I was sitting at another nail salon on State St (had called prior for an appointment at 5:00). I got there at 4:50pm and signed in. The lady told me to take a seat and I would be next. Other people come in and she tells me she is going to take them ahead of me. I made an appointment because I didn’t have time to wait, I had some place to be by 6:30. At 5:20 I called Bella to see if they had someone that could work me in. They told me they could take me. I went to Bella and got right in, no wait. I decided to change it up and do something different than the usual French manicure. I wasn’t sure how it would turn out but I absolutely love the way my nails look. Even almost 2 weeks later, they still look beautiful! I have found my new nail salon! I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Jell nails look good, however the lady who did my pedi put coat after coat(at least 4 color coats plus base and top) on the big toes so naturally they are a mess, even after sitting for 20 min to dry. I wont go back!

I waited for over an hour with little to no update on my wait time. To be fair, I was a walk in. However, I felt ignored for my entire wait. I was finally told after about 45 minutes that the person doing my nails just finished up with his client and I was next, only to sit for about 20 more minutes with no sign of him at the station I was sat at. I eventually ended up just leaving instead of waiting any longer. I have been here before and waited what I felt was a reasonable amount of time and received amazing work from this salon. I probably just caught them on a busier day but the lack of communication is what really bothered me this time. I probably won’t be back.

I had an appointment, but had to wait about 30 minutes before they got started on me. I think one of the reasons they were late with my appointment was that there was a client arguing with the manager (client was rude and taking up lots of time). My nails (mani/pedi) look great! I think they do a great job and they are very nice.

Did what they wanted to do. Rude. I asked to have my darker color removed, they didnt. Was not able to get the color I wanted and the alternative is horrible.

Bella is the best nail salon I have been to. The owners are friendly and believe in customer service and the staff is the same. Tried another place today because was closer to work, mistake. But thank goodness didnt even sit down. (See other review today). If you want to go to a clean place with nice and relaxing atmosphere, then Bella Nails and Spa is a great place to try.

I found my new nail place. My daughter and I were looking for a new place to get our nails done and we came across Bella nails. We loved it!! We will be back for sure.

I just got out of getting a pedicure. Ive been coming here for years and I love this place! Today, however, was special. I have no idea what her name is (slender, long hair, a bit older with glasses), but she did a fantastic job. Unbeknownst to her, she gave me a true gift today. I was very sad today, crying on and off all day for many reasons, and decided to get a pedicure to maybe help me feel better. I know weve all been there. Her gentle touch, extended foot rub and overall kindness washed away the heaviness on my soul and I am so incredibly grateful for it. I was too chicken to tell her that personally and hope this. Thank you! makes it to her.

My nails look great!! Almost identical to the picture that I showed Kevin. He did a wonderful job. Not from this area but if Im ever in town again this is definitely the place that I will go.

I just got my nails done here, and I was there for about an hour and a half maybe longer and by the time I was done my nails are not even dry and they charged 5$ for my shape.

Efficient yet caring! Love their work-- will continue to go to Bella Nails. I once brought in a party of 5 relatives and they worked us in without a blink.

I went to this salon while the Louisville salons were still closed due to quarantine-I paid a good amount for very unsatisfying service ombré dip which I have had done before was sprinkled on, not dipped and it did not resemble a professional ombré. After being a regular dip customer at other salons I thought it would at least last two weeks and I had a nail pop off after eight days! Not happy after $65.

Consistently excellent service. I’ve learned to call ahead and make an appointment with the nail tech that knows my needs best. I’m crazy ticklish but still love the foot and leg massage. Rosie is outstanding. I absolutely love Bella Nails in New Albany. I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Don’t recommend this place at all! I walked in and asked for a manicure, but I didn’t want them filed or shaped and she starts filing and I said I don’t want them filed. The lady behind me who worked their said “you want manicure” and they were just rude to me I said yes just let paint no filing or shaping.. so I ended up walking out simply because they were really rude to me. Not to mention it smelled horrible in there I know it’s a nail salon and all but it didn’t smell like nail salon products it smelled of strong chemicals. State has been called on this place a lot of times I have heard because they pour chemicals down the drains and made that whole strip there sick with whatever the poured down the drains. They let their high school age children work there without a license so there is no telling if all the people that work their are licensed or not. If you’re thinking about getting your nails done here I would think twice about it. Go to some where literally any where else but this place.

I went here for my first time 2 weeks ago, I’m very picky on who does my nails & how they do them. I can honestly say that I have never been so happy & satisfied with this shop. The service was excellent, the quality of the gel/shellac polish & the price was very reasonable, especially for a manicure, pedicure, & gel polish. & With me being so picky about my nails they done everything right. I will definitely be going back & it will be the only nail shop I’ll go too from now on.

I asked for black gel polish. my nails are navy blue. I didnt realize until I got to my car. you can see thru the polish on some of the nails. and the tips of my left hand some spots are very thick. I went back in after getting a few other peoples opinions and asked to speak to a manager. they look at us funny and we had to ask again. one worker asked me what was the matter. I told her my nails are navy blue and not black and that you could see thru them and that the tips were thick. she said no they are black. and they look fine. then started to make fun of me to her customer she was working on. I said well if you arent doing to do anything about it I am leaving and leaving a bad review. she didnt care. I will have a pic to show the work they do. I dont reccomend going there. they are very unprofessional. if they would have fixed my issues I wouldnt have left this review. this isnt how you run a business.

Just the cheapest best place to go and get your nails done in New Albany right after youve also went to New Albany Plaza to the Kroger to Ben Franklins El Nopal for lunch maybe Hallmark the dentist H&R Block or buy new mattress this nail salon is located on the absolute safest expressway Ive even driven on. Bella nails has truly kind nail technicians that are crafted in design.

Best place in town. Always very sweet and leave a lasting impression. I wont go anywhere else for my toes now. Theyre awesome! 😆

Favorite salon!

My friend and I had walk in manicures and pedicures here on Thursday. It’s now Tuesday and my nails are completely chipped. She got acrylics and a couple of hers have popped off. Not a good experience at all. My first thought when I walked in was “ I smell feet”. Even though they weren’t busy they wouldn’t wait to put me in a chair until she arrived. We spent the entire manicure and pedicure across the building from each other. The lady who did my nails was very rough. I actually had a small bruise on my wrist. I’m not sure what happened but the polished refused to dry. She had a fan on my nails while doing them and later I sat under the air ( and burned my hand) for about 20 min. Literally minutes after walking out I had some nicks from getting my keys. I actually stopped at target on my way home to get the same color and touch up. I ended up fixing about 3 nails. My friend said that her acrylics weren’t great either. The man had to keep fixing the glue while she sat for her pedicure.Will not be going back.

This is my absolute favorite nail salon ever. Ive always been treated so well not to mention they do an amazing job...every single time. If you live anywhere near New Albany, do yourself a favor and make an appointment here! Walk-ins get worked in super fast as well!

It used to be so good then i went back and it was terrible! my acrylics were rushed and not in the shape i asked for AT ALL even when i kept asking to fix them and they are way too thick. i paid $70 for a pedicure that is all over the skin on my toes and acrylics with no manicure. overpriced and not good.

Nails were not shaped correctly/evenly and polish was horrible. I could have done this poorly and saved my money. So disappointed, will not be returning.

I won’t come back to this salon ever again. I’ve had more bad experiences than good. I kept coming back because my coworker raved about them. I got a pedi there one time that was rushed. The polish was goopy and bumpy on my nails, polish all over the cuticles and my skin around my nails. The clear coat was only covering half of my big toenail and there was a black speck imbedded in the polish. My toenails were also not filed down so they appeared jagged at the tips of some. I came back the next day to have them repaint which they did for free. I also had dip there one time and it was extremely thick and the edges were uneven. They put a gel coat on the top which apparently they shouldn’t do because it was pealing off the next day. I have had a couple of really good manis there so that’s why I gave 2 stars.

Had to wait a while.They did my nails and toes the same color which I didnt want.When the worker put my nails in the machine to dry he/she did it 3 times.The worker rushed my nails and complained I was moving too much. They did not have the proper items to separate my toes therefore using a paper towel.While the worker was doing me he/she was very ruff and hurt my skin. Very disappointed in them.Not professional. :(

Had a good experience but very pricey. Not a place to take your kids. They charge $25 for a mani/pedi for a 5 year old. All they did was paint her fingernails. When I asked why it was so much they said it was because they ran the pedicure bowl for my daughter to put her feet in. I got a pedicure and gel manicure and with my daughter it was $90 before tip!

My friend and I had decided to come here to get our fill-ins yesterday and I must say I was very displeased. My nails were all misshapen when I left and after being told twice that my nails were dry I managed to mess up all but one on the walk to the car. Should have gotten my money back because my friend and I ended up fixing our own nails. I have always heard such good things now I probably will never go back

Very pleased with my pedi. Nothing special with the basic pedi like hot stones or hot towels like some other salons in the area but the polish was perfect and didnt chip at all.

If I give this a zero I would ! Went there yesterday and got Kathy, very nice lady but my nails are not even ! I couldn’t get this i short as I would like ! She was to busy worrying about what her husband was doing ! The back they have as soon as yu work in, say mani with gel 30 dollars, she charged me 45 ! So she got a extra 15 bucks outta me ! DONT GO HERE ! HORRIBLE PLACE !!!!!!!!!!

I brought my wife to this salon, at first I wasnt too sure about it as it is located in a strip mall in front of big lots. But my wife convinced me to go. It was my first manly pedi and man, I will now get manly pedis from now on. The people was extremely nice and I felt like a new man afterwards. My wife got a manicure and its great quality. Totally reccomend this place to all the menly men who are unsure about going to a salon and their wives too.

I got gel nails on a Thursday and they literally started chipping by Sunday. The owner rushed my service and my nails didnt bake well and therefore the chipping. I will NEVER go here again!!!!!!!

Upon pulling up at 7:30 employee made a dash to turn open sign off. When we opened door to verify they was closed( 30 minutes early) ..got a very rude yes we closed. Very friendly customer service.
