This is the most cheerful place!! I love doing my laundry at V&T’s. There’s always good music playing or something interesting on TV. There are snacks and fresh coffee. Fair prices for everything. And not to mention the KINDEST owners. Plus, if you use a card for your washes you get every 10th one free! Such a good deal. This place is actually fun to hang out at too. Best laundromat! 10/10 recommend :)

The best laundromat to hit this neighborhood in years! The machines are high end, ecologically efficient, using less water and soap. The owners are good people who take pride in their business. It’s always clean. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This place is the best. Clean, open, airy, friendly, helpful. There’s not a single downside I can think of. I go right past the laundromat in the bottom of my building and carry my laundry the 1/4 mile to get there. It’s totally worth it.

Incredibly kind and warm staff. I went in for my first time for drop off and they had it ready the next day, so neat and careful with everything I had. I cant stress how welcoming and kind the staff was. I wish I had gone to them earlier in my time on Washington Heights.

I almost dont want to tell you how great V&Ts is so that I can keep it to myself, but I have to share the wealth. Ive been going to V&Ts since I moved to the area about a year ago, and I will never go to another laundromat (I once turned around and walked home when they were closed instead of going elsewhere).My first time going, Tanya greeted me and asked if Id ever been there before. When I said that I hadnt, she explained the machines and how quickly the loads were done, as well as the other services they provided. It is $3 or $3.50 for a small load, $5 for a medium load, and $7.50 for an industrial sized load. The dryers are 25 cents per 5 minutes, and I never go above 25 minutes. The facility is clean, and Vincent and Tanya are always welcoming.Their dry cleaning services are also wonderful, and I highly recommend them. Ive had numerous dresses and sweaters dry cleaned, and even a table cloth for work. When pricing wasnt finalized for one item, Vincent let me settle up the next time I was in. Their customer service cannot be beat.

I walk more than ten blocks, past 5+ laundromats to get my laundry done here. New York is a big city - but there’s still very few businesses that make you feel as welcomed as you’ll feel at V&T’s Laundry Box. The owners, Vincent & Tonya are like a favorite Tia & Tio (Aunt & Uncle). Lots of their customers are also friendly. I know I’m talking about just a laundromat here but it’s a place so many of us have to spend time in - like a barbershop- life’s too short to have a bad barber or a bad laundromat. The experience of doing laundry here has so far been wholesome & priceless. The best of Harlem is right here in this laundromat. I could go on but you should really see for yourself.

The best laundromat I’ve ever been to! Family owned, always clean, nice machines, and the owners are so personable. It’s a very pleasant place to sit while your clothes are being washed. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. It’s been my go-to spot for two years!

I receive nothing but the best service and the machines are excellent. V and T laundry box is the best launder there is in Harlem, I could not ask for more. Both owners are exceptional and I have been going there for almost 2 years. It is family friendly and community oriented, I recommend this launder location to everyone. This is by far the best laundry mat in the neighborhood. Its clean, the machines are new (they take card fyi), and the staff is incredibly nice. V&Ts feels more like a local coffee shop than a place to clean clothes (and thats not a bad thing!). They have coffee, snacks, and cold drinks. Perfect place to pull up a chair while you wash your clothes and get some reading done (plus they have slushies now!)

The Laundromat Was Clean! It was obvious that the laundromat owner takes pride in the place. I was greeted by both the owners, shown how to use the machines and service was unmatched.Brand new modern washing machines and clean dryers. My clothes didnt end up with mysterious new stains, spots or odours like previous experiences locally.Laundromat was fitted with the latest washing machine and drying technology. I chose the mega large industrial machine they had. All Well-Maintained & i saw no broken down machines.The atmosphere was chill, all laundry products sold at reasonable prices, ample folding tables and carts, parking out front, music playing, drinks, popcorn, wifi, G pay, Apple pay, cards, cash… I had no complaints. Most importantly i had 2 loads of washing and drying done in less than 45minChoosing a quality laundromat in this area has always been an issue. 2 large loads of washing cleaned and dried for less than $9 is very reasonable. This laundromat was spotless and had all the amenities you need and want.Thank you for the pleasant experience...

I dont really write reviews, but the exceptional service here deserves an exception.Ive been going to V&Ts for the past 2 years since I moved into Harlem. I recently moved into a new apartment in Brooklyn that has a single coin-op W/D in the basement, and after 6 weeks living there, can give an accurate comparison of experience.With V&Ts, I never needed to worry about available and functional machines, having loose change (machines have card/contactless payment), air conditioning, or service. On top of that, theres a giant flatscreen thats always playing something entertaining - great movies/TV/music. For a negligible one-time flat membership fee, you get the password to their 30mbps+ Wi-Fi in addition to cleaning discounts, so you can take one of their many chairs and work/relax while you wash. With a super wash cycle in a mid-sized bin that takes 20-26min for $5, and a high-heat dry cycle that takes 16-20min for $0.75-$1, I have been able to enter and exit in 45min or less, but usually Im in no rush to leave. And especially during these Coronavirus times, I can count on V&Ts to be clean and have a spot for me with their online reservation system to practice social distancing. With drinks, snacks, and supplies available for purchase as well, they truly have it all.And this isnt even factoring in the faces behind the establishment, Vince and Tanya. They are both wonderful, down-to-earth people that you should get to know. They have a lot of experience to talk to, and are always game for a good time. Needless to say, their diligence in service reflects who they are as people.Now fast forward 6 weeks, with my new apartment I cannot always wash on my own time in the building - theres no way to organize with the other tenants, so Ive been resorting to washing late at night. The older SpeedQueen machines cost $2.50 for a wash that takes 30min and $2.50 for a dry that takes 45min. Theyll get the job done for $5 if they dont eat a quarter or two along the way, however in about twice the time I was used to in Harlem.I have used Cleanly (now ByNext) in a pinch for pickup and drop-off services (where I know they will handle my clothes right to prevent exposure), however the turnaround is 2 days and it costs me around $30 for the same load.Man I miss V&Ts.

If you aren’t doing your laundry at V&T’s, then you’ve got to give them a shot. Incredible husband and wife team that have created an incredibly clean and friendly environment.Their machines are second to none and barely needed 10 minutes to dry my clothes... that’s how fast the washers spin away water.The prices are great, but we all know we go to a place again because of service and the atmosphere—and V&T’s just can’t be beat!I actually look forward to doing my laundry!

The most wonderful owners, speedy/great machines, and overall best experience Ive ever had doing laundry. V&T is quick and simple! 24 minutes for a wash, and all of the washers/dryers have credit card readers so you don’t have to deal with the hassle of a laundry card or coins. You can be in and out in an hour. Plus the staff is very friendly and nice. Big rec!

Unfortunately, I lost (or was detached from) my house key on the way back there after getting my Covid-19/Corona Virus Protective Mask I had forgotten at my place (St. Nicholas Hotel - Praxis)... Always loved V&Ts. Then I moved uptown and tried to find a new laundromat. After walking into 4 establishments that were full of old, coin only machines that were mostly out of order I gave up and hopped the train down three stops to do laundry at V&Ts. Place is great, machines are better, and the people the best.

I am very happy with the atmosphere and hospitality if the owners. Vincent and Tanya are great and their machines are extremely efficient. They keep the place very clean and everyone that comes in leaves with a smile and a little skip in their step because Vince and Tanya always make you feel welcome! I have been a faithful customer since about July/August of 2018.

I send everyone I know to VT, its immaculate, spacious and high tech. The owners are totally accommodating and friendly. 5 stars! wont find a better facility anywhere near its neighborhood.

The owner Vincent introduces himself and gives you a run down of their facility if you’re a first time washer.I don’t usually use laundromats but this is a great place and extremely clean!! Tanya saw me looking all sorts of confused on a hot Sunday morning and welcomed me, showed me around, and taught me how to work all the different options. These machines are heavy duty and actually clean your clothes without damaging delicates. I’m beyond happy with my experience at V&T’s and will be back again.

One of the best in Manhattan...if not the best! Prices are less than others, accepts Android/Apple, awesome selection of detergents. Machines are ultra fast and the music is awesomely soulful! Super friendly owners!

These machines are so fast - you really can be in and out in under an hour. This is the best laundromat on the planet. High efficiency express washers, the machines take cards and apple/droid pay, the owners are the nicest people ever (introduced themselves to me when they realized I was new) and its so big and sunny and clean with 3 huge tvs playing. I am soooooo happy I found this gem!!!
