They did a good job. They missed a few things that I had to go over (kitchen counter tops and backsplash, vacuuming carpet in closet, corners were full of dust bunnies) but for the most part they did a good job. they certainly cut my cleaning time by a lot. Would I use them again or recommend? Yes, but I’d give more direction and do a better inspection when they are finished (and not tip until I’d inspected). Hey, they are willing to work and let’s face it-cleaning other people’s homes can’t always be pleasant. The girls were very nice and friendly!!

The two young women who came as a team to clean our house were absolutely SO mature and professional. Our house was in immaculate condition when they were finished. I resoundingly recommend The Cleaning Guy for any and all residential and commercial cleaning projects!!

Very pleased with my deep clean. I didn’t realize the amount of dust that has accumulated and it is gone now! Floors have never been cleaner. Great friendly customer service and expert advice on what to do and not to do between the cleanings.

I was able to get an appointment right away with The Cleaning Guy. The ladies who came did a phenomenal job. I am immunocompromised and the lovely ladies had masks on and observed COVID protocol. For that I am grateful. My house is sparkling from top to bottom. I ordered this service for my son who was moving out of his apartment. It was VERY last minute ( called at 11:30 AM for same day...) since he needed to vacate that day and was finishing his packing. I was given info re: costs and approx time to complete the cleaning. I live 4 hours from where this service took place so I was not able to observe the staff or completion. My son seemed happy with what was done within about 2.5 hours with 3 people. He will provide his own review. I can only speak to the professionalism of my initial phone call.

I found the crew from the Cleaning Guy timely, thorough, and clear as to what I wanted to have done. I’ve tried several companies and individuals but prefer them because they take my payment electronically so I don’t have to worry about having cash on hand. They even did a few things that I thought set them apart from the others, such as folding my hand towels neatly. They are now the only ones I work with, and have little turnover, so I trust who comes into my home.

Called the cleaning guy in the evening about doing a move in/move out cleaning. He had a crew here the next morning.The price is fair compared to other companies I have used and/or worked for in the past.There were a few issues along the way but they were kind of expected considering the state of things and the conditions of this job.Talking with Jeff during the process helped to take care of the problems. Jeff really cares about his customers and making sure they are fully satisfied with the services he provides.

Ashley the receptionist is so sweet when you call. She got us scheduled right away for a carpet cleaning. The two specialists who came out were kind, quick, and efficient! Our carpet looks great! Definitely give them a call if you’re looking for any type of residential or business cleaning.

I’m taking a moment to give any customer a heads up to please read their contract before moving forward. The service provided was good but be aware of the billing. If for any reason you will not be there and don’t cancel you WILL BE BILLED. I felt that Jeff was going to work with me for future services but that didn’t end up being the case.Again I’m happy with the service provided but please be aware what your contract says regarding billing as it is in the companies favor.

This cleaning company is highly unprofessional to say the least!!Initially I gave them the benefit of doubt for not showing up on time. I requested for the same cleaning person every time cause they would remember what I like what I don’t plus I made it clear that I only have particularly days off and I want early morning service at 8 am. Yes they NEVER showed up on time and I saw a new face every single time. I have given them reminder calls myself week before my scheduled appointments to confirm my timings with them but it’s so frustrating for me as a customer that they don’t even give you a courtesy call to tell you if they are running late. I had one of their cleaning lady tell me oh I didn’t even know you were on the schedule for today when they showed up 3 hours late once. Cleaning service is so average for the amount of money they charge you.I decided to write this review cause honestly they crossed the limit today. My place was scheduled for cleaning at 8 AM today and when I called them last week to confirm my day/ time, I mentioned clearly that I need to leave the house by noon for my flight.It’s 1 PM right now and forget about cleaning ladies, NO ONE from the company had the decency to call me back. I’ve called them 5 times since morning, complained to their customer representatives who I feel are doing their best to try to reach their owners/ managers who seem to be nonexistent!This has been a pretty awful experience for me cause as a customer the least you expect is respect and acknowledgement of your concerns. Total waste of time and money for me.

I contacted Jeff Miller at The Cleaning Guy about giving a discount for cleaning my friends house when her 14 year old son was diagnosed with leukemia. Jeff was very friendly and polite. He stated that he would not discount the services, but he would have one of his crews at her house the following day to clean and sanitize it for FREE. He worked around our time schedule and sent a crew of 3 people the very next day. Her house was immaculate. The Cleaning Guy helped ease her mind about bringing her son home after his first chemo treatment. They are an amazing company, I cannot say enough to show my appreciation.

Never hiring a cleaning company before, I didnt want to tackle the task of a basement clean-up after I had it painted. Lots of paint residue on everything and after pulling everything out of the basement for the painting to be done, it was FILTHY.I called and got a quick response from Amanda, timely follow up and they scheduled me for the next day. The two ladies that came were on-time, professional, very nice and I left them with direction and came back to work.Not knowing what to expect when I came home, I was greeted with a sparkling clean basement. Jeff (who Im assuming is the manager) is completely unprofessional. Wasting my time on a normal day? Annoying. Wasting my time on a Saturday morning? Peeved. Not being apologetic to the customer for 30 minute tardiness and time wasted? Now its personal. Even if there was a hiccup in scheduling, communicate that to the customer. I, as the customer, should not have had to call the company for a status on my service.I will say the cleaning techs were very polite and did an excellent job on cleaning my residential space. But even with that considered, I will not be giving this company my business again.

I reached out to about 8 -10 different carpet cleaning places in Springfield IL. They are the only ones who contacted me back to clean my carpets! There was a hiccup in the scheduled arrival so we had to reschedule and Jeff did a fantastic job when he came in. Tiffany was very helpful and friendly on the phone and they even called after to check to make sure everything was ok! A real class company. I use this cleaning service for my house on a bi-weekly basis. The people who come to clean are nice, professional, they do a good job, and are not skittish about my large dog. The only issues I have had have been with the head of the organization. Hes a nice man. Upon our initial request he came to our house endgame us a quote for our upstairs and two large rooms and a bathroom downstairs. When we decided to go with this group, we decided only to have our downstairs cleaned every other visit, but it wasnt reflected on our bill when our downstairs was not being cleaned. After many phone calls, emails, and inquiries through the website (over the course of 9 months or so) we got an answer saying instead of lowering our bill every other visit, they would average the two costs to make it easier for online billing. My husband and I agreed that was fine...and that was in March 2018, but nothing has changed.

My first experience with the Cleaning Guy was not pleasant. I was furious and disappointed on how an employee treated me and my wife during an appointment to have my carpet cleaned. I contacted the company and spoke with a General Manager about my experience. Robert was very kind and generous enough to listen to my story and did his absolute best to make things right with me and my wife. I want to give a true review on how things were for me. I am giving a 5 star rating on the performance of the company on the 2nd attempt and not the 1st only because I believe in second chances and the staff was very impressive and diligent in the work they did. I will most likely use this company again in the future. They do have competitive prices and for the most part their crew was very nice.

I engaged The Cleaning Guy in Springfield IL for a move-out cleaning on a Saturday morning. The cleaning ladies arrived 1 hour and 20 minutes late, and when I called to ask Amanda, the person who had scheduled the cleaning, why they hadnt arrived, her reply was, Well, it IS a Saturday morning.My landlord arrived at his scheduled time to do the inspection (it was scheduled for when the cleaning was supposed to be done) and the cleaning ladies did not even show up until he was already there. When I called later to ask that I be compensated for all the wasted time, Amanda said she would talk to her boss and get back to me. A week later, no call. I called to talk to her boss directly and was told I would receive a call back. That was three days ago, still no call.I give two stars because the cleaning was decent, and the cleaning ladies were pleasant. The customer service gets a 0.

This is one of the worst experiences ive had for window cleaning. called for a bid, which was done fairly quickly but then never got the bid and had to text and call. once i got bid, i agreed to price and tried to get service done which to this day has never been completed or even contacted to set up the job, ive reached out via text several times but the reply was always the weather has us backed up that was now 10 weeks ago. wouldnt waste your time using this company
