It’s too bad there isn’t a zero rating!, A Christian Dior dress was ruined and 3 shirts were damaged, E. Zegna shirts were shrunken. The worst part of it is that when I gave them a bad review they answer “they could not found my account”. I have the charges to my credit card as proof of service, however I can not believe the dishonesty in claiming I was not a client. Absolutely terrible, stay away.

Popped in without realizing that this was a couture cleaner, meaning they specialize in high-end cleaning and wedding service. The woman at the front desk started talking me through their services and quickly realized I was looking for a normal dry cleaner. She kindly and cheerfully helped me find a different cleaning service. Even though I didnt wind up using Hallak, this was very good customer service and I will be coming back here if I ever need more up-scale services!

I went to a few tailors to get my wedding dress altered and this was by far the best price. I saved about $300. They did an excellent job in a timely manner and I felt like a queen at my last fitting! Beautifully done.

I will never use Hallak Cleaners againHugely expensive, I have still used them for years. But they have been getting worse and worse over the last year...and now it is the last straw. Their astronomic prices used to be justified by excellent quality and service. NO MORE. Their quality and customer service are nonexistent. They have turned into someone else. What has happened with them?First every button that they took off (they insist upon doing it every time, and then charge hugely to resew them...) fell off the first time I wore the garment. This was very costly, as some did not have replacement buttons. So careless. Happened 4 times in a row, over several months .Recently I gave them a number of things to be cleaned, including a prized jacket. They called me and said they would not clean it because it was not color safe. (Totally untrue because since then, someone else cleaned it perfectly). I asked if the owner would call me back to discuss. They said yes, but he never did. The jacket was just unceremoniously dumped on someone elses old wire hanger (their hangers are better), not buttoned, and returned with other cleaned things, where they charge more than $60 FOR A JACKET. Unbelievable. Inexcusable. The owner never called me back to discuss. They are wildly expensive for, now, drastically inferior quality and service. After being loyal for years, I will not be going back...and neither should you. I hear Mme Paulette is pretty good in Manhattan...

Great dry cleaning shop, professional staff, affordable services

I agreed to the astronomical price because I was told they can do Burberry coats and My coat needed a cleaning. Customer service was fine and staff was friendly but my wool coat came back ruined. Just took it out of the package it was returned in and the texture is pulled and pilled all up and down the front and the sleeves and it used to be pristine and smooth. I now looks like an old worn coat and not a beautiful coat I just bought last year (that was very expensive)! Will not be going back here ever again! Really disappointed in this service.

I do not hesitate to say, Hallak can provide 5 star quality cleaning. However communication can be improved.A couple of months a go, I sent in my Burberry trench coat stained with paint to Hallak as recommended by Burberry stores. It returned as if it is a brand new coat, except some stains was not removed as promised. I sent in for a second time service. John, the owner sent me a letter asking for details, I replied. To my surprise, not only I received Johns reply, but also a full refund. See attached Johns reply.I would recommend Hallak, especially for high-end garments.

Sent UGGs and a Louis Vuitton for cleaning . They charged me $564.00 ! Not to mention my purse still had dirt inside the pockets .

Never again! Unbelievably expensive ($183 for a scarf and two blouses) and awful service. All my whites came black in light blue and it took them a week to return them again...in light blue.
