Angel did my hair today and I love it. She was professional and kind. They were following all the safety procedures for covid 19. I highly recommend them.

Ive been going here for years now for color and cut and would highly recommend this salon! Im not big on posting reviews but Angel highlighted and cut my 16 year old daughters hair yesterday and it looks so amazing I had to finally leave a review! Anyone with a teenage daughter knows how hard they are to please! Angel took the time and talked with my daughter about the color she was wanting and how she could achieve that. Angel nailed the color and I have one happy teenager! I love this salon and wont go anywhere else!!

Went here because my normal nail salon was booked. From googling this was one of the few salon that had more natural gel nail polish (5-free, etc). The gel manicure lasted two days tops, and has peeled and ripped my top layer of nail off, leaving them totally damaged. Now I’m $50+ out and having to go back to my normal salon to get a damage treatment. The manicurist was very nice and I’m sure it would be fine with traditional gel but if you’re looking for a more natural product, I’d go elsewhere.

Renee was very professional and listened to my requests for my highlights. She did everything just how I wanted- I was VERY pleased! She was quick and did a high quality job. I would definitely go back to have her do my highlights and cut again!

I had a great experience at Vanity Salon! The staff, the service and the salon were very professional. They had everything I needed and were extremely helpful. Vanity is my Salon of choice. They made me feel beautiful when I left and I have never had more compliments!

I went in for a massage to help relieve terrible discomfort in my back. Jamie did a fabulous job and even though my muscles are all tensed up and it will take more than one visit to have complete relief, I slept well finally for the first night in almost two weeks.Dont wait too long like I did, at the first sign of muscle soreness go see Jamie. The price is very reasonable, and if you are a regular there for other services there is even an additional discount.I have my hair colored and cut there on a regular basis, and have for years. When I came to Tennessee another stylist in Michigan had done had very bad job coloring my hair. I had tried someone else in Nashville to try to repair the color bands that were VERY evident but it was not getting better and my hair was getting worse. A friend told me to try Angel and finally I did. Thank God!! She not only fixed my color but improved the overall condition of my hair. I love my hair, and so does my husband. I get compliments all the time from my friends.I have always been treated with the greatest respect.

I went in to get my nails done professionally for the first time ever. I had a manicure then tips put on and gel nail polish. $70. The girl was super nice so I gave her a $20 tip. The next day one of the tips popped off. The day after the acrylic polish and all started popping off. By day three they were all off. I am awaiting a phone call from the manager. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I live very near the place, Im not a tourist thats never coming back. Im highly upset that I now know I could have gotten a full set of full nails and polish for 25 anywhere else. I still had most of my cuticles. The list goes on. I got them done on Nov 23rd. I tried going back that Sunday but they were closed. I finally got a day off on the 27th, when I went in a lady working said she would contact the manager and have her reach out to me. Still waiting on this phone call and wondering how from the 23rd to the 27th is 10 days even to today the 1st isnt 10 days. Dont waste your money or time here. Its not the place to get your nails done. And they are nonsensical.

I went for a massage and it was fantastic! Jess really focuses on healing the body. She’s the best massage therapist I’ve met in the Nashville area, and knows how to apply the right pressure to work out the kinks.

I got eyelash extensions on Friday morning and by Saturday my left eye was very irritated. My doctor looked at it and removed glue that was gluing part of my eyelid to itself. A lot of my own lashes came out in that spot in order to free my skin. I attempted to call Vanity Salon several times but I just received VM. I wanted to get the lashes removed, as well as remove any lingering glue. I have had to gently massage coconut oil into my lashes in order to remove as much glue and lash as I can over the weekend. My doctor gave me antibiotic drops and cream for my eye. This has been a tremendous waste of time and money as well as the major discomfort. The pillow that I lay on when we did my lashes was very dirty... no towel or anything. The place was shabby and I regret not just leaving.

I can tell you.... I’m literally sittin in the car RIGHT NOW im front of the building Just got done with my pedicure and it’s HORRIBLE, I wish I can show y’all the video. I came maybe 2 months ago, the employee (who no longer works there) was hands down better than the person today. Today, Angel cut my nail to short (crooked I might add.... And STILL CHIPPED), didn’t clean under half of my nails (some didn’t even touch nor trim, no exaggeration). Kept going back and forth from each foot (like she was inexperienced). Just HORRIBLE. You know how you get your feet and they feel Refreshed...?!? After awhile I was just over it and just wanted her to be done. I feel like my 40 was completely wasted!How can I post pics with my post?!?

All of the staff at Vanity Salon have always been very friendly and professional . I feel as though my business is appreciated and the entire staff go above and beyond to make me feel welcome.Angel Nim has been coloring and cutting my hair for well over a year now and Ive always loved the results. When I leave the salon my haircut and color will be exactly what i wanted and is also very easy for me to fix at home.I will continue to go there and highly recommend anyone who is looking for a great salon to go and check them out for yourself.

Did keratin therapy with group-on coupon. They charged me extra money saying my hair is thicker, though i have an average Asian hair. The stylist did not even know how to handle my hair . After first wash my hair was frizzy and just like before the treatment, in spite of using the recommended sulfate and sodium free shampoo. I fixed an appointment with the owner whose response was ridiculous!!!She said i can try another treatment paying same amount of money I payed first and that keratin treatment has to be done 3-4 times to get visible results!!!I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO THERE.

I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure! Lexiie was AMAZING and she did a fabulous job! My nails and toes are perfect!! She did so good, I scheduled my next appointment before I left :)

Angie is the hair whisperer. She is good at assessing the very nature of your hair and adapting what you want to the texture, growth pattern, etc. of you head of hair. Great with dyes as well.

I just tried making a manicure appointment and was told I could not get a manicure on a Saturday that the tech did not work on Saturdays. It is funny how I had an appointment last Saturday that I had to cancel and was trying to reschedule. I am not sure they know what they are doing at this place.

In have been coming here for a little over a year now to see Angel Nim. She always has me leaving fab! I love that I can go from classic ombre to purple! She is the only one who cuts/dyes my hair!**Editing to add Angel Nim no longer works here so my review is no longer relevant to this salon. She is still the best stylist ever though! Hands down!

Extremely RUDE and unprofessional!! The owner/manager does not care at all about customer service and she makes that known.I was a new client and my hair color was messed up very badly. The cosmetologist was polite and stayed late to try to fix it. After coloring and processing for a second time, it was better than the terrible first attempt, but it was then left splotchy and brassy and was definitely still not what I had wanted. I paid for the services and got home extremely upset and disappointed and realized that there is no way I could leave it that way! I called the owner/manager, Angel Petro, to ask for a refund because I had to make an appointment with someone else. She was extremely rude from the very beginning! She made it a point to inform me that she was a Color Specialist --but keep in mind that she was present through my entire experience and was fully aware of how awful my hair looked when I walked out of her establishment-- She then patronizingly let me know that (and I quote) I am not about to sit here and give some girl a color chemistry lesson over the phone, she said that her color corrective services are usually well over $100 and told me that I could come in for her to fix it, but that if thats not good enough for me then I could go somewhere else!Goes to show why she is having to resort to groupon, but even still, I have no clue how this lady is still in business. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Absolutely do not waste your money on a mani-pedi here. They use this short-backed chair that has a drawer that pulls out and you stick your feet in a bucket. They use a Mr. Pumice, to scrub your foot, barely softened my feet at all. She did a terrible job painting and cutting my nails as well.I also got a hait cut, thats the only reason I gave 3 stars. My hair cut wasnt perfect but its decent.

I shouldve read these reviews before purchasing my Groupon. I got a package of 5 blowouts. My first blowout was with Angel and she did a fantastic job. It was so great that I could get over the terrible location with no parking, stained carpet, and rinky-dink salon. My second blowout was absolutely horrendous. I requested purple shampoo to keep my blonde hair bright and the stylist somehow messed that up and actually turned my hair purple in streaks. Not only that, she had NO IDEA how to use products. When I left, my hair was so frizzy. I couldve done a way better job myself. The front desk lady never asked how my service was, so here I am venting on the Internet. I could go on and on but bottom line, dont go here. If you already purchased a Groupon just cut your losses. Its not worth the gas to get there.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!I went with a Groupon and had my hair cut by Deborah. She absolutely butchered my hair, so much that I had to go in 3 days later and have the owner try to fix it. The owner made no apologies for her employee and explained that the way my hair had been cut, it was in shock and that Id have to just wear it in a ponytail for at least a week because there wasnt much she could do to fix the mistake of her employee.Then, she asked me to come back in 6 weeks and expected me to pay regular, full price for her to attempt to fix it again. NO THANK YOU!I ended up going to another salon on 12th South that did an amazing job in fixing the disaster of that haircut. I ended up spending entirely too much money on a single hair cut between the Groupon and the added cost of having to go to a professional hair dresser to get everything fixed.Save your money, energy and time. Go somewhere else.

Never called me back for a week straight then I drove 45 min because their voicemail says walk ins available. Then she told me some sorry excuse as to why she couldnt see me during walk in times. Dont waste your time or money here. Very rude and unprofessional.

Showed up for my 2pm appt that I received 3 reminders about and waited for about 10 minutes after my appt time. I finally went up to the rinky dinky reception desk and was told that it was the estheticians first day and she wasnt there yet. I was also told that she wasnt answering her phone. I decided to walk out and will be getting a facial elsewhere. This place was a little scary upon first sight and I almost turned around as soon as I pulled into the parking lot. Thought Id give it a try but that was obviously a mistake.Update: Being a reasonable and intelligent person, I realize that a salon/spa has no real control over whether their employees arrive on time or even show up for their job at all. However, I was given a simple sorry and nothing else at the time of my non-existent service. Perhaps an offer to come back another time for a discount was in order? Perhaps an offer for an alternative service since I had driven all the way from Goodlettsville for the appointment? Furthermore, defending your spa by pointing out that you (obviously) have no control over employees just make me confident in my decision to walk out and never visit this business again.

Pay attention to the reviews from those that used their groupon at this salon. Unfortunately, I did not. When I asked the nail tech about a particular polish color to match my gel polish, she stated, youre using Groupon right? She then proceeded to explain to me that she would have to upcharge me to remove my gel (Ive never paid extra for gel removal). I disputed this and was not made to pay. Later, I asked the tech how she knew I was a groupon customer and she told me that it was written beside my appointment. Basically, everyone is aware that you are a groupon customer before you even get there and they try to squeeze more money out of you. I felt really uncomfortable afterwards and I was there 3 hours for a gel mani and pedi. Not to mention the 20 something year old nail tech knows everything, just ask her. And she literally talked my head off about all the things an employee should not talk about, such as religion and politics. I couldnt wait to get out of there. Do not go! All negative reviews about the owner are correct. I repeat...DO NOT GO.

My husband had purchased a Groupon for a hair cut a while back and set the appointment. I dropped him off at what looked to be the business (the sign was out front after all) but after he walked over, and I had already left, he discovered that they were no longer in that building. They had never mentioned when making the appointment that they had moved which had clearly just happened! They said that by the time he would get to the new place that it would be too late for a cut even though he arrived early at the address on the Groupon. After seeing all the reviews, I am so glad they didnt mess up his beautiful head of hair! This was quite a while ago and I think there was more to the story but I knew that they had treated him crappy. I just remembered all that as I was perusing a Groupon for a facial they offered...I saw the location and it stopped me cold. No way!

This is the hair salon you have avoided all your life and still will avoid if you read this review. I purchased a groupon for full highlights, I showed the girl a picture, yet I came out with a lions mane. She even proceeded to charge me for every extra bowl because she was scared her manager was looking at her. she left my hair so dry and brittle I couldnt even touch it. And once it was all done, she just took a blow dryer and went through my hair. no style, no brand new look. Their customer service is horrible and I would never ever go here again. Probably why theyve been on Groupon for over a year now.

I bought a groupon and left without being serviced. The place was so dingy and gross, not to mention empty of any customers at all, and no one even greeted me with a smile or a hello when I walked in. They have horrible posters on the wall of photoshopped jessica alba and orlando bloom, so weird. And after I was told one thing on the phone, they told me something entirely different in person - and told me I was wrong and no one ever would have said that to me. Well, someone did!So I decided it wasnt worth chancing it and left because I was SO uncomfortable with the girl who was going to do my hair - she never smiled once and was so awkward to me. What a waste of an hour of my time getting there and home and now praying that groupon will refund me because they were so rude.
