This was my first visit to Sundays. I was visiting NYC and desperately needed a manicure. This particular location is inside the mall of Hudson Yardsnear the Vessel. I found the atmosphere of Sundays to be soothing, clean, and pleasant. Vanessa my nail tech, who has the same name as me, was sweet as can be and took her time to provide me with the best manicure ever. I love Sundays clean products; non toxic products and animal cruelty free. For example, I soaked my hands in warm water with a fresh lemon wedge and rose petals. Vanessa massaged my hands with a nice lotion. I felt so relaxed. They encourage self care and self love. My nails look amazing and I feel good knowing all products are clean! Thank you Vanessa!!! So I haven’t been to the actual Studio. Unfortunately, I live in Southern VA and a trip to NY isn’t in my future but I’ve been purchasing from Sundays online and am always impressed! I have total 23 polishes, other bits and bobs and am so happy that I’m able to have a semi-Sunday experience at home! I will keep buying and look forward to any possible LE fall/winter shades that might be on the way (fingers crossed!!).I don’t know if the owner reads these, but if she does I want to say that one of your CSR reps I’ve talked to, Suzy, is the BEST! She’s always quick to answer any question I’ve emailed in. She’s so friendly and polite!!!

Absolutely love the concept and message behind sundays. Their non-toxic nail polishes have such gorgeous colors, and the service is great. The lifestyle they advocate for is sustainable and so important in our day and age of constant hurry and action.I love to just rest and have a session to myself at the studio. It is extremely calming and I definitely believe in the importance of self-care and slowing down to take care of my mental health.The interior is so lovely and aesthetic, and it always smells so good.

From front desk service with Thomas, to the technician herself, it was top to bottom kind, clean, and enjoyable. I was relaxed & felt at ease and was able to just enjoy the experience. Highly recommend.

I had a lovely manicure/pedicure experience at this nail salon, and it’s unfortunate that I have to rate them this low. Everyone was very nice, and I don’t have any issues with my pedicure. But I have a huge issue with the gel manicure: 3 days later, 4 of my nails had issues (the gel polish was cracking and peeling off). It hasn’t been a week since I got it, and I have to take the gel polish off since it looks ridiculous. I am very disappointed…

They place is very beautiful and everyone is very polite but i just didnt like the service, it was lackluster and isnt worth the price honestly. You will probably be paying for the experience and it being located in mahanttan.I will note that my friend came here and loved the lady who did her nails, so if you want to take that chance, try it i guess

Just got my nails done. The technician was great and the manicure was done well, but there isn’t a place to dry your nails. If there is nobody told me and now my nails are ruined from putting on my socks. 3 stars because my technician was great but I won’t be coming back.

Very disappointed. Paid for a 40 minute buff pedicure but got a rushed 20 minute pedicure. For that, I could have gone to the place down my street and paid half. I did mention it to the receptionist, she explained that they count in the 15 min for polish application but that’s complete excuse because they have a regular pedicure option that includes the polish application. This should have been a complete 40 Minutes which is what I paid and included a ‘deep message’ like the description mentioned. I mentioned it and she gave me 20% off but it should have been 50% being that I got a little 20 minutes instead of 40. Will not be coming back.

Sundays studio is do adorbs. Whether you go to Hudson yards or the one on 25th Street. They treat you well and take good care of your nails and their polish is non toxic. They definitely care about well being.A little pricey but you get wonderful quality.Gel: #94

I LOVE this place ! Its actually a nicer experience now that theyve reduced the capacity. They only use in-house products which are all vegan and non toxic. Its a really luxe experience and everyone who works there is super nice!

This salon is beautiful! Everyone was so friendly and polite. My technician was attentive and took her time with my nails. They serve a variety of teas, and offer spa pedicures as well.

Perfect pedi / gel mani by Claudia in this soothing jewel-box studio. Its not as luxe as the instagram / website would lead you to expect but its certainly a cut above the typical corner nail salon.

My wife received the manicure set from Dear Sundays and created her own manicure experience at home... complete with aroma from the candle! She loves the colors and both she and my daughter enjoyed their at home experience!

This nail salon is always hopping and I was really looking forward to coming in for a visit. The space itself is very cute and the receptionist and nail tech were friendly. I was satisfied with my pedicure.To be honest, I think you get a much better bang for your buck at a no-frills salon. The level of service was about the same, and Sundays is pretty pricey. Im not sure if I will be back since I can have a similar experience for less, but its not a bad place at all.

I made an appt online (so nice for scheduling mid-day manis) and was in an out in the time they quoted, which I appreciated. From start to finish, the whole staff was really welcoming and attentive. I was able to relax during the manicure because the ambiance of the salon was so peaceful. The manicure itself was also perfect...and non-toxic which is such a nice bonus! Will definitely be back. I absolutely love this place! The workers are perfectionists and always try to make your nails look nearly perfect and they always offer complimentary drinks which is really nice. The customer service is nice as well, especially Henry, hes great!

Chipped already and dried with bubbling beneath- this is more about the quality of the polish. I was here less than 24 hours ago.Annie was super sweet though. The manicure area is a tight space and I noticed they kept shuffling people around. It’d be better if there was a designated area for drying nails. Not worth the higher cost. They are more gentle with gel removal though (an extra $10).

You get what you pay for. I was pretty disappointed in my experience here, however the price of the manicure was so low that I decided on 3 stars. I almost didn’t leave a review because I work in the nail polish industry. I went here to accompany a friend getting a simple mani. She came in wearing regular nail polish with a glitter topper. The manicurist complained about having to remove the polish throughout the entire manicure. At one point she walked away to speak to (I presume) the manager. The manicurist wanted to file the nail polish off of her natural nail!! She mentioned that if she had a drill she would use it. My friend tried helping by scrubbing the polish off derringer the removal process. We were happy to pay for the “gel” polish removal fee. As someone who has had countless gel manis before, gel is absolutely harder to remove than the glitter. Truly, we were just disappointed in the treatment we received. The manicurist was blatantly rude and the manager didn’t seem to notice/care. However, her nails were shaped nicely, just shorter than desired. She didn’t get polish application (we were late to an appointment, due to the time spent on removal). Overall, if you go here I would take your polish off beforehand. Personally, I can’t see either of us returning. Maybe the price point was too good to be true?

Love love this place! very calming and relaxing, and knowing it is less toxic than other nail polish is a bonus! why sacrifice health when it is possible to get a great non toxic manicure? Everyone is lovely and the manicure came out great!

I’ve been coming to this place for a while and I’ve noticed the quality of service has declined rapidly. The new receptionist is awkwardly nervous and doesn’t know what’s going on, and none of the technicians seemed to acknowledge him when he was trying to get me seated for my pedicure. Completely different atmosphere from once before that was sophisticated, relaxed and polished. My nail technician didn’t offer any beverages as they normally do. She was very cold and didn’t seem to care about her service to me. She was also very aggressive and rushed. Everyone at Sunday’s seems rushed and frantic, and you can see the attitudes they each give one another. On top of that my pedicure was rushed and she hurt me several times. I hated that every time she needed me to switch feet, that she would just hit my foot instead of communicating with me. Honestly, for this type of atmosphere, service, and the amount of money, I might as well go to one of those typical hole in the wall NYC nail salons, because it seems like that’s what this is becoming. I don’t think I’ll be back unless drastic reformations is made.

Nice receptionist, beautiful space and... that’s it. Manicure was bad. My nail tech was not proficient: the shaping was off, nail polish application technique was terrible. And she cut my beautiful long nails entirely (although I said to cut just a bit). I left deeply upset that I spent over $30 on manicure that I couldn’t stand. I came in with way better nails than I left. Shame on Sundays.

Heard this place was good but was disappointed. Wasted 1.5 hours of my life on a manicure that was messed up. I purchased a massage for the wait while my nails dried. After waiting over 30 minutes, the manicurist said my nails were dry and even applied the drying oils to set it. Then waited another 20 minutes before reaching into my purse to pay. What a mistake! The nails got all messed up and the manicurist failed to properly fix it. Instead of removing and reapplying, she instead tried to just layer on more topcoats. When I discovered the rest of the mistakes walking out and seeing my nails in good light, I came back. The receptionist rudely dumped cotton on the table for my taking off of the polish myself. I wanted a refund of my tip amount and she refused. Instead offering an appointment for another day. My problem is time and that I cant get back the 1.5 hours. How is sinking more time going to fix this problem? Very displeased. Was happier with my local no fuss, no frills nail salon. I hope management reviews their staff for attitude in the future. I will not be coming back here.

Couldnt have had a worse experience if I tried.I made an appointment for a gel removal and express gel manicure at 6:15pm which was confirmed with an automatic text confirmation. I arrive only to be told my appointment was at 5:50pm and they can only offer me a rushed gel removal. They offer to reschedule me at lunchtime tomorrow at a discount.I show up the next day during my lunch break, and not only do I have to wait over ten minutes (my lunch break is only an hour so I was on a time crunch), my manicurist messes up my gel three times (being so rushed). She then blames the LED dryer for being partially broken, but they do not have enough to go around to begin with. She shoves both my hands into the dryer by the end, smudging my polish.To top it all off, not only am I not given a discount, I am charged for a full manicure, when I had originally reserved an express manicure. I had to pay more than what I had intended for a two-day unsatisfactory experience.Do not go to Sundays. You would be better dipping your nails in rubbing alcohol and painting them with Sharpie highlighters. I should be fully refunded for my experience.

Sunday studio (also just called Sundays) has an online website selling their line of nail polishes for those who dont live in New York. I purchased their No 9 nail polish which they show to be a pretty mature pink. What I got instead when the bottle arrived in the mail was a hideous bright neon Barbie-pink color that is totally not appropriate for work. Disappointed, I tried it on anyways hoping it looked different on. Nope. I contacted them by email expecting an exchange and to let them know that their product looks much different online. Nicole Trovato wrote me back. They will not accept returns or exchanges. About their online advertising she said We are actually in the process of updating our e-commerce website and really appreciate your feedback. I am so disappointed. Their non-toxic nail polish smells just as bad as any drug store brand nail polish anyways, Im wondering if their non-toxic claims are just a gimmick. I do most of my shopping online and have had very, very few issues with items not coming as described. I feel compelled to warn others.

I had the deep exfoliation foot treatment which I enjoyed. I did feel it was overpriced for what it involved - $55 plus tax for a basic pedicure with some extra lotions applied... The place is nice and relaxing and the staff were lovely.

Color selection of the new collection comes with pastel shades of pink, taking me a while to choose from cuz they are all very pretty. Enjoy my experience here a lot, will def come back!

The service is good, but the quality and attention to detail are terribly lacking. I got gel nails and the colored coat was inconsistent. Some parts were so thin that I can see through the blue. The clear coat on top of the colored layer was so terrible that it actually bubbled and had visible gaps. Worst of all, the polish started chipping less than a week later. For the cost, its not worth going to at all.

Really lovely nail salon. The complimentary tea was a nice touch and my nail artist was really polite and kind. The polish itself looks a little unfinished, but the experience was 10/10!

Omg. I get Mani and Pedi everyweek. So I was excited to try out the new place. Service is superb however I dont know if its the product or the lack of fan that all other places has it takes FOREVER to dry off the product. I went there because of good reviews on google.Reception was nice and helpful to book me in within 15mins, atmosphere was nice.But the lack of professional skill and stuff’s attitude are disappointing.She wasn’t gentle while file my nails, over cut cuticle, it was only bleeding on my thumb but I felt sore on other four fingers afterward (slightly blood seepage appeared). The stuff wasn’t friendly until she realized she hurts me.I really regretted to tip them as I’m a tourist and I didn’t want to offend the tip culture. But this soreness and chipped nail polish (only after 24hrs) start to make me upset, I decided to share my experience.

Ive been to Sundays once and against my better judgement, attempted to go back a second time.The first instance was with my coworkers as it is near our office. We got manicure/pedicures together. Only one of us started on time, the other two began 45 MINUTES after our appointment time, never given any updates on when wed be taken besides, soon!Fast forward over 6 months and I made an appointment a week in advance for a manicure immediately following my work day as I had a formal engagement that evening and was leaving for vacation the next morning. This appointment was supposed to be for tomorrow, and despite the fact that I received TWO phone calls and THREE text messages confirming my appointment, a woman called me this evening telling me that unless I pushed my appointment at hour, they wouldnt be able to see me because they are blocked off for an event and didnt update the event in their calendar.They offered to see me at a different location which I not so politely declined because I would never give this business a penny of my money.

This place is not non-toxic. I had a severe reaction to their polish and had to go to the hospital. They charge more because they are supposed to be “non-toxic.” The owner ignored me and wouldn’t refund my manicure.

Nice place and service. The stuff is very kind and professional. And the gel manicure definitely holds for long.However the reservation is very complex and unclear. For example the mini pedicure is not a pedicure at all its just changing the nail polish! In the other hand there is no pedicure that doesnt include the skin removal so if you want to skip it you still need to pay the same price.In addition as a returning member I was expecting not to pay for the gel removal. Its very dispointaing from this point a view because all services are very expensive.

Wasn’t sure if I should give 2 or 3 stars. My nail technician, named Ana did a terrible job with my cuticles, even after I expressed my concern.I saw other technicians offering their clients tea and asking everything to make sure their manicure is perfect, while Ana didn’t and acted like she doesn’t care.The whole “signature” hand treatment and gel polish is not worth $50. If what I got was a signature treatment with cuticle REPAIR, I don’t know what their mini manicure with “light cuticle care” is like.Not happy. At least not by Ana.

It’s very different in a good way. The space is calm, refreshing and feminine, but not kitschy/girly, and the actual manicure looks impeccable. I’m very picky and couldn’t find a single complaint. I got a gel manicure and the technician was veeery precise when she primed my nails and painted them. She also gave me great advice about which polish color and nail shape would look best. I didn’t ask for any meditation audio or anything like that but the customers who did seemed to enjoy it.They do ask for name/service selection a few times and seem to be figuring out some logistics, but nothing detrimental to the overall experience.

Cute studio but terrible mani. See photos for bubbles in the polish, uneven coverage, and dents and wrinkles even though I was careful for several hours after. I think the polish simply didn’t dry. The worst part is: I wrote to the salon twice to give them the chance to fix the situation but was ignored. So here’s my negative review! Many better places for a non toxic mani in a cute salon (ten over ten, wellzen in brooklyn).

I really wanted to love this place. While the studio appears little worse for wear than the nice aesthetic presented on the website, I was more disappointed with the service. I had the signature gel manicure, and requested nail art. When it came time to do the nail art, my technician pretended like she didnt understand that I wanted it on every finger, not just one. While her shaping of my nails was meticulous, her delivery of color and nail art was lackluster and my gels began peeling 1 week later! The gel was lifting off my nails and getting caught on things while on vacation. I was very disappointed.

Ive never written a review before, but had to for this. I have never gone to a nail salon with such poor skills. I got the gel manicure and after I had left and inspected my nails, I could see visible brush strokes and it was very patchy and uneven. I dont understand how a technician with such poor skills could be working and charging $50 for a job like that. You would think an establishment who put so much care into their image would have higher standards for their employees. The employees also seem to be very confused by the scheduling system and were confused about which customers were which, whispering peoples names repeatedly to each other. Overall just not a pleasant experience.

I have gone to Sundays multiple times in the past and have even recommended it to friends on occasion. I have been to many luxury nail salons in NYC and unfortunately this studio has only declined in quality and service every appointment Ive had.I booked my last appointment online for a lunch special manicure that they offer daily. I arrived at the studio 10 minutes before my appointment. I noticed there were just as many people waiting at manicure tables as staff currently treating customers, all yet to be taken care of. The receptionist quietly and shyly informed me there would be a bit of a wait, but did not tell me how long or how many people had been waiting, after I had to ask her to speak up multiple times. I waited a full half hour after my appointment and a full 40min later, and watched 3 girls ahead of me start their manicures and by then realized there would be no additional staff to help me, instead waiting out three services to be treated myself.The girl sitting next to me told me she had also been waiting a half hour. Once she was treated, she could only get one coat of nail polish, because like me, she had to leave to get back to work and was already delayed a half hour waiting for service.I expressed my concern after waiting the half hour to the receptionist saying I had to leave soon. She frantically told me she would find someone who just arrived and, while speaking to me, began shouting above the studio for additional help multiple times, as the employees above ignored her and did not ever return to help me. I got up after over 45 minutes total of waiting, without any service, because I had to go back to work and this “lunch special” was supposed to be just that.This entire situation could have been avoided had the staff paid attention to the online booking system or turned away customers instead of having us waste our afternoons sitting and staring at a wall.I don’t care about how “fancy” or “calming” or “therapeutic” or “upscale” your salon claims to be, I could have received TWO MANICURES in the time it took me to give up and leave this salon, no technician in sight and zero effort to prepare materials for my visit during my stay. I could have gone to any salon in the area, or even taken the subway to another studio and returned to my office in the time it took for me to realize I wasn’t going to be served and left. I have gotten the lunch special before and been to your salon many times but if this has become the norm, I realize you do not value my time so there is no reason for me to value your company any longer.I contacted Sundays customer service about this experience I received two weeks ago and still have not received a response. Other luxury nail salons at similar prices have refunded me in the past, or offered additional services if I felt that my service was cut short or polish service chipped/smudged quickly beyond their premium price and promise – those studios followed up on those occurrences with me, going above and beyond to deliver not just a premium atmosphere but with what actually matters – a premium experience.

What amazing service, from the meet and greet down to exiting! I sat with Daisy, shes a great tech, excellent craft and very personable. The salon hostess, forgot her name :-/ was very accommodating, offered to take my coat as soon as I walked in as well as providing support during my session with beverage options and general check-ins. Visited yesterday for the first time and I can confidently say that I will be returning and recommending friends, the design and engery of the salon is so modern and zen❣️A few things to know:They have their very own polish line! Solid, bright and great quaility, no streaking. With daisys help, I chose no.33 a teal/denim blue, just gorgeous!No nail dryers (which I was more then ok with) this might be a deal-breaking for some but I believe its so to achieve the tranquil setting. They do however use quick-dry drops which help with drying time.

My nails were a mess. Needed special care.Sundays Nail Studio is all about Natural product. Lucked out with an appointment with Vivi, a real pro, who put me back on track to good nail health.

I was very underwhelmed by Sundays. I had heard such amazing things online and via social media about the salon so booked myself a mani-pedi as a birthday treat to myself.The salon looks amazing online but does not deliver when you walk in. It sort of seems like the whole place was built for Instagram bu doesnt have the customer service to match. For the price point I wouldve expected more.Overall, I think I couldve got an equally as good mani-pedi at my regular salon for a fraction of the price.

I gave this place 2 opportunities,First time I got the deep hydration pedicure, unfortunately, I did not read the description, and never got the stone massage, also the technitian gasped when I asked her to please polish my feet a little longer, since the lady next to me came way after and her technitian was polishing her feet for a really nice time, getting all those calluses out! Mine gasped and did some more, but lacked thecnique, I swear I wanted to grab my foot and show her how to.I left disapointed, since the only reason for me to get that pedicure was to make my overworked feet (Dancer-Hicker) some hope to look pretty, I dont come here just for my nails, I come here for a PedicureA month after, booked an appointment to get a Rose Extract Anti Aging Pedicure and express Manicure, again with hopes for my feet.My thecnitian was gasping, rolling her eyes as if extremely tired.... she polished my foot really soft, and it was just all over, like an unexperienced person... then she appliednsomething and i realized later it was a callus remover, a commercial brand! She did not even asked, and this burned my feet!She polished again so badly, and I realized it was the SAME Technitian as last time, my money and time for this crappy job.She kept expressing signs of tiredness, when she lifted the bucket of water she looked as if the bucked was 115lbs, so dramatic and exagerated.Anyways when my manicure time came, she did good, offered me the free massage, but rolled her eyes! And gasped... Saw it from the reflection of the window... I dont want a massage by a negative energy body...Then offered me water and smiled, great!Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 because one employee doesnt resemble the company, and seen other technitians working really nice, specially the spanish ones.Wish they all could have the same technique for taking care of clients mani and pedis needs, specially polishing our poor feet.

Not a great experience, the gel is not great quality and started to chip and break within 24 hours. Such a waste of money for the price. All three of us had a bad experience and would not return.

We had such an amazing experience at Sundays nail studio !! Its prefect for hanging out with girls friends while getting urself ready for summer !!! Love the relaxing environment n friendly staffs n of course the none-toxic nail polish!!!!!!

The price is high, the service is bad, the technology is not good enough, and the colors and designs are few.It was easy to slip off because I was sitting on a chair and put my legs on a table at an angle, and I was complained that I would try again because I moved my legs when I was tired and out.
