Went in for a haircut. Showed the barber a picture of the exact cut I wanted. Thought it looked okay right after the cut, even though it looked nothing like the picture (The first picture). The cut was also completely lopsided. Also asked to have two small notches added to one of my eyebrows. Ended up with two chunks missing from that eyebrow. The barber also reshaped my eyebrows without permission and cut me in two places.

Boris has cut my hair twice now. Very good at the straight razor shave. Im a convert. Good price too.

Walked in on a Sunday afternoon and got taken care of by Sam who did an awesome job. I moved here from SF a few weeks ago and have been looking for a decent barbershop. Sam got the job done for half the price and half the time I’m used to. Will definitely use their services again. Thanks guys!

Today was my first time visiting the shop...and what an amazing experience. I’ve had my hair/beard cut many times, but Peter at Ace of Cuts knocked it out of the park. This is hands down the best haircut/bear trim I’ve ever received. I showed Peter a picture of what I was going for and he nailed it! He was thorough, professional and quick. I wish I lived in the city because this would be my full time barber shop. Don’t hesitate...these guys are pros!!

Have been not following the city guidelines with garbage pickup for private sanitation department and will be address with city and directly with owner and be reported.. G@ve a customer rating and was address from alex(son)&Peter(father) about there wrong doing and was not happy of something they do themselves..get mad at yourself and next time you approach me ya two son and father there will be charges file against all over a customer rating on Google maps..

Great haircut, got exactly what I asked for and at a reasonable price. Very relaxed, laid-back atmosphere in a classic barbershop. Clientele was diverse and the place felt welcoming. I was visiting from Atlanta and needed a haircut on short notice. Ace of Cuts doesn’t require reservations and I experienced a very short wait after I walked in (only ten minutes).

Alex is the best barber Ive ever been to, hands down. Ive recently transitioned from a life in the US Army, and now have, for the first time in a while...hair past a shaved head. Alex has masterfully given me a great haircut (my wife said wow the first time he cut my hair). On top of that, hes taught me how to care for my hair...since thats not a thing I ever learned (who knew you werent supposed to wash your hair every day!). Highly recommended. By far the best barbershop in NYC and I’ve been to a total of 12. 9 in Manhattan and 3 in Queens. Friendly atmosphere, 6 chairs so you’re never waiting too long and most importantly knowledgeable and talented barbers at each chair. Come here and you won’t regret it!

I went to Ace of Cuts for my first time today and would highly recommend. The quality haircut they give is worth much more than the $20 they charge. My barber was Alan and he was extremely thorough and meticulous. He asked me good questions at the start to really understand how I wear my hair and the result was fantastic.

An awesome barbershop for getting a mean haircut! I got my hair cut by Sam and he did a fantastic job (a very nice high fade) and is a great person as well. He made sure that I was ok with the haircut he gave me and would recut my hair if I didnt like it. I will definitely be coming back!! The only downside is they increased their prices for a standard cut from 20 to 25, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

These guys have been my barbers for 4 years. I travel there from Brooklyn because nobody else gets it JUST RIGHT like they do. Plus, I always come and go with a smile because they are super friendly. Fast, cheap, hilarious.

Alex and his crew are fantastic barbers who take their time to give you the cut youre looking for. The shops a family-run business by hardworking, pro-level barbers. One of the few places in NY worth waiting in line for.

The culture here is wild! Customers know the barbers on a first name basis and theres always a seat for everyone. The music is great, they serve drinks (i.e water) and it makes you feel like home. Its in a great location at east village. Alex is the best barber there (also the owner).

Best barber shop youll ever have. I travel literally an hour everytime to get to this shop because they offer all the best qualities in one place. Forget the fancy salons and the local shops that need apts. There are no long wait times! The staff here are amazing and comprehensive with every little detail. They cut for both males and females. This is my favorite barber shop in the city. I pay $25 (with tip) and just tell them I want a Wall Street hair cut. They take their time and it feels and looks great.

Been going here for years, pretty much since I moved to east village. This is easily the best barber shop in the neighborhood. The first time I went here I got a good haircut for a very reasonable price. The second time the barber (who possibly did not have a great grasp of English) did a horrible job.He stood in front of me and began cutting my hair quickly saying, very short? I did not want it very short. It was too late at this point. My hair was then very short.

Very disappointing.Went there a few times and price fluctuates for the same haircut. I could deal with price issue, but they messed up my beard on my last visit. Cant understand how a barber can move the beard line low without consulting the customer. I didnt even know what happened till he straighten the chair.I also just looked over all their reviews, the 5 star reviews dont look genuine.

I came in to get my fade cleaned up. Boris took care of me, hes there on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. He did a really good job and made the cuts exactly how i wanted them. I waited 5 minutes as a walk in.

I always go here to get my hair cut. The barbers are all very experienced. The place is clean and they take their job seriously. At the time the cuts are only $18 (~$22 with tip) ! Their fades are done very well and will do lines and designs.

Called in an hour before closing to ask specifically if I could come in and was told I could. Paid for a Lyft and hurried there immediately since they were closing soon. Got there in 30 minutes only to be told “sorry, come back tomorrow”. If you were going to tell me to come back the next day, don’t make me go out of my way to taxi over when I could’ve just taken the subway home.
