I read the reviews. However, only opinion that matters to me is my sons & we dont know til we try out a place. Online booking was quick and easy! They use apps for payment which is so great for someone like me who rarely carries cash! The vibe and conversations in this business was comforting, fun & so chill -- like visiting family/friends yet in a professional manner. My son knew what he wanted for his haircut and Aaron delivered it 3x better. Had my son looking at himself in the mirror & feeling extra confident!! Well be returning because my son says so! 😁😁

I just moved to the area. Ive gone to 3 other barbers before visiting Cornerstone. The other three were good. However, Cornerstone has the skill and customer service that I was looking for. I sat in the chair and didnt really feel the haircut. Lol. But when I looked in the mirror, I looked sharp. On point! I walked out feeling like I can take on the world. Amazing!

I have been going to Cornerstone Barber Shop since it opened last year. I have never felt unsafe or uncomfortable during my times there. I do not know what axe the previous 1 star reviewer has to grind with this establishment, but his comment about the tools and towels in uncalled for. I have observed the barbers sweeping the floor after every haircut and have always had fresh towels used on me. As for us customers not masking up... do you know how hard it is to get a good fade and a beard trim while wearing a mask?Enough about that other reviewer perceptions.... on to the nuts and bolts. Aaron is a great guy and does a great job with hair. He is good at what he does because he listens to you. That puts him far ahead of other barbers who are stuck in their ways and not willing to change. Whether you want a professional cut, or something more urban or hip; Aaron can do it all.Good atmosphere, good conversation, and good service. I recommend Aaron and Cornerstone Barber Shop to anyone needing light trim, or a full blown cleanup (both kids and adults). I will continue to be a customer, pandemic or not.

I brought my biracial son to get his hair cut here because we live in an area that doesnt have anybody that has a lot of experience with cutting his type of hair. I will say not only was his haircut AMAZING, but it was one of the most positive and uplifting experiences for my son to date. He left there feeling so good about himself in a way I havent seen. We will absolutely be returning...and we live almost 6 hours away.

Came in here with my friend, and saw how well they cut his hair, so I came in and got my hair cut, and I was extremely impressed. This barber shop is by far the best barber shop I have ever been too. You tell them how you want your hair cut and they get it exactly right. Very friendly and always respectful. If you want a fade or any other type of hair cut go to cornerstone barbershop, they will get you right. Best barber in Kansas City

Have not used barber shops before but now I will return as a loyal customer. Was clean establishment with Aaron being quite friendly that had me relax and enjoy the entire time i was there. I was always focused on getting a hair cut ands get out. Loved the entire talk and experience.

I scheduled an appointment with Aaron online two days in advance. I arrived for my 6:15 appointment at 6:00. At 6:08, Aaron sat a young man in his chair and asked me to bear with him as he was running a few minutes behind. I said no problem. What I proceeded to observe for the next hour that I waited was nothing short of a business failing. I watched Aaron and the other barber stop their work and talk to each other constantly. Then they would stop their work to talk/flirt with the mom of one of their clients. This was obviously the reason they run behind with their scheduling. Not because theyre short on barbers or very busy. No, they simply cant talk without using their hands to do so and take away from their work. They need to learn to talk and do their jobs or keep their mouths shut and just do their jobs. Obviously, theyre incapable of doing both. I also observed the other barber not wearing a mask stating he was done with it. Didnt make me feel welcome as a customer whos spouse has an immune issue.So when Aaron was finally ready for me to sit down in his chair at 7:07, that is when I learned they only accept cash and no debit or credit cards. With no cash on me, I was forced to accept that I just wasted a little over an hour of my life with an incompetent, unprofessional barbershop.So in summary: shut your mouths, do your job and post your accepted payment methods. You know, like a professional business would do.

Cornerstone Barber shop is the only place I’ll go for a cut, they are clean, professional, and courteous. Aaron always gets me looking right and he’s always consistent with his cuts. I highly recommend you check it out, you will not be disappointed!

Only been here a couple of times but both times the Barber was professional and quick/good at his job, has my son looking like a whole new gentleman by the time we leave. Friendly and relaxed environment, as well as reasonably priced, (if your kiddo has pesky calics, Darrin knows what hes doing!!!) I highly recommend if youre looking for a good barber!

Great cut by Aaron and a great clean up and trim on the beard and brows. Good fellas, and an all-around fine barbershop experience. If youre reading this its worth the trip to see Aaron or Darrin. I used online booking, which once I figured it out, worked fine.
