Excellent service. This office adheres to all COVID guidelines. The staff is very pleasant and welcoming.
I had an MRI of my lower back and have to say it was the best experience under the circumstances. LOL Flora was the technician and she was incredibly kind and attentive. They give you headphones and ask you what type of music you play to listen, put a warm sheet around you so that youre not cold and hand you a squeeze ball in case if emergency. The MRI machine was new and they had even taken the time to put a beautiful light box with a blue background and white flowers on the ceiling so that one year lying in the machine you can glance up and not see an ugly ceiling. Ive had MRIs done at other places and it was a nightmare. Freezing cold loud noise, no headphones and technicians that clearly didnt want to be there.thankfully this experience was nothing like that. Cant thank them enough for having caring people working there.
I went on Sept 22 with a prescription for 3 X-rays from my knee specialist. Despite making an appointment, I still had to wait 40 minutes. I expected them to send the X-rays and the report the same day, but they didnt do anything. When I phoned on Sept 29, the staff, who could barely speak English promised to send the report and X-rays immediately. Four days later the X-rays still havent been received, the phone doesnt work and email messages dont get through. The doctor who wrote the report seems to know his stuff, but the rest of the place is totally unprofessional, a disaster to be avoided.
Only have good things to say about Dr. Williams and Emily (who was the ultrasound tech). Both ladies were wonderful, patient and super friendly during the procedure. Mademe feel comfortable and at ease. Would recommend. The office is nice and clean as well and I was seen in a timely manner.
Long wait time. They also do not honor appointments and treat everyone like a walk-in. I should be able to be seen at or close to my appointment time. Receptionist was unprofessional and incredibly slow. Don’t get your x-ray done here.
Horrible experience. First time I went i had to wait 1-2 hrs even though I had an appt. The next time I called to schedule and appt and was told the next appt wasnt for 2 months which I scheduled. I then received a phone call 2 days prior to my appt telling me they had to reschedule because they had overbooked. I was also told that all other patients scheduled for that day were emergent but I could wait even though I was already very overdue because of covid. Never going back which is sad since Im a mount sinai employee myself.
I saw a single terrible review of this place and so I was nervous about going. Look - getting a mammogram isnt fun, but the receptionist and technician at Mt Sinai made it as pleasant as possible. I had an 8am appointment, was seen within 5 minutes of completing my paperwork (which was minimal), and Sophie (the technician) was GREAT. She was extremely nice, answered all of my questions, let me know everything she was going to do before doing it, and even made sure to loosen the adhesive on the Band-Aids so removing them would be easy. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Cant say enough about them.
HORRIBLE experience here! The technician went out of her way to refuse my mammogram because I had one 6 months ago, even though I had a current script from my doctor and explained that I was prescribed mammograms and ultrasounds 2x/year because of dense tissue. This facility has the same address as Westside Radiology, which apparently folded and took all the patient medical records with them. So do not go here thinking they have your Westside Radiology history. They have nothing. You need to start fresh somewhere, and I strongly advise against doing it here!
Got refereed to here for an ultrasound. I asked on the telephone for an estimate cost. Was told it was covered by my insurance as it was my annual. Then when I was leaving- asked if I owed anything. Was told again that it was covered by insurnace. I then get bill in mail saying cost was $920 and after insurance cost was $360. Im happy to pay for services once Im aware og cost. However i was informed on two occasions that it was covered
Welcoming environment, reasonable waiting time, stress-free sonogram. Exceeded my expectations
I was refereed to here for an ultrasound and biopsy. I asked for an estimate cost. Was told it was covered by my insurance. I then get bill in mail saying cost was $3920 and after insurance cost was $960! I paid them. Then got another mail saying I have to pay 247$ for the visit.
Three hour wait before being told to drink six glasses of water. Finally had procedure after asking what the delay was. Unable to see radiologists report. Called several time to ask and told we are new and we dont know how to do that. Finally got a phone number of a radiologist. No one answers the phone. I give up. Its been almost a month.
My appointment for a mammogram was at 11:00am. Its 1:06pm and Im still waiting. No one has explained why Ive been waiting for 2 hours. No one seems to be minding the schedule at all. Never again.
