I bought a pack of 8 microdermabrasion sessions. As a newbie to spa facials I appreciated that every technician was knowledgeable and helpful and I felt super comfortable and informed plus happy with the results!

After lockdowns with closed gyms, I went for the crio procedure and get faster results on my workouts. The staff was so unique and friendly that this became the the most adorable moment of my week. Not only we discussed the procedure, but was nice to have someone that can connect with the clients and make you fee comfortable. It is my first time getting laser hair removal treatment and its been a great experience so far. I visited 2 locations: the Midtown and the Uptown offices. Both places are very clean and have stylish layouts. The technicians were welcoming, kind, and professional. I am very sensitive to any pain in general and I was relieved because it was totally painless procedure (they use gel with cooling effect). I could see the visible results after the second treatment. I highly recommend BioSkin Laser.

I had a good experience at Bioskin Laser. I went for for Velashape purchased through Groupon. Both Manhattan locatons were clean and pleasant, though there was sometimes a delay in getting my session started. Overall the service was very good and a very good value. Before writing this review I checked the negative reviews out of curiosity. All of them seemed to be from a year or more ago. The situation must have improved since then.

I bought 6 vela shape treatments and have had 5. I am very happy with the service and the results. Sophie is great and there are other 2 blond girls who are very nice and also do a good job. The office is clean and pleasant and if you arrive on time or a few min before you can be sure to stay on schedule. They are really punctual and work with the schedule and that is why you have to make an appointment. I would highly recommend and actually Im buying a new treatment with them because Im happy all around.

I love Andrea I hope I remembered her name correctly but the one that’s located at 105 East 37th st 2nd floor is the best she was nice, professional and she made sure I felt comfortable and most importantly she’s fixing all my problem areas. Staff was nice and the wait was never long. I had bought two packages for laser hair removal over the course of two years totaling 19 sessions. Although the hair has diminished significantly on my legs I can say the same for my underarms. They did upgrade their equipment so maybe it will yield better results but I’m not continuing anymore sessions with them.

I absolutely LOVE Bio Skin Laser. I cannot believe how little hair I have left on my underarms, brazilian, and upper lip. Ive only done 6 sessions and I rarely have to shave now. Andrea is incredible and Im excited to see the final results at the end of this process.

I used the NJ location. When I 1st started i purchased an unlimited package for the fat freeze and it was great. The reason for the 3 star is b/c employees dont last very long and I was treated very poorly by a rep named Alice I believe. They keep notes on clients and she wrote lies that I was fighting regarding pricing when all I did was ask why she was charging a price that was different from the price that manager gave me. Nothing else. I was so upset. I asked to me called back because I felt I had to defend myself and never got a call back. But everything was great until this one rep. Place is clean and nice.

Staff, location, fees all of it is convenient but I noticed that they don’t seem to clean the machines well after or before each use. If you pay attention it’s always dripping or has some sort of gel on it. Makes me wonder.

I’m having laser hair removal done at the Englewood location. Everyone is so nice and really understands what they are talking about. I feel like I’m in great hands. The office is also very pretty and relaxing. I enjoy my monthly visit. Highly recommend!

Started a treatment course at the Englewood Office, great layout and staff. Love the decor! The technician was efficient and so sweet, i was a little nervous but she made me feel comfortable and answered any questions i had! She made me feel at ease. I had a pleasant experience today for my 1/6 laser hair removal sessions. I went to the new location opened in Englewood. I only gave four stars because it was a little unorganized. Which I could tell was do to just recently opening. The office was clean and new. The technician was running a little behind but it seemed she had a lot on her plate. She was doing the job of the receptionists (check-in, paperwork, and taking appointments), cashier, and seeing clients in-between. They did have a woman at the front desk but again shes new, as is the location. Thats really my only complaint. Other than that it was great. Quick too. I had my lower legs done and though the technician was running a little late I was still out of there on time.

I went to Bioskin Laser for a consultation on laser hair removal & stretch marks. They where honest about expectations since stretch marks are hard to treat. I started Microablading micronidleng RF pixel laser. for my stretchmarks - its only been two or three sessions but i feel as if the grooves are not as deep as they used to be! Andrea and the staff at Bioskin are really courteous and professonal - you wont regret trying them out!

I have been meaning to write this sooner but have been traveling and had rare access to text/email.I have had five or six treatments at BioSkin. The fact that I had more than one speaks volumes. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, professional and provides suggestions to treatment options as requested. While I haven’t been there in a while due to travels, I still intend to seek further treatments of the “fat freeze” soon.

I had my first laser hair removal treatment at the 37th st. location and it went exceptionally well. Sofia was professional and had great customer service. She continuously checked on me throughout the process and explained the procedure both before and what to expect after. The location is clean and welcoming. Needless to say I will be going back and I have already recommended it to friends.

My face is in complete hives ! Itching and burning. I am in tears. I purchased a package and I would like a refund. They denied my request and refuse to speak to me. Initially they told me they were extremely sorry and that the woman who did my face was brand new. Now they are telling me that they cannot help me and that the woman is extremely experienced. I am so scared right now and my money is gone because they will not refund me. Please do not book with them! These women are awful. I wish I could attach pictures of my face!I do not know what to do!Please be careful.

So I HARDLY ever write a review, but this place truly deserves a good one.So after I been doing bikini waxing with the normal waxing strips which was really really painful I started looking up for some other options and came through this center.They are a little bit pricier than most places, but their lasers are in immaculate condition. Everything is top notch here and the staff are so efficient, thats what is most important to me when Im getting zapped. I highly recommend them!

So far, so good. I just had my first visit/consultation with their Medical Director in regards to the Cool Fat Cryo and I am super excited about the experience. From the moment I walked into the facility, I felt welcomed. Everyone was knowledgeable and nice and the experience as a whole was very pleasant. I am excited to see what happens as I move forward with my procedures.

Today I went for my second full body procedure, 4 weeks after my first body treatment and I must say, the results after the first session are amazing!!! The first 2 weeks I honestly thought the procedure didnt do anything but by the third week, after the hair follicles pushed out the treated hairs, I had barely any regrowth, UNBELIEVABLE!!! I shaved once in the 3rd week, only because I was going swimming with friends but the growth of the hairs I did have was slowed down tremendously! My second treatment today was great as well and Sophia turned up the setting a bit which she does at every session, as your skin gets used to the laser. She is very diligent in following up with her clients to make sure they are doing well after every session and keeps a file to record every patients settings etc.Im going on vacation in February and I couldnt be happier about not having to shave every day while Im there! I highly recommend Bio Skin Laser for laser hair removal and I will keep updating my results as my treatments progress. I didnt think I would be posting a review so I didnt take any photos but I definitely will add some soon.

I was trying to get a simple answer from the faculty on the phone.. she decides to hang up in my face and tell me to stop calling.. mind you I was NOT being rude AT ALL and she was being rude the whole time while STILL not answering a simple question. Called back after she HUNG UP in my face and she doesn’t pick up. Definitely not a good impression. Do NOT recommend.

I got a package here. The staff changed about 4 times during a 9 month period. It’s very difficult to get an appointment if you don’t schedule far in advance but they do get back to you if you call. Staff was always friendly and peofessional

I just wanted to let everyone know what a great experience I had with this place. I have been a regular client for the laser hair removal that worked very good but I am still not done with the treatments. My favorite machine is now the Venus, this is the best! it made the skin in my stomach so much tighter and I can notice some of my stretch marks fading, I only had 4 treatments and I am ready to go for my 5th. Best of all it is painless. I am super happy with this place.

Sofia is the best! I have had almost 12 Venus legacy sessions on my ass, and she has completely reshaped it. At the age of 49, I am finally seeing a shape I thought was gone forever...even after years at the gym, certain areas would just not budge. Its really exciting to look in the mirror, and see things lifting. Im definitely hooked! Went in yesterday and I’m completely at a lost for words at how terrible my technician treated me. I run a business myself and I ensure my employees give every client an experience despite whatever else may be going on in their lives. She had a terrible attitude and clearly did not want to be bothered doing my treatment. She did the treatment in one single section despite me asking her to do my whole upper thigh which is what I paid for . I’m suppose to get 30 mins she was done in 15-20 mins. When I tried to book my next appointment she gave me attitude as if I was a nuance to her. I did not appreciate her demeaning responses every time I asked a question. I have to finish my treatment but I will never let her touch me again what a waste of my treatment. I will be calling management.

Very accommodating with a scheduling conflict that I had. Also I like that they arent pushy by trying to upsell products and procedures but instead were very informative about my options.

I went to the Manhattan facility a few months ago, paid almost $400 and got nothing out of it. Its a scam. The technicians dont know exactly what they are doing. They hurt me as well. On my first treatment the technician couldnt get the machine to work properly. I dont evern know if they are really certified.These people also wanted me to go on a 1363 calories a day, I was already at a 1300 a day and going to the gym, for that I paid almost 400, for them to tell me to do what I was already doing. If I looked for their help is because what I was doing wasnt 100% working and I needed a little push, it didnt work.This facility doesnt even have a machine approved by the FDA.I DONT recommend this place at all. Be careful!!!!

I came here for a groupon VELA shape package thinking that I would use my sessions and that would be it. One year later, I am still going on a weekly basis thanks to Sofia. She has treated me for laser hair removal and Vela and I love the results. She is professional, always on time, and has become someone I look forward to seeing every week. I went to the 37th St location for fat freezing today. So this review is for my experience in the office. Ill post another review in a few months when I will know whether or not the treatment worked. The tech who both greeted me at the door and treated me was sweet to me and made me feel very comfortable. I didnt know much about the process and she answered all my questions without seeming to judge me or rush me in any way. When she looked at my body, she asked me what was bothering me and what I wanted to change. She didnt try to tell me I needed more work done than I wanted. I have some fat deposits that dont bother me and others that do. The tech didnt try to make me feel ugly or fat or anything so I would get more treatments. All she did was make me feel good. She checked on me during the treatment, asking me multiple times if I felt ok. So, as far as courtesy goes, I would recommend this place.

About a year ago I went for a consultation at Bio Skin Laser for upper lip and chin laser hair removal. Before starting any of my laser treatments the staff had told me that facial hair may take longer to remove because of hormones and so they recommended doing a total of 9 sessions (one session per month) and not just 6 sessions. I agreed to doing the 9 session plan because I trusted theyre word. After going for 9 months total and still seeing hair growth on my upper lip and chin I asked the staff why was I still seeing this hair growth if they promised 9 sessions would do the job since 6 sessions was too little. They said that its not totally guaranteed that the laser treatment wold remove all hair from those areas and that I would have to continue doing these laser treatments for years because it doesnt all go away with just 9 sessions. After these people had first told me that 9 sessions would remove all hair from my upper lip and chin, they dare to say that Im going to have to do this for years. The issue here is not that I would have to keep paying for more sessions (for years), the real issue is the lack of honesty within the staff and false information they gave me when I first went to their office. STAFF NEEDS TO BE HONEST AND CLEAR ABOUT THE INFORMATION THEY PROVIDE TO CUSTOMERS!

I had horrible experience in this place. First of all it’s not very clean. I was there on time but they made me wait 40 minutes and didn’t even apologize. The woman lied me that machine didn’t work but she was actually busy with other client and didn’t seem to hurry. She didn’t even bother to call me and ask to come later. As a result I was late for my doctors appointment.

Do not trust this place with your money. I purchased a package directly from them. The Doctor left and they would not honor the balance. They did not respond to my emails and voicemails. I went in person they were supposed to get back to me & never did. DO NOT use them for your services or give your money. It’s a shame bc they had an amazing tech there & the office is in a great location but they don’t honor their clients or respect the money we spend.

I had Venus Freeze on my upper arms with the goal of decreasing the overall circumference in order to look more toned. It can also help tighten wrinkly arm skin, but I havent hit that stage in life yet, so we were just focused on getting rid of the waddles as much as we could. My end result was that I went from approximately 10.75 diameter on each arm down to just over 9.75...which for not touching a dumbbell, dieting or really doing anything else to help tone my arms throughout the entire treatment process, is quite a feat!

The facility is clean and the technicians are nice. Unfortunately, the receptionist, Amanda, is incompetent. On more than one occasion she mixed up my appointments and I had to reschedule. In addition, she is aggressive and speaks to clients in a condescending manner. As a small business owner, I understand why she takes care of billing issues, as many businesses have someone rude to take care of billing. However, I am disappointed that she is most clients point of contact. My interactions with her and observing her interactions with others, has me doubtful of returning to this facility.

Ive been coming to Bio Skin Laser for over a year now for microdermabrasion. I had gone to a couple of places prior but no place even compares! Everyone on staff is just so lovely - they are always so friendly and every technician that Ive had does a stellar job (with each visit my acne scars are fading and my skin is super soft). Plus their facilities are well maintained and always clean and super easy to get to. I would highly recommend to anyone who is considering microdermabrasion to go here!

Complete and total waste of my time! I booked an appointment for a wax, also because I wanted to inquire about their laser skin procedures in person. The technician I was supposed to see found out she was pregnant and left a few days before my appointment and no one bothered to let me know not to come in. The space is really gorgeous, clean, and full of super awesome, knowledgeable estheticians complete with the clinical white jackets and all. I came in for a laser hair treatment. I was very anxious and nervous since it was my first time.The treatment however, was great (painful but great). The office has a calm, clean, and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for soothing you afterwards. All my questions were answered, and I can really see the results right away. Its been 4 weeks, a ton of the hair has NOT grown back. Which is spectacular =). She was totally friendly and a great wealth of information on the treatment.Im scheduled to go back next week totally looking forward to it.

I purchased four microdermabrasion from Groupon for the Murray Hill site. I did my first micro session 2 weeks ago and they suggested spacing each session 2 weeks apart which was great. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean and relaxing. They also give great recommendations when it comes to skincare and Ill be using their services for other things.

Just did my first VelaShape treatment and really appreciated how knowledgable and friendly the staff were. I asked the technician a million questions about the process (it was my first time!) and she was so patient and informative. Yes, the process can be uncomfortable but I was never in excruciating pain; that said the technician was attentive to my pain threshold. I visited the E. 37th St. location, highly recommend!

I have just and my 2nd Vela treatment with Sofia at the 37th St location and am going back for more ! Sofia was so welcoming, timely and a master at her work !

I went to the Englewood NJ office. The one nice person who took care of me was Orisola ( I know I didn’t spell her name correctly!). She was very professional and she tried to not hurt me in the treatment. I got her most of the time. There was one time when she wasn’t there and the person called to cancel my appointment when I already had driven there with 1/2 hour to go. She upset me very much as I drove from NY to NJ just for the treatment. When I came in she miraculously said that she fixed the laser by herself and she was very nasty during the treatment. She threatened to burn me with the laser as I was in her chair. She did have to turn down the machine several times and took joy in hurting me. The next time I had an appointment I prayed it wasn’t with the black haired torture woman. I even contemplated going to the NY office to get away from her. She was in the office that time but thank god orisola treated me! On my last treatment I heard that she was fired and I was very happy but wondering where that crazy girl would work next!! That is my experience and I would go back- and if Orisola would take me for the treatments.

I love this place! The girls are so friendly and professional, especially Christina. They use a very good wax and discomfort is minimal. I highly recommend BioSkin.

I visited this spa after purchasing a Groupon for 4 microdermabrasion treatments. The facility is in a great location and the space is nice and feels very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I thought the facial itself was a bit short and rushed -- I have had this same treatment at other spas in NYC in the past and they have taken their time and done more than Bio Skin. However, overall, a good experience for the discounted value.

I was very nervous, as I have dark skin, and Ive heard so many horror stories. Id alsohad two laser sessions years ago and saw little (if any) results. So, the pain plus theskepticism made me quite nervous!When I first walked in I was greeted and asked to fill out paper work (typical). Got theremaybe about 10 minutes before my session. After the paperwork I met the technicianwho would be doing my session (Andrea). I asked her a million and one questions. Notonce did she get upset or try to rush me. She explained the whole process. As to what Ishould expect with the hair growth in the future and the pain level. Everything was verythorough.When it came time to actually completing the session I do admit I was still a bit anxiousand nervous. But Andrea was AMAZING. In less than 5 minutes it was over -- Brazilianconquered lol. It was without a doubt painful, but if youve had a Brazilian wax before,its actually less painful. Its psychological pain in part for sure - knowing youre burninghair off your lady bits with a laser would make anyone think its more painful than it is!Plus the slight smell of the hair burning doesnt help!But I am SUPER pleased with my results. Its been 4 weeks after the first session, Iwould say 75% of my hair had shed (and I havent seen a re-appearance, except baby-fine hairs). Well see how it is in a few months once a few hair cycles have happened,but considering my Brazilian waxes were usually showing re-appearance after a weekand a half Im pretty pleased.I had my second session yesterday, and it was definitely slightly more painful (but kinda expected it, still a bit nervous).The office is clean, and relaxing. My technician was extremely patient with me beingvery jumpy with every laser hit! I was profusely apologetic but she reassured me Iddone a good job (which Im sure was not true, but I appreciated it none the less).I am very excited to go through my treatments and even more excited at the possibilityof never buying a Brazilian wax again!

This is the best place Ive found in NYC. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the salon is clean, prices are super reasonable, and youre in the heart of the New York City.

The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming and sweet, Dr. Dan made me feel very comfortable and assured. Nice clean environment and excited for my future visits!
