This upscale Barber shop is one of the best I’ve been to. Had a wonderful experience. Firstly the shop is super clean, everyone is wearing a mask and it feels very safe. The barber gave me a lovely sharp cut and was very detailed about his work, the staff are super friendly and professional, the space is bright and very pleasant to be in. The appointment was super easy to book online. It’s just an overall great experience. I’m thrilled with my cut. Feel like a new man.

This Barbershop is high level. They treated me like a regular customer even if this was my first visit. Im overall impressed with the service. The was hands down one of the best Ive ever got. He was detailed and very friendly. He took care of me like I was family. The price is decent and you get great quality. Definitely coming back.

Jeff is the best barber that I’ve ever had. He is professional and funny at the same time. Always a great haircut and great conversation. My curly hair is very hard to cut, and for my first haircut Jeff spent over 45 minutes analyzing my hair to make sure he cut it just right. He talked through what he was doing and did an amazing job. I always look forward to getting my hair cut here and it is well worth the price. Make sure you ask for Jeff he is truly the best.

Within minutes I knew Isaac was my new best barber. He is an experienced pro with attention to detail and up to the minute knowledge of style. Not everyone can do a zero into fade and longer on top (many try) and make my messy beard look amazing. Isaac did exactly what I wanted and better. The location is also excellent in a very cool designed space in hip Tribeca.This is definitely my mew regular.

This is a review for a haircut I got about 3 weeks ago. At Gentlemans Barber Spa you are cared for from the minute you step in to the minute you step out. You are treated extremely well and they wont let you leave until you look your best. It is not a $5 haircut and thats exactly the point. You pay the price you pay because the services provided are just that good. It is a very clean and professional environment with good jokes and attention to detail. I came from NJ and returned home looking better than I have in a year. It is a very clean and COVID-19 safe environment as well.

Came in for a simple head shave and beard trim. Barber suggested a face massage… at the end of it all I was $225 poorer. I paid the tourist price for following the barber’s advice.They are very nice and professional, but their subtle predatory behavior leaves much to be desired. Shame.

True to its name, if you want to look good for an interview or a date go the Gentleman’s Barber Spa. If you want to impress, book an app with Daniel P. He has been my barber for the last 2 years, he always takes care of me and he will take care of you. First time Daniel cut/trimmed my hair and beard, I crushed my interview and got my dream job; the last time he fixed me up I got a huge promotion. Each time my man @daniel_visionk18 nails it and I end up looking amazing. Worth the trip each and every time!

I feel bad leaving this but Im really not happy with my haircut and beard trim. Its cost $130 after tip and tax and Im so unhappy, not worth the price tag, even if it was $30.I chose this place for my wedding haircut since Im getting married and taking pictures. After the cut my hair looked nothing like what I kept showing Jeff in the picture, Im devastated, but he kept telling me it would be fine after styling. Also after my beard trim (an electric trimmer) it looked like a weed wacker had done the job and left a dozen or more stray hairs. I had to ask him to go again because it wasnt clean and still the next morning I had to clean it up and remove the longer hairs. If Im spending $130 I should not be asking a barber to check their work.Really upsetting this is what I get when it was for my wedding. Ill need to get creative to fix it but thankfully I have 7 days.

Haircut only took 10 minutes, which was good because I was very uncomfortable with the level of covid hygiene. My understanding is that everyone inside needs to be wearing a mask, food and drink shouldn’t be consumed together indoors, and customers should wait outside. I hope these can be corrected by the next time I need a haircut or I will go somewhere else.Edit: upon further inspection haircut was also not great... maybe it was rushed tho due to circumstances.

Tina cut my hair and did a great job. In addition to the haircut, they provided top-quality hairproducts that smells amazing, and at the end you even get a shoulder massage. Will definitely go back for my next haircut now that I work nearby.

First time I came in, I got easily the best haircut I’d ever gotten. Each one since has been just as good as the first. Can’t recommend enough.

Went in for a simple beard trim. The spa treatment was very nice, but the cut itself turned out completely horrible. Not only was the style so poorly done that I had to cancel what was being done and opt for a goatee, but my shave a week later has resulted in horrible folliculitis all over my cheeks and neck everywhere Tosho cut. This is just unprofessional and amateur. I don’t think this place is good for curly haired men.

Stumbled across this TriBeca gem a few weeks ago and I’ve been back twice. Probably the best hot shave I’ve had. The staff is exceptional and they do fantastic work.
