I used to go to Ruben at his shop up the street. Glad to have found him here. Friendly and cool shop, they do a great job, I’ll come up here from queens to get my hair cut from now on.

I am traveling across the country with a brief stop in NYC. We passed by this barbershop on our way to lunch and I decided to look up the reviews. All the ones I saw were great, so I stopped in. Reubin got me and rocked it. He was quick and efficient and looked like Vangogh making sure it was just right! I will definitely go back, but wished I lived here to make it easier ... Get your next cut at this place, and ask for Reubin.

This place is awesome. I moved to New York a year ago and wasn’t able to find a good barber...until now. Josef Peguero cut my hair the first time and did an amazing job. I just went back for the second time to see Josef and got another amazing cut. So happy to have finally found my go-to barber in the city. Would highly recommend Josef to anyone looking for a great cut from an extremely detail-oriented barber. He actually listens to what you want and takes the time to do things right.

Asked for a fade haircut with long hair up top. The barber seemed to have ignored the picture i showed him. He got the fade right, but proceeded to mow down the entire top of my head. While Id like to give this place another try, I dont think Ill be able to for the next few months as I got no hair left at this point.

I dont know why this place has such a high rating. Been there twice. I dont speak Spanish and had trouble communicating with barbers on both times. They seem to have a lot of regulars and dont really care about new customers. Price is 20 which is standard across all places here. First time the Latino barber cut it ok, second time went to the only African barber thinking he would speak English but he seemed to have even worse English. Never going back here again.

I just got back from the place and the barber left half of my hair on the top of my head double the length compared to the other half. These people are incapable of doing any reasonable haircut. The place is a dumpster and they re-use razors.Do you think this is a joke? I have work tomorrow and I dont know how I am supposed to show up.Unfortunately is cash only. Otherwise I would dispute the transaction as fraud.
