This is an incredible management company! This company makes all of our concerns into consideration and fixes our issues in a very timely manner! The old management company ignored our requests. Since this company has taken over we have seen a huge improvement! I am so thankful for the change and the response time of the new management!
They list properties they’ve already found tenants for so you can pay for the application. Bad business, rude customer service, and very dishonest.
As a Seller-We used Josh to list and sell our house in 2020-2021. The Buyers flaked out first time, many other struggles to get it closed the second time. Josh worked harder than any other realtor would have to bring it to closing. Absolutely went well above and beyond. We were 1000 miles away, helpless for the most part to resolve any issue without 18 hours driving.If youre considering selling, Josh was able to close our house 50k above any other realtors estimate.Well Done Josh and Linda!

LOOK FOR ANOTHER company. RUDE PEOPLE. Not friendly. I called for the 1st time. Lady answering the phone is not educated and keep talking over people. When she finally let me talk and finally answered my question then she said can I hang up now? To make it worse manager took the phone and said we have nothing more to clarify. Good luck with them!
I met with Wendy and she was very professional and knowledgeable about the rental process. She showed me several properties within my budget and helped me understand what each property offered. I will definitely continue to do business with Crossroads Realty specifically because of Wendy’s help.
WENDY DISAPPOINTED ME!!!!!!!DONT DONT DONT RENT FROM THESE SCAMMERS, I rented from them and had issues with the house the entire time, I took screenshots of all mt maintenance requests because they actually never fixed the issues, I had to pay double deposit when i moved in of totaling 1900.00, I gave proper notice and cleaned the property, and passes their inspections, there was black mold growing all on top of the roof over the fridge and I kept telling them it is getting worse but they did absolutely nothing about it. Then I recorded my call with Wendy cause I didnt want any issues about my deposit due to receiving a letter saying I didnt give notice even though i sent a certified letter as stated in my lease, she said no no thats an auto generated letter, which I have her recorded saying this, a week later I received a letter from them saying I FORFEITED MY DEPOSIT and it had absolutely no reason, the cleaning or damages boxes all said 0 damage so when I called them WENDY said you need to WRITE a letter to JOSH WHO IS JOSH?????? 2YRS and never heard of a JOSH!!!! AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME, AND THEY NEVER NEVER HAD 1 ISSUE OUT OF ME AND I HAD BEEN dealing with this old moldy house break down Air, electricity messed up so I WILL BE SUEING THEM!!!! THE ELECTRICITY IS MESSED UP THERE IS BLACK MOLD IN THE ROOF, THEN THEY IMMEDIATELY PUT UP A FOR RENT SIGN. DONT RENT 5714 SE 4TH STREET OR ANY PROPERTY FROM THEM!!!!!!! WENDY WAS ALWAYS NICE UNTIL I GAVE NOTICE AND THEN THEY TOTALLY SWITCHED UP ON ME... YOU WERE WARNED!!!!!

DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS COMPANY!!!I am a very honest person,and I feel like this company could’ve been more straight forward about a couple of things. I feel like this company told me what I wanted to hear so I would apply for this property. They told me before I applied for the place that at that moment they didn’t except any applications yet and the property I was looking at was off the market 3 hours after I applied for my application which they told me it takes 3 days for them to review an application so I feel like that was shiesty. Another thing, was before I put in an application they said that if for some reason I didn’t get the property They could transfer my application to another house instead of having to pay all over again. They never said that if I got denied for this house I couldn’t use that same application for another house. I feel like that is wrong because every house has a different value that’s why houses range from different prices. I feel like the way they have their applications set up is wrong and if they would’ve told me that if I got denied I wouldn’t be able to get any other property in their company I wouldn’t of paid for my application fee because I could’ve used that money for another house that I can get into. I understand property managements are built a curtain way but they should at least be honest in the beginning about how their company operated. I feel like this company is a scam for your money because how can you have someone apply for a house that you know you already sold and why tell someone that you can transfer your application for another place if for stoome reason you can’t get the place they should’ve told me in the beginning that if I didn’t get accepted the application wouldn’t work for other houses. I feel like I wasted my time looking into this property management. But I know now that this isn’t the company to go .
Nice employee, stayed late to allow me to visit property. Ended up not renting since someone else rented the place my wife and I put in an application for. Our app fee was refunded.

I applied for a property that said it was available on there website. I called to check on my application status and I was informed that property had been rented out. I called to talk to Angela who seem to not be in the office when I call. Point is they proceeded my application knowing the property I applied for was rented out. Stating to me they will keep my information on file. I will not be renting from them ever. That was my first experience and last encounter with touchstone. First expression are everything and they definitely did not make a good one.
I have been living at a property for close to two years now. Crossroads has worked really well with me. This has been the first time of me having my own place and Josh Brown has been great to assist me. They have also always been fast on my maintenance requests for me. Just today for instance my ac thermostat stopped working and I called Crossroads and put in a maintenance request for it. 2 hours later someone came and fixed it for me. My sink had a leak in the bottom of it a few months ago...Josh drove right over himself to look at it and see what was wrong with it and he then called a sink repair man and they came and fixed it the next day on a Saturday. If you talk to them right and not with an attitude they won’t have an attitude with you. They have also, kept my rent down each year to the same when it is supposed to go up in price $10. This has been a great little starter place for me and I can not thank Crossroads enough for helping me when needed. They have been great. Thank you.
I just spoke with Wendy, She was extremely rude and i am shocked by how she had spoken to me she has no manners or respect when I only requested a to have a letter sent to me stating the reason why I was denied for a rental property. This had been going on for a month n still nothing i wouldnt do any business with this company...EVER... if I could give 0 stars I wouldWrong applicant I never came to I guys location only over the phone interaction with Wendy. If she would have done her job the first time and if she had some home training on how to speak to customers u guys wouldn’t be receiving such a negative review. Her name is mentioned n damn near every bad review which should tell u guys SHES THE PROBLEM!!!
I have rented from 4 different companies and this is by far the ALL TIME BEST company I have EVER even thought about going with. Mr. Brown is not just extremely professional but he is completely understanding. When I first signed my lease it was with a roommate and needless to say 3 months into the least my roommate up and vacated the property leaving me to do everything on my own. Mr. Brown personally helped me though the process and I was able to stay in this beautiful home that I am renting. Not only was he considerate of me but also of my son and that was what was most heart felt. And when it comes to their maintenance team Danny, Dale, and Mike are superior this trio is enough to make me want to rent with this company until I buy my own home... hopefully through this company. They are skilled knowledgeable and very patient. I have a 2 year old son who was eager to tag along with his tool box in hand to help and instead of over looking him and rushing to finish their job they took the time out to play pretend with him while tending to the maintenance needs at my home. This company is living proof that there are still GREAT people in the professional world and I am glad I am rent with them

Tried getting a rental through them. Put in my husbands application and she said I had to do one myself. So I spent $100 on application fees. My husband called to make sure there wouldnt be anything that would hold us back from getting a place. We waited two weeks for someone to call us and let us know how much we would have to pay deposit wise. The realtor told us worst case scenario we would have to pay double deposit. Finally my husband calls them to see whats going on and we find out we werent approved because we didnt have a 600 credit score. This was not mentioned before we even applied! They knew the situation with our current landlord and said it wouldnt be a problem. I just feel like she couldve mentioned the credit score issue before I spent $100 I really didnt have.
I dont know what everyone is talking about. I never had a problem with Crossroads Realty. I was a tenant with them for a year and they never gave me a problem. Every time I called for something they always fixed it within that day or the next day. The customer service there is great and they were never rude or disrespectful to me. Everytime I have a friend who is looking for a place I recommended them to Crossroads Realty. Keep up the good work everyone!!!
When they took over they said my dog wasnt a problem then 6 months to a year later we were threatened with an eviction I wouldnt rent a dog house from them they should just close down
Do not use them for property management! They were great for four years and then went downhill fast! The office has no idea whats going on half of the time. The owner Linda thinks she can do whatever she wants and speak to people however she pleases. The property manager yells, degrades and is just plain out rude. We had decided to give him a second chance because he apologize. He got our house sold but hes rude and condescending. I had never sold a house before so I had questions and instead of answering them politely he would get irritated and act as if I was causing him inconvenience. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are slime and just out to get money.**EDITED TO ADD** The company has attempted to respond to my review and didnt even manage to address the actual issue. I was not a RENTER I was an OWNER who used this company for 4 consecutive years.
Im been a tenant for 8 Years and never had a problem, every time I call for a work order they been there the same day or the next day . They are good people, kind and understanding. They are a full service real estate and property management. I will always recommended them .

If I could give them a lower review, I would. There were a number of cats on the property when I moved in. I had to do a number of flea treatments in my home personally. After I trapped and rehomed every cat on the property, they charged me $338 for a flea treatment. My water was cut off because they failed to pay the bill. Another time they sent me a notice to pay rent or vacate after I had paid rent in full several days prior. When they first took over this property they told me multiple times I had a balance of over $1,000, which was incorrect. Upon further review it was my security deposit which they had failed to collect from the previous property managers. Absolute slumlords. I hated to take this to the internet but they leave me no choice. When I called just now to dispute the unbelievably expensive flea treatment out of my security deposit, they refused to speak to me and told me to send a certified letter. By a landslide these are the worst property managers I have ever worked with. Total slumlords, do NOT rent from them.
I really wish I could give them even less than one star. My husband and I were great, reliable tenants for two years with this company. We were never late on rent, never complained even when we had to wait two weeks to have one of our toilets fixed by maintenance. When we moved out of our apartment, it was spotless. The carpets were professional cleaned, all the appliances had been deep cleaned, the bathrooms had been scrubbed from floor to ceiling. The place was sparkling clean--I even washed all the baseboards. It was even cleaner than it was when we moved in. I went to all this effort because it was my understanding that if I left the apartment in this condition, I would be returned my $1200 deposit that I had paid to move in. My husband had just lost his job and we were counting on that money. We moved out and were told we would receive our security back within 15 days. A week later a check came in the mail for $200. Talk about a slap in the face! Charges were $700 dollars for painting, $75 for pressure washing a small back porch, $150 cleaning fee, and a $75 processing fee that was mentioned no where in our lease agreement. I was absolutely floored! I went to the office immediately to dispute the charges. I had to basically twist the managers arm to even speak to me let alone explain the outlandish charges. I asked him to point out where in my lease agreement there was mention of a processing free, what they had to clean that cost $150, and how painting a white 1,000 square foot apartment cost $700. He failed to answer any of my questions but assured me when the final assessment came back I would be receiving back the $150 for cleaning, and $300 of the painting fees. Still incredibly aggravated, I left the office. Another week past, no new check. I returned to the office 3 more times and the receptionist refused to even let me talk to the manager. I found out Im not the only one who has gotten screwed out of a security deposit from this unprofessional, corrupt company. Only rent through these people if you are perfectly prepared to never see a penny of your security back. Truly awful way to treat someone who has been a loyal, dependable tenant.
I really don’t get why everybody is fussing. My friends mom has rented a house with crossroads and she said “that everybody was super nice!”

Poor customer service by phone. Unwilling to speak with owners regarding extended leases. As an owner, Id assume youd want long term renters and a property management company whos interested in renting your property. As a renter, it seems like this company will be non responsive for problems.Id avoid them either way.

By far the worst company I have had to deal with. They are beyond. When calling about a problem, they tell you it’s your fault. I don’t know why they collect a $250 cleaning fee when renting from them because they obviously don’t use it. I rented a home, only to have to clean the house myself the day I moved in. There were roaches on the ground. I had called about the dishwasher not draining, only to be told they weren’t going to replace it and just dont use the pots/pans setting. Linda is so rude. Don’t waste your time on these people!
Linda was the MOST unprofessional person I have EVER dealt with in my life is about all I will say. If you are that miserable doing your job then perhaps you need to find another one. My hope is that she pulls herself together so other families dont have un warranted stress in their lives.
I have had nothing but incredible service from them. They are highly attentive to any issues. I would 100% recommend you to go through Crossroads. I have been renting for 8 months. We have small issues that are normal with Septic, Well, A/C, I called and in less than 24 hours they have everything taken care of. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Thanks Crossroads!!!!
This is the most disgusting company I have ever worked with. I would almost guarantee anyone who left a higher than 1 star review know them personally and probably dont rent from them.Be careful with your deposit because they dont do a walkthrough when you leave and if you ask for one they decline you. The people in this office are horribly rude (minus the woman answering the phone initially). Not renewing my lease with these awful people was the best decision of my life. Still fighting on discrepancies with my security deposit. Been 2 months and I cant get anyone to return to my call. I was basically told today, oh well. If they dont return my calls they dont return my calls followed by a file a claim with an attorney. These people are something else. Dont do it. for the love of god listen to these reviews. I thought these people must be awful tenants, etc. No. Not the case. its them and its insane theyre still in business.
Terrible customer service. From the get go we’re met with rude customer service. When we spoke with the manager about it, he said it was our fault that they were rude and that we should find somewhere else to find a house. I know it’s sometimes hard to stay away from businesses like this due to the need to find a house/ apartment that’s relatively cheap, but if you can stay away from this place; You’ll save you’re self a lot of frustration and headaches.
Crossroads manages our rental properties and has done a great job of finding reliable tenants for us. Rent is paid in a timely manner, we have had long term tenants with multiple renewals, and everyone who has left has left the properties clean and re-rentable.
Ugh, didnt find anything that we wanted... They have good selection of homes to buy and rent. Honest enough folks.

Ive lived her for 4 years. The management and staff at this realty company are the worst people that I have ever dealt with! They are rude!!! My AC went out. I simply asked when it could be fixed because I have a 3 month old at home. Josh Browns comment was what temperature is it outside! I have never dealt with such disrespectful individuals in my life.

These people are so rude! My husband and i were interested in a rental and set up a move in date. We discussed that we may need to push it back because of his schedule. We immediately called them back to let them know of the changes. We were told that we would need to pay $195 leasing fee. When i asked what it was for she couldnt explain. When we visited the property we noticed the garage door was broken. We asked when it would be fixed and was told it was like that for years. OKAY?... So I didnt get an answer? I asked if they would be re painting and she said no. OKAY?... All the while being rude.Then she gave us the lease agreement. We went over it and it talks about a non refundable holding security deposit. She said no you will get your money back after your lease is up. I said this is a legal binding contract. What matters is what is written on this paper. I told her sorry but something isnt right here. So really all these people need to do is get $100 for application fees and they are set. I am happy my husband and I took the time to read the contract carefully and use or gut instincontract course she was rude because we left but thats her problem.

Im currently a tenant since 2014 (4 yrs.). We pay our rent on time, call about a plumbing issue on this old house maybe ONCE a year and everytime Linda answers Im belittled and talked down to. I simply inquired about the status of the plumber and was told he will be contacting you and then you can BUG him! Hmm, doesnt sound professional LINDA. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. No one should be talked to so rudely when theres an issue with their house... I cant wait to move from this old house, which has never been remodeled. Literally falling apart. And this b.s. time and time again. Remember folks, Linda is not the one to speak to in regards to problems

Have been paying for five yrs today man showed up said u cant have a dog I told him I was sitting the dog and that it dousent live here..I have had a car stolen from here and my bikes I have made police reports and was told to get ride of my plated trailer for my bike.man was rude and said he was going to get ride of me today.his the owners son and has some issues.he was rude and feels as the owner he can bully people.. Im an investor and own 2 SF homes in the Ocala, FL area. I have been doing business with Crossroads Realty for 5 plus years. Couldnt be happier that I dumped the last mgmt co. Not only have they done an excellent job keeping the homes rented, I receive direct calls about repairs and how I would like it handled. This is a family owned business and they communicate well the owners. I also receive my rents in a timely manner as well. They give me a piece of mind and ACCOUNTABILTY! Use em!
Well I dont know yet but I dont understand their logic. You pay a fee to apply for a house that is listed but it may or may not be available. .....I was told that if the one I applied for was unavailable, I could choose from their list and that the one I actually wanted is not available yet its still sitting with the for rent sign in the window and showing on every website.This makes me leary especially if I dont want any other listings that they have,which I dont.Uuuuggghhh, I was really trying to like them but the set up just does not feel right.If you dont have the property available to rent out dont take the money I dont have 100s to just throw around.Js

We went to veiw a house, i asked for the earliest possible viewing which she tells me is 6pm thats fine well she calls me 30mins before the veiwing to tell me shes going to be late and while were on our way she calls me with an attitude (i was 2min behind from getting lost) we see the house that is still occupied with 7 people aside from her self i call as we drove by and ask if we can reschedule because we werent comfortable with veiwing a house that all the tenants are there she then gets very nasty with us and tells me how rude i am and she would never rent to me and continues to rant to me and when i go to speak hangs up on me. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY I WILL BE REPORTING HER AND HER COMPANY TO THE NRA!
