Please do not consider living here!!! Horrible conditions to be living in, especially with that price tag.Whoever is giving this place 5 stars has to be their management team! Please be aware! The smell was horrible, I understand Florida has humidity but it is not normal to have that much inside an apartment. There was mold, lots of dust, water marks, stains on the kitchen counter, the stove was in bad condition, the bathroom cabinets were falling apart, the paint was cracking, there was garbage outside the apartments scattered. It doesn’t feel safe to live here either, it says gated community but the gate is open all day.Don’t consider living here, we had the worst experience, money to the garbage*************UPDATE: I felt the need to make sure that everybody knows that I was a resident there and still had to pay for two days of services, and of course you don’t have me down because you refunded us everything the same day we got accepted because you knew the horrible condition this place was. We even called the Health Department. We obviously didn’t get our application fee back. I wish I could add the picture of the lease contract, money orders, and I even have a picture of the keys we got with you guys but it does not give me the option to add more photos. How else would I have gotten those photos I uploaded to this review, too though? Shame on you guys. I don’t want anyone to go though what we went through. DO NOT RENT HERE!
Toured with a new leasing agent and were told the pool is still closed due to covid. Every other complex in the area, as well as water parks and resorts, have their pool open so obviously this company is hiding something. We were not offered anything additional by way of information and the agent was extremely rude during his tour. This was the worst experience we’ve had touring, and to top it off he shoo’d us off before offering any quotes or move in availability. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Every since the old team quit/got fired this place has gone down hill. The staff prioritizes the building of a new dog park over anything else. The apartment company allows people to park in the fire lanes due to construction. The construction takes about 5 spots in the front, that is not the problem. The office staff does not try to help and when a car was parked in front of my garage the tow company is afraid to tow due to the complex siding with the offender. The office is also not sending any lease renewals out. They just tell us to wait (3 months now). I will not be surprised if I get charged the month by month rate after that point. I may have to lawyer up for that.In short DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! You will regret it.
The location is super convenient, im minutes away from everything. I love the amenities especially the gym. The staff really worked with me to make sure my transition was smooth despite my demanding work schedule. Thank you so much krystle for going above and beyond to making sure that I had everything I needed
Went for a scheduled tour at 2:30 and we had to wait because no one was in office. We said we were going to apply and did but we were having trouble so I sent an email and called no response. I called again the next day and they guy said he didn’t know what i should do and said the mangers get back at three and he took my number down and said they would call. THEY NEVER CALLED. So I had to apply again and they let my apartment go !! Then after writing this review this lady gonna call me trying to check me about my application 😭😭
I have been familiar with Mission Club Apartments for a long time nowCentrally located in beautiful Orlando, Florida, The Mission Club Apartments offers rental apartments that include upscale amenities, excellent service and a convenient locationmaintenance always fast with everything!!Hawthorne Residential Partners have the best team running this propertyRecently had a problem with my bathroom! Everything was fixed in few hoursWhat are 3 important qualities of customer service?Essentially, the 3 important qualities of customer service center around three “p”s: professionalism, patience, and a “people-first” attitude. This is the reason the Management and property is rated very high!Love Mission club!
If you’re willing to wait over two months to get approved, while the apartment has been vacant the entire time, this is the place for you. Staff is rude and snippy. They never answer the phone even though they’re inside having full conversations with one another. There is NEVER any form of communication; whether it’s email, call or text. Had a resident leave the office and tell us to not reside here due to them charging him a wrongful fee. Don’t waste your time or money here.
If there were 0 stars I would give it negative 5 stars. They do not communicate with you, they promise and don’t deliver, their staff rolls their eyes at you even their managers! They are rude! They had bedbugs in the apartment I lived there only 3 weeks and they blamed it on me!!! My kids were bit from day 1! This move cost me a-lot of money and I only lived there 3 weeks! I had to throw out all my furniture and buy new, move to a different place. They have sooooo many roaches. This is what they consider a “move in ready” apartment. Apply at your own risk!
We love living here! The pool area and gym are really nice.
I have been shopping around and finally decided to apply today. I have been looking at reviews and was hesitate due to some reviews but it seems they are all from a Mr. Crawford who seems to be a miserable person and should consider moving if it’s that bad.Do you think you are the only person that resides here and feel entitled to be informed personally? You will not a find a perfect apartment complex, pool/spas will break and cost money to repair. Maintenance issues will always happen.Go rent a house and stop being the Karen of the complex! Get a life! You probably don’t get your way and that’s why you are complaining.I am happy with my decision, thank you ladies for your assistance and the smooth application process. If you read your reviews, ignore Crawford and don’t let him steal your sparkle.
I applied weeks ago for a one bedroom. Andrew from the leasing office reached out asking for personal documentation, including bank statements and social - after I submitted everything, I never heard back. I emailed and called the office multiple times to ask for an update (left messages) and I was completely ignored. They did not answer the phone or call me back once.Unprofessional and careless staff - do not apply here unless you want to flush $325 down the toilet.
I live for 4 years. The first one everything perfect but after that is really bad. Don’t clean stair, Bad customer service, Pool never is clean,Valet trash is bad. Now I moving to other complex and everything is working the pool is clean and pay less money $200 a month. So why you spend more money in this complex? I don’t on’t move here again.
We just moved in and I love my apartment. It’s upgraded and great price.Residents will put negative reviews when they don’t get what they want and the girls in the office are helpful. I witnessed a resident being very nasty from the moment he came in.I look forward to many happy days!
This is the worst apartment complex! Do not live here! Staff is so unprofessional and rude. The apartment has had no ac for over a week with a thermostat reading 95 degrees. Have to stay in a hotel because the conditions are not livable. Office never answers phone. Was told they would get it done first thing in the morning.. once again nothing done…
Worst place to live, dirty and too expensive for the amenities and apartments conditions.this picture the trash in the aisle for 3 weeks and nobody clean and each month you pay everything and they leave everything dirty. Btw is not my job pickup the trash for others, Im pay every month for maintenance. I cant given 0 star but taked 1.The worst experience here.
DON’T RENT HERE !I’m a resident in Mission Club Apartments located in Orlando FL. We have several complaints. Since we first move in the apartment we had problems with the A/C. Resuming the situation we had to call more than 10 times in different occasions because the A/C was not working properly since day 1 we moved and for the last 7 month from 9 month we’ve been living here. They gave us a variety of excuses; first the A/C was new and was under warranty, then the A/C have a broken line and that the A/C company was going to fix it, then the company couldn’t fix it, then inside the A/C (where the filter goes) was frozen, then they cannot fix the lines because they can’t damage the structure of the building because the lines are located inside the building walls. Following Florida laws if the problem is NOT fix within 7 days of the problem been notified we have the RIGHT to cancel the lease WITH NO fees or get a transfer to another apartment with NO CHARGES. The manager Sharon Casillas have done NOTHING, she even wants to charge us $500 for the apt transfer and she doesn’t want to cancel our lease or she’s charging us $2,000 to break the lease. Every time we notice an apartment is empty and send her an email to get transfer she always says it’s already rented. IF YOU HAVE TENANTS WHO NEEDS TI BE TRANSFER BECAUSE YOU RENT US A NON FULLY FUNCTIONAL APARTMENT WE ARE THE PRIORITY.The place is INFECTED with roaches and in 9 month of our lease only 1 TIME pest control have come. And we get charge $5 A MONTH.The valet for the trash doesn’t get the trash like they’re supposed to. They see the bags have a hole or are teared apart because of the raccoon and possums they won’t pick it up and we get charged $27 A MONTH for us to throw the trash away ourselves. The Pool was open during Christmas (cold weather) now in the summer the pool is CLOSED and no reason is given. But they buy all this furniture to make it look pretty to new people looking to rent NO! ITS A CATCH!The car wash it’s been closed since 2020 almost 6 months already and no reason is given.Neighbors smoke inside the apartments and the smell gets into our apartment and they DO NOTHING ABOUT IT.We pay $1,200 a MONTH for us to enjoy amenities and to have a functional place to live and this is NOT our case.Tons of people have moved out. All of our neighbors are GONE. This is the most we can afford a month that’s why we stay here but this is an ABUSE from the management.
This place is disgusting and I regret moving to this place. Nice I moved in November theres always been a problem with the unit. Wether is not washer and dryer not working, AC leaking, Dish washer, Now ROACHES. two pest control have came to the unit and it keeps getting worse and worse every time they came. The office is never open when their sign says they open at 9 and the website says 9 but they open whenever their heart desire. They DO NOT care what so ever.
Do not live here.If you are looking for old apartments, with constants problems and without enough parking lots, welcome to your new home! Otherwise, do not live here, common areas such as hallways or mails boxes are really dirty and unpleasant to see.Yes, it is one of the cheapest options, but you get what you pay for.
ROACH INFESTEDNEVER answers office phone for questions until day of move inWe booked move in for 10 am was called the day prior and had to move to 2 pm due to “ maintenance issues “ after getting the keys it took us 2 minutes to find tons of roaches and a lot of problems. the walls, doors, door handle, and inside of drawers had roach residue and they painted over it instead of cleaning it. they have pest control every Tuesday but they need either an exterminator or pest control coming every other day. Luckily we got to back out of the lease and got a refund. after returning a few days later we came back to get mail we had shipped there and found out SOMEONE WAS LIVING IN THE APARTMENT ALREADY. we had our apartment reserved for a month before our move in date. Knowing that someone was living there a few days later you can tell that they didnt deep clean the apartment prior to them moving. i will say the leasing agent that we were working with was very nice and we dont have any problems with the staff with them. i find it inhumane that they allow people to move in knowing there are roaches. if you have kids i would not recommend raise kids here. the other 20 reviews about roaches should also vouch that its not the cleanest place to live.
My son had not had a washing machine for four months. They have taken forever to fix it even after numerous requests. Then they come to fix the washer snd the first wash it breaks again. FOUR montjs not being able to wash and dry clothes. Yet rent has to be paid in full every month. Mission club Time to get things strengthen out!
I live here and I love that I feel safe when I am home or walking my dogs. I also love that it is clean and well cared for
Worst move-in experience I have ever gone through. AC not working properly for my first two weeks. The Hot Tub has never worked since day 1 more than 1.5 months ago. The pool has not been open for the past 4 weeks along with the resident car wash. The main problem however, appears not to be with the property, but with the property managers. Communication is almost non-existent and when you do get a response they never answer questions and offer only excuses. If you are in the process of looking for a place to live keep looking. This tenant feels cheated!
They created a second Google Maps address to get rid of their bad reviews. Search Mission Club Apartments in google maps. Everything is pretty much the same, the gym is a mess, all the gym equipment is terrible quality, the pool is always closed, they don’t assign you a personal parking spot, the gates are always open, and their online rent payment service doesn’t work properly. Now, they test the water of the complex all the time, so get used to have no water for hours in your apartment. I would give them one star, but there’s a new management team now and they are way more friendly than any other team from the past. It really seems like they’re trying to improve this place for the first time, but they still are far from being an efficient complex.
I should have put 0 but there was no zero so I could not. The management is worst and they will say they are not responsible for anything. Anyone can hit your car in parking or leave garbage outside your home. Management will charge you if seone leave garbage outside your home but they will say that resident is responsible to find out who is leaving trash outside your home. Its the worst experience I have had in Orlando.
Five stars is not enough to show how happy I am with Mission Club Apartments, especially in regards to the Leasing Consultants. The staff made me feel at home, even though I came from the other side of the country! Maintenance and office staff has always been a great help.
Does take some time to get some maintenance done but honest all the employees at this complex are really nice and make sure things get done.
DO NOT MOVE. Roach pest in every apartment is unbelievable and disgusting. Don’t move here if u have kids or pets. Find a clean apartment complex. Also too expensive for what they offer, everything here is poor value. Also no parking spot for apartment. They tool cars even when they have the sticker on. Please do more search and find a better place. Don’t even think about it!!!
Theres mold in the tubthe AC smells horribletheres cockroaches EVERYWHEREi mostly not choose this place ITS NOT THE BEST but it does have good quality.
Ive been living here roughly half a year now. No complaints. Its clean. The landscaping, especially around the pool, is beautiful- like resort-quality. The staff has always made an effort to be super friendly and are up-front and honest about answering questions.Rent can be paid online, so theres never trouble with that (mines set to autopay so there is literally 0 worry). Theres always plenty of space to park in the garage by my apartment. Again, no complaints.Maintenance team is very responsive and friendly! The perfect home ❤️
I just wanna advise you about this place please i beg you do not stay here this place full of bugs I am attaching the photos so you guys can see and i am leaving the please “don’t waist your time to talk with management they do not help you after you get the apartment so you are on your own and watch the kids if you have them my Neighbors kids was bit by bed bugs and they thru away all the furniture if you come to the place as soon as you enter from the gate you will see the dumpster so you can check it out the furniture my Neighbors been trow out new stuff soDO NOT STAY HERE
I like the pool, the complex is good and I like the design of the apartments
So far im very happy living here.
I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others. You Guys are Amazing!!!!
Horrible place to live! The office doesnt care about you and whenever you go to try to talk to them, they roll their eyes and barely help you. You barely get any notice when they are going to shut off important things like water. the walls are super thin, you can hear everything upstairs, downstairs, and outside, I would not live here if i were you.
The new apartments are really beautiful, is not a very quiet community, but that’s on the neighbors... Is very convenient for transportation in general, and it has a very nice staff. So far, in love with my new apartment
Nice place👍
The office staff is friendly and maintenance is helpful. Great location.
Very respectful staff and management takes action promptly. I love this place.
I recently moved out, but I had a great experience at this community. The location is amazing and the management company is great. The staff ladies are always very nice.
This apartment complex is in a great area, affordable price compare to the ones close to it. There is not a perfect place to live, I have my ups and downs but the management company always try their best for any of my issues. I believe you have to be happy in the environment where you choose to live if you don’t like it then leave. I always try to be a good neighbor and mind my own business, that is what everyone should do.
I’ve lived here since October 2016 and have had minimal issues living here. The maintenance staff always takes care of my issues right away and the office staff is always very attentive. I’ve had the pleasure of having the Regional Julia handle some issues I had timely and very professionally. Is the place perfect no, but I alway am always impressed with how they assist when it counts.
Mission Club Apartments is immaculate! The property is well maintained and very clean. The staff were beyond respectful of all my needs and wants. They were very nice! I will be applying TODAY! Thank you guys for your wonderful services! I look forward to working with you as your new resident :-)
I am a new resident of Mission Club and I love my apartment! I feel like I made a great decision moving here and noticed the professionalism and beauty since day one when I came in for the apartment viewing. The management staff was so nice I felt like I was already home when he showed me the apartment. I felt very comfortable with the atmosphere and with being a single mom I want to make sure I am safe and my daughter is as well. The amenities are perfect. I can take my daughter to the park/pool and when I have me time, I am in the gym! I am anticipating a long stay here until I buy my home. Love this place!!
My experience so far since May of 2018 has been a wonderful time. The management has been very respectful of any concerns that I have address and will work with you to find a meaningful resolution.I do agree, parking at night can be limited in your specific building area, most of the time you can find parking within walking distance or front office.Be a good neighbor, throw your trash away properly, and enjoy the apartment community by being inclusive.
Amazing place.
Great gym, has a nice pool with hot tub and gas/carbon grills. It has a small dog park, soccer court, basketball court, and a volleyball court. It has a small park for the kids too.
I toured the property the other day. Beautiful property, nice and clean. The prices were a lil too much for our budget. The lady at the front was very nice according to the papers her name is Heidys and gave us all the information we needed.
Thank you very much to management and maintenance team for taking care of the our apartment. This is a great place to be.Alex & ElenaB. 6 Apt 210
Nice clean environment nice luxury living
I moved to Mission Club in 2015, me and my family were very happy here, but after one year things started to change around here, we dont feel safe, the main gate is always open, its closed to leave the complex but open to everyone who wants to come in, go figure, now they change the management again, the pool has been closed for 3 weeks although the sign says it would be closed for 48 hours, last year in the summer it was also closed for renovation, what about the families with children that are on vacation?? This isnt fair at all, not mention the noisy neighbors that we complain but the administration dont take any actions,it is very sad, this is to be a nice residence place, last night coming from work I was very astonished to see all the garbage left in the entrance of the condominium, what is going on with this place? Do not recommend living here.
The new company actually is getting everything done. They respond fast to my request, the ladies at the office are very friendly. I love this location is very convenient for people like me that work close to it. Parking is an issue everywhere we have to deal with that. You would never find a perfect place unless you can afford it. Ive been in this apartment for over 4 years now, and I can say is gotten better.
Great community, nice front office staff. The property looks great and I loved the amenities.
I wish i added more syrup to my shaved ice
I would 100% never recommend anyone to ever live or work with Mission Club apartments. We filed several complaints about pests, which was a service that was supposedly included in rent and lease, but they never came to look at or fix the problem. The parking situation was ridiculous and unsafe. I spent many nights having to park on the furthest side of a gated (the gate to which was never closed) community from my unit and walk home to my apartment in the dark past the gym of the complex; this same gym was the site where someone was stabbed and robbed during our stay there. When we approached the staff with these concerns, they promised a better parking system and parking passes that were to be passed out to residents within the month, though that never happened. The office staff was often always rude, and never stuck to the posted office hours, though those hours didnt work well with a working persons schedule anyway). Many times we went to turn rent payment in while the office should have been open, but they would have closed early. The community printer never worked and was always out of ink that the office often refused to replace. Then when we needed to move out, I contacted the office staff to find out what we needed to do to move out cleanly and with no issues, the person who helped us originally sign our lease said that she would take note of it in our file, and that all we had to do was drop off the keys on the day we moved out, which is exactly what we did. However, they once again closed office early and we just barely got the person who was locking up at the time to let us turn in the keys. Fast forward to 8 months after moving out, 8 MONTHS, and now claiming that we had been mailed a move out statement (never received) and this was our second notice (never receiving a first noticed) and that we still owe them money. Mission Club was horrible to live and work with and had a completely unacceptable way of running a business.
I have been living at Mission Club for about a year now and can honestly say that all of the staff have been professional, friendly and very quick to resolve any issues. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly and I like being able to report them online or in person. I love my apartment and the grounds are beautiful, clean and very well maintained. The staff including Myrna and Becky are one of the reasons why I decided to stay another year!
That^s apartment it^s cool
When I moved to Florida from out of state I thought Mission Club was the best place. Its location on Idrive made getting anywhere easy. And for the first year it was okay. Yes there were struggles, but nothing that couldnt be fixed. If they fixed them at all. In the 2 years I lived there the pool has only ever been open a total of 3 months. I loved on the first floor and that was a huge mistake. I had a roach problem. They were everywhere, and the amount of times I reported it, the never called for pest control. There was damage done to one of my outside walls from Irma, and mold was growing in that wall making it a health risk for me and anyone in my apartment. My father was having a reaction so bad he couldnt stay in the apartment for more than an hour. Management has changed so many times i lost count. This last change they Lost my contract and went into my garage and threw everything out before changing the lock. But because they lost the contract they didnt inform me of any of this, until I found out my self. I had to call the sheriff to take care of a person packed in front of my garage blocking me in, something that they are supposed to do but refused. Leaving the sheriff telling me that it was their job. I missed everything I had to do that day because of the managements refusal to do part of their job.I could go on and on about this place. and the reason it got 2 stars is because when I first moved in, it was great. I am gone now, found a MUCH better place. But as for Mission Club. I will never recommend it to anyone. And I will be sure to share all of these, and many more reasons why. All in all, for your own health, and sanity, dont live here.
I wish I could say that my experience at this complex was better, but overall it was just very unpleasant. The complex itself is very old and run down, and I saw no noticeable changes to this in the year that I lived there, save for the management space, despite the complex going through at least three company changes in the one year I was living there.Outdoors - Always a mess. The trash was constantly overflowing, and I saw literal vultures outside by the trash more than once. Mold stains on the outside of apartment doors, and rust/peeling paint on all the outdoor metal surfaces (banisters, steps). The pool and hot tub were consistently in and out of service for maintenance, and I don’t think it was up and running for more than a month at a time. The gates were finally fixed when I had about three months left of a twelve month lease, however they are constantly kept open during the day. What’s the point of having a gate if it’s open half the time? During the 9 months that the gate was not working, I was given the run around whenever I asked about it. I was originally told they would be fixed within the month.Parking - If you work a night shift or get home late, don’t expect to be able to park anywhere near your apartment. Visitor parking is also taken up by the tenants constantly. There is just not enough spaces for the amount of people jammed into the apartments.Location - One of the few pros to this complex. It’s located right on I-Drive, with easy access to the rest of Orlando.Apartment - The apartment itself was small but nice and cozy, and the cheapest along this particular strip of I-Drive. Not worth it in my opinion. The walls and floors are very thin, so if your downstairs neighbor has a dog, children, or both, you will hear them constantly. Plenty of people playing loud music out of their garages or apartments at all hours of the night as well, so this is a good pick if you’re a heavy sleeper!Management - I believe at least three companies had ownership of the property while I lived there, and they just got worse, and worse, somehow. There was one manager that was actually good, and at least seemed genuine. The rest were incompentant at best. The ladies at the front desk were incredible however, and were always so sweet and helpful. I wish I remembered the super helpful manager’s name, or the incredibly sweet woman at the front desk who helped me so many times. The man that had been working the front desk for awhile consistently had an attitude every time my roommate or I went in.Move Out Process - This was a huge scenario all in itself, but there was a new manager there I had never met, who proceeded to be far less than polite. We agreed that I would mail in my key card by a certain date, I did with next day shipping, and she still charged me a $25 fee for it. Just incredibly sketchy business practice in that regard.I do hope this complex improves, and I wish the supportive and helpful managers and front desk employees the best, but I would never, ever live here again, and can’t recommend anyone else does either.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!! Save yourself the hassle!!! In the beginning everything was fine. Once move in day came, thats when the issues started. The keys were provided to us and as we enter the apartment we are greeted with cockroaches. There were PLENTY of them, in the kitchen, on the carpet, on the walls, in the bathrooms. It was absolutely disgusting!!! I called the assistant manager, Damaris Cruz, who stated pest control would go the next day and they would take care of it. At this point we are already turned off with the experience but we are hoping pest control really takes care of the issue. The following day we return to the apartment and pest control had been there because there were many dead roaches but there were still MANY live ones. We were then infuriated! What kind of living conditions are these?? There was no way my sisters and I would move in to that apartment. We went into the office and spoke with Damaris again who literally asked us, what would you like for me to do? regarding the situation. It seems as if shes used to this and expected us to just deal with it. We absolutely refused and asked for a refund which she then said Im not the one that makes decisions and proceeded to give us the regional managers phone number. We called Julia Comings who advised we could terminate our lease and then get our refund however never gave us an ETA for when to expect the check. She also failed to respond to several emails and phone calls as we simply wanted to follow up on the status of the refund. They had no consideration for our time, money or living situation. I have never experienced such unprofessional service especially from the assistant manager Damaris. She had an attitude every single time she had to interact with us. She always seemed bothered and never gave a direct answer. She never had any concern for our situation whatsoever. These people expected us to move in to an unsanitary apartment that was completely infested with roaches. As we stepped onto the carpet, the roaches were coming out of the sides of the carpet. It was so gross. Please spare yourself the time, hassle and headache. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I see a lot of bad reviews on here, but it does not correlate with what Mission Club is about. They are extremely friendly and helpful. I have put in same day requests to have my things fixed and it has been completed that day. The management is amazing! Just be a good person and be up front with management and they will do everything in their power to accommodate you. I have lived here almost a year and many changes have been made. They are fixing the gate, parking has been updated, the lawn service is great, and they have a new bug control company taking over any requests. Defiantly a great place to live! neighbors are typically very friendly as well!
I lived here for a year and the location is awesome! Lots of traffic but close to a lot of activities and shopping. The actual apartment was very nice but expensive. When it came time to renew our lease, they jacked the price up over $300 more. Not worth it for that price. My neighbors were absolutely insane and the worst part about living there. The garbage compactor was constantly broken and there would be GIANT mountains of trash just strewn about for days at a time.I forgot to purchase a new resident sticker for my vehicle and they called a towing company to have my truck taken away. It cost me $200 to get it out. :) that was fun. Good luck finding a parking space living there too lolWe had before and after photos of when we moved in vs when we left. We lived there for a year and took perfect care of the unit. Before we moved out, everything was thoroughly cleaned, but of course they still kept the deposit. Over $1000! When we tried to dispute it, the management would not answer the phone. They knew we moved out of state and couldnt show up in person.Seriously, do not move here. You will regret it.
Too expensive for a/c 1996 year, mold everywhere cant cope with this mold, especially on windows. Old vents grills roaches, ants. But maintenance is good. Pool doesnt work often. Find something else for that money
DO NOT MOVE here save yourself the headache. Move to any of the new places in this area.First and foremost there is never anywhere for you to park your car. One minute they are towing there own residents next minute they are telling you your parking permit means nothing. I was told it just proves i live here and it means nothing. Why do I need to prove that if it MEANS absolutely nothing.Next they have mold and are infested with roaches. There favorite line is “we have new management” “We just started and don’t know what’s going on”. They will find all different types of ways to put extra charges on you. Very misleading! According to them prices can change at anytime. Read your lease before signing. Don’t go off of there lies. Question everything because they are liars. Then they will tell you the employee that explained your lease no longer works here. Yea did she take my lease with her to?! Because apparently they can’t find my lease either. They have the worst customer service. They are rude to people I see it every time i step foot in that office. As soon as you walkout they will talk behind your back VERY loud. I actually avoid going near that office. As if you owe them something! The count down begins until the day I move out... This company is very money hungry.Just thought I would help someone else and save you the frustration.
Nice very nice
Lots of space nice touches especially in the kitchen I apreciate it the reason im not giving 5 stars is because there are ants even living on the second floor ants still manage to get in
I would rate it a 0 star but thats not an option. Dont rent at Mission club apartments in Orlando they are terrible, they dont respond to emergency calls, management finds and excuse for everything, and if your fire alarm goes off be prepared to sleep all night with the loud ringing.. 11am and its still going off. 10 hours and they have NOT made it a priority to turn the fire alarm off. No parking, gates barely work, not secure, apartments falling apart and they just paint over things such as water leaks to make it look nice for you to move in. Renovated? More like they just had extra time to double coat the walls with paint to cover stains and leaks. Hurricane damage? Be prepared to wait MONTHS for any repairs to happen. There was smoke coming out of my A/C unit at 1am in the morning and no one answers the emergency line, my family could barely sleep with the horrible smell and worried it would catch fire. Roach infestations, MOLD, rusted sinks, broken shelves, swollen wooden cabinets due to water damage, constant peeling paint, leaking/cracked ceilings, etc. I actually have a video showing the two men (from some contractor company) that came to my apartment MONTHS LATER AFTER HURRICANE IRMA DAMAGE TO PAINT OVER MAJOR LEAKS, AND LARGE VERTICAL/HORIZONTAL CRACKS IN THE WALL. The only good thing thats happened is that now Im more motivated to buy a house within the next year. So if you need that motivation then yeah, go ahead and risk renting at Mission Club Apartments in Orlando, Fl. Oh and if management reads this and wants to go ahead and give me their textbook response of Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns, we appreciate the feedback. Please stop in to the office etc. Heres what you can do for me, I asked to be compensated due to the fact that the fire alarm went off at 1am in the morning and I had to sleep in a hotel room for the night because the ear piercing noise was unbearable. I go back the next morning, fire alarm is still going off at 11am!! I was told NO, and given some excuse. If this fire alarm is a one time deal then compensation shouldnt be a problem, if you know the fire alarm is always going off and want to admit that, then yes I understand why you wouldnt compensate because youd be paying for me to sleep in a hotel very often. So let me know, because I still have the bill nice and crisp.
It is really spacious. I like it
Hello everyone! I moved to Mission Club in October and have liked it alot so far! There was a few problems with my apt initially but they were usually fairly quick with work orders. I use gym regularly, as well as the pool. The location is great. Overall Ive had a good experience at Mission club.
DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (ROACH INFESTED, RUDE MANAGER, UNRESPONSIVE TO CALLS/EMAILS, ETC.)My sisters and I applied for an apartment at Mission Club and all was fine and dandy until move-in day. First, the apartment was supposed to be ready on the 26th, but that morning they were still cleaning and advised us to come back in the afternoon, which at that point wasnt a big deal. Second, they just handed us the papers and the keys, no one walked us through the apartment to complete the move-in inventory. On top of that, when walking into the apartment we were greeted by cockroaches (and a good amount of them, too). We complained to the office, of course, and they advised theyd be sending Pest Control for follow up treatment so we left it at that. The next day, Pest Control seemed to have visited the apartment, but there still was live roaches and they seemed to be living UNDER THE CARPET. We tried to vacuum and clean, but I was just plain unsanitary. We spoke to the assistant manager, Damaris, and expressed our concerns and asked to be moved to a different unit. She wasnt very concerned about us being unhappy and said they had no more 3/2 units available. At that point, we decided we just wanted our deposit and move-in fees refunded because we refused to live in those conditions (we have a 1 year old and my sister is also allergic to roaches). She said she would reach out to her regional manager since she was only an assistant manager to see what could be done. The regional, Julia Comings, was contacted and advised since we were unhappy with the apartment we could proceed to terminate the lease and get our money refunded. We turned in the keys, as we were directed to do, but we werent given any timeline or information in regards to our refund. We continuously reached out via phone or email and received different information each time or no answer at all. We even came in to the office various times and were given ATTITUDE by the supposed assistant manager DAMARIS. She was rude every single time and unhelpful. She could never give us a straight answer (GIVING US THE RUNAROUND) or ETA on our refund, she just referred us to the regional, Julia, who rarely answered her phone or emails. We had such a good initial impression with the leasing consultants, but were definitely bamboozled. This just shows how much theyre willing to do just to lease a unit, with no consideration for the tenants at all. We are extremely unsatisfied and DISGUSTED with the lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and just plain bad impression this complex and company have given us. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
I do not recommend this place.- Horrible communication between staff members to complete tasks.- Becky is the only person in the office who knows what she is doing. Everyone else has no clue what to do with anything and some of the newer front desk employees are extremely rude.- It takes them forever to do anything, so be prepared to annoy them to get things done.- Everyone in the complex just got a notice that they are doing away with the online resident portal, so all rent payments, complaints, maintenance issues, etc must be done in person at the office. Oh and by they way, because of this, they now only accept personal checks and cashiers checks. No cards or money orders. This is hard for anyone in my situation who is never here when the office is open because of my work schedule. I guess it doesnt help that help the time, I try to go in before work, no one had shown up to open the office even though it should already be open. Additionally, there have been times when I have walked in and called out asking if someone was in there, and no one answered.- The Jacuzzi has been broken for well over a year.- Other residents are rude and blast music well into the night and hang out at the pool even though it closes at 8.- We have to fight for parking and before I decided to pay an extra $100 per month for a garage, I had to illegally park because there were no available spots.Stay away from this complex.
DO NOT MOVE!Horrible Customer service, they have changed administration at least 3 times in less than a year, the new administration is HORRIBLE, they wont work with you AT ALL. Charging fees like crazy without explanation or letter, saying that theyre fixing previous mistakes from the last administration. This is so frustrating, better pay $50 or more per month than carrying this headache for a year.
So far none of our complaints about our noisy neighbors have been heeded. The apartment above us has no regard for the children in the building who might be sleeping, and sound really travels here. I have complained to the office several times, via e-mail I admit, but no one has ever got back to me. Tonight when I called the office and tried to leave a message the phone rang for over a minute and never went to voice mail. Love the family atmosphere during the day and the apartment is beautiful. But, the noisy neighbors and the lack of a response from the office are becoming too much. We will move when our lease is up.
Mission Club Used to be nice under the previous management, but now just stay awayOr run away, dirty hallways you cant breathe because of smoking, they dont wash and clean the hallways any more under the current management. They charge too much for the rent. Its hard to find a parking for your car. They charge you for everything separated e.g Water used to be included with your rent now not any more, washing machine and dryer used to be included now not any more plus additional 25$ for trash do your math beforemoving to mission impossible!!!!
Im sorry i live here at mission club and maintence doesnt care about anything trash everywhere almost 20000 dollars worth and its not even pretty OR affordabble i live here because i have no choise but just live here for a year and you will have nighmares.
I would never recommend this complex to anyone! They do not value residents at all... I see them work on upgrading apartments, while I have been waiting MONTHS for maintenance on my AC! Great location, horrible management! Id suggest paying the extra money and moving to one of the recently built apt communities down the street!
Absolute trainwreck of a business.Dont give them a dime of your money. If you have to, however, make sure you document EVERY dealing with them. Take pictures of your place before and after, make them give you a receipt of payment every month that you pay rent, and take a video of yourself turning in your keys when you move out or apparently, theyll charge you for extra time that you didnt live there, and after nearly three months of trying to contact them and their customer care department, youll still be saddled with the bill. Communication is obviously not one of their strong suits here, and the fact that the office is never open when you arent at work doesnt help at all.Oh, and if youre going to live here, make sure you have plenty of pest control products handy and maybe have someone walk you from your car back to your apartment when you get home after work because youll almost undoubtedly be parking extremely far from your building and walking past the gym where a man was stabbed and robbed during my lease there.
This place is ok for a starter apartment but its not luxurious even though it is in a good location. It is close to shopping and restaurants but as far as the look of the place on the inside and outside, theres no WOW factor. But two stars for location.
Visited to ask about leasing information and the front desk lady was very rude. She laughed in our face when we told her our price range (which we took from their site) and just came off very disrespectful. We were honestly interested in these apartments but no longer.
Be aware!!!! This unit have mold issues. Lack for management supervision. That Becky person is not reliable at all, very rude, only treat certain residents like her best friend she is only looking for a Property Manager position. rent are very expensive, we still have raccoon problems, roaches, loud music after hours in the pool area... I dont think most of the good reviews are true . Dont ever recommended this place to live. DID I TOLD U MOST OF THIS UNIT HAVE MOLD!!!!!
DONT LIVE HERE Dirty and has mold in a bad way. The water heater/ac has a horrible smell. Water from the faucet is putrid smelling and the units are infested with cockroaches. No parking spaces and rude staff when you call or go to the office. This is the worst property ive ever lived at and Ive lived in places where the rent was 1/3 the price. Dirty, smelly, wont clean up the trash, you can see an entire wall of bags and refuse in front of the dumpster on the weekends. Will charge for anything they can, dismissive of any issue called about, I had to change my own air filter as maintenance ignored my multiple requests to look at the water heater. DO NOT LIVE HERE THE RATINGS ARE CORRECT THEY DO NOT GIVE A DARN ABOUT ANYONE REGARDLESS OF HOW MUCH MONEY YOU DUMP INTO THE RENT. Worst experience with any property ive been at and will make sure to advise any prospective buyers that this is the WRONG place to live. Cannot stress enough how dirty, smelly and infested the entire property is. You open the door in the morning and the whole place smells like raw sewage, STAY AWAY.
TERRIBLE. I have had nothing but issue after issue living here. The management does absolutely nothing about the safety of their tenants. A young couple was found dead in their apartment, and another person was stabbed in the gym. The gate is open at all times and has been broken for over a year now. Which is a safety concern. There are people at the pool every single night until 4am blasting loud music keeping me up all night when I have work early. I have contacted and spoken to the manager personally about this 4 different times, and still it continuously happens. This place is overpriced and they decide to raise everyones rent $100 the end of your first year. Ridiculous considering there is no concern for safety here. And it took them two weeks to fix a leak in my roof during rainy season.
Very dissapointed with this place. It could have been great. Scorpion was found INIDE the apartment. Yes you read that right ...Ive never seen a scorpion until I lived at mission club. Many roaches and even saw a rat running upstairs. Walls are paper thin and so noise levels are unacceptable. Floors creak and so you can hear people above and below you. This is a problem for all apartments here. I checked with the neighbors. Nobody is happy in this place and some of the residents are very loud--treating the pool and common areas like its a 24/7 party zone. This place has potential but management has failed--Myrna, Austin, Maurice do your jobs guys this is unacceptable
If I could rate a zero I would. This was the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Fire ants and rats!! Stay away! One picture I posted is of a hole that a rat chewed thru the wall to get into our apartment. We complained for months and the problem only got worse! The other picture is of a crack in the floor where fire ants came from and attacked me when I stepped out of bed! The crack never got fully covered. Management changes so much everytime you go to the office ( if its even open!) a new person is there. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.
Ive never rented till I moved to Orlando. I was looking for a place to rent back in January . First of February we moved in here. I have no issues with loud neighbors, or smoke in the hallways or packages stolen. I was told that bugs are hard to keep out of your apartment but so far, I have seen none. They pressure washed the halls a few months back, trash pickup during the week and convenience of amenities was not what I was expecting. Its also close to everything. Back home, Id have to drive 27 miles just to get to a Walmart.
Buyer beware!!! They over charge and underspend for the tenants! Meaning you over pay in rent. You cant park anywhere yet they charge you for a pass to park on the property. You move in and point out the faults you would like fixed so that youre apartment is whole then they never get fixed but its written in their book it was fixed. They buy propane for the grills youre supposed to be able to use when you want once a month meaning they spend 60$ a month for all tenants?!? So when they are out youre out of luck and they are really rude about it Things get stolen around here so lock your car. The only plus here is that one of the maintenance men actually knows what they are talking about and, is respectful I am very unpleased with the overall treatment at this apartment complex.
Worst place to live ...When I moved in 6 month ago everything was broken, they did not check the apartment before I moved, I moved from Kentucky and after 14 hours drivind to get there the date they were suposed to give me the key, they told me they have a problem with the key,and when I finally got it the apartment was open,Then they gave me the wrong mail box key,I could not get my mail for 2 week and the last thing after Hurricane Irma I got a broken window, they went there next day and told me they were going to fix it next day. After a week I called office and they told me next they, and it was like that for 4 weeks,,,With the broken window my AC did not stop at any time and the weather is to hot to turn it off,so my energy bill was really expensive and when I told them that, and ask them for a discount on my rent bill, they just told me,,that was not their problem and I have to pay the full amount or move somewhere else
Its the best place to live in Orlando, it is near to everything and the apartments are awesome. Love the pool and the gym too.
Service is terrible and rent is high! Trash not picked up and pool out of service. Would not recommend renting here!
The pool is awesome...gym..basketball and tennis court...love it if you like sports
Check the ACTUAL unit you will be leasing before signing anything. We were shown The model thinking that everything would be the same; floors, cabinets, bathroom, etc. Totally different when we moved in. Which by the way, the apartment was not ready for the signed move-in date. For the inconvenience, we were given a pool view for the same monthly payment which by the way was not cleaned or inspected. Just awful place, so old. Roaches everywhere. The worst service, if any service. This place shouldnt even be in this side of town.
The management in this place is a jokeWork orders are hardly ever completed yet they survey and ask how was the job done even when it never been doneThe pool maintenance is poor, people complaint about being sick because there is mold in the apts, they have a tow truck driving around at night towing peoples vehicles management is always changing thats why they cant keep track of paper work or anything that is pendingor needs attention the office personnelare very unprofessional the only thing that they keep track of is rent money or anything regardingMoney. A big rip off ps becarefull going up the stairs they feel loose like they are about to collapse
Never come here they will waste your time, money and gas. They request from me 150 $ for holding an apartment for me and after 2 day they call me and say that the apartment is no more available. Horible management and they treat you like you are nothing and nobody.
Everything about this place is a complete nightmare. Good luck finding parking here if you don’t have a garage to start with. If you do have a garage you’re going to need to save new generation towing’s phone number..but good luck getting them to tow anything because they won’t even if you have a lease to the garage. And let’s mention neighbors you really don’t want a first floor apartment 2nd is preferable because most 3rd floor units are one bedroom and you’re not allowed to address your neighbors without Julia attempting to threaten to evict you for freedom of speech when your neighbors are in clear violation of The Noise Control Act of 1972. Pretty poor management I am actually appalled...I was asked today “Why did I even renew my lease if I didn’t like the atmosphere.” By -Julia (regional manager) needless to say everything you read in the reviews are true these apartments are infested with roaches there are nightly parties by the pool until 2am-3am Maintance will fix issues. However, with the small budget that they receive to do their jobs they get next to nothing done due to prioritizing which isn’t their fault. This apartment complex has undergone 5 changes in management within the last 2 years this last one being because the owner of the apartment complex bought the management company. All the employees from the poorly rated BH management remained. I can not believe I have to say this in good faith DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! The extra 100$ to start your life is well worth it somewhere else. You won’t have to deal with roaches poor management and last but not least Julia of all people.
Trash is always piled up daily at the front gate where the compactor is and people are always dumping furniture, old paint buckets, obvious construction waste. Unsupervised children hang out here to toss around old tvs, drywall pieces, buckets, furniture, etc. Caught one guy on a bike riding through here stopping and looking into cars front windows. Very Large dogs seem to be allowed around here too. Cars dropping off and picking up kids hang out in the entrance and exit when the school busses come around so you better look out. So many people just walk around in the pajamas, robes, old lady nightgowns, disgrace. This used to be such a nice community. Central Florida, at least, is not the place to be.
When a Tennant moves out, they replace the carpet in every apartment. If you have a pet, they keep your deposit and say its to replace the carpet. Scammers
Looks nice just had no availability at the time
I was a resident here for a year. .. where to begin. I show up in my uhaul on moving day and there was a coroner and news vans outside... to report the murder suicide that happend two buildings away from me. Welcome home. Lets continue ..The units themselves are infested .. from roaches to sugar ants to lawn shrimp out side. The amenities while I lived there were constantly under renovation and at one point the pool was closed because there was glass in it. The dumpster would overflow with trash which is visible as soon as you enter the complex. Once inside good luck parking unless you pay extra to have a garage. The hallways were disgusting. Dont let them fool you when they say they are working on the gate. I was charged for 2 gate keys and in the year I lived there no once did the gate work. Nor was I refunded my money when I left. The most detrimental thing about living there was after I moved out. I bought my first home and management refused to be cooperative. I needed a simple verification of rent and they never responded. I called dozens of times and never got an answer. I showed up to the office in person and they offered no help. My loan officers faxed paperwork over 3 times and they claimed they never received or talked to anyone. My realtor showed up to the office and they still provided nothing. The office manager was less help. She said she would send the paperwork to us and never responded. Be aware to anyone who moves here its not just the miserable time and wasted money you spend here, its risking your health, security and future home buying opportunities.
Worst apartment management Ive yet to experience. Unbelievably rude and inattentive staff in the front office, literally walked into the office to them talking bad about a previous guest. Not in the least bit professional or caring, wouldnt recommend this place to ANYONE. DO NOT MOVE HERE. GARBAGE STAFF. Absolutely ridiculous. Would give negative stars if possible.
You have been warned. I read reviews of this complex and I didn’t think anything of them because from the outside it looks great. But we have major bug issues, the apartment is dirty, THE PARKING IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS (if you aren’t home by 5 be prepared to park in the front in visitor parking and walk to your apartment. They claim tow trucks come every night and remove the cars that don’t belong but I have never seen one truck) management is hard to get ahold of and you have to beg for certain things to get taken care of, the vallet trash company is rude and you will get in trouble for things beyond your control. I am so fed up with everything.
