I scheduled my first facial and a full body massage here for my birthday. The staff is amazing they are so nice and professional and made me feel so taken care of. Everyone is very knowledgeable and you can tell they take pride in their business. The pricing is very fair, the salon is clean and welcoming and the services i received left me so relaxed. Best birthday gift!

I’ve been going to this spa for almost a year now. Everything is always very clean and I love that it’s appointments only. I have had just about everything done on the spa side with facial, massage, and my nails. I always leave very happy and zen out. So far I have taken all of my girlfriends here and they all absolutely love it as well! We’re trying to make it a quarterly thing!

Was there to repair ac system. Owners and staff are terrific people. They do a remarkable job and truly care for their clients.

If youre into an elitist caucasian atmosphere where you wont even be looked at (let alone attended to) if you dont fit in with all the fair-skinned blondes behind the counter, this is the salon for you!Purchased a massage over the phone not knowing what I was getting myself into and man, was the regret pouring in as soon as I walked through the door.Without exaggeration, I had just about every employee look at me upon entering the estaishment and not a single person welcomed me in or cared to address my being there. I waited three minutes before interrupting a conversation behind the counter so I could check in for my massage.Finally was taken to the back only for my masseuse to fumble with the ipod/music half the time and just lather my body in oil for the other half. Every time I thought to myself okay, youve got that section oiled up well, lets get to the massaging, shed just move on to the next area and start pouring oil all over. First massage I leave feeling no more relaxed than when I walked in, just insanely oiled up.Cant speak for their other services but POC beware...felt like I went back in time a good twenty years if you know what I mean.

A year ago MYA ACHIKE posted about this Spa. I would have to agree with her. My appointments are usually changed to make accommodations for WHITE customers. Today my son left my card at home after driving through two cities I had to cancel. I was told as if I were a child that if I canceled again they would pre-charge my card!!!Looking around the spa there are NO people of color employed by the salon. The generational Cast System that this group practiced in Europe is truly reflecting at this salon.

I was driving around visiting different spas in Norfolk today, trying to plan something for myself and a few friends for my birthday. I came across Elite European Day Spa and I was quite disappointed. First off, when I walked in no one acknowledged me for the first few minutes. I had heard negative things about this spa, but I went in with an open mind. I explained why I was there and instead of the young lady volunteering to show me around, I had to ask for a tour. It looks quite different from the pictures on their page. Anyway, when the little tour ended she just walked away, without saying a word. I asked her what was on the other side and she replied, a salon. I guess because I wear my hair natural, she didnt see the need to discuss it any further. Thanks, but I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

To be honest I can and have paid alot less and received much more at other places. I will not be back. The lady that did my pedicure was super sweet thats the only good thing I can say.

Felt racially profiled, seem like that don’t want or will not service people of color, lied about the phone number, told me it was a number to a foot spa. Would give zero stars, she also calls back says she’s booked and then hangs up in my face! And I’m a soldier from out of town I DON’T recommend this place at all!

Absolutely love this spa! My hubby and I both have always received amazing service and hospitality from them. Their main wax esthetician is honestly so great! She gets it over with quickly and always makes me feel very relaxed even though putting me through torture. I’ve also gotten my hair cut and blown out by Melissa and she’s awesome! I love how it turned out and will definitely be going back to her in the future for trims. They offer so many different services and it’s nice to just have to go to one place to get it all done! 10/10 recommend.

We called ahead and asked if there were any available appointments. We were told yes to come in. When we got there the whole place was packed with European Americans. When the host saw that we were African American all of a sudden they didnt have any opens. I guess they chose this name for a reason. Their way of saying, WHITES ONLY!

I had a mediocre experience here. When I walked in and checked in, no one greeted me by name or offered me anything to drink. Honestly, the lady at the front desk was not very friendly towards me. My reflexology massage was really great. My full body exfoliant scrub was alright. My facial was amazing. But even after and between the services while I was relaxing, no one offered me anything to drink. I had to ask for a glass of water before I was given it. I didnt let this spoil my time and had decided to book more services when I checked out. After I got dressed and went up to the front desk to pay, the receptionist again was very cold towards me. She didnt ask me how my experience was and she didnt ask me if I wanted to book more services. I had just spent $250+ and I felt like I was treated as if I didnt matter. I wont go back. I will take my money and time elsewhere. This was a missed opportunity on their part. I was in the market for a spa that I could visit monthly for some much needed pampering. I do not like feeling like I am unwelcomed in an establishment. The only color that people should care about is GREEN. I feel that this place prefers to work with people of lighter skin color. Their loss.

I got a combined deep tissue and reflexology massage yesterday from Lana. I have crazy stressed out shoulders/neck from being in grad school and working at a computer all day. Her pressure and ability to get at my knots were perfect. She even put a hot towel under my neck when she moved to my feet, which I thought was the perfect touch for a sore neck. The reflexology on my feet was amazing. Hot towels were placed on my feet before she began. My feet feel like a million bucks. Thank you Lana!!I gave them 4 stars and not 5 because I wish the massage could have been longer. They dont have a 2 hour option, which I asked for when I called. I didnt get reflexology on my hands d/t time constraints. My shoulders were so messed up she had to spend more time there.

I went to Elite yesterday for the first time and had the best spa experience ever! I was there for a spa manicure and pedicure followed by a one hour massage. Let me just say that the atmosphere is unbelievably relaxing! The tall ceilings and the exposed brick wall give you a very warm and welcoming feeling. The nail technician (I think her name was Nadia) was very sweet and did an excellent job. I cant remember my nails ever looking so good. The massage therapist was also very professional and she definitely knew what she was doing as I felt completely rejuvenated after the massage. Overall, I would give Elite 6 stars if I could. Cant wait to go back there to get ready for my Christmas party!

Took my bridesmaids here and it was the PERFECT pampering kick-off. Elite is by FAR the best spa/salon I have ever been to. Since my first manicure there I was hooked on their attention to detail, personal / undivided attention, affordable pricing, and delightful staff! They treat you like royalty and as for the manicure - they work on your nails as if they were painting a delicate canvas. Its insane to me that their prices are competitive for the luxury service they offer. I seriously cannot say enough good things about Elite - I will never go anywhere else. :)

Elite is exactly what the company name says- Elite! They truly offer a one of a kind experience and the BEST service. Ive been going there for years and have always been overly satisfied with my services. Ellen is phenomenal! The place is exceptionally clean and everyone has customer service as their top priority. Michelle is great at what she does and keeps everything running smoothly. I love Elite and have not ever experienced this type of service and quality anywhere else in Hampton Roads!

Honestly one of my favorite places to get my nails done in Norfolk. I got the Shellac Manicure and it had one for 2 weeks without any chip nails. The customer service is through the roof. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is look for a good nail salon.

These people are amazing and have an amazing system for scheduling the independent contracted hair stylists. Its extremely convenient to set your appointment with the stylist of your choice. Do it early though, as they are all quite good and need to be booked well in advance.

My friend and I went there and we got jell. Both of our nails started chipping like 2 days after we got them done. Also, the lady who did my nails was very slow, and when my friend was finished, the lady doing my nails was just starting to put the first coat of nail polish on my nails. After she saw that my friend was already done she hurried up and put the nail polish on quickly. When she was done and my friend and I had payed, I looked at my nails closely and saw that some places only had one coat of polish and others had none. I am definitely not going back there.

I had my first deep tissue massage and it was amazing. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the prices are great.

I found out about Elite on the web, and decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. Im a neat freak and I always pay close attention to the cleanliness anywhere I go. The spa was spotless, even though it was pretty late on the day. The service was excellent, and OMG, I LOVED how my nails looked after they were done. I got the Shellac and it lasted me a good 2.5 weeks!!! I would definitely recommend this spa to everyone. The best one Ive been to in our area (and Ive been to a lot).

Elite exceeds the expectation of their name. They do a phenomenal job with the utmost professionalism. I took my mom on a spa treat last year for mother’s day and someone recommended this place to me. The staff was nice, the place was clean so I thought it was going to be a great experience but boy was I wrong. The lady that did my mom feet cut the heel of her foot up Soo many times and didn’t bother to bring it to her attention she just put some kind of sealing on her foot and put her foot back in the water. Furthermore she cut her under her toe as well and put her foot back in the water again my mom felt a sting and asked was she cut she told her no. Later when we got home she noticed all of the cuts and a few days later her toe that was cut was now infected her toe changed colors, her toe nail came off completely it was horrible! She called to tell them about their service they were in denial that they cut her! We’re never coming back to this place and honestly whoever did her feet should be fired!

I have been going to Elite Spa ever since it opened. The facility is very clean and a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. I have used all their services and have been very satisfied. Grissett has been doing my nails for ever and I always look forward to my time with her. She does an excellent job and has a wonderful sense of humor. If you or a love one is looking for a day spa this is the place for you!!!!!

Wicked awesome staff, high quality products, and also the staff is super qualified for even the most delicate of jobs (i.e. Brazilian waxes). They have great stories to tell if you give them an ear while youre spoiling yourself at their spa. I love coming here.

I used to come here frequently but they seem like their better than everyone and I always felt judged for my nails. Plus the massages weren’t good and I definitely don’t like how you can’t tip unless you have cash. Won’t be a returning customer.

Ive dont believe Ive written a review before, but I was so disappointed with this shop, I had to. I requested a same-day appointment for 5:30pm, receptionist checks and tells me there are two people who can see me at that time and books me with one.I notify the receptionist that I have ethnic hair, and she checks with the stylist who says yep, they can handle me. I get a text later from the stylist who has apparently never done ethnic hair before, only mixed girls, and how curly and difficult is my hair? She says maybe she shouldnt do it and doesnt want to waste my time. Why would you tell the receptionist you can do something if you cant do it? I inform her that my hair isnt terribly difficult in terms of ethnic hair and the main thing is that it needs to be dried throughly and more intensely than mixed hair. She says she cant do it (wow.) and wants to set me up with someone else. At 5:00pm. A half hour before my specifically scheduled appointment because I get off at 5pm. I inform her of this and she says oh thats the only time, and maybe I should just look around. I request to leave early just for this. I get to the salon at about 5:08 and am sent away because it wasnt 5pm on the dot. It is too late to get anyone else to do my hair, so I will have to wait until someone else can see me. I have wasted my time and requested off early for something that could have been fixed hours ago by the stylist saying Ive never done this and I dont feel confident doing it from the beginning. Side note, why are there not more people able to do ethnic hair at this location?I am unsure if the stylists here do good work or not, but I have been warned against this location by the Hilltop Elite, and I will have to agree with them. My future appointments will only be booked with them, although this location is five minutes from my home.

I recently went for a shellac manicure and was very impressed! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the customer service is excellent. The technician did a beautiful job and I am very satisfied with my experience. I will be back!

I went for their spa pedicure. It was absolutely worth the splurge. I dont mind paying the extra $10 for a service that comes from an establishment that was courteous, incredibly clean, professional, and thorough. My feet were pampered and were in need of some attention considering im 3 days past my due date! so pregnancy has made my feet swollen and wanting of some extra care. I wish i could remember her name, but she did such a meticulous job on the paint that my nails look like theyve been painted with shellac. Im an athlete, pregnant, and artist, so Im on my feet constantly and they definitely arent the prettiest things youve ever seen. Walking out of there youd think I did nothing but have foot rubs all day long. they feel and look incredible. definitely worth every penny.

I cannot comment on their actual services, but I just wanted to point out how the appointment system is flawed. I attempted to make an appointment as a first time customer. I just wanted to get a haircut either same day or the next day. I called the number, and was told I would get a call back because the receptionist had to check with each individual stylist. I never did, and so I called back and was told that nothing was available. When I asked about tomorrow, I was told she would again check with each stylist, or I could call each individual stylist to see what they would have available. This system seems ridiculous and a waste of time. I ended up calling another salon.

Nice and clean and they offer you wine! Nail techs are friendly and do great work and they use quality polish and gels.

This is my favorite spa in the area. I have had my nails done by 3 different technicians. All of them without exception did a great job.

Massage was good, but my pedicure was lacking. I chose a neutral, light pink and you could still see the tips of my nails showing underneath, and polish wasnt applied evenly. I got this done saturday and the polish is already chipped.

Came here with friends, staff were super friendly and caring, had nothing but a great time here.
