I came here for a full set and was completely unsatisfied. The girl who was working on me was an absolute sweetheart but did not know how to do nails AT ALL. My nails literally have NO SHAPE my nails look oval after requesting coffin. Not to mention besides the terrible shape, there was nobody in the salon besides myself and the girl still managed to take 3 hours + to do my nails for what reason I have no idea because they came out terrible. Do not go here for any type of acrylic service.. you’ll definitely be disappointed!

I had a lovely experience at Max Salon! I’m visiting from out of town so I probably won’t be returning anytime soon, but I would highly recommend it to others! I arrived as a walk-in right after they opened, so I was one of only two customers in the shop. I was pleasantly greeted, offered a (full-sized!) water bottle, and seated in one of their comfy chairs to pick my color. I got a gel manicure. My nail technician was friendly and did an amazing job. One my my cuticles did bleed (not pictured), which is not ideal, but that has happened to me at other lovely salons because I have very dry skin. The service also included an unexpected hot wax hand treatment that felt amazing! All in all the experience only cost $30 before tip. A really great salon!

I was looking for a place last min to do a regular mani and pedicure without having to wait long. I looked on Yelp at places near by me, this was the 3rd place I called. Walked in I was just like this place is maddd fancy...lol. Its soo nice and clean in here. It was not crowded at all despite it being the 4th of July. So far the lady doing my feet is doing a fantastic job. I got a free glass of sangria, rose petals in my tub of water. The prices are reasonable (seeing how im cheap...lol) $25 for regular pedi and $25 for gel manicure. Ohhhh yesss i will be coming back. New place on deck lol. This place is really nice

After a couple of run arounds of nail salons around the Bronx. I found this one researching the best nail salons in the heights. I read all the reviews the good and the bad. Most of the bad reviews on here have to do with things that dont make any practical sense. Other than that my experience was great. They were very professional and kind. I appreciated how attentive they were right away. Their work ethic was also great. I enjoyed all the services. Alicia who did my feet was excellent. And the different lady that did my nails was very professional. They both did a great job. The space is luxurious kept clean and quiet. P.S. if youre getting a pedicure although its a couple of dollars more include the spa. Its all the way worth it.

I have been searching for a good nail salon since I moved to Hudson Heights 3 months ago. Finally found it. Best pedicure I have had in years. Alice did my nails. I highly highly recommend her. The place is very clean, pleasant and welcoming.

Really happy with the service and the technician was very skilled. I got a dip powder manicure. The wait was a little long and honestly the prices are a bit steep (65 for my service). However, its cool that they provide coupons through the Clover app.

I love the treatment you receive from the first time you step in that place. All the staff are very polite. Everyone that works there is trained with a high level of professionalism. They work with enthusiasm and vigor. Max Salon is the perfect spot to relax after a long day at work or at home. I love doing my pedi and manicure. They use good products, you get to have a glass of sangria while you do your feet or hair........it is an amazing Beauty Salon in Washington Heights. I am very happy that I finally found the perfect place in the heights. I extremely recommend this place!

By the looks of the reviews, I will consider coming to this salon for all my pampering needs. I would give this review a 5 star but I would like if the owner clarify the pricing for all services. Maybe post it on the google listing as a reference for others who will like to come. I wouldn’t want my services to be priced by technicians but by the owner. For example, if your business states that a pedicure is 25 then it’s 25 dollars and tip is given by the client based on their opinion of the services provided and not by the technician.Not to be extra, just want clarification. Please and thank you, it’s just some businesses have like a flyer with price listed and it just makes everything clear for the client. Hope you understand and consider it.

Best nail spot in the heights. Theyre very clean, professional, and well mannered. They open up a new pack of nail tools for each customer. They served me tea and the lady that helped me was courteous. Silver nails lost a customer due to short staffing. Max nail salon won my heart will recommend

This place is so clean family orientated... All the employees treat the customers like royal queens and king... And the hours they have concurs with work schedule is very affordable... I recommend this 100% great place to disstress yourself.... Love this place

I absolutely cant stand wanna be upscale service in the hood.This Place was horrible. It was my first time here and absolute last.I came with my 6 year old son and he was very well behaved but the manager had the nerve to tell him he couldnt drink his drink because she didnt want it to spill in which I told him to just put it away, then my nail tech grab my bag twice because I simply had it in the chair next to me and he placed it on the counter, my son then wanted to sit next to me in which he was told he couldnt I asked her why does she keep picking on my son when hes doing nothing wrong in which she said I didnt have to get my service done there.very rude and nasty place never again!!!!!

Beautiful and spacious.Customer service is always excellent, I have been their a couple of times and every experience has been better than the last.The owner always asks if their is anything she can do to make my experience better, she is very attentive and very cordial.

$25 for a regular pedi. The pedi was AMAZING! She put in work on my feet and even gave me a free was treatment dip and free drinks:water, coffee, tea, Sangria! So professional and welcoming and very very polite. I highly recommend this place. I will be coming back.

$40 for pedicure and a simple clear manicure that lasted over 2 hours . It was challenging to communicate because no one but the receptionist or manager spoke English and the person who took care of me needed someone else to come assist her because she didn’t know what she was doing . What’s the point of a google review if the post is deleted. Round 2. DO NOT GO TO JADE. I asked for a simple fade and got absolutely butchered. I wish I could attach a photo but when I got home my girlfriend noticed scratch marks on the back of my head. While jade was cutting her my hair she noted I was bleeding but I just thought she had gone over an ingrown. The back of my head looks like it got in a fight with a cat. The fade is absolutely horrible and needs to be fixed. Any brothers out there that may be reading this. If you’re getting your hair cut before the night please don’t go here. Go to a proper barber shop. I was venturing a spot around 8pm but every place was closing. Save your hair. Please.

I am IN LOVEEE with this place. The people are EXTREMELY nice and always make you feel welcomed. Ive never waited more than 5 mins to get service and I leave 100 percent satisfied... every time!! Very affordable prices and to top it off the place is absolutely gorgeous 😍 Personally my favorite and I highly recommend it.

Worst experience. My nail tech literally made my cuticle bleed. My cuticles are sore and sensitive to the touch. She didn’t even sanitize my cut I️ had to ask for alcohol wipes. She was so unprofessional arguing with her coworker in front of customers. The smell of the nail polish chemical is not inviting it’s very overwhelming.It’s sad because the place has potential but some of the staff members are very unprofessional. Very bad for business! I️ will never go there again.

The first time I walked into Max salon I was just walking by looking for a place to get my nails done.. the minute I walked in the ambient was nice & great customer service from the front desk. I did my nails with Luis the nail tech he is very polite and attentive to detail which is key for me because I am very picky. On weekends you get sangria with your service which I find a plus. Not to mention they have a beautiful selection of polishes and the owner Awilda is also very polite and sweet alsways so helpful with everything I need.. great customer service and hospitality. Definitely my new beauty spot

At Max salon yes its very pretty in the outside and you can do appoinments so there is no wait. But once you go in this pretty salon you see girls with attuitude they barely want you to breathe because if you do they will feel like you will break something. This is something i seen personally not directly to me i was getting my nails done and other girl just touches one of the nail polishes and alysaa (one of the nail lady) tells her not to touch it very rude and the girl responds i just wanted to see it. Thats not how you address a client, personally that made me feel uncomfortable. Not only do they have bad custumer service but these are beginners doing nails and charging overly high price. If they are going to charge high prices let be atleast people that know what they are doing just saying. I will no longer continue to support this bussiness.

Worst experience ever!!!!! I went to get hard gel, and they wasnt even sure of the price. They had to take a photo and send it to I dont know who to get a price. I was told it was going to be 55 and I was like ok a little expensive because the nail place I go to in Dckyman charges 45. I just went to this place because it was closer to my house. Huge mistake!!! The lady that did it cut me a few times and even though I told her that it was hurting me she kept putting the machine that they use for acrylics way too close to my skin. I was in pain for like one hour and a half. It was the worse!!! I dont think if you know about nails that you should put that machine way to close to your clients skin that it can cut them. When I went to pay, the lady at the front asked if the person who did my nails put gel, and I said yes it is a hard gel. She then said that it was 15 dollars more for the hard gel and that the total was 70. I was shook how you charge 70 for hard gel with a plain color not glitter thats unbelievable. I said thats too much, and she did not say anything. I then said thank you and left. I will never again come back. I be back to my regular nail place in Dckyman.

How we found MAX ! 😍 My fellow co worker and I were walking up 170th st and saint nicolas ave looking where to get a pedicure. Every place we went into either didnt take card or not enough chairs or just not good customer service. We ended walking up all the way to 190 and a few blocks back down. We saw this shop, went in and asked if they had room, told us to give em a couple of mins we left for a couple of mins. Came back and cannot believe how relaxed I felt during and after my pedi. Keeping in mind I had yrs without getting a pedi because service/ hygiene or always too packed and seem like a waste of time. By far the owner and the staff are great at what they do!! A plus plus sangria is included!! 💃😍 Im always down for some extra mellowness haha ....this is my new favorite spot to get pampered !! Thanks so much MAX !! 😄

SmhBetween Saturday and yesterday, Sunday, 4 of my nails broke!!! Amazing!!! After so many times doing gel I have never seen such a crazy situation. Please look into the pictures Ill be uploading. Best is yet to come. When I called they told me to go in to redo my nails with a discount. When I get down there, the owner herself, Awilda was so focus on defending her workers she did not even apologize. And please dont get me wrong, I understand things happens but as a costumer all we wanna heard is the truth with compassion and some sympathy. She asked me what I think was the reason why this might off happen and for every reason Ill give her she will denied.I truly believe if your not a people person and you Owen a business, either you hire someone who manages your store with sympathy or you learn to be a people person.
