Couldn’t recommend this place more. I had multiple issues with a specific tooth before coming here. After working with Dr. Shipp and his team, I finally felt confident that I had found a forever dentist. Loved this place and their staff so much that now my husband goes there!

I wish I had found this office years ago. The level of care is amazing and the office is extremely well run. Dr. Shipp and his team really take the time to educate you on what they diagnose and the benefits of how they ll treat you and how you can really help yourself. This office has a rare and excellent culture. Snoring problem? Definitely treat your issues here before you resort to wearing a mask.

I have been going here since I was a little girl. The quality has stayed the same throughout the years and the staff is so friendly. They care about whats best for you, and make a plan that focuses around what you actually need, not just a bunch of excessive stuff to rack up the $$$. Would recommend to anyone.

I have been going to Belle Meade Smile Center for 5+ years and have even lived in NYC for 2 of those but make sure to schedule all my cleanings when home! They are the friendliest staff, cleanest space and do the most thorough cleanings. They do not rush you through your visit and take time to really clean your teeth well all while making you comfortable. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Audrey and Rachel were very kind and Dr. Shipp made me feel very comfortable asking my questions about my teeth. I am so thankful that my insurance recommended me to come here. Dr. Shipp and his team truly go above and beyond for their clients. They make me feel safe and comfortable in every situation, whether it is for a regular dental cleaning, a filling, or trying something new like Clear Correct. I have had several bad experiences with dentists before, however Dr. Shipp is not one of them. I recommend him to everyone I know looking for a new provider. Dr. Shipp and staff are superb in all aspects. Fixed a nuisance cavity with a laser and didnt even have to numb up. Dentistry has come a long way. Dr. Shipp is definitely on the cutting edge. Latisha as a Hygienist...absolutely outstanding. Theres a reason for the 5 stars. They are excellent at what they do.

The BEST dental experience Ive ever had, hands down!I just moved from Michigan to Tennessee after I got married, and was recommended to Belle Meade Smile by my husbands CEO. It was about a 45 minute drive from where I live, but wanted to give them a shot. Let me tell you, it was such a great experience! I went in for a cleaning, and the staff was so friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in, to the second I left.My dental hygienist, Palmer was AMAZING! Talk about a GREAT cleaning - probably the best cleaning Ive had in a while! She was very gentle and took her time. She got everything!! Not to mention the amount of knowledge about gums, plaque and gingivitis - she explained everything to me and the way our gums and teeth work. Im not the best at remembering to floss, but she told me to start off small - twice a week, then 4 times a week and then itll be every day before I knew it!Ive never had such an encouraging hygienist, and one that went into great detail to make me understand. After all, I was a business major, hahaha!When the dentist, Dr. Shipp came in, him and Palmer worked so great together, from her explaining her findings to his recommendations. I couldnt go wrong. Dr. Shipp even buffed and polished my fill ins/ bonding (free of charge), as I had chipped my two front teeth when I was younger.I will be going back for veneers, and wouldnt trust any other practice with this procedure!Thank you Belle Meade for this great experience and always taking care of your patients. My husband and I are so grateful for you and your practice!

When I have needed procedures beyond routine cleaning everything has been clearly and fully explained to me allowing my participation in determining the course of treatment. I have never felt rushed. As of last year, my (then) 4-year-old daughter is also a patient of Dr. Shipp. I’m happy that her childhood experiences at the dentist can be much better than mine were! Dr. Shipp claims to want to foster long standing patient relationships however the Minacious reality is mcuh different.Office staff lies about benefits and Dr. Shipp expects patients to be okay under these circumstances.  Dr. Shipp attemtped to coerce a apology for stsndign up for my rights as a patient thereby holding his staff accountable.Unfortunately Dr. Shipp believes he is not there to serve patients by not holding his staff to account.Dr. Shipp also regularly removes his mask when talking to patients something any medical professional knows is unhealthy, dangerous, and unbecoming of a dentist during a pandemic.  Nashvillians derserve better than Dr. Shipp and his uncontempt office staff that cannot determine benefits correctly

This was truly the best dental experience I have ever had! I am so happy to have found my forever dentist office! I tend to put off dentist appointments because it can cause me some anxiety, but my experience today was so smooth. I have no concerns about going back regularly. Janet, the receptionist, made scheduling and the initial registration process so easy! I had zero wait time. Audrey, the hygienist, was amazing! She was so thorough. She explained every part of the process and was extremely gentle yet definitely got the job done. My teeth have never felt cleaner! Dr. Shipp was so punctual, kind, and is clearly very experienced. It truly is a wonderful office and I am thankful to have found them!

Everyone was so friendly, and the entire office was squeaky clean. They were able to fit me in on the same day, and the whole appointment was really relaxed. My hygienist and Dr. Shipp explained what they were doing and why they were doing it with every step. I will definitely be going back! I have no complaints whatsoever.

Dr. Shipp and his team are fantastic. His practice has consistently provided thorough and meticulous oral care and cosmetic dental services since I became a patient 7 years ago.Over the years, I have received a variety of treatments and services from his office, including: regular cleanings, dental/oral exams, crowns, fillings, smile restoration, emergency exams and treatment, Botox treatment for TMJ, a custom night-guard, and maintenance of dental implants. The results have been excellent—they make certain of that. On the rare occasion that I felt my bite needed extra tweaking or I was concerned about sensitivity on an otherwise healthy tooth, Dr. Shipp’s team thoroughly investigated and resolved any issues. When I have had questions or concerns about my oral health, they took care to address them by counseling me on cleaning technique, recommending oral hygiene products, or educating me on symptoms to watch out for. It’s very reassuring to understand how to address my oral health concerns, and to know that Dr. Shipp’s team will carefully monitor and treat them as needed.An added bonus: Dr. Shipp seems to stay up-to-date on the latest dental technology. His practice has some newer gadgets that have made my last few experiences with dental work shorter and more comfortable.

I had a major dental emergency on a Sunday early in the morning, I called Dr. Shipp and within 30 minutes he had me antibiotics and told me exactly what to do to relieve the pain. This was all on a Sunday morning when his office is closed, during his free time. He’s a great dentist!

I have been seeing Dr. Shipp for 7 years. He and his staff are simply the best in every regard. Over my lifetime of 50 years, I have had multiple fillings, several crowns and two root canals from various dental professionals. Dr. Shipp is the most competent, kind, Professional, and efficient dentist I have had. I love how he utilizes the latest technology to make the process painless or at least less discomfort (e.g. the shot he gives is nearly painless compared to others, due to a special tool). I moved to Bowling Green, yet still travel back to Nashville for The Belle Meade Smile Center, it’s worth the drive. A friend originally referred me, whose father was a dentist (since retired), so she knew what great dentistry was. I highly recommend Dr Shipp and The Belle Meade Smile Center.

Dr Shipp and his team went above and beyond to take care of me in one of the hardest moments of my life. I was in the middle of a terrible medical crisis when a tooth broke at the worse moment. They rushed me in and took excellent care of me as a NEW PATIENT and went above and beyond to minister to me and help me get taken care of and back to the doctor. They are AMAZING. OUR NEW DENTIST

Generally I have had a great experience with the Belle Meade Smile Center, especially with Dr. Shipp. This time, however, was a bad experience. I was caught in unexpected traffic and notified the receptionist by phone beforehand that I would be slightly late. I did arrive 15 minutes late, because the traffic was so bad. My appointment was going to be cancelled had I not been in the elevator in their building when her call came in on my iPhone. Seems like a very harsh policy, .I told the receptionist that I also wanted to make a cleaning appointment for my wife. She said she an opening on Monday, but since I was late I had to go see the dental hygienist immediately. After my teeth cleaning, I went back to the receptionist to make the appointment and she told me she had already given it away to someone else and there were no longer any openings. She did tell me to have a nice day.Furthermore, the dental hygienist who treated me was not the friendliest of persons. After taking me to the pay window, she just turned around and left. No thanks for coming in or anything. I thanked her anyway. Maybe she was in a bad mood because I was late.Then, I received the bill - $294 - from another unsmiling — in the smile center - employee. This seemed like an extravagant price for a teeth cleaning - the highest I have ever paid. I am a senior citizen and a veteran without dental insurance. You would think they had more sense than that.In conclusion, my wife and I wont be going back. I dont think we will be missed, however, because they are so busy and can pretty much charge anything they want. A disappointed David Mastran.

Im proud of the way our office has gone above and beyond to to protect our patients as well as our staff. We prescreen every patient and staff member that is coming into the office and require every person use hand sanitizer after entering our office. We constantly disinfect every surface that is touched from the front door knob to the dental chair, but it doesnt stop there. We have Hepa filters in every room and we are fogging the entire office twice daily. Of Course, we continue to follow a very strict disinfecting and sterilization protocol as always. It feels great to know that we are providing a safe environment for your dental care.

Pulled a tooth put new one on, a bridge, no after pain, “that never happens” great job! My new go to denist!!!!
