I brought my car into Ibbs to investigate some engine noise following a timing belt replacement. They located the noise, explained why it was present and how it may have originated and then provided service advice specific to my vehicle (which in this case was that it probably didnt require service). They were welcoming, professional and punctual and wouldnt even let me pay them for the diagnosis. I couldnt recommend them more highly!

Ibbs is the auto service shop you hope youll run into anytime your car is in trouble. My 3 friends, an infant, and I were stranded on our way back from Boston and after being quoted $700+ by Oceanside Auto, we found Ibbs while desperately searching local shops.The hand of God brought us to Ibbs Auto Service. Jim and everyone on the staff are down to Earth and real. Theyre loud, the laugh, theyre encouraging, and theyre fair with their prices.Although Ibbs is a smaller shop than Oceanside, the people are genuinely nice. Even though they could have taken full advantage of our situation (as Oceanside Auto did) they had compassion on us and charged us what was fair for the labor and alternator.We ended up paying about $500 and even though we came after their closing hours (wed gone out to eat) They waited for us and greeted us cheerfully.Were not from this region or state and even though wed had so many trying and difficult experiences in this area, I can safely say that Ibbs Auto service and Jim represent to us all that is good in this region.He even recommended a place for us to eat (Zhangs) which was absolutely delicious.Thank you for such a healing and restorative experience.
