Do not waste your time! I regret moving to this place every day and I’m waiting out my lease to jump ship. I applied well in advance and was qualified for a unit, I was provided with the unit number on approval so that I could connect my utilities and get my moving plan together. On move in day, unit wasn’t ready so I was told to return around 4PM. I came back at 5 unit still wasn’t ready and they wanted me to comeBack another day after I already took time off work and paid people to help me move. They gave me a different unit which wasn’t ready but I figured whatever issues would be addressed on the move in check list and I would submit work orders for anything else needed. No blinds in bedroom window, wasps by main entrance and bedroom window and I’m deathly allergic so I made sure to request a work order and include that information. Entrance lights done work, no fan in bathroom, patio screen destroyed and a dirty chair and leaves all over patio, and since the space is open I have t been out there since I moved in I don’t wanna risk a run in with any snakes or frogs or anything like that. The entire unit smells like the previous occupants smoked for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No amount of cleaning and constant air circulation or air fresheners have yielded any results just yet. The latest issue which really took the last of my patience is the garbage disposal. It doesn’t work anymore and I submitted two work orders and went to the office twice to get help with this issue as these people do not answer the phone or return calls. I assume there is dirty water backed up in there which now has the place smelling terrible. I’m not comfortable cooking with that smell in the kitchen! I do not have a man to call and have him perform these tasks for me and I don’t think I should not have to do that anyway since there is a maintenance team to do this stuff! They said it’s covered in the rental fee. I am annoyed and just tired at this point. This whole company seems to be a joke. No one answers the phone and there is a new person in the office seemingly every week. I even tried to contact their corporate office and no results from there either. Seriously just move somewhere else and save yourself the stress.
Not sure of the living accommodations but the speed bumps are awful. Even barely moving I nearly messed up my car. Same with the exit spikes. No notices anywhere either. I do deliveries for Grubhub and will be avoiding this complex, it’s ridiculous and I am very careful around speed bumps…if my car is messed up as well Ill be in touch for repairs. Absolutely terrible.
When I took a tour the staff wouldnt let me veiw available units only stage units. On the first day I moved in I seen a couple roaches. I had maintenance come in and spray but the roaches kept coming. They bombed my apartment three times but the roaches kept coming. The same big guy did it each time. He was honest and told me there was no point. The whole apartment building needed to be repeatedly bombed. All of my furniture and all of my appliances everything I purchased was ruined by roaches. When I moved I only took my clothes with me and TVs. I still brought them to my new place. They were even in my car. This company ruined a year and a half. I wasted thousands of dollars on my furniture. When I found out that my surrounded neighbors also had a large roach infestation. The apartment said they were working on it. Do not rent from these people horrible horrible roach infestationWorst year of my life. I tell you roaches were everywhere. In my refrigerator, dishwasher, in my microwave, in my air fryer, in my oven, in my sofa I have to throw away a brand new sofa!!! I threw away my mattress. It was a total waste of money.
Very professional environment and the staff was amazing. I had the pleasure of speaking with John Z. I just had to say he was a delightful person to speak with. Looking for a new place and moving is never a fun moment. He made me feel at ease and his professionalism was outstanding and he made me laugh a lot after a long day it was much needed and appreciated.
I lived here for almost 2yrs and the old management team was a pain to deal with, nothing ever gets fixed and they were so disrespectful and unprofessional. My God the apt was infested with roaches, even in my bed roaches were crawling on me. This place was my first and worst experience ever with renting Apts. The new management team however seems to be a little better than the old one, they actually answer the phone when you call the office and maintenance turn up to fix stuff when you put in a request. I hope they treat the residences with respect with all that money they pay for rent but as for me I moved out.
This place is a joke. I applied for an apartment online, and it took them a week to even get back to me. They hardly ever answer the phone. I went to the property to sign my lease and paid 2 months in advance. I checked out the apartment, which initially was priced differently, but the property manager, Janet, said she upgraded me to a platinum apartment. What constitutes this as platinum? The water heater was overflowing and mold all over the wall above the sliding glass door. I couldn’t move in right away because they needed to fix the water heater leaking, which was supposed to be done the next day. When I arrived with all my things the next day, the water heater had leaked overnight and flooded the laundry room and into the kitchen. The medicine cabinet in the bathroom was falling off the wall, and paint all over the bedroom window. Wow. So I said never mind i changed my mind because of the mold and asked for just my deposit back. It was a hassle. The property manager refused to talk to me. She said she was busy and would contact me Monday to discuss. No calls. I finally got in contact with her on that Wednesday, after using a fake name on the phone. She is so unprofessional. Duane helped me out the most. He got most of my money back. The rest I had to file a dispute with my bank over. Of course it came back as fraud, because that’s what these people are. DON’T MOVE HERE! It is a joke and the neighborhood is trash.
Ive been living at this complex for awhile now and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am about the new management team! Ashley and DAnthony are so responsive, professional, and committed. They are diligent in following up and so very friendly. I so appreciate their efforts and professionalism!
The staff is truly what sets this place apart from many others I have visited during my search. Staff was very helpful and prompt in servicing your needs. They understand the stress involved in moving and it shows in their customer service.

The worst apartment you can move in. Im still waiting on the deposit that is owed to me and its about to be a year. Ive been calling, sending emails, still no response. Please, please, please take pictures of when you move in and when you move out, cant stress that enough. Otherwise, you will lose your deposit. The only thing good is the gentleman that works up front, but the managers you can throw them away.

Mr. Singleton is a true asset to this company. His presentation, knowledge and zeal made me excited to be a part of this community. When I call the office my questions and concerns are always addressed by Mr Singleton with a clear and HONEST response. He does not pretend to care. Mr. Singleton actually shows it. Im glad he was our leasing agent.

I have been living at this residence since 2007. There is always room for improvement. However, I must commend Ms Janet for a job well done. My experience with her has been exemplary. You go to the office angry, she ensures that you leave with a smile. While she can do so much, it will take a team to enhance the community
I have had to send a couple of tenants here this year as my investor has been selling rental properties. Duane took care of them and allowed us to beat our move out deadlines and they both said the transition was a great experience. I am grateful that The Park at Highgate is open during this Covid -19 ordeal as many apartments are not even answering the phone.

I have been a resident at The Park at Highgate for almost a year and I have had ongoing issues since moving in. The most recent one deals with the HVAC system in my apartment.It is currently 85 degrees in my apartment. I have had continuous HVAC issues since June and little has been done to fix this issue. I have emailed the property manager several times and have yet to receive a response. I simply asked that there be some type of compensation for having to live uncomfortably for a month, however she has chosen to ignore my requests. I have tried to call, but their phone line is either always busy or goes to voicemail. I have also reached out to corporate several times about the ongoing issues I have had since moving in and have yet to receive a response from them either. At this point, I’m considering starting the process of withholding my rent because they are not holding up the end of the lease agreement. I do not think it is fair to have to pay the full amount of rent when my family has been living in discomfort for a month! I have a 3-year-old child who has had a hard time sleeping through the night due to the extreme heat in this apartment. Our utility bill has increased because we have had to constantly run fans inside of this unit in order to keep ourselves cool. If I do not hear from someone in regards to this issue, and ALL OF THE OTHER ISSUES I HAVE HAD SINCE BECOMING A RESIDENT HERE, I will go ahead and take my grievances to the court and withhold my rent.
This place is absolutely horrible. Bug infested. Trash EVERYWHERE. dumpster constantly overflowing. No one answers the phone. Management does not care at all. Look at all of the 1 star reviews. Nothing has changed.
The absolute worse renting experience in my life. Roaches coming from every room, water leaking from dishwasher, we had a bee hive inside of our patio wall. They came to remove the beehive and left a huge square hole in our patio. Raccoons would be on the roof and found an entry point where they were living above us, scratching and moving around above our head every night. We gave management pictures, recordings, and numerous complaints, and nothing was done. I had to purposely be late on my rent so I can have some form of contact with the front office because they were ignoring my calls and emails. If you are looking to move here RUN! You can literally pay the same price for a decent apartment with less than half of these problems
Just moved in this past weekend and I can say Jamar is the absolutely best! He’s been helpful since I first was interested in moving into this property back in September. His customer service is excellent. Also, he made sure that I was able to move in on the date I needed to in order to start my new job. Even today, I had some minor problems and maintenance was here within a few minutes and completed everything in a timely manner. Absolutely love it here so far and couldn’t think of a better place to live!!
My experience with The Park at Highate was exceptionally well. My experience with Janet Mercer was wonderful, she showed me around the property and when she greeted me it was like nothing I have had.While I was there people came in upset but left out smiling and happy. I would recommend them. I know people say all kinds of things. I am a manager of a restaurant and in my experience you must see for yourself. Often times when customers do not get what they want they want to tare down a business. Know one is perfect and things can happen it is what we do to resolve the situation what I saw was the staff taking care of people. The staff was patient, kind and got things done. I will me moving there, I feel that if something comes up they will do there best to make it right. I deal with unhappy people daily and at times it is easy to look at what someone is doing wrong rather than what someone is doing right. These apartments are way overpriced and two small. The maintenance takes entirely too long to fix any problem that you have. These apartments have a bug problem and mainly ants and there is nothing being done about it. When are you coming to this apartment complex they try to disguise it in the front with flags and balloons to make you feel warm and friendly, Just Like Home. It is a total facade! It is hot right now about 90 degrees outside and you cannot even go jump in one of the two pools that they have out here. People pay $1,000 and up and there are hundreds of people staying out here. Management cannot even maintain a pool and a fitness center for you to enjoy while you live here. What are they doing with all that money because its not keeping up this apartment complex. If something gets broke just expect it to be broke for a few months at the least. The property manager is very rude, nasty, insensitive, and just displays characteristics that are Unbecoming of someone in that position. If I were you, I would not waste my time looking at these apartments. Stay woke!

While apartment hunting I stumbled across these lovely places and talked to Duane who was extremely helpful,professional, polite and courteous if the rest of the staff is anything like him I would love to be a resident!
I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The manager and staff are great. They have been friendly and courteous. I appreciate the peace and quietness in the community. The property is clean and the photos only give you a glimpse of how clean this place is. I have been impressed with all of the renovations. I saw these about 5 years ago and would never have thought it would be this nice now and I would actually live here! This is a great community to live in.

Been calling every day for over a week now to speak with someone in regards to renting a unit however no one ever answers the phones. That’s concerning... I’m out of state so I’m not able to go in person. After seeing the reviews about this community I feel sorry for the people that live here and I guess it’s a good thing that I haven’t been able to talk to anyone. First impressions are important. Guess I’ll continue my search elsewhere..
I’ve called everyday for 4 days and left voicemails and haven’t received a callback. I’ve also personally went to the office and they have a sign stating that they are closed today but will be back tomorrow... the sign has been up since Monday and it’s Thursday. You would think they want our money 🤦🏻♀️

I have seen many changes at the complex, I have seen many changes with management.The current staff now has really done a great job maintaining the property. I have seen first hand all of the hard work this staff has done and continue to do daily. If you are looking for a great place to live I would recommend The Park at Highgate. I wanted to talk about my experience, from when it started to when I moved in. I was told not to come to this place it was horrible. I was told that it is so bad over there. I looked at so many places in this area. I decided go and look. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted.I was took a simple apartment and it was so beautiful. It made me wanted to live here. The one thing I loved was that I also looked at a actually apartment, it looked just like the simple apartment with out the furniture.I just moved in and I am so happy, I walk in the evening and this place is wonderful. I just moved in two months ago. This is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever rented. There are roaches all over even in my refrigerator. I cannot live comfortably because of this place. There is plumbing that is not addressed. When I came here the show room was lovely and I thought that was what we were getting. I cannot cook and leave pots on the stove for a day. There will be roaches over. I don’t recommend nobody here.

If I could take that last star honestly I would!! very disappointed I would never ever recommend no one to live here!! Customer service is really bad!! As far as getting something done just terrible response time!! Just a real shady office team they tried to charge me twice for the rent.. They say it was a mistake but still trying to charge me for something since I been here they say they was gonna give me a new stove because it’s only 2 burners working I can’t see no changes they say they was going to fix A lot of stuff there is no improvement! Just very bad service they put on a show when you just moving in but don’t do nothing you ask!! They left my a/c with no filter in its the master room no a/c in that room I ask them to fix it the maintenance guy didn’t even respond back..they send you to voicemail when you call them Just sad

My business is new, I was referred to The Park at Highgate by one of my clients. I was greeted by the office staff who was great as I waited for the head maintenance man. We toured the apartments.As we were going to a apartment the maintenance man Kail stopped and helped several residents. That really did impress me. I ended up meeting the entire staff who were really nice. I would definitely recommend The Park at Highgate the staff really cares.
I love omaira. Shes very nice friendly and get the job done she showed me a tour around the apartments there were awesome i cant wait to be approved. She was everything i recommend this place to anybody she was so kind. She even offered me and my daughter snacks. Made us feel like we were HOME! THE FRONT DESK WAS EVERYTHING! everything so nice and good quality i really appreciate her. And cant wait to lease with them. They deserve more than a 5 star!!
I give The park at Highgate a 5 star because the customer service is awesome, I really appreciate the leasing agent Jamar Beville, he was very professional every time I spoke to him, he always kept his word and helped in every way so that all our needs were met. There was another leasing agent in the office, I don’t remember her name but she was awesome and I really do appreciate her help and concerns. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I honestly do recommend this place.
Now that I’ve been living here for some time, it’s not what I thought it was going to be. I’ve noticed an increase in bugs in my apartment, as well as now they try to charge you for any and everything. I have a couch outside on my patio that I like to go outside and sit on, and now I have to remove it and was given a $50 fine . What’s the point in having a balcony and cannot put a couch on it? I’m planning on moving ASAP and WILL NOT BE RENEWING HERE. Oh and I pay over $1,000 for a small 1 bedroom, 1 bath and cannot do as I please. What a joke! Save yourself the hassle and do not sign a lease here!!
3 weeks ago my car plus about 10-12 other cars possibly more all got burglarized in the wee hours of the morning and management said nothing about the incident like do y’all even care about your tenants!!! Something that serious should be made aware to your lessees, and management can y’all please lock the gate it will kinda help with the crime although it won’t make it go away and I hardly see any security roaming the property.
I’ve sent emails, paid my application fee and also called multiple times and left 3 voicemails and no one is answering or helping. How do I know if I’m even filling this application correct? I have many questions about the application process? But no one to help. This is ridiculous. First impression counts!
I am new to the Orlando area and needed a place to live. I was driving around the area and saw this apartment complex. The management was very helpful in describing the layout of the apartments as well as going over the schools and parks in the area. I was able to move in immediately and have not had any complaints with my apartment, my neighbors, or the management. I have been here for a little more than two months and the property is improving tremendously. I am happy with my decision to live here and would highly recommend this property to my new friends and family.

I have been a resident of this community for over a year. The grounds are always kept tidy by the friendly staff. No problems with maintenance. I put a work order in yesterday----problem fixed today. Thank you Wilberto!! Then theres Shan----she is patient, friendly and always willing to take care of problems and correct them. Thank you Shan. Your the best! The complex has been recently painted and looks great. I see improvements every day. I plan on staying here awhile! Thanks to all of you!!
Maintenance problems they dont come out to fix you have to be calling and going back to office everyday. For someone to fix it. and went you pay rent they keep putting notice on your door that you down pay. You have to take going there with your receipt to show you pay to avoid the enbrassment.too expensive
I was a past resident that lived there 5 or 6 years ago. I could not believe it, I simply could not believe it. The apartment and staff are great. I went with my sister and she is moving in!I moved out the state and I really feel good about were my sister is at and the folks who will be helping make her experience the best possible! So much so, that I am going to recommend The Park at Highgate to more folks!Maestro!
This is the worst apartment Ive rented in my 40+ years of renting. I wish I never moved here. I signed 3 different lease for 3 different apartments. The first one was done prematurely. I was told the man wasnt really a lease consultant, he was a maintenance man who got promoted. Once I got the 2nd apartment, I was told to set up the energy and renters insurance, I did that. After that was done, I played the waiting game. Then I got a call that my unit was ready and I could move in. I traveled 3 hours with my 11 year old granddaughter just to wait an additional hour or so because that unit was NOT READY. At this time I had already turned on the light and renters insurance for about a week. Last minute they gave me a 3rd apartment. I was already over it but i had to move in because everything was paid for already. Once I got in, I spot roaches and a foul smell in the kitchen. The sink had a leak. I notified them the next day. The maintenance/leasing man showed up and fixed it, or did he? The next day my kitchen was wet from 2 leaks. I called in AGAIN and even went by the office. Everytime he comes, hell be back and never comes back. The window in my granddaughter room is broken. I notified them of that after finding a lizard in her room. For the most part, I take out my own garbage even though I pay $37 for the service. The worst part is they moved me right across from where a young man was murdered. Someone went in his apartment and killed him before I moved here. How did they get in, right? Its ADVERTISED as a gated community. Its NOT gated, it dont work. This is false advertising and unsafe for me as a 62 year old woman. I dont feel like Im safe or my granddaughter is safe in a place where violent crimes like that happens and even drug bust. Yes people talk so Im aware of a lot more now. I feel very lied to and why move me so close to where something so heinous happened. I will be contacting my lawyer immediately because its lies after lies, unprofessional and unsafe with the gate being broken. I paid for a gated community and thats what should be here. My daughter wrote a review when I had the first bad experience and she works at a law firm and since then had said she was going to work on it but I told her no. Now I cant think about saving anyone when I dont feel safe myself. DONT MOVE HERE PLEASE.

I moved into Highgate Aug, and I wanted to take the time to just write a few words. From the moment I moved in I have had nothing but great service.I have spoken to some of my neighbors and they have said how they have seen a big change here. I started thinking, then we need to put it in writing. So I am, we always here bad things and never enough good things. Highgate is a great place to live and we truly have a staff that cares, will listen to you, make you feel that it truly is about your needs and concerns. Believe me I love it here and there are lots and lots of others that do also. I would recommend Highgate to anyone. Thank Highgate staffYvonne P
I must admit that I was reluctant after reading reviews!!! Once we visited Highgate and met the manager, WE WERE SOLD!! My mother is Elderly and She is pretty particular about where she lives!! The staff here is the best with awesome customer service skills!!!! Thank you for making Mom feel at home!!
Absolutely the WORSE experiences Ive EVER had with an apartment. I started the process of moving i with them in July, with a move in date around August 9th. The day before I was suppose to move in, I was contacted with multiple issues that havent been resolved, including my rental verification. Which was previously confirmed as being clear.After days of going back and forth to try to get that clear, I had to contact corporate because I HAD to get out of my current apartment, corporate finally MADE them push me through (MIND YOU THE PROPERTY MANAGER NEVER REACHED OUT HERSELF)THEN It turned out that they didnt have a unit ready for me. One would be ready in a few days and I had to pay for a hotel until then (WHICH THEY DID NOT OFFER TO COVER)When my unit was FINALLY ready, Janet (PROPERTY MANAGER ) ASSURED me she did a walk through and everything was PERFECT. I get the keys, the unit was FAR from perfect. ROACH INFESTED. I noticed as SOON as I walked in. Broken windows that was just TAPPED up.I sent ANOTHER complain to corporate and the regional manager (JANICE) stepped in but THREATENED to give me back my security deposit and be done with me sine they couldnt make me happy. DID SHE SEE THE ROACH PICTURES I SENT THEM? I dont even know.Eventually they got another unit for me (A WEEK AFTER I WAS SUPPOSE TO MOVE IN) And Waived my prorated rent (EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS ONLY A WEEK LET IN THE MONTH ANYWAY LOLOL).I paid for transfer fees fr my lights and internet FOUR TIMES, thanks to them, but no one offered to pay me back for that either.AND the original price I signed up for $827, They said there was no proof that I signed up or an apartment at that price but that theyd help me by giving me an apartment at $887. And that their apartments have NEVER gone for that low. A month later what do I see on their website? An apartment going for $827 (I HAVE PICS).And my current apartment? Also roaches, but a bit more manageable. Even though the apartment wasnt ready I HAD to move in. I had to tell them that I would paint the apartment so I could just move in without delay.EVERY month I also have to send them an email to charge me my rent so I can pay it online, so far, no one has answered my email as to WHY i have to do that.Theres a LOT more, but just DONT LIVE HERE.See pictures below for the HOT MESS!
My frustration with this complex is on 10! This is the most unprofessional management company I have ever dealt with. It takes them months to complete work orders! I called the emergency maintenance line the day my window broke...that was 2 weeks ago and my window still isnt fixed. I had to tape it together! When I moved in 2 years ago, I advised them of my leaking fridge...I still have the leaking fridge! It makes no sense how this company can require you to pay this ridiculous amount of rent for this type of service! To make things worse, they have decided to tell you what you can have on your back porch and have been cutting the tenants screens on their back porches and stealing their items and throwing them away if its not what they feel is acceptable! They have a mold problem that they wont situate as well as a cockroach problem that they feel YOU should tell them you need pest control instead of having pest control once a month! Please be smart and use your money to live at a complex that is going to do the work for what youre paying. These apartments are too small for this price and horrible management.I contacted the corporate office today and ended up getting my work orders completed. While speaking with them, I was advised that the leasing office sent a picture of me walking some dogs. So, they had enough time to take pictures, but not enough time to complete the work orders?! Again, UNPROFESSIONAL!
The Park at Highgate is a very nice place. I have clients in the community as well as my grandmother who lived in the community. I have also visited the show room apartment. I have recently put my application in, I looks forward to moving in. I would recommend this community to everyone.

I love this property and the staff is friendly and has a can do attitude. I have been doing business as a vendor with this property for years. Janet is an amazing manager and Kali has a great attitude and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Go by and check them out. You will be pleased, any staff will be able to help you. I would recommend them.
Ive been a resident for two years. Management that is here now is better than previous management. I love my unit and its just enough for a single person. Now there are some major issues that have made me change my opinion of the property the way things are handled and sadly will probably not be renewing my lease this go round. Im going to blunt and honest because I dont believe in biting my tongue. For 2 years the gate has been broken and the standard answer is Were getting quotes or taking bids it was fixed for 2 days then broken again and not fixed since. I have now seen drugs being exchanged on the property because anyone can ride onto the property its become a hangout spot since they can just ride up and hang out. My corner area is drug haven as I have reported on numerous times of the smell of weed in the air and whos apartments its coming from but nothing has been done. Ive reported people using the lawn as a parking lot including giving the building number and apartment numbers nothing has been done. You have people with PIT BULLS which according to the rules are not allowed on the property but they are here and their owners allow them to walk freely and poop, There are holes in the fence where people from the trailer park or anyone coming from Silver Star can just cut through the property last year I reported that several men had followed me coming through that hole, standard answer Were getting quotes or bids 2 years still not fixed. Now the truth of the matter is that the complex is turning GHETTO. And they are more concerned about occupancy rates than the property or the tenants. Neither pool open all summer how is that? Ive told were getting a dog park when since I was lied to about the property having one when i rented to find their concept is a poop area. You have 5-6 people living in a 2 bedroom apartments nothing done. I could keep going but to future renters dont let the front of the property (the management area) fool you, ask to ride around the property see the trash bags sitting curb side, or all the brown areas where the pictures show how green the grass it NOT. Very disappointed in having to move :-(

The apartments are horrible and the people that work here are even worse... They want to much money and no safety here AT ALL break in all the time in daylight at night.. You put in work orders they dont do it.. I can go on and on .. Just find somewhere safe for you and your family.
This place is overrated. The rent is over $1,000 just for a 2 bedroom. When i moved in there were plenty of ants in the cabinet. The apartment is too small for such a large price. A 3-bedroom apartment in better condition rent would be about $800-$900 a month,while this is over $1,000.
RENT HERE, IVE MADE A BIG MISTAKE. OFFICE MANAGEMENT TEAM MS. SHANE HAS WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP ME OUT IN THE PAST AND ESPECIALLY DURING THIS COVD 19. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
I just relocated here for work. I looked at several places before making a decision, The Park was a great choice. I liked the lay out & the Management was wonderful.
Very pleasant staff. Incredibly helpful and warm. Leasing professional Omaira is very enthusiastic and eager to help. Cant wait to move in!
Since they have gotten new maintenance manager things are getting fixed. Our A/C is now working great and they are doing improvements on the grounds also.
I went in and was given a tour and both ladies were very pleasant. Any questions I had they were able to answer confidently. Im going back to turn in my application, their manner made me want to live here.**They took their masks off
Been here almost two years. Not too long ago my vehicles got broken into. Reported to the office and police. Rashad (if I got it correctly) advised that theyre doing everything to make sure the security of their tenants. He was very helpful. I have since installed security cameras to monitor the parking lot and started to backing in my truck to protect my property. My truck almost got towed but my downstairs neighbor prevented it. I called the office to explain my reason for the way I parked. A woman Jessica or something like that, answered the phone. It was one of the most unpleasant conversations Ive had in a long time. Before I could finish my sentence, she blurted out if your back in we will tow your vehicle. And went on the tell me that my equipment is none of her concern. She was extremely rude. DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO LIVE HERE. One star is too much
You put a couch on your balcony and they fined you for it? Good for them! Try putting patio furniture on your balcony. A couch on a balcony is pure ignorance and Im sure management received complaints.
I have never been to an apartment where they charge 750 for your deposit half of it is non-refundable.I talked to many other residents moving out and they told me was that the lady over the property now is a crook and if you get on her bad side She will kick you out of your apartment with no hesitation. Ive been here three months and my car was towed with no warning For being back in but when I signed my lease this was not mentioned to me so I had to pay $275 to get my car out I dont think thats fair.But the only thing I can say about this apartment is the nice leasing lady Christalvery respectful and probably the only reason why I moved in. If you manage to come here to find an apartment and May is still here do not spend your money at silver Oaks apartment.

Ive been here almost 9 years. Maintenance sucks. Called them at 9am about my air condition and they still are not here. My apartment is 81°. It is August 21, 2017. Its hot. I have a cabinet in my kitchen thats been hanging over the stove for a month. Ive called several times and no one has fixed it yet. Mind you they are nrw cabinets. They suck. I wish i had a corporate number to call.
They tack on random fees at move in, dont tell you that the apartment you applied for wasnt available, apartments are infested with roaches, and they have some sort of agreement with a local towing company where theyll come through every so often and tow you for any reason they can think of. The office also NEVER answers the phone
These by far are the WORST APARTMENTS I have ever stayed in. My original move in date was postponed once I already hired a moving company. Once I finally moved in I noticed these Apartments has a HUGE ROACH PROBLEM!! I would NOT recommend these apartments to my WORSE ENEMY!

DO NOT MOVE HERE..... I KNOW ITS EASY TO LOOK AT THE POSITIVE REVIEWS. BUT THIS PLACE HAD ME GO FROM LIVING A NORMAL LIFE THEN WHEN I MOVED HERE FROM OUT OF STATE. I ENDED UP LIVING IN MY CAR WITH AN EVICTION. ROACHES, UNPERFESIONAL, MONEY HUNGRY, HOOD, BAD ENVIRONMENT. IF YOU COMING FROM UP NORTH FOR A BETTER LIFE DONT DO IT. Was told we were getting an up dated home and ended up after the lease with old appliances. MANAGMENT IS CRAZY just because they say its new management is a lie Guys I always paid rent on time. I made sure everything was great. I live a nice life up north. Came here they were denying my online payments so they can charge us a late few they did this everytime causing us to be in dept of so much. If you are looking at these comments for a sign. Here is your sign DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
This review is strictly for Jamar. I wanted to take a moment and give credit where credit is due to talk about my experience today with Jamar. Jamar was with a few customers before I came into the office but he assured me I would be taken care of as soon as he was available and while I was admiring his way with people and how he carried himself, and their questions and concerns in which he answered them professionally and kindly. I was impressed by how sincere he was and how much he really wanted to take care of the customers needs. I come from the apartment industry As I am CAMT, EPA, CPO, WDO, R410a certified and my family and friends have been involved in the business for 30+ years. I have seen a lot of leasing professionals both good and bad with no people skills and great people skills and Jamar is definitely a benefit to your company. I hope he is being watched by others on how to deal with customers and I just wanted to add this review so that his class would not go unnoticed.

Janet the manager is rude. Why have someone work for your company who does not have any customer service. This place is going downhill.
I do not recommend these apartments at all. I live in a first floor apartment and constantly at dawn and at all hours the neighbors above make a lot of noise. I notified this situation more than once and nothing was done to the respect they told me they will send a letter and the situation is still standing. The trash does not always pick it up, the worst thing is that if they break the trash bags they do not pick it up and leave it in front of your apartment. In the area where I live at dawn there are many discussions and it is not possible to rest.
The experience was unpleasant, I chose a specific apartment over the internet, and when I arrived at the place I was presented with another, a dilapidated apartment with many repairs to be done. I did not accept the apartment of course, but I could not remove the inquiry they made to the Credit Bureau.
The new staff is extremely helpful. Ive sat in the office and have watched how they are helpful and treat everyone with proper attention. The new manager Udenia is Great and you can see the changes. She is so understanding and patient. Shan is also a joy and helpful. The change was needed... Im renewing again.
What a ride these people put on.(Mind you i never got to move in because of this) First time i got there the place seem good...everyone was willing to help and i even got a tour, but after that first visit everything changed, every time i called them i kepi getting Oh this person isnt here shell call you back leaving me to call them back because i never got a call back.Never was told the details the whole time i did the application to when i got the welcome letter. I was suppose to move in today, but i was told i was suppose to pay them 800+ which made no sense to me...mind you if i was told from the jump that the price for everything i was getting from all those times i kept calling them i wouldnt feel so left out the loop.Dont waste your time and money with this place they cant even service you right from the application and on time.
With the new staff in place and things being implemented properly I’m happy to say I see a great change on the way. They are very attentive and understand the needs and know how to get it done.
I just want to say that ive been a resident at the park at Highgate for one year now. I am so sad that my residency has to come to an end due to financial reasons. My experience here was wonderful! The staff is amazing more like family. Thank you guys for always attending to my needs. Omaira Encarnacion, i will miss you tremendously.

I came back to improve my review from the past which wasnt too pleasant but I have been a resident for atleast 2 years now and there had been BIG improvement in the management and the efficiency of the staff. My works orders are completed the day of (unless a part needs to be ordered). The staff in the leasing office assist with all my problems in a time manner. In the past I wouldnt even bother going to the office for help because I knew it would have never happened. But now I have no problem taking my issues to management because I know they will be handled immediately. I also just renewed my lease for another year!
I appreciate the great customer service and the property is clean keep up the good work you guys
