Once you start getting SNS gel polish, you will become a junkie. I used to get UV gel polish, but it would begin to peel during the first week. SNS gel never chips ꟷ ever! Be sure to call ahead and schedule an appointment with Francis, shes a consummate professional & her work is outstanding. Ive been to several places in LA, Cheslea & the UES for SNS and this spot is now the only place I trust for dip powder. They offer a wide assortment of colors & their pricing is incredibly competitive among the other nail studios in the UES area.
This place wasn’t extremely terrible but once more women walked in the more rushed the job became. There’s acrylic and polish on my cuticles which is an absolute NO. There’s signs on the wall that say “please tip the person who did your service in cash”. Understandable if they only accept cash but they don’t. When I handed over my card the tech the said asked if I had her tip in cash. Which I didn’t so she seemed super annoyed. I also receive tips but I would NEVER ask someone how much or even if they were gonna tip. That’s flat out rude.
Jessica is the absolute best in that saloon. Very meticulous and precise. She always makes sure your nails are to your liking (length and nail polish wise)
I live in Astoria and I have been doing my nails in the same place for many years. I needed an emergency manicure and pedicure.I walked in, and the service was amazing .Finally I found someone else that knows how to shape real nails, and knows how to deal with ingrown nail.Clean, friendly, reasonable prices. Risk free fungus. Each experience is personal, and if you don’t have anything good to say, stop trashing people’s business.Complain to the owner, ask for a refund, but stop writing bad review, let people decide for themselves .
This is probably the best powder manicure Ive ever gotten. The gel pedicure was also excellent and the person doing my pedicure was so meticulous (she didnt tell me her name). However, the person doing my manicure was a bit careless and cut me. She also got lotion on my new dress. The biggest issue is that none of the tools were sanitized, nor were the wash bins for the pedicures! The tools were all kept in dirty bins, including some in a rusty tin can. Especially after being cut, this really bothered me and is a huge infection concern. Based on this I wouldnt be back, despite how good my nails looked after.
The only place in my neighborhood that has never disappointed me, and I’ve lived here for 8 years (but they’ve been here for 20). The BEST! Thank you Frances ❤️
If you arent looking to overpay for a Bouchée upper east side salon and looking for someone who is excellent at shaping real nail, you have to go to Francis. With over 300 options for SNS colors alone and ever single color swatched and organized it’s very refreshing and simple to pick a color. Small spot so make sure to make an apt.Never disappointed!
This place is dirty. The pedicure sink was not clean and had toenail clippings and polish chips in it. They also do not use towels under your feet — only paper towels which get soaked and starts to rip apart the second you take your foot out of the soaking tub.
I love this nail spa. They very friendly, and they will really do your nails good . They will pamper you very nicely and is a cozy place. Only bad thing is very small .
The best spot on the UES. Tip in cash!! The only downfall are the rude customers, but I just put my headphones in.
Even after moving to Brooklyn, I still come here for mani & pedi. 💅🏻Jessica and Maria are my favorites! 🌷
Staff is so kind and nails were great!!
Very long waits even with an appointment!! If you come here expect spending here 2-3 hours for gel mani and regular pedicure.
Bad bad bad work, tried powder there, I cuticles were painted as much as nails, 2 nails broken the next 2 days and nothing last after 1 week... Will never go back!
Francis is GR EW AT
