Doug is a great barber with a terrific personality. Appointment is required, but I can always obtain my hair cut within a few minutes of the appointment time. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful experience here! This gentlemen has a fantastic establishment with a number of WW2 pieces hung up, and a wall of honor for his family who has served. He has fair prices for the quality of cut you’re receiving, and he also offers a veterans/military price which is great. If you’re looking for a great haircut in town, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Ive been searching for a good barber for some time, and now that search is over! These people are great, they did a fantastic job cutting my hair and trimming up my bushy beard. I dont know that Ill be going anywhere else but here.

First time here on recommendation of a friend. Doug did an excellent job on my comb over fade. Wife says its the best my hairs ever looked and thats what matters most, right?? Haircut, beard and eyebrow shape up, all for $16 (+tip) is a real bargain! Will definitely be coming back!

Great place to get your hair cut! I have been looking for a place that was affordable and did a great job for a long time. With being prior military I am very particular about how it is cut. Ive been getting my haircut here for over a year. Ive been to more upscale barber shops in the Johnson County area that amounted to smoke and mirrors... Ernies is great! Good atmosphere, fair prices, and Clint is talented in his work.

Extremely happy I came here! Looking for a great cut in Olathe, I would definitely recommend it here. The atmosphere was great, family friendly, and prices are great! And to top it off, the cut was even better! I usually cut my own hair, but I can safely say I will gladly be paying Clint to handle it for me from now on!

Called ahead on a Friday wand was told walk-ins were fine. Got there and told only appointments come back Saturday. Go back Saturday at 11:30, sign says open until 1 and walk in. Guy tells us rudely that he is closed. (He could have said he was closing early the day before if that was the case.)

Went in today for the first time trying to get a Contour haircut, and the Barber knew exactly what I wanted. This is one of the best barbershops I have been to in the KC area. Has a great atmosphere with great prices on haircuts for men as well!

I actually work right down the street from Ernies Barber Shop and just started going here a couple months ago because a stranger recommended it. Clint is the one that cuts my hair, but they are both awesome guys there. The atmosphere to the chit chat and how you are treated is awesome. I havent gone to another place to cut my hair since. If you are in the Olathe area, this is the place to go to cut your hair and its worth the whole $12-$15, Believe Me! Im going there now...........

Best haircut Ive had in KC. Both Doug and Clint give amazing haircuts and are great to talk to.Sometimes you may need to schedule an appointment a week out or more but its definitely worth it. Walk ups on Saturday only so get there early. Make sure you bring cash.

Great place for a guy to get a haircut. Decorated with historic WWII memorabilia, its an inviting experience with friendly people and entertaining conversation.Call ahead for a time slot during the week, but walk in on a Saturday. With three barbers on Saturday, the wait isnt long.

As you may imagine I can be quite picky and I was very impressed with Clint who recently moved to the area from a shop in Topeka. He was very professional and personable. Highly recommended.

I have been getting my hair cut at Ernie’s for the past 20 years. Even brought my kids in for haircuts. This place is a real barber shop where guys get their hair cut. Not a lot of fufu gimmicks like the chain stores. Just good old BS (Barber Shop) stuff. Guy and Kid friendly.Doug has taken the shop back in time with lots of WWII pictures and collectables. Don’t be afraid to stop in say hi.

I really want to like this place... Ive had a few hair cuts there and the quality just depends on who cuts your hair. It ranges from really good to awful. Like I said, I really want to like this place and Ive now had 3 bad hair cuts in a row. I just cant do it anymore.......

I meant to write a review awhile back but I wasnt sure how to. I would like to say Im rather new to Kansas and finding a barber all over again is quite frustrating. Last barber cut up my scalp pretty good which I didnt know until I put shampoo in my hair and starting burning and saw some blood. I walked in this little barber shop not knowing what to expect. Barber took care of me real good. I let him know about my past experience and he told my write away that something was wrong with the other guys clipppers which mean he didnt maintain them like you should. It was funny because he was being really careful with my scalp. He faded pretty well and gave me a clean shave with that old school single razor. Lets just say I know where Im going when the misses gets on me about my hair.

Clint did a 5 star job on my beard. Very unruly beard!If you have a beard or goatee Clint is THE MAN. You will recognize him cause he has the sweet beard!

No reason to go here if youre a new client as they keep their schedule busy with the regulars who keep them constantly busy. Clint has such a huge clientele that he said if one cancels he may be able to fit me in. Dont bother, I prefer to be the priority if Im the client. You cant be that good that you dont need new clients. Its a shame that you cant get a cut unless youve been a client for a long time.
