Limoges are super! I’ve been doing electrolysis in several places prior to Limoges that didn’t work very well. Dominick is super quick and gentle and I feel very well taken care of by her. She’s making great progress and they have good packages to purchase. Highly recommend Limoges!

I have been getting electrolysis treatments at Limoges for roughly a year now. Wow, tempus fugit! My treatment area was bad, I mean really bad due to decades of constant shaving, waxing, and plucking of the area, as well as getting chemically burned a time or two. But I am nearly done with my SECOND 15 session package and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Electrolysis is quite on the pricey side — especially when you have decades of damage to undo like me thus requiring many sessions but it is worth the investment. The staff at Limoges are very good at what they do (they can get at those short and stubborn hairs!). They are also personable and accommodating. You will feel comfortable getting your electrolysis sessions at Limoges. Be purposeful and be consistent and you will see a difference!

Very clean and welcoming environment. Your temp is taken before entry. Inside, every surface is cleaned sanitized before and after every client. The girls are very knowledgeable about hair removal with years of experience. I felt completely at ease for my first session. The session was extremely quick with very minimal discomfort. At this point, I spent years doing laser which activated growth and overall I was really frustrated with the outcome. I was so desperate that I ended up starting electrolysis for a month in Atlanta before I moved to NYC. My electrolysist in ATL taught for 20+ years and was very educated in the process. She was determined to find me a talented specialist in NYC. We spent time researching and I even tried a few different spas until I came across Wenya who works at Limoges Beauty. I had a hard time finding someone who felt comfortable with the blend method, so big shout out to Wenya for having the skillset and being good at it. We end up talking during the appointments or sometimes I end up dosing off since my sessions are for an hour. She is gentle and will work based on how your skin reacts. I feel like the space is sanitary and I am always met with kindness. Overall, I have not experienced any issues and I am seeing progress. She walked me through the process explaining how it would work and what to expect. I found the sensation so tolerable we were able to turn up the intensity making it more impactful long term. The whole experience was perfect and I have already signed up for my next session. Smooth shoulders and unwanted facial hair here I come.

Emily,I would’ve loved to go back based on the work you and Tamari did. However, the leg work with Wenya was not up to par. I know everyone has to start somewhere but I can’t afford to pay $130 for so-so work. I prefer quality over price so Im a bit disappointed because I did the second session, which I wasn’t even supposed to do, based on your recommendation. I am also not a guinea pig. I know how insertions should feel, as I have done insertions on myself, and I should not feel the needle. She’s not confident or consistent while working and believe she needs more training before taking clients.I know you pride yourself in your employees and doing extensive training with each individual but you missed the mark in recommending a session with an inexperienced electrologist when I had just gotten through a session with you and Tamari, who have years of experience.I hope you don’t take this review the wrong way as it is just some constructive criticism and wish you all the best!

In both of these other cases, the skin on my face would remain red and irritated for weeks after my treatments, and I felt like my skin was scarring. Limoges Beauty is definitely the spot to go to for electrolysis! Once businesses were able to open up during COVID-19, I decided to make an electrolysis appointment to treat unwanted hair. I did a consultation and was told an estimate of how long it would take to complete the process and was reassured that my hairs would slowly start to stop growing. My technician is extremely skillful, always removing all the hair within the timeframe. She always tells me exactly how long she thinks each appointment would be and takes advantage of every minute. I never feel uncomfortable, and that is saying something considering I am a very shy, self-conscious individual! My technician is also so easy to talk to and there is usually never a silent moment; if there is, it is never uncomfortable and there is always music playing in the back. Regarding electrolysis, it really works! In the beginning, I was nervous because I really didnt see much of a difference. But as time went on, I realized my technician was taking less and less time to get all the unwanted hair. Its been three months, I believe, and the hair has lessened dramatically! Emily and her staff are extremely diligent, kind, and care so much about their clients! Definitely recommend coming here (I take the train from Jersey every 3 or so weeks) for electrolysis!

Ive been going to Limoges for 2 months now with astonishing results after just 1 session! Nine months ago I started my electrolysis journey at a different location. Being Greek, Jewish and having PCOS, I have *thick* hair and was so excited to start but after three months, I had to stop because the pain was simply too much to handle. I went back to obsessively shaving every day before deciding to give Limoges a try a few weeks ago and wow! I am so thankful I did. I’ve completed four sessions with them for my upper lip and have found the pain to be a fraction of what it was at the prior location. I know it will likely take over a year to get the hairs fully cleared from my face, but after just a few sessions with them I’ve been able to go from shaving once or twice a day (and using thick cover up) to shaving every 2-3 days and feeling confident going makeup free again. Limoges is great! I come here for both electrolysis and botox.The electrologists, Dominique, Tamari, and Emily, are all very kind, skilled, and effective at what they do. They use newer machines which allows them to fine tune the settings to treat your hair as effectively as possible while minimizing the discomfort (even treating the most sensitive areas has not been that painful!). I could not be more thrilled with my results from Limoges Beauty and the incredible staff. I struggled for years with hair growth on my chin due to a scar from when I was younger. I tried everything: waxing, shaving, tweezing, and laser and nothing managed to do the trick. Laser would leave me red and blistering and electrolysis is nothing like that. I have seen my hair growth decrease significantly and have never had any blistering or scabbing from the experience. It is painless and effective!

These ladies are extremely professional, organized, and know their stuff. As someone with African American skin I have had my fair share of bad experiences with electrolysis. Love the fact that you can also set appointments online. Very conveniently located, I can pop in and out during lunch. I highly recommend them.

Honestly, I have been here now about 4 or 5 times and I HIGHLY recommend Limoges. I have had some Botox and fillers with Stephanie . She is very skilled and great at what she does. I am always 100% happy with the results. There is never any pressure to do anything other than what you come in for. They explain the procedure and the expected results thoroughly. She always make sure you are comfortable and take the time to really listen to your needs. Before an appointment, I ask several questions via email and She is always so quick to return them and could not be more helpful. I just had an appointment yesterday and I cant wait for my next one .

I love this place. I suffer from hormonal hair growth due to PCOS(polycystic ovarian syndrome). I had excessive facial hair under my chin,upper lip, cheeks and would have to shave everyday. In the past I tried laser hair removal and noticed that it actually stimulated hair growth on my face so I started to grow hair on areas where I did not have hair before so I stopped treatment. I did my research and came across Limoges Beauty and I’m so happy I did. I Booked my first appointment with Dominique who changed my life!!! She is sweet,professional and passionate about her job. I saw results after my first treatment! I no longer have to shave everyday, Some of the hairs under my chin don’t grow back and the ones that do are thinner and take about 2 weeks to grow back, and my skin is much smoother! My experience at Limoges Beauty has been honestly life changing. Ive struggled with dark, stubborn, unwanted hair since I was a little girl. I was bullied growing up because of my mustache and unibrow. Ive tried literally all hair removal remedies that exist. Electrolysis is the ONLY hair removal process that has successfully removed my unwanted hair (from the lip to random moles to the areola area, etc) Not only does it remove the hair, but it removes it for good. I went from having to worry about hair on my lip growing back basically the next day to going weeks-months without seeing a thing. In addition to how truly happy and excited I am about the results, the staff at Limoges is absolutely amazing. My first consultation with Dominique was super informative and I learned a lot about how electrolysis actually works as permanent hair removal.
