My overall experience with Mercedes Benz of Manhattan was great. My sales rep. Dave was straight forward and very knowledgeable of the vehicles. There were a few hiccups along the way but Dave was able to straighten them out. The staff was very friendly and professional. I would recommend anyone who wants to buy a Mercedes Benz to go to Manhattan for the best quality service in town.

This is a time where everything is short, from cars to computers. Supply is low and demand is high. Cue the vultures. I was more than pleased to find out, that wasn’t the case here at Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan. David Saitzyk was a down to earth and solid professional. He listened to what I needed and went to no ends to make sure I left with it. I told him my budget and preferences and he wouldn’t stop till I found what I needed and wanted. Best part about it, he didn’t try to oversell me a thing. He was knowledgeable and accommodating, simply guided me to where I needed to be. This should be the experience of all car purchases. I recently purchased a CPO 2018 S560. The sales person was extremely helpful in arranging a test drive and facilitating the transaction. We agreed upon a monthly payment. However upon finalizing the deal with the finace manager the payments increased. I feel this was a shady practice used by run of the noticed mill used car dealers. The finance manager was not patient with explaining some of the fine print within the contract. I was also in the dealership all day from opening to an hour before closing. Way too long of a day. I took delivery of the vehicle and immediately noticed some issues with the vehicle that need to be repaired. I was not able to determine these problems on the test drive. I feel this car was not given the proper once over before being offered as a CPO vehicle. Subsequently I have to wait for an appointment to have these issues rectified. The appointment is 3 weeks away and that will put me out of range to utilize the CPO exchange option. This is very frustrating. Ive tried unsuccessfully to reach a manager. Again it seems like a very shady practice. I hoping for a resolution. This is unacceptable behavior from a company such a Mercedes Benz.

Robert is such a personable individual, he went above and beyond to make my wish come through. The professionalism he displayed is incomparable. He was so helpful with the process, he assisted with every specific detail, he make sure the deal went smoothly and he took care of all the required/necessary paperwork for me. I feel for the supposedly high standards of the name and product of Mercedes Benz, this dealership is from that! I have requested to speak to the people/or person incharge of the dealership; i think its easier to sit with the Pope or president of USA. I have taken my car twice there with issues both times. The people there act as if we are bothering them. I have requested for management to call me several times, but noone calls back. Moving forward i will not go there again and will tell everyone not to go.

From the moment we walked in the door we were impressed by the responsiveness of the staff. Within minutes we were assigned a sales representative Elaine Velez. We needed to quickly choose a new car and chose a model,color and interior that was immediately available . Elaine was super efficient guiding us from start to finish through the paperwork, credit check, insurance . We picked up our new vehicle two days later . Before driving it out Elaine spent much time with us showing us all the new features. A week later we are still contacting Elaine with questions and she answers Iimmediately. The COVID-19 Pandemic changed a lot of things about car buying/lease for the worse.At M-B of Manhattan, I was duly prepared by my Sales Advisor (Stephen Ackerman) a year before the time of leasing my new 2021 GLE 450 [w/ almost everything I ordered]. He let me know lead times would be longer and prices would be higher. He called me as early as he could (March 2021) to let me know when the right time to order would be due to parts shortages and whatnot. He was patient with my incessant texting and calling for information. He helped me make option choices based on what was important to me — not based on what I thought was cool or useful as a car-buying NOOB.Stephen started the paperwork process a day early so the only thing I had to do was sign some papers and drive away. He did everything he could to soften the blow of a MUCH higher monthly lease payment at a tough time in the auto industry.All in all, I’ve been happy with my experience with Stephen and the M-B of Manhattan crew for the last 3 years now. I have and will continue to recommend my friends and family.

Our last few vehicles were all from this particular dealership and I must say its because of how amazing this place is! The customer service here is outstanding!! They have huge workshop here and there is never an issue getting a loaner car.I live in the city and sometimes dont need a loaner car, so once my car is done getting repaired they will drop it off to any location I tell them to. They customer service is absolutely amazing here and one of the main reason why I keep coming back here to get new cars.Marco is pretty awesome and he has been our service manager last couple of times. I came here to have them look at my passenger rear tire for not holding air. The tire itself only had a few thousand miles on it, so I figured it was some form of puncture. A few hours later, they call me and told me it was a nail and that the tire would need replacement. Totally fine - I pay and take the car home. A few days later, I notice the new tire is low again. I take it back in and they tell me that the tire has a nail in it. It turns out they replaced the driver rear tire instead of the passenger rear tire. First, they blame me for misremembering, even though the invoice clearly states customer states passenger rear tire does not hold air. When I point that out on the invoice, they change their story to both tires had nails in them so they both need to be replaced, despite there being zero evidence of leaking from the driver rear tire. I requested to meet with the service department manager, who in turn stood by the mechanics decision to replace the tire that was fine and not touch the one I had requested to have repaired. So many opportunities to make this right, and they failed miserably.

RUN! Unprofessional & Rude Con Artist.It felt like I was talking to criminals with an odd sense of entitlement, trying to set me up or something. They had no interest in helping just my money.Hung up on me after I told him to relax for yelling at me, because I was fed up by there attitudes by the fourth phone call.Called Four different times; Asked about parts for my car (4 different parts).Each time I was transferred to the men in service (not the front desk person who schedules you for a service; The parts people who I believe are also the sales men).I was spoken to with an aggressive and nasty “get to the point” type of attitude, that brought up a sense of immediate distrust. I’m pretty quick with responses and am always polite; So to me the entire approach of each man was very uncalled for.Here I am asking the most simple questions and getting snarky answers like “yea, probably” and “It’s not in front of me it’s downstairs, I’m not getting it” and my favorite “bring $1000 that’ll do it” for a fix I was quoted “$500” at a different Mercedes dealership for.These guys will cut your throat and take all your money given the chance. I’d avoid this business.

So here’s the full story - my wife and I were in Miami for a couple days, we knew we wanted a new Mercedes and we knew Manhattan Mercedes would get us the best deal. BY FAR, the best experience I have had purchasing a car. I went in after scheduling an appointment to check out a 2021 AMG C43. I test drove the car and I fell in love with it right away. I decided to purchase the car and Mike made the process super simple. I was out with the car within 2-3 hours after arriving to dealership the SAME DAY! Last week I bought my vehicle in for service at the Mercedes Benz on 11 ave in Manhattan, at first I was hesitant going to a dealership not knowing what was going to happen. I received a phone call from a gentleman name Tarzan Guinness, he explained every detail u needed to know about my vehicle every question I had he took his time to explain and let me know that everything was going to get fixed and done in a timely manner, I do not feel any type of pressure when it came down to getting my vehicle fixed. When I needed some help with my extended warranty Mr. Guinness went above and beyond to get me the services I needed. Mr. Guinness was professional, knowledge and genuine when it came down to get at me the help I need it for my car. Had a blown tire in the Bronx, called MBUSA for roadside assistance on a Sunday, they were able to locate a tow company to store the car overnight and deliver to the Manhattan service center on Monday when the shop is open. Diane from the service department provided updates and follow ups throughout the day, and was able to expedite my tire replacement and get my car back that day. They gave the car a clean and vacuum. Great service, definitely recommend buying cars and get your cars serviced at Manhattan Benz on 11th Avenue

Mercedes Benz Manhattan is a fabulous location. I was initially disappointed when I did not have Patrick Pires as my Service Advisor. I learned that he has been promoted. Im not surprised because he was outstanding in addressing the needs of the client. However, I was not disappointed. Diane Dingler, Service Advisor took care of me from beginning to end. She made sure all of my needs regarding my vehicle were addressed and arranged for a Lyft to take me to my appointment. Taran Guinness should have been a Pediatrician. He diagnoses and treats your Mercedes-Benz--your baby--like its his own ailing child. When an ordinary mechanic threw his hands up and told me I needed a new engine, Taran took charge, got his team at Mercedes of Manhattan to re-charge my existing (perfectly good) engine with new components, and didnt charge me anywhere near what the (lazy) ripoff artist wanted. Mercedes-Benz Manhattan was amazing. I did most of the leg work remotely over phone which included text and phone calls. The response time was impeccable. It reduced soooo much time compared to my previous experience of being in a dealership for hours. I went in, and I was out in under an hour. Top notch quality and professionalism. I couldnt have had a better experience. Highly recommend this location. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!!

Do not go here for repairs. I took my car here because I had an issue with the airbag light staying on. They fixed it and a few days later the light came back on so I took my car back to them. They tried to tell me that this time its a different issue causing the light to come on and wanted to charge me again. They initially said this issue happened because I had driven my car over 10,000 miles since I picked it up from them less than a month ago which I knew wasnt true. I told them that it wasnt possible for me to have driven that much because I went out of town for two weeks after picking up my car and had it parked in a lot. The only key to it was with me. Then their excuse changed to something else. They then said the first repair was for the drivers side airbag sensor, but this new issue is being caused by the passenger side one. So I showed them the receipt from the first repair I had done which clearly stated that both driver side and passenger side airbags sensors were replaced. Their excuse changed again. Now their excuse was its a wiring problem and they needed to take off the front bumper to investigate. WTH! I dont have time or money to spend while they go thru the process of elimination. I told them just to give me my car back and I would take it somewhere else. Once I did get my car back the first thing I did was check the odometer and see what the mileage was. And this goes to show how untrained and unprofessional this place is. The mechanic that looked at my car put down the trip miles and not the actual miles on my car. Trip miles are significantly less than actual miles but this particular mechanic decide to ignore the decimal point in the trip mileage number which made it seem like alot more. I included pictures of my receipts from both visits which shows the difference in mileage and also the dates I brought my car to them. I included a picture of my odometer as well which I took once I got my car back from them. A total sham. I expected a higher level of professionalism from Mercedes which is why I chose to go there for repair work instead of a regular mechanic. But after this experience I wont even go to this dealership to use the restroom. Peace and Love everyone and stay safeUpdate:This dealership replied to my review and said they would be following up with me in regards to this issue. Two weeks later and I still havent heard from them. So unprofessional. Smdh.

I can’t say enough good things about MB Manhattan. There sales, service, selection of cars are all terrific. But the most important factor I find is the personal touch so to speak. By that I mean Elaine Velez their sales associate.
