Excellent RDF. Well organized recycling and yard composting sections.Give and Take saves a lot of good things from going to the landfill. It had become a little more squatted by “Professional Pickers” over the years so most of the good donations go to a small number of Pros, but still better than going into landfill.

Well organized facility - enjoy going there and the kids love thowing bottles into the bins - good place to see neoghbors and donate items you no longer need

Wellesley does not collect residential trash or garbage, so you must either bring it here or pay someone to haul it away. In addition to trash and yard waste disposal and recycling, you can leave charitable donations, take or leave unwanted household items or books, and get free compost (not topsoil quality) or salted sand (in the winter). Communication has improved since my initial review, although the posted instructions at the recycle bins are still inadequate. Dump closings are now announced both by signs at the dump and on the RDF website.

The best place to mingle with your Wellesley neighbors. The swap it is remarkable for gently used items.

I love this place, it has everything organized except in exchange recycling place you will find broken unused items and creepy dudes scavenging around. We had to report them twice and nobody did anything about it.

Would be nice if the hours could be extended. Most days when I need to go there, the faculty is closed

Excellent dump the only thing bad is the take it or leave it, it generates a lot of people who hang out all day and they dont pay attention to the rest of the people and cause accidents.
