THE best locksmith in the UWS for getting anything copied. Got a difficult key copied here for $8.95 another place tried to charge $35 (without the key card). Excellent prices, very friendly, classic New York no frills vibes. Look no further.

Our apartment was broken into through our old but we thought trusty window gate. It was very late at night but they came and put the gate back up so we could feel safe. Since then they installed a new proper gate. Such kind, diligent, skillful folks. I highly recommend them

I have been using AJA Locksmith for decades since the time they were located on Amsterdam Avenue. They have always done a great job, and I have used them several times over the years. They are professional, very reasonably priced, and I have never been disappointed. They have the necessary insurance to get into buildings in Manhattan, and you will be very happy with their work results. Joe, the owner, is one of the nicest men you could talk to, and his mechanics are also wonderful; they take the time necessary to do a great job and are fastidious and careful. Located right in the heart of the Upper West Side on 72nd St., they are easy to get to from most locations in the city.

Quick and easy to copy a key here. Spent less than 5 minutes to get 4 copies. Bring cash unless you plan to spend more than $10.

I just had a wonderful experience at this store. One of my locks wasnt working well. Im ignorant about these matters. When I went in, thinking I might need an entirely new lock, one of their main guys (Im told it may have been Aaron) said that the type of lock I have often needs lubrication. That if I bought a can of WD-40 for $5 that would almost surely solve the problem. I did and immediately the lock was absolutely fine. He had the integrity to offer a solution that cost his store a job replacing a lock!!! We need more people like that in this world.

My neighbor here on w 82nd st was locked out on a Saturday night at 10pm. Frank from AJA was there in about a half hour, a super great guy, and got her back in within minutes. I am a fan of this place.

Best prices in the neighborhood. I made the big mistake of going to Lowes first, where it took the staff twenty minutes to make me keys that did not work and cost more than they told me. So I went to Aja and within three minutes I had my new keys that worked perfectly at a lower price than Lowes. Friendly staff and great experience!

Run back and forth four times to duplicate two keys. They tried again and again but the duplicated keys just don’t work. They ended up saying that there must be something wrong with my lock and it was not their fault. I got a refund and went up to Sky Locksmith at 79th st and Broadway, got myself two perfect functioning keys~ I am leaving a bad review not only because that their lack of capability in what they do wasted my time and energy, also because their attitude in treating this whole situation is very unpleasant: no one from the stuff sympathized or apologized at all, and they ended up blaming my lock!

The person on the phone was insanely rude. I previously used them and they were fine, but the person now managing the shop was belligerent and I would rather pay a bit more than be scolded.

The guy behind the counter was really upset when I asked for help with few things, while he was on his phone with his buddy- I believe since he was cursing on some one. When he finally finished and I asked for few things that I needed, he just responded o sh...Is it normal or Im just missing something...
