I have lived at this apartments on 2 separate occasions. The first time (2018-2019) was great. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to move back after moving elsewhere. My second experience (2020-2021) has been very bad especially with the move out.I would not suggest living in these apartments. They do not take care of their residents well. They will not call or email back. Plus, the price is much too high for the dated apartments that they are.After I moved out recently, I could not get in contact with anyone from the apartments to help me with my final payment. They cutoff my online payment option. The only way I found out that I still owed money and the amount that I owed was by calling Greystar management in Washington. Otherwise, I would still owe money and would be killing my credit all because they wont answer a phone call, email, or send a final bill.I would be willing to bet that there are many others that have moved out and think that they have completely paid all their dues yet still owe money because of the way the apartments cut off the online payment portal prior to all bills being issued.

Please do not live at this apartment!! They will try to scam you out of money 2 months after moving out. My roommate and I were great tenants.. never missed rent and never had any complaints. They are now trying to charge us for “stains” (one small stain) on carpet that was disgusting prior to move in, and we even documented that it was not clean. They do not care about their frontline working tenants and are just trying to make a buck.

I would not recommend the Lexington to a friend. I lived here for two years. I saw enough spiders, roaches, and mice in my clean apartment to last a lifetime. The monthly pest control fee was seemingly for nothing. I started experiencing a leak and maintenance came and said there was nothing wrong, twice. Well, the leak problem continued until I realized the bottom of my closet and bathroom were wet and moldy which I was then told was due to the A/C leaking. It was difficult to get in touch with the office staff on multiple occasions, and maintenance and the office had no clear communication between each other. Right after this issue, a pipe in the apartment above burst which caused our ceiling to fall in from holding so much water. Cleaning this up was a major inconvenience and due to slow responses these flood issues weren’t completely resolved for 4 months, leaving multiple rooms uninhabitable for weeks. I was given $250 off of one month’s rent from the complex which was a nice gesture but didn’t seem sufficient for what I had been experiencing for multiple months. Additionally, I liked using the gym until 2 of the 3 treadmills were out of order for at least a month, when I called to let the office know about the treadmills, one female staff member was outright rude, unprovoked. I know everyone has bad days, but it was very unprofessional. There are likely better apartment options in Bellevue.

Although I did not end up picking Avana Lexington as my place to call home, Trevor is the absolute BEST! He was very knowledgable, patient and was quick to answer all my questions and concerns. He even went to two different potential apartments I was looking at and took pictures to show me the view from each when I was trying to make a decision. Trevor goes above and beyond! If youre interested in Avana Lexington, be sure to ask for him. You wont be disappointed!

So far my move-in experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I called in a gas leak on Friday evening when I picked up my keys. A technician came out, tightened a few things and said it was fine. I called again on Sunday when there was still a gas smell and standing water in my hallway. In regards to the water, I was told “well the units are stacked, so since you’re the bottom, you just get screwed.” In regards to the gas smell, I was told they’d come back tomorrow, maybe. Now after three trips to the office on Monday, I spoke to the property manager who told me “gas smells weren’t an emergency.” My unit was not cleaned prior to move-in as evidence by the face full of cobwebs I walked into when picked up my keys. The management has instructed me to submit “tickets” online but not to expect everything to be fixed. Shenna, the property manager, informed me that this was the trade off for not living in a “class A property.”Update: Supposedly, the gas leak has been fixed - almost 72 hours after I called it in. Stay tuned.

I had to find a new apartment quickly due to being new to Nashville and not knowing the area. With that, Avana Lexington helped me in every step. Each agent I spoke with was friendly, engaging, and customer service driven! The apartment is beautiful and I already feel at home! I highly recommend living here!

Apartments were clean. Never had issues with bugs or mice or anything. Theyre horrible about communication though. Its almost impossible to reach someone via email, quick chat, phone call, etc.. We moved out almost 5 months ago and we still havent gotten our security deposit back after many emails and phone calls.

Great place to live! Moved in with my sister and it could not be better! The apartments are so nice & our dog also loves it here! The office staff is amazing and always helps us asap! We definitely recommend trevor in the office! He is so helpful and kind! So is the maintenance! 10/10 would recommend!

Moving into the Avana Lexington in two weeks and I am very excited. Office staff has been completely wonderful assisting me in my process of relocating from another state. Im glad I chose the Avana Lexington as my new home.

We have only lived here for a couple of weeks, but we have been so pleased with the move in process and the response of the management and maintenance teams to all of our questions and concerns. Our apartment is beautiful!

I love living here. I moved in about 3 years ago and have met so many neighbors. Having a dog, it’s a great place to live. There is a dog park and a TON of people who have dogs around the neighborhood.

We’re just here temporarily, so some of the things broken/not working aren’t a huge deal. However, the rent here is on the high side for the area and I kinda wish we’d gone with another complex. The location is convenient for us, but that’s about it. Some of the things that tipped the scales for us to pick this apartment aren’t available, and that sucks. Tennis court is only half usable (the other half is slippery with mildew), heated pool is out of service, dog park is a mud pit, upstairs neighbors are LOUD, there’s dog poop EVERYWHERE, the trash compactor is constantly beeping but also unavailable. Maintenance is hit or miss. Ladybugs and mildew always inside the windows. Lots of other small things.

Its hard to find a great place to live nowadays. For a year I was able to experience The Lexington Apartments. Yeah, there were some stray cats or something but theres a lot of great things that this apartment complex does. They call in food trucks over by the pool and the food isnt that expensive. You can eat and swim and have a great time. They promote community and they keep you informed. It was actually really nice being there. I really enjoyed living there.

My wife and me moved into this apartment complex recently and we could not be more thrilled about it. The entire staff is fantastic from the application process to the move-in and maintenance. Shira took GREAT care of us during the approval process and has been extremely responsive to anything that we have needed. In addition, Bernard, our designated maintenance tech, is absolutely wonderful. He always has a big smile when he visits and made sure to introduce himself while we were moving in. We absolutely love this place and all of the staff that work here.

HORRIBLE MAINTENANCE AND FLEA INFESTED APARTMENTSIf I could put ZERO stars I would.I do not recommend living here at all. The office staff could care less about their tenants. Ive put in a maintenance request over a month ago and it still hasnt been fulfilled. After alerting the leasing office about this issue, I was told that I shouldnt count on it getting done because their maintenance crew gets to CHOOSE which requests their want to complete. This place is so unprofessional and rude. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS NEEDS.ALSO, when we first moved into this apartment it was infested with FLEAS. Which we had to get rid of ourselves although they were from the previous tenant!!!

Love the hills. Apartment has no storage space. Great kitchen appliances. Dislike having to use a mailroom!

I’ve lived at the Lexington for 2 years now and I really love it. I think the experience also comes down to which building you live in and which leasing agent you deal with. Trevor is the best. Buildings 1-12 are a bit older and on a different water system, so I would recommend buildings 13 and above. I’d also stay away from buildings that are bordering the woods, as they have had some problems with bugs and pests. Otherwise, you can’t beat the amenities and apartment size for the price!

I recently just moved into The Lexington and I couldnt be happier with Danas assistance throughout my move-in process especially running on such a time crunch and other issues on my end. I love how spacious the property is because although it is an apartment complex it truly feels like a home. It is also EXTREMELY quiet on the grounds and I have yet to hear any of my neighbors. I have had all phone calls returned almost immediately as well as have prompt responses to all emails. I would recommend The Lexington to anyone looking for reasonably priced luxurious living!

Shira was an AMAZING help. I walked in after getting screwed out of my apartment that I paid for in advance, and she was immediately ready to help. I was very stressed (moving from out of state) and she did whatever I could to help me get a place to stay the day of. I’ve loved living at the Lexington! Just wrapping up a year here and only moving to be closer to family in Texas, otherwise i would totally renew. The dog park is so great for my greyhound, the gym is well maintained, the maintenance team is responsive and courteous and the leasing team has been awesome. Trevor was my leasing agent and has been super helpful and friendly all year! I’ve met a ton of great people by walking my dog and honestly i don’t have any complaints.

This is one of the best apartment complexes Ive lived in. Kristen in the office is great about following up on my questions and was very helpful throughout the leasing process. The tall ceilings and huge windows definitely make the units feel bigger. The grounds are clean, well-kept, quiet, and feel safe to walk around day or night. My unit has a gas stove and fireplace which are hard to find in apartments. The ease/proximity to shopping and the highway are huge pluses. Highly recommend.

Shira is a wonderful leasing agent! I moved from out of state with my boyfriend moving from another state, so neither of us were able to see the apartment complex prior to the day of move in. Instead of going in blind, she took the time to face time us layouts so we could have a feel of the complex beforehand. The apartment itself is lovely, quite large and quiet & secluded. Super dog friendly complex as well; all in all this is a great place to be!

My wife and I lived at the Lexington for three years and had nothing but positive experiences. The amenities were convenient and well maintained, and if something was undergoing maintenance the staff always sent out an e-mail with an explanation and a time frame for when it would be available again. The service staff was knowledgeable and attentive and service requests were usually handled within 24 hours (with emergency services available for overnight issues). Would recommend the Lexington for anyone looking for an apartment in Bellevue.

This place was great to live. The staff in the office was always available as well as maintenance. Kendal was amazing and helped me from the start to the beginning. Only downside was finding parking during late nights or early mornings. Highly recommend.

The Lexington is such a beautiful place! The community grounds are so well kept and the apartment interiors are unique, cozy and classy. Everything is meticulously maintained and it felt like home right away. Trevor in the office is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I can not recommend this community highly enough!

Hands down the best apartment complex Ive ever lived in (and Ive lived in a lot). Dont get me wrong, weve had issues, but maintenance is top notch and every issue is fixed immediately and without shortcuts.

Great complex and great staff. Kristen was awesome in the paperwork side of things and very friendly with other questions we had. She also went out of way to make sure our air was turned off after repairs while we was out of town. Great amenities on the grounds to include three pools one of which is in doors a car wash and a gym. Would highly recommend for friends looking for a place to give Kristen a call and see what she can do to accommodate anyone searching for a residence.

The ceiling in my garage just collapsed in the center. I went to the office early yesterday afternoon and told them there was a leak coming from the apartment next door. The response was they would put in a work order, but didnt feel they could enter the neighbors apartment without notice. Gee, arent leaks considered an emergency? I told the guy if you do not send someone soon the ceiling is going to collapse. I explained to him that it was a substantial amount of water coming from the ceiling. I also said if the ceiling collapsed they were the ones responsible for any damage it caused. Because I had never seen the guy in the office before, I even told him the maintenance guys came into my apartment when there was a leak that was effecting the tenants below, and I never gave permission or had notice! Apparently, they didnt care if any of my stored items were damaged. I wish I could post the pictures. I cannot even get the garage door up, because it took out the wiring. My oriental rug is soaked and I am concerned about any electrical current that may be conducted through the water on the floor. The have known about the leak for over 24 hours, so no point contacting them again. Cant wait to hear the response to this review from management. Perhaps, sorry for the inconvenience, or glad you werent hurt/ electrocuted or under the ceiling when it collapsed.

Safe, beautiful community. Amazing staff. Huge, well stocked gym with 24-hour access. Easy access to I-40 and about 15-20 minutes from downtown. I have loved living here!

Its been a long search before winding down to the Lexingtons. Shira has been the most wonderful human being and leasing personnel. She was helpful, kind enough to change our lease at the very last moment. She was really good to show us around many options and make sure my family gets the best deal.

While we cant share in the positive reviews of experiences with Shira (ours have been nothing but negative since we moved in, unfortunately) we CAN rave about maintenance and other members of the team! While they have all been great over the years, Josh, with maintenance, is a cut above the rest. He goes above and beyond for the residents, is thoughtful and respectful, and always makes sure youre happy with the work done. Trevor (in the leasing office) is incredibly kind and considerate and has always lent a helping hand when weve needed it. He has helped us out more than once and makes himself available even when he is busy. While we do struggle with a significant amount of bugs finding their way into our unit (even with regular pest control treatments) that isnt enough to deter us from living here. We love the Lexington!

We have just begun our lease, but have had a fantastic experience so far. The property is well-kept and we are very pleased with our apartment. Shira has been wonderful throughout the process. She has been honest and extremely helpful in answering any questions that we have had, in addition to being flexible and efficient in regards to managing the paperwork and logistics over distance.

Just moved in at the beginning of the month. I love the sense of community they offer. For the solar eclipse, they handed put free solar glasses and pizza to everyone at the pool. The folks in the office are professional and personable. Lori even takes the time to play with my toddler while I take care of business. The maitnence team is also very friendly a d quick to take care of the few issues that have needed attention.Thats just the people. As far as the place goes, its amazing to wake up and be IN THE MOUNTAINS. That might sound goofy, but coming from Flat Dallas, the natural beauty that envelopes this complex is something magical. Lastly, i have downtown less than 10 minutes away, and all kinds of shopping and dining options even closer. We will be staying here until its time to buy.

Not only was The Lexington recommended but Shira was as well. Lived at the Lexington for the duration of a 15 month lease and here is my takeaway:1) The mold problem other people have mentioned is real. When I made a maintenance request about it, I was given the line about how the building wasn’t constructed well and that I should just wipe down my windows every day. This maintenance worker was actually my favorite one in all of the apartments I’ve ever lived in so I’m not upset about the response — just that this is a fact life here.2) You will hear every movement your neighbors make. One of my neighbors liked to talk on the phone while going to the bathroom. Another liked to listen to music every morning when he woke up around 7am. My upstairs neighbor woke up at 6:30 on the dot every morning and woke me up with him. I knew exactly when his girlfriend was over because she had much harder footfalls. It literally sounded like thunder in my apartment whenever she was over. Sometimes a second woman would show up and have phone conversations on their deck — which she should have every right to do — but I could hear every word of her conversation. My neighbors across the hall had a tiny chihuahua who would bark all day while they were gone and it was still my problem.I took recordings of the footfalls about two weeks into my lease. The manager said I could move into a top floor apartment but when I explained that I’m a small, single girl with a couch and a bed and I can’t afford to pay movers again, she didn’t have any help for me. I was ultimately told to sleep with earplugs.3) So many bugs. You pay monthly for pest control but they only come if you ask. So they got 15 months worth of pest control fee and came out to my place once.Overall, the apartment itself was nice and I liked the layout. But the above reasons — primarily the noise, for me — made living here nearly impossible. I was constantly sleep deprived and couldn’t do it for another lease. Be warned.

I moved in recently for a fall internship. Leasing Professional Shira helped me apply for an apartment and get moved in, and has helped me every step of the way. She has been super helpful and has been quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns. After moving in, Shira continues to help me with any questions that arise. The complex is beautiful and the apartment is awesome! I could not recommend this place more.

Ive lived in in many states over the years and Shira at the Lexington was my far the best Ive ever worked with. She was always prompt with emails and calls as I was moving into the state from Florida. She had everything ready for me and set up when I came in and has been less than a phone call away this entire week as Im adjusting to the move and where everything is at. Not only did she help me with my move she also showed me around the complex, and gave me a list and directions to all local groceries, restaurants, and parks ! If I could give her 10 stars I would

I have stayed at the Lexington apartments for about a year and have had an awful experience for a couple reasons.1. Management is extremely unresponsive. I was unable to pay for my bill online due to errors and I could not speak to anyone at the office because they kept redirecting me to someone who was consistently unavailable, leading me to a $100 late fee I had no choice but to pay.2. I have had mold in my apartment about 9 out of the 12 months I have been here. They came in and fixed it when I first discovered it by simply painting over it. When it came back at a larger scale, they came in and cut my wall open and left it open for several weeks (and then blamed me for not contacting them to remind them to fix it, even though I let them know I would be out of town). When it came back a third time, they finally hired a third party to come look at it who confirmed that the whole wall needed to be taken out because the problem was massive. Management did not even do so much as to apologize (let alone speak to compensation or relocation options) but actually informed me that it wasnt a big deal and no one is actually allergic to mold (even though I coincidentally started having respiratory issues for the first time in my life).All in all, every issue Ive had thus far (even the mold) could have been handled in a decent manner that would have resulted in a 5 star review, but management at the Lexington is clearly a joke and they do not care about their residents. Their main concern seems to be getting paid and getting by with as little effort as possible. Effectively, this will be my first and last year at the Lexington, and I recommend you steer clear. (-:

I have loved my experience with The Lexington. It’s a great place to live and very clean and private. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Shira is so approachable and is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure the restidents’ needs are met. I highly recommend living here!

I absolutely love living at the Lexington. I moved in at the beginning of the year and haven’t had many complaints! Shira has helped make moving and everything else easy. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone moving to Nashville!!

One of many things I like about the Lexington is the maintenance staff. Today I had an issue in my unit and as always the maintenance staff was everything youd expect: prompt in addressing the issue, friendly and professional. Thank you!

I have lived here 5 years and love it! The staff is wonderful and prompt to respond and the grounds are beautiful! Close to everything and only a 15-20 minute drive to downtown!

I love the location apartment and amenities. THAT SAID... the maintenance staff is THE WORST. After moving in I found black mold completely covering the window sills. I was told that it was because of condensation due to poorly made windows and the only solution they offered me was for me to wipe down my windows every day. Who does that?! The front door isn’t secure. The spider problem is insane. After calling about the spiders I was told that I can avoid spiders by cleaning. First of all, aside from the mold situation, my apartment is spotless. Secondly, cleaning helps with ants, not spiders...Edit: adding an additional experience and some photos...Im on the back side of one of the buildings (soon to not be and my move cant come soon enough...) after the third attempted break in in 3 weeks, I called the office to ask if it was possible for them to put up lights on the back side of the building because lots of people walk their dogs behind the buildings and at that point its a safety issue in my opinion. I was told AND I QUOTE: No, if we did that for your building, wed have to do it for everyone. ....yes, thats kind of the point...Edit again because of the apartments inaccurate reply:There is still mold covering my windows. Nothing was done about that. AT ALL. In fact, I was explicitly told over the phone that they would not be addressing the issue. The spiders may or may not have been sprayed for? but the only thing I received was a note on my counter saying I need to clean more and there are still just as many spiders. Still no lights on the back side of the apartments or any follow up to that request and its been over 2 months. Not sure how they think they followed through, and certainly wasnt just a miscommunication.

Living at the Lexington is the best. Its close to literally everything you will need, and its not far from downtown. Also the staff is amazing, especially Shira. She worked with us to get us in the room that fit us best and always listens to what we need. Its going to be hard to leave here, and her. I highly recommend this complex, and I HIGHLY recommend talking to Shira.

I love living here. We worked with Shira and absolutely love her! She is super professional, friendly, and has always been able to answer any questions I have had. I would recommend her and this apartment complex to anyone.

Prepare to live with bugs or hire your own exterminator. We have made endless request for the office to have someone come and spray it hasn’t happened. The office staff is great with the exception of the manager-terrible customers service. That’s all I have to say for now because I have to go wash “clean” dishes because my cabinets are full of bugs.

The Lexington has been great for the past 14 months. The office staff, specifically Shira, is extremely friendly, helpful, and quick to act on any request. The complex is nicely maintained and has great features (pool, newly expanded gym, etc). Would recommend for a place to live 15 minutes from Downtown.

Ive lived at the Lexington for about a year and am moving out soon. I really Enjoyed the place but what I’ll miss most is my leasing agent, Shira. She is one of my favorite people ever and has always been extremely helpful throughout the entire time I’ve been here even while moving out. Go see her if you’re thinking about renting.

This has been one of my favorite living experiences. Being a Nashville native, I wanted to be close to home and family and not spend a fortune on rent! I also wanted a safe community close to downtown, where I work. My leasing agent, Shira, made the moving and living process seamless - a true hospitality and housing professional! She and her team have taken care of any issues that have come up (which has been very few and far between). I would highly recommend the Lexington and Shira! :)

Overall experience has been good. Our apartment is infested with brown recluse spiders, literally they are everywhere. Also the office was pretty bad about responding to us about our apartment completely flooding. It took them over 9 hours to get back to us (yes the apartment was flooded for that long.) The maintenance crew was awesome, they did everything they could to help us out, but the office never called once to ask how we were after the flood or if we needed anything.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The maintenance team is amazing! Thanks Shira for helping me find the perfect apartment!

I’ve lived here for over a year now and could not imagine better office staff or maintenance crew. Any problem or questions I’ve had gets resolved or answered very quickly and efficiently. I have no complaints and would recommend these apartments 100%!

We just moved out, and throughout the entire duration of our 13 month lease we had to listen to the child above us running around and stomping constantly, and we could even hear when she cried. The floors are unbelievably thin. Grounds maintenance likes to do work at odd hours including extremely early on days even normal 9-5 workers would still be sleeping. And if you get home past rush hour any day of the week, you can kiss having anywhere near your apartment to park, or a parking spot at all for that matter. I was forced to park on the street one night when I got home from work late, and awoke to an orange sticker on my window telling me to move my car. I guess I should have parked in the grass?? Overall, there are better living options. Don’t waste your money.

UPDATE: I still think the apartments are great, but I will say the walls are super thin so I hear every single toilet flush, garage door opening, people walking above me, and music. So as great at the place is on the outside and how friendly the staff is unfortunately the not getting any real sleep after a few months starts to wear on a person.ORIGINAL: I cannot wait to move into The Lexington apartments! I flew out from California and had a weekend to find a job and apartment, so I was very stressed. Right off the bat I felt like I connected with Kristen and she went out of her way to show me how important tenants are to this complex. I was worried about my lifted SUV fitting in the garage, Kristen found other lifted cars at the apartments and measured them and the garage itself to confirm mine would fit. I was hesitant about my dog being in an apartment for the first time ever, she found me a dog walker. Every concern, fear, question, and excitement she responded too immediately! And she isnt the only one at the main office, Shellie was also beyond amazing and patient with all my questions and concerns when Kristen had her day off. Overall, moving across country by yourself is terrifying enough and its so reassuring to know that at the end of my 35 hour journey Ill be calling a place like The Lexington home!!

This has been the best apartment complex I have lived in. I am a graduate student and have lived in apartments my entire academic career. I can say that my experience with he complex and the staff has been extraordinary. Shira has been a godsend with any of the questions or complaints I have had. Whenever I have had a complaint or problem with my unit she has resolved it in record time and communicated with me every step of the way. I genuinely think that the staff does what they can to get you where you want to be.

Horrible place to live!1. Greedy and irresponsible and careless office manager and staff!2.You will see any different kind of bugs in the apartments! Spider,ants,cockroach....3.Smelly and very old apartments.4.Noisy apartments.5.Very thin walls.6.Maintenance guys dont know how to repair stuff.7.Appliances are all damaged and broke! The washer and the dryer are not working properly.8.Water bill is a joke and has nothing to do with your consumption.9.Very old and smelly,dirty carpet.10.Not safe.11.Nobody clean after their dogs.12.Dogs not on leash.13.People do drugs on the public area of the property.14. Dirty swimming pool.15.Solicitors Knock on your door almost every week.The only good thing about this complex which caught my eyes on the first place was the beautiful and green view of it but wasnt worth a penny, facing all the above disadvantages mentioned above everyday!
