Absolutely beautiful! Quaint and quiet with plenty of amenities! If you are looking for an amazing value in an established apartment complex, this is it!
Very friendly staff and amazing maintenance team. The staff has always went above and beyond to fix any problems or issues. They do fun activities for the residents and kids. Location is great as well!
To me, reviews are an essential part of determining if I will or will not consider renting at any facility. Pictures, brochures and videos are all helpful but they put the best angles and views to sell the apartment. Too often I have wanted to run to get an apartment from the photos but when I got there it was a different story: Poorly maintained lawns, broken screens, very poor curb appeal. I’m no longer taken in by internet or photos, I go to the reviews first. So this is my review of Carrington Lane. What you see is what you get and more. The curb appeal is pleasing to the eye, the maintenance crew do a magnificent job and respond quickly to any need, the buildings are all in tip top shape and very recently renovated, the huge oak trees give you a feeling of being up north and yet the palm trees remind you that this is beautiful Florida. Whatever you need is rarely more than an 8 minute drive to such places as the mall, theaters, Home Depot, all sorts of restaurants and shopping. Should you need any medical care there are Urgent Care Facilities, a hospital and yes for Veterans a nearby large clinic. The downtown area is special to walk through, view the old but never abandoned building and store fronts, the park and so much more. You will never be bored. If you enjoy horses, tour the many horse ranches and mansions on a scenic drive. There is plenty to do in Ocala.I left the best to last. You can have nice buildings and grounds, pretty trees and amenities but if you don’t feel it’s home, it’s not anything. Here is where Caitlin, Rebecca and Lindsay come in. They are the three women who make Carrington Lane not merely a house to live in but a home to enjoy, have fun and be proud to say: I live at Carrington. A lot of apartments offer something special at Christmas, Easter and other major holidays. Carrington Lane does that too but so much more. They are like thinking 24/7, how can we make our residents involved, happy and yet not be intrusive. They do it. There are so many things to do if you wish, or if you simply want to remain closer to home and your lovely screened in patio, that’s fine too. You do what you want to do. However, no one can say the staff is uncaring or not helpful, they go far beyond the call to assist you and always with a smile. This is a long review, but before closing why not go to Face Book and check out the 200 plus photos of the many activities Lindsay, Rebecca and Caitlin put on for your enjoyment from Coffee Day, Free Lunch Day, Dress up and Dress down day, Blood Drive Day, Pizza Day, Donut Day, Brewery Day, Fashion Day and so much more. They do all of this in addition to their responsibilities in the office. I hope you found this review somewhat helpful. I don’t work for Carrington Lane, I don’t have stocks in the facility, I just know a good thing when I see it, and indeed Carrington Lane is good, very good.
Absolutely love living here. From the ladies in the office that manage to stay cheerful when dealing with issues to the maintenance crew that always have a good attitude even when I have to call on a holiday weekend.
I moved in at the beginning of January, and so far I’m really loving this place. They have a cute welcome bag with nice goodies. The ladies at the leasing office are such dolls, and they truly care about residents. Lindsay and Shay have been super sweet and helpful to me, and they are amazing. They even gave me a personally written thank you card for moving in. I had some minor repair issues with my apartment, and they were fixed immediately. My neighbors here are also pretty quiet and it is peaceful here. There may not be a gate, but I have always felt safe here since the day I moved in. The gym is also nice and I love the yoga studio.
The staff at the whole complex was always extremely friendly. Any repairs were always done in a timely and professional manner. The grounds were undergoing updates and looked better each day. Really enjoyed living there. Couldnt ask for more in a rental! Pet friendly with many clean up bag and waste stations. Trash dumpster close to all locations. Very close to grocery store, malls, major retailers, down town as well as major interstate. No need to look further!
I was looking for an apartment in ocala, but I dont know much about the city, so I asked aroundCarrington Lane was the one apartment name that kept coming up, as to how much people liked living there. From the minute I first called to gather information, the staff in the leasing office were very helpful, informative, and got all the information I needed from them. Throughout the rest of the process they made everything so easy, were so good about getting back to me in a timely manner, and make things happen so that I could move in to the beautiful apartment I live in now.I love the community, and I love my apartment. I am so happy here! I would recommend it to anyone.
We have loved living here at Carrington. The entire staff has been wonderful to us. Maintenance is super quick and of course, very friendly. Out of all the apartments we have lived in Ocala, Carrington has always felt like “home”. It makes me wonder why anyone would rent elsewhere?
I am sorry to say that this is not a biased, or misleading review. By all appearances this is a great community need to live in. The tenants are friendly and the grounds are well kept. The complex has plenty of great amenities, and boy they sell these right out of the gate. Let’s talk about the negatives though... This is by far the most claustrophobic and good-vibe stricken apartment you can possibly place yourself in. The lack of sunlight under the tree canopy and the small amount of square footage is enough to make you feel like you’re living in a box behind Target. My wife and I lived here for a year, and I have to say that the office staff is that tightest group of condescending women that has ever plagued Planet Earth. Get ready to be talked to as if you were back in high school, but not even being able to say what you wanted to say due to them Of course being your landlords. The daily struggle includes being charged extra fees, overages, and deposits upon deposits. Unfortunately, you will not see all of these deposits back. My wife and I really needed the full deposit when moving out, so we scrubbed every square inch to a military standard. Only to find deductions After deductions come time to collect for the most heinous and cockamamie reasons..The happiest day of my life is moving away from here. Not the worst place to live, but aside from Hitler’s Germany, this is THE worst place. Thanks for reading.. heed my warning!!!
The staff is always kind, smiling, and very helpful. The maintenance staff is the best I’ve experienced… I’ve lived in several apartment communities throughout the United States… This is by far the best one... if you’re looking for a place to live in Ocala/Marion county this is the apartment complex to live in… They have treats for the dogs… Pool parties… Something almost every month for the residents to get together
My husband and I lived here for almost two years for our first home together. We just moved out last month. We were very happy with our experience here! The apartments are nice and updated with modern fixtures and neutral colors, the bottom floors have all vinyl floors which was great for our pets, and I always felt safe. The location is perfect as its only 10-15 min. to get anywhere else in Ocala from here. The grounds are well kept and are great for walking dogs (we have 2). We had no issues with hearing noise through the wall from our next door neighbors. We had minimal maintenance issues, and the office staff is all super nice! There arent a lot of great choices for apartments in Ocala, I would definitely recommend Carrington!
I moved in last November and everything has been good so far. The staff is very friendly and for some reason that is a rare thing at other apartment so I have come to really appreciate it. I do have maintenance stuff from time to time but its handled promptly and I dont have to do it! I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
We love living in Carrington Lane.Although the community is older, the apartments are nicely updated and well maintained. The pool is always clean, the grounds are well maintained, and the staff are friendly and prompt with their service.Management does a great job of creating events to bring the community together and fostering an enjoyable living environment.I would definitely recommend living here!
I love it here. The staff here is great. They have been very helpful and thoughtful and taken care of all of our needs. I want to thank them for all they do. We feel very comfortable and safe here.
Me and my wife know someone who got into and accident, and this apartment complex has been very unacceptable about the situation. Bad news is the person is back in the hospital and family is dealing with all financials. And this apartment complex has become very demanding and not understanding and these circumstances. I pray no one ever had to deal with complex in any way. The family is thinking about paying the whole lease and moving there family member to Grand Reserve where they have accepted the family member. Me and my wife been with this family throughout the hospital process . I wouldn’t recommended this complex no spiritual leadership at all here. I even read emails back and forth and how understanding they were going to be turned out to be a lie. This person does not deserve to live out there or put up with nasty attitudes.
Stayed in Carrollton lanes for 1 year places completely over price for what it is also monthly rent would go up pretty much every month left the place spotless but for some reason they think I owe them $428 I disputed the charge and was able to get it off of my credit I wouldnt stay here ever again they are Crooks.
I love it here! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The apartment looks amazing and was so clean when we moved in. We had just moved from North Carolina so it was refreshing to come home to such a great apartment.
Great place to live. Amazing amenities, service requests are met quickly (usually within 24 hours), friendly staff, and amazing apartments. The apartments are on the expensive side for Ocala, which is why I give it 4 stars. However, if you can afford the rent, it is an amazing place to live
Everyone at Carrington Lane has been great! Both Rebecca and Lindsay in the leasing office have gone out of their way to help my husband and I with our transition moving from out of state. They are very personable and it is very obvious that they truly care about their tenants. Whether it be going the extra mile to help us coordinate with our moving company, or carrying a box to my car for me when I was pregnant, everyone wants to make sure that our experience is a positive one. As for maintenance, we havent needed them often, but when we have, they have been very prompt and professional. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex, as it has something to offer singles and families! It is the best apartment experience that Ive ever had! Thanks Carrington Lane!
Just great overall, very quite neighborhood, clean & well maintained ! Amazing staff always have little events going on, over all worth what you pay for !
Carrington lanes is a great place to live. The maintenance and office staff are professional and friendly. The grounds are beautifully maintained and updated.
The apartments are over twenty years old, with some new paint on the walls. The wood floors are fake, just vinyl flooring throughout the whole house. The neighbors are loud and parking is overcrowded. I have had two separate apartments flooded by other apartments and was simply told no concessions are given. Its the closest spot to the hospital 2mi, but wouldnt recommend.
I LOVE IT HERE! I moved here from steeples 2901 (formerly paddock park). The difference is like night and day. We feel safe dispite there not being a gate. Steeples had cars being robbed weekly. Here? its so well maintained and there is just a feeling of safety. We pay a little more but its such a difference in quality that even my daughter calls our old place The ugly place the kids park is lovely, the people are nice and the taco tuesdays and events are all worth it.
I currently live in Carrington Lane with my wife and two small children. In my opinion this is the best apartment complex in Ocala. It is located very close to many grocery store choices (Publix, Aldi, Earth Fare, Target, two 24/7 Walmarts, etc). Super close to two major hospitals (Ocala Regional and Monroe Regional). The staff are some of the most helpful and polite people Ive ever met. They always handle requests in a timely manner. The maintenance staff is the best I’ve experienced (Jayson and everyone else). The grounds are kept clean and are constantly being maintained and upgraded. Any repairs were always done in a timely and professional manner. They are super friendly, and anytime there is any kind of issue they are there to help. Management does a great job of creating events to bring the community together and fostering an enjoyable living environment (Rebecca, Lindsay and Alana are simply awesome). Pool parties, or some other activity almost every month for the residents to get together. The playground is great for younger kids, and the pool is beautiful and always well cared for. The community is super family friendly, peaceful, and clean. We also greatly enjoy how many green areas with mature trees there are inside the community; but you have to see it to understand. Words dont do it justice. We also love how pet friendly they are. If you have big dogs like we do, youll fit right in. The community also has a dog park, and throughout the community youll find numerous clean up bag and waste stations. They even have treats for the dogs at the office!Theres some much more; but this review is already very long. If you are looking to rent in Ocala you HAVE to look at Carrington Lane!
My wife Sharon and I found our perfect spot in Ocala last year when we moved from Summerfield into our 3-bedroom apartment at Carrington Lane. Here are only a few reasons why.The campus and environs: its sprawling, hilly, rolling, and lovely, in what many say is the nicest part of town -- so, an all-around delight. The staff: theyre attentive, competent, courteous and, most importantly, its their integrity and effectiveness that we so much appreciate, always keeping their word. The apartment itself: its superbly equipped, handsomely finished, and smartly designed for convenience and comfort. There are plenty more reasons. That is why I recommend whole-heartedly, you find out for yourself why you too could happily call Carrington Lane My Home in Ocala.
The maintenance staff so far are some of the most helpful and polite people Ive met
They were fine at first. Then more money kepting raising rents. Its clean but not for the prce
Horrible, horrible. We made the mistake of signing a short term lease while we closed on our home. Unprofessional and rude staff. Cheap construction. Everything can be heard through the walls. Teenagers partying all night next door, clearly involved in illicit activities (parents must have leased the apt- we were seriously vetted for approval), residents dogs off leash on grounds, mystery charges on bill. If you are a professional looking for an apartment, there are much better facilities in Ocala. We didnt know.UPDATE AFTER OWNER RESPONSE: No. When we sat down to sign the lease, a short term, 3 month lease for which we were paying a premium...we worked with Lindsay, who was about to walk out the door when we came in to sign .. because she had to attend her childs orientation at school. She rushed us and went over literally nothing. When we called a month prior to our lease expiring and asked what we needed to do to prepare to move out, we were told to stop by the office and get someone to do a walk through with us before our lease ended in December. We did this. We moved out, and kept receiving bills for $1300 in rent, late fees, plus a month to month charge. We signed a THREE MONTH LEASE for the months of SEPTEMBER through DECEMBER of 2016.When this was brought up to Rebecca, the property manager, she dismissively said she didnt know who I worked with on lease signing (and no one from the office signed it...hmm) and she didnt have any staff that had children. Well, she does have a person named Lindsay who told us she had to attend her childs orientation...seems a little far fetched of an excuse to leave a lease signing early.Rebecca will dismiss your concerns and imply that you are lying- as you will see by some of the negative reviews here. The good reviews on here must be fake as they need to pad their rating on Google.Best of luck if you rent from them, and to everyone at Carrington, couldnt be happier not living there!!
Carrington Lane is a clean, quiet and well managed apartment complex in Ocala, FL.It also has beautiful landscaping and is generally a pleasant place to live.
Great place to live. One of the best apartment complexs in Ocala. The staff is super friendly, and anytime there is any kind of issue they are there to help. The playground is great for younger kids, and the pool is always well cared for. Every month there are community get togethers, really brings everyone together. In short if you are looking for an apartment in Ocala, look no further because you have found your next home!
It was awesome, the only problem was the cost, and a nosy neighbor, but apart from that, we had a wonderful experience.
They have great office staff and Foreman.
Havent even moved in yet but the office staff especially Rebecca has been stellar!
