clear to us when we signed the rental agreement. The 4Runner we received was great, clean, ran well, was great for fitting our suitcases and car seat, kept us safe when we ended up getting rear ended on vacation. The bumper was barely scratched and bent. Overall I feel like the vehicle was great and the employees were friendly. We thought we declined all insurance since we had our own coverage but we were charged $130 ish dollars for a loss damage waiver we thought we declined. The rental agreement says we accepted it though so I feel like we can’t fight it. We were also charged $140 for gas ($9.99 a gallon) to refuel the vehicle. We weren’t offered any gas options and were not aware of how much this would cost us so this seemed like an exorbitant charge at the end of our rental period and we could have had a better option. Our rental ended up being 3 times what I thought it would cost because of these fees. I just wish they would make the fees more transparent so we weren’t surprised at the end. It kinda left us feeling not completely happy about the experience after it was all done. I think all rental companies are like this though, so I guess we know better for our next rental.

Their deals appear great in the front view but very expensive when you come to return the car. I cant understand how a $435.71 rental became an 805.03 rental upon return of the car. This bill is without any damage to the car; the car is returned without any damage.Their display booking on the internet while reserving was $435.71. When you get your invoice upon return, you then see the following charges:1. Rental Facility charge2. Tire and battery fee3. Rental surcharge4. Vehicle license.When they advertise online they would factor in all the 4 charges listed above. That makes them appear like a good deal when they are really not. I prefer they factor all charges while advertising their deal, so the customer understands the actual cost of renting the vehicle. I consider this as a very dubious way of doing business.If you operate without a budget, then SIXT is your ideal car rental company. But if you operate with a budget, then they are not your car rental company.I will never rent from SIXT again.

5 Star service from the website booking, to the inside counter woman, to the outside kiosk woman, even all the way to the woman who took the car when it was returned - BUT the car inside was dirty with greasy fingerprints and crumbs from the previous owner obviously eating in the car. That was kind of gross but no big deal. I would still recommend Sixt to my friends and family.

Expect to wait about 25-30 mins if it’s busy, even if you have already have an reservation but other than that every thing els was great. I rented the 2020 Mercedes C 300 and it was brand spanking new. I drove it to Miami then headed to key west and back in 4 days, the car was speedy & smooth also had a panoramic sunroof.

The price was right, the employees were helpful but the car smelled of cigarette smoke. They offered a second car (which did not smell as bad) and we had to spray it with Febreeze every night while it was parked to make it tolerable to drive during the day.
