Best practice in NYCIn time, courteous, sensitive, thorough and respectful

I have been using Murray Hill Radiology since the late 1980s, and I would recommend them unequivocally. While I have changed radiologists over the years, they have all been excellent. I saw a Dr. Tashman yesterday, and she was professional and explained issues succinctly, carefully and with care. I, who have am in a high risk category for breast cancer because my brother died of metastatic breast cancer in 1999, feel very confident of the care I have gotten over many years.

Technician and staff were great. Basically no waiting.What I wasnt happy with is not getting results immediately like I used to. Waiting 5 business days for it to get to my doctor, then having to wait for my doctor to get in touch with me is too long.

Mammography was fast efficient and relatively painless.

Excellent, thoughtful care delivered in an efficient manner.

Clean, well-run radiology center. Staff was welcoming and efficient. Radiologist gave me my results immediately after the mammogram. I plan to return to this center for future testing and would recommend it. They take Medicare, which is an important consideration for me.

I have always been impressed with the service I receive there and I have been going there for almost 30 years now.The front staff is welcoming and helpful. The environment is clean. The service is prompt and the tests results are available before you leave.The doctors meet you before and after the tests and explain the results of the tests. From warm ultrasound gels to friendly competent technicians they pay excellent attention to customer service. I really feel comfortable there. They are simply the best.

Amazing and professional staff and doctors treat you with care and respect! Hate getting my mammogram done but this place makes it so much more bearable. You wait in a lovely space and get your results read by 2 radiologists and your Doc comes in and discusses the results with very little wait time. Dr Julie Mitnick is THE BEST!!

Murray Hill Radiology has mastered the art of making you feel privileged to have a mammogram. The technicians are skilled at putting you at ease, the gowns and waiting area are full sized and comfortable. The films are read by highly experienced doctors who personally tell you your results. Dr. Basking was warm and calming. I have been going to the same office for more than 15 years, and I am never uncomfortable or anxious.

Very organized office. i love that you get results immediately. all the doctors and technicians are skilled and professional. this is the first year i didnt receive a reminder about lotion and deodorant before my appointment. i remembered, but told them at the desk and they said i should have received one. this is quite minor, but they said they didnt change the policy and this was just an oversight. EXCELLENT PLACE!

Best of the best! Well organized. Doctors communicate with you prior to X-ray and they have been reading my studies for years and are accurate and thorough!

Thorough, gentle as possible mammogram. Equipment used is state of the art. Everyone is pleasant. Doctors are excellent. Environment feels very feminine in its sensibility. Waiting area for women after exams doesn’t feel clinical.

After an initial mixup — I turned up at the right time, at the wrong facility (I still don’t know how that happened)—Dr. Tashman was warm and professional, and genuinely concerned. Results and images were shared with me immediately, and I have a CD for future reference. One technician at the uptown office seemed judgmental about my not having a mammogram for five years; I was more concerned that she hadn’t read my file: I’ve had a mastectomy. The Murray Hill office is nicer, and seems more efficient. Kudos to my imaging technician, as well.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this wonderful place I get mammograms and sonograms. The office staff is kind and helpful, and the doctors are superb. This is the most thorough and prompt place I have ever been to for a mammogram. Results are viewed while you are there and additional films are take then if necessary rather than to call you back.

The entire staff showed how professionalism may be combined with compassion. I did not know what to expect when I scheduled an initial consult but the healthcare providers, Dr. Greene, Dr. Tashman exceeded my expectations I could imagine. Their auxiliary staff was amazing.

Dr. Julie Mitnick is by far the most amazing specialist who takes time to LISTEN and her genuine warmth always makes me feel better in this nail biting annual visit. Her expertise is commendable. Always my mammogram and sonogram are handled professionally and pain free with such caring people.

I loved my radiologist. She was cheerful and efficient and explained everything thoroughly. The office was nicely appointed, and the administrative staff were very efficient and helpful. I have been using Murray Hill Radiology and Mammography for mammograms and sonograms for 25 years. They are professional, caring and knowledgeable doctors and technicians. You know your results immediately, which is a huge plus. I would highly recommend them.

Having a mammogram is not the most pleasurable experience in general, but at Murray Hill Radiology every person with whom you have contact makes it as easy and painless as possible. Stress is reduced by caring physicians who work quickly to read and interpret your X-rays and report back to you within the hour. Two physicians read your findings and sign off before sending you on your way. If findings indicate further exams, they explain why and how follow up procedures will be handled. Three cheers and five stars for MHR&M.

So glad i found Murray Hill Radiology. Mammography process can be very stressful. Murray Hill helps minimize that. Most important to me is getting results right away, knowing the mammography has been read and interpreted by two radiologists on the spot. And i appreciate their thoroughness. If there is a question, you know and have the follow up films on the spot. One appointment, when you leave the office after your appointment, you leave confident, knowing your results. Takes a lot of the stress out of it. I appreciate Dr. Mitnick, who has notable experience and treats her patients with understanding and kindness. I highly recommend this practice.

While the doctors and technicians were very polite, thorough and efficient, the wait for both the mammogram and sonogram was too long. My appointment was for 12:00 p.m. and I didn’t leave until after 2:00 p.m.The receptionists could be more helpful and friendly and less attitudinal. One in particular acted annoyed at being asked relevant questions.It was also a bit cumbersome walking from room to room carrying my clothing with me. A small locker would have been nice.

Staff was considerate and extremely helpful in accommodating my being on crutches for this appointment. From the reception staff, to the technician performing mammogram and the staff facilitating my going to the waiting room, then the examining room, they were, without exception, extraordinary. I have been going to Murray Hill Radiology and Mammography for the last thirty years or so. I am always in good hands. I Love my Dr. Baskin and the various staff members that helped me on my visit. It was a trip from Queens where I live.....I now take access a ride which I am greatful for.One moment when I was leaving waiting for my car......one of the staff asked if I was okay.....I said I was starving......she said want to go to the waiting room and get a granola bar......I said if she would not mind getting me one...Blueberry granola bar she got it for me and I ate it in 3 bites.Its a trip for me, my friend says why cant I go to a place where I live,my answer to her was.......I know I am in good hands......why change!!!!My thanks to all that help me and all your patients....

My doctors are wonderful: smart, deeply committed to my health, I trust them with my life. I arrived on time for a 3:15 appointment. I left the office after 5. Thats always a problem, Im not sure its solvable in a medical setting.

Dr. Mitnick is the absolute best! She personally reads the films and has another doctor read them too and she personally tells you the results before you leave. She does everything she can to make the experience as pleasant as possible, right down to the full size cloth gowns rather than the short paper gowns other radiology practices use.
