Headline: Truly the best nail experience Ive had in the city, and I highly recommend it!This salon is unique because its actually much more than just a nail salon, but you can absolutely come here only for your nails. The Japanese gel technique is so precise, and I felt that so much care & attention were given during my mani/pedi. I was late to my appointment, and instead of the work being rushed or sloppy, I was provided with options to tweak the services I had booked to ensure everything was completed to perfection (and it was). My fiance scheduled a message while I was doing my nails, and he highly recommends Tatjana. Hara and Martha worked on my mani/pedi, but I have to say Marthas work was exceptional. I did a single color, but I hope to come back for a design sometime. The salon also provides a wide range of other services like laser hair removal, body sculpting, and more. Ive been in the city for 3 years, and this has been by far the best experience.

Best manicure I’ve ever received! You can tell they put so much care and precision into the nail shaping, cuticle trimming, and nail art. It really is another level beyond other places I’ve been to. For $60 it wasn’t too expensive either. Recommend Kaori, who did an awesome job with the watercolor effect.(Pic is from 1 week later—still going strong!)

I’m sure they do nails excellently but I came here for lash extensions and a body scrub on separate occasions and the experience were both sub par. The lashes did not look full; nor did they stay on for more than a week. The body scrub was not even 45 minutes, even though it is advertised as 45 minutes. It felt good but after the scrub, the lady turned on the water for me and that I’d be given privacy to “take my time” and shower. They don’t provide shampoo; just some random “soap” filled inside a Purell bottle. After showering for 20 minutes, the towel I was given was damp and it cleanliness was questionable because it looked like a really old and discolored towel. Then I heard a knocking and was asked if I was finished ... I mean I thought I was able to take my time and I thought I was at a Spa... I wasn’t even offered a hair dryer as I walked out with wet hair... I had to ask the receptionist if I could borrow a hair dryer... she said I could go upstairs to their hair salon... luckily the people upstairs were kind enough to let me borrow it. I don’t know why this place is even called a Spa... I did not feel relaxed at all. If you want a legitimate body scrub, go to King Spa in NJ. They will actually scrub you down and make you feel like a new born baby.

This place never disappoints! I love it and always love my nails. I don’t think I’ve ever had an issue with my nails here.

I love this salon! Ive been for 14+ gel manicures, and these ladies know their stuff. To my understanding, Yukie is a beauty school in Japan, and manicurists that study there spend some time at their NYC location. All the manicurists Ive worked with have been Japanese, with varying degrees of fluency in English. Theyre fantastic, friendly, and do a great job prepping and then applying gel for a manicure. Ive had manicures here that last 4 weeks in great condition, but usually get 2 and a half out of mine because Im a nail biter. They also do Japanese nail art (where nails have tons of motifs, charms or gems), which I always drool over but never have time for. I cant recommend Yukie enough for their gel manicures.

This is my absolute favorite spa ever (aside from The Peninsula Spa where I get my massages and facials done.) I come here once a month for my gel manicure and sometimes pedicure, and every manicurist is cordial and does a great job on my nails. They are maintained almost exactly the same way as the first day I get them throughout the entire month, until its time for a fresh set. They also offer tea and water free of charge, and the location is very neat, organized, and clean. I am also always taken on time and the payment process is also very smooth. Its my go-to nail place. They also offer facials and massages that I will soon be trying.

I come once a month for a cal gel manicure. Yes. ONCE a month. It lasts for a long time. These ladies definitely take their time and make sure I leave happy. I had my had done here one. Beautiful color. I highly recommend this place :). AYA is the mail tech and she is the best 💕

This has been my go to place for wax for years (Hilda and Karina are amazing) but this review is not about them or waxing, it’s about laser and Lisa that does the laser services.I always wanted to do laser on a few areas of my body and the girls at the front desk kindly set up a package for me. I went on Saturday for my first session and the experience was just terrifying. Lisa started with my underarms and I don’t think I ever experienced so much pain in my entire life! She burnt my skin and claimed she had the intensity level on the highest! Why??!!! I kept asking why does it hurt so much? I’ve been to other laser places for underarm laser and the machine used was super high tech, they put some type of gel or cream on the area I guess so it wouldn’t hurt as much and it was completely painless. With Lisa it was the complete opposite! First the machine she uses looks like it’s more than 20 years old. Extremely loud sounds like an old washing machine. She doesn’t put anything on the area and it’s extremely extremely painful! I was in so much pain I told her to stop and that I didn’t want to continue with the other areas. I was shaking, I couldn’t even speak. It was that bad! If you are looking to get laser DO NOT GO THERE! Worst experience ever!!!!!!!

Best massage and facial I ever had in NYC!From the moment you walk in the salon you feel welcome and comfortable, very clean rooms and professional staff.Tatjana was my massage therapist, and I highly recommend her, she listened and accommodated all of my requests. I have problems with my upper back for a while, and she did an excellent job removing the pain.I will definitely come back again!

I went to Yukie for gel manicure, it’s amazing!! The manicure artist did every step very meticulously and will not recommend expensive add ons if all you want is just single color. The products they use were probably brought from Japan according to the labels. The price is super fair. They normally don’t charge tips to card but allowed me to do so because it was my first visit. I hope it will go directly to my manicure artist otherwise I would feel very terrible.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I was planning on going since my boyfriend had gotten me a gift certificate. Scheduling with them is the most IMPOSSIBLE feat I have attempted in my life. The difficulty in finding an appointment time was causing me to grey! If you are a millennial with a fast paced life then stay away or be subtext to the $40(!!!) cancellation or change policy.I have to add, this is not a knock on their spa/nail services, but rather the customer service. Unfortunately due to scheduling I never had my appointment.

A friend & I came for a swedish massage and it was wonderful. My massage therapist was Tatiana, she was amazing!! Overall, it was a lovely experience and would definitely recommend this spa!!!!

The best nail spot in all of NYC!

DO NOT get a facial here. I arrived with a few blackheads and left with ugly bumps. The therapist asked if she could lance my skin and when I said I had social plans and didn’t want anything I couldn’t cover with makeup, she proceeded to leave me with bumps that even the receptionist and other therapists agreed were bad. The manager was not in and there was no attempt to fix the situation.I was then made to wait 20 minutes past my scheduled pedicure. All in all, a poor experience.

I was there this pass Sunday and I had 3 different treatments, but the facial was not great at all, she used so much pressure on my nose that was so red, witch i said ok it will go away soon, but it last me till Wednesday and now the skin is dry due to the pressure-redness.The reflexology had done many times in others places, but at this place was a first time that it was not used any cream was done dry, i guess i should have requested or say something.The massage was great with Sima :)So overall i give 4 starts to the massage

Mina was awesome. She really took the time to achieve my desired results. This is a prime location spot! Near Sephora, Bloomingdales etc. Lovely bathroom and kind receptionist. Try to miss the rush and its by appointment only. They do take debit and cash for payment and tips.

I was looking for a place that made a good gel manicure and I saw the reviews and pictures I gave it a try this place is very beautiful, clean top of the line place I will say. I was treated like a VIP client here and my nails were done beautifully.

Located in Midtown Manhattan Yuki Natori is probably the best Japanese style nail salon in NYC! They recently moved to a new location on 56th street with a beautiful waiting area (even a bar!!). You can sip some wine, tea or coffee while getting beautified. I have been going for a few years and can’t think about going anywhere else! Mina is my favorite, she does a great job and is super sweet and patient

This was a really exceptional experience, I wish I lived here so I could come back and see Yukie Natori Salon & Spa all the time.

I used to come here all the time about a year ago. Went back again a few months ago and after a couple of days, my gel extensions actually PEELED off. I emailed them explaining what happened and Julie, one of the receptionists who I LOVE explained to me they got a different type of gel and that I could come back for a new pair, this time free, and they would use a different gel. I come back, willing to pay for a new set (because it had been a couple of weeks and I was meeting with a different nail technician) with high hopes yesterday and only an hour ago, yet another one of my gel extensions broke! I havent done anything between today and tomorrow that would loosen or weaken them. 2 stars because they used to be amazing, but my last two experiences have been extremely disappointing.

Reception girl Rose is highly not nice and rude, it make me very uncomfortable to be there, call there and ask any questions! Mani gel flies off in 1.5 weeks! Always i had some problem with changing my mani girl with who I have the appointment! Just change without ask me! I have finished coming, because the last time, I again received another mani girl, with whom I did not have appointment! It’s very annoying

During our week in New York, we wanted to relax in a spa. The premises are really beautiful and the atmosphere very soothing. We were even able to recognize certain exclusive French products of high quality. My wife opted for a facial and a massage for me.The massages are performed on the lower level in absolute calm. This is me Karina performed the delivery and has addressed all my requests. Pressure massage areas to promote, etc. A pure moment of happiness.I recommend very strongly that living well being!

A wonderful nail salon and beauty salon packed with Japanese skills.You can make a nice nail even if you come.Its a popular shop, so reservations are required. I go to gel nails occasionally.
