Idk why they even have an online reservation for I reserved a car to pick me up early paid w my credit card received the confirmation thought I was good to good as they confirmed my reservation and then the next day Iβm waiting and waiting and waiting had to call their dispatch to find out they cancelled my ride without no notice no email no call they charged my card and I ended getting to work late because of their negligence would never use them again π€¬ very disappointed
Im literally in shock. Ive been a very loyal customer and my family as well for years. But lately the drivers are not professional. They are always attempting to romance the female customers. First it was my sister, then my wife. I used this car service because of their past reputation. But it has now been tarnish. I want my family to feel safe and assured that they will have a comfortable ride.Note being hit on.
Called them for the first time today because a co-worker of mine recommended them to me from the New York Presbyterian hospital. I was a little hesitant at first because i usually i would order a uber but Im done with Uber. Theyre so over rated. Anywho the driver (419 i didnt get his name) that picked me up was very respectful and i enjoyed the peaceful ride to my destination today. Thank you guys so much! P.s. the dispatcher i spoke to today was also courteous . Just saying.
Literally got yelled at by the taxi driver at for fault in the app. Iβve driven with them several times and Iβve never had an incident like this till last month. When I started sharing my story several others mentioned a similar incident or worse. I only want them to train their drivers to show respect to the customers as incident could have gone COMPLETELY different.

I have been a loyal customer for years.my entire family as a matter of fact . Every tip to the airport and any outing that calls for a car riverside was the one and I my car service.however like many on here have described the dispatcher is a total bulldog when it comes to customer service. Extremely rude and I do not appreciate the way he spoke to my parents .yes I get it a lot of your customers are Latinos mothers and fathers older folks thst are not tech savvy .but they deserve respect. My mother left her house keys in a car and she called to find out if she left it in the cab.the answer received from the dispatchers β he is not working and Iβm not calling to wake him upβ. Is that the way to answer?how about no report of keys lost but try calling at such time when the driver goes back on duty. I will not be using this service anymore I will be cancelling my app and taking this report further because no one is going to treat an older lady with that kind of disrespect and a loyal one at that. But, this time with Rental Car and Limo Service, I had to. I am pleased with the services offered by them. The staff is really humble and sweet. This company fails on customer service, they need to go back to school.
The application cancelled the car and charged by card. When I called the car service line, I was placed on hold for 30 minutes and hung up on. Was told is not their problem my car service was cancelled that I need to wait for the bank to give me my money back instead of sending a new cab. The dispatchers need to be retrained or fired!! This is not the way to treat loyal customer. Also the application should be fixed or not be advertised at all.

This car service was the worst experience ever i lost my school laptop in the cab and then the driver told the dispatcher that we were the last ones there and told us to call in the morning which we did and he said that he didnβt find it which was a lie because if we was the last customers you had it shouldβve been there in the seat not only did he lie but he stole a schoolβs laptop

I have been using this company for over 17 years. They always gave excellent service and the drivers are professional and friendly. Iβm not sure what has happened since they linked the bases but it seems lately that cars take my reservation and then drop it a block from the pickup location. Very sad. Maybe itβs time for lyft.

The only reason i am giving them 1 star is because i can not give ZERO.MOST of these cab drivers are men that SMELL horrible. They need to tell these drivers to take a shower before heading to work. Having to ride and pay for a smelly ride is upsetting. On top of that they have no respect they play there music or radio stations loudly. Never using this car service again.

I called and asked for a car that does take a card for a use of payment. The man on the call says β2 minutesβ so I head on downstairs to find that Car 159 was not downstairs. They text the number, model, make, and color to my phone. After 8 minutes of waiting I call to see the hold up. I give him my address to confirm if a Taxi was coming my way, he said he never sent a taxi and that he told me there werenβt any taxiβs who where taking cards at the moment. WHY WOULD YOU SEND ME A TEXT MESSAGE ABOUT AN INCOMING CAR AND THEN NOT SEND A CAR?!?! I got very mad and asked him to repeat what he said. He said no & hung up. Worst service & wouldnβt recommend.
Driver #77 she was very rude called my phone before she arrived with attitude telling me to come down. Ask for me to pay her before I even got in the cab. And the whole ride she was complaining on how the customers Should be there before they arrive. Riverside does a good job on texting you with the arrival time and when theyβre on location, and when the driver gets there they are require to wait for the customer 5 minutes. If them 5 minutes past they could leave or give the customers a courtesy call asking if they coming or not. But this lady was very rude and complaining like if she was picking for a fight. Driver #77 makes the whole Riverside car and limo service look BAD!

Bad service from these today (11 July 2017).I used this company yesterday (10 July 2017) because the hotel I stayed booked the cab for me and the guy (his car number on the card he gave me was 550) who drove me yesterday (10 July 2017) gave me the company card and said so I could call the office on the card if I needed a taxi. The driver in question told me he was sent to drive from many airports in New York with this company and he was professional when he was driving me.So today (11 July 2017) When I phone to book a taxi with these guys, I had the phone on speaker phone as I had a friend who was coming with me to the airport and I was helping her pack etc.Now after explaining I needed a car from where I was located to where I was going, the guy asked me for my phone number to call. Before I carry on let me point out two things:1) I had the phone on speaker phone and I had the phone held straight to my mouth so the person - the other end - could hear me.2) I was born in the United Kingdom so technically I spoke ENGLISH which is the same language that is spoken here in America (right?).So when the operator asked me for my number he kept getting my mobile number wrong and I had to keep correcting him. I mean come on a British person not speaking English ... ? After repeating my mobile number SIX TIMES and each time the guy kept lying saying he cannot hear me and yet he was able to understand the words I need a car from this hotel to this airport at 6.30am on 12 July then after saying my number 6 times and telling him he got parts of my number wrong, he said I was not talking anywhere near the phones speaker and I need to talk closer to the phone when my mouth was talking right by the speaker (I mean where was I meant to be talking into? Weve all had phoned for years so we all know which end of the phone to talk into), he then transferred me to someone else without saying he was going to do that.So after the operator randomly transferred me, I repeated what I said to the new operator that was going to take my booking. Now he then told me he will only send card to people who live by the river, which defeats the point of what the driver (who was driving me yesterday) said to me about how this company will pick up from anywhere and also the hotel I was staying at yesterday (10 July 2017) was nowhere near a river where the second operator said they would drive.Funnier is, the driver who drove me yesterday (10 July 2017) was the only reason I was going to use this company and me and him had a conversion where that driver said that all it takes was (at least) ONE person to give you a bad experience to get you to never go back to using that company again, and that is exactly what the two operators that spoke to me today did. I have no intention of using or recommending you guys if you was to accuse me of lying and not speaking the English language when I was born in London, England, United Kingdom and I been speaking English since I was born 30 years ago.I think the first operator I spoke to did not like the fact I gave him a BRITISH mobile number because I live in th UK and was only in New York for 3 days which was why he maybe accusing me of not speaking English. I mean why would I buy an American mobile phone/SIM card/number for the 3 days that I was going to be in the states for? What would I do with it once I go back him to the UK?
They have bad service, once i call a unit and the trip was 13 dollars and the Lady charged me 20 dollars, i reported the issue and they said they were going to disable her for a day and then and that they were going to give me an extra credit but they never did it. Not all of them are bad but things like that, you realized how good its the service π

Probably one of the WORST car services Ive ever (attempted to) use. I found them online and booked a trip for a 90-year old lady for the following day on their portal. I was quoted $10/20 roundtrip. So far so good. The next day, I called half an hour before the scheduled pickup time, just to confirm. I was then told by probably one of the rudest individuals on the face of the earth that the price I was quoted is inaccurate and that its their policy to charge $25 per trip for pre-bookings. When I asked why the system would then let me schedule at all, he said I should have called. When I asked why he didnt call me when he saw that I had made that booking, he said they get 1000 calls a day and that my booking was hiding in the system until it was time to dispatch the driver. Um, ok. He told me to call back when I needed the cab, but couldnt promise he would have one (which is the entire reason I prebooked in the first place). At that point, I needed the car in 15 minutes, so he put me on hold, then came back to yell something in Spanish and hung up. Two minutes later, I get a text message that the driver is 5 minutes away. If you have ever dealt with a 90-year old, you will know that asking them last minute to come downstairs for taxi pickup earlier than planned is not ideal. She did anyways, and only saw the taillights of a black car driving away. Because she is old and doesnt have a cellphone, she decided to wait. And wait. And wait. Meanwhile, I got no phonecall from the company about the status, no one picked up the phone, no email, nothing. She finally had to call a cab herself and came to meet me in tears an hour later. How a company like this stays in business is beyond me, but I will do my best to discourage anyone from giving them your time and money. Theres many cab companies - learn from my experience and use another one!
I had used them last year & the driver himself was great but automatically charged the highest amount without asking for a suv. I tried to book another trip & they were awful! After informing them it was an emergency apt for my sick dog they proceeded to then change & lie stating within the minutes there was no available cars, suvβs Etc...... for a trip i did not specify when her apt was. Then before I could even say anything or actually hear the rest they hung up on me not once but three times after calling & telling them I couldnβt hear what he was saying before hanging up on me abruptly. They were yelling condescendingly yelling each word loudly & when I asked why were they so rude, very unprofessional & rude I was cursed at! DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE EVER!!! THE WORST I HAVE EVER USED IN THE MY 45 YEARS! U WILL REGRET IT! USE ANY OTHER SOURCE EVEN IF IT COSTS MORE THAN THERE PRICESS. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU AS MUCH AS THEY CAN!!!!
They over charge four time for a taxi that never came. On 12/27 they charge $16.10 twice and yesterday they didnt accept my card but they still charge me $18.00. Twice!!!!!Explain that!!!!

He was very nice and courteous. As a result, I decided to continue with riverside as my choice of service. He explained that the driver was placed on probation and the case was pass over to their ethical department for further review. He stated that I would be notified of the outcome and that I should be hearing from the base president shortly. Until now I have not heard from any but that is OK. All I want is for riverside to further vet their driver and not just hire individuals that just have driver license. Thank you Juan for reaching out to me. Truly appreciate it!I could give this base a negative star I would. I order a ride on 12/28/16. A ride I take on average 4 times a week and get charge 12 dollars. Today cab driver Rafael Corniel #707 had the audacity to tried and charge me 20 dollars. A ride that takes 15 minutes! Im sorry riverside but was I offered a massage and drink and a 3 course meal and somehow missed it??? Then I told him to call the base to confirm price and he replied no you call the base. Thats his job to do not me but ok I did. I was not at all please with base respond although they did tell the driver it was not 20 they did still overcharge by two dollars. Instead of my usual 12 I payed 14 which is OK 2 dollar extra but is the principle that matters and thats why Im not happy. Good bye riverside. So long!

Im disgusted that these people have the audacity to call themselves a service, the recievers who answer calls disrespect customers hang up on people and leave you on hold for ages, i was hung up on 3 times and when i finally got them to send a car it never came, after two more attempts a cb finally arived. Not only did the driver double park horibbly he had headphones on soi had to ask 4 times and knock on the window for him to open the trunk. The car smelled musky and it was a horrid experience over all

This morning I was waiting for 5 minutes outside the base for a cab with my 7 year old son after being told my cab was coming in 3 minutes. After the cab finally came and I got in the distpatcher made me come out the cab and gave it to another guy who was waiting inside the office mind you we was waiting outside in a 20 degrees weather. Horrible customer service they donβt even deserve one star
