This place is nice and helps you save money. Love the 9ft pool, they clean it often I believe. There is a gentleman who walks around the complex to pick up the rude peoples garbage. I do wish the a/c wall unit worked better, it’s always hot in the apartment

The Property Manager Emily and the Maintenance Supervisor Ernest have really shown they care about the tenants and the property. There was a small fire today but both of them showed up with the FD and made sure everything was okay. So impressive especially since its a Saturday. Wanna live in a place where the staff is on it, especially if something happens on a weekend, this is the place to live. Glad to live on a property where I can feel safe.

First off only one of the washers and dryers work so clean clothes… don’t need those! Second I’ve had to replace almost everything at my apartment during my stay here. Dishwasher had to be fixed, shower, sink replacement, closet doors you name it! The maintenance guy is fantastic but you can only do so much with things constantly breaking down.

I reached out to Sunrise apartments and I’ve had by far the best experience in a leasing staff of my life. Me and my son relocated from Memphis and we had an apartment picked out but didn’t like it. I called and spoke with Jamee in the office told her what was going on and she literally had me approved and ready to move in within 24hrs. This was hands down the easiest move in I’ve ever had. Whenever I called Jamee she answered! She quickly responded to my emails she was never frustrated no matter how many questions I asked I literally feel like she was a God send. I moved to Nashville where I don’t have any family and on top of that having my 1 year old son and a fully loaded U-Haul truck with almost no place to go finding Sunrise was definitely a weight lifted from my shoulders. My apartment is cozy spacious and I love it! Thank you so much Jamee!!! Hands down best customer service!!!!

Everything was fine until I moved out. Then management charged me with damage to the carpet from pets even though I never had any pets. Its not even about the money, its the fact that management was unwilling to listen to me. They said I took over the lease for someone else but I was never under that impression since it wasnt in my lease agreement. I truly hope others dont have the same move-out experience I did.

I called your office this afternoon and all i was trying to do is to know more about this appartments and if they have 2 bedrooms for me so i can apply for it. The person who answered my call was so mean and rude for no reason .i got yelled at for asking a questions. Worst service. I ever had.

I love living at the apartment community. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The space in my apartment is huge and I love it. It’s extremely quiet in the location and close to everything that I need. The maintenance is great and very friendly and takes care of you immediately. I give referrals often because of the good I’ve experienced.

I just moved in, The management are amazing, Emily and Ariana welcomed me with a smile, and when ever I need a thing they will guide me through. I love the floor plans. The yard is beautiful and kept even with a community garden. It is clean and quite. I can sit on my balcony enjoying the outdoors in peace. The staff here are so nice and care for you as an resident. I am so glad I picked this place to be my home.

I would like to heap praise on Jimmy, who was amazing maintenance job for me today - it was long and complicated and he was friendly, professional, and very thorough ... wonderful experience... and also I would like to thank Ariana in the office for a quick response to my maintenance request and excellent follow-up.

We have loved living here - the pool and our balcony are our favorite spots, the management is quick, kind, and so helpful, and neighbors are both quiet and nice. Though the buildings are not new, they are well kept and maintenance is quick to respond to any issues and is happy to help you improve your space. So pleased to have found affordable Nashville housing in a quiet part of a diverse neighborhood!

Getting worst - it should not take 2 months for someone to come out and fix a consistently leaking toilet that was flooding my bathroom on top of that maintenance shows up with no gloves no shoe cover NO MASK DURING A PANDEMIC. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME. RIDICULOUS

I live in apartment E153 and so far it has been amazing living here. I love being on the middle level. No stairs are the best. Management is awesome! I can always depend on them when I need them. I plan to renew my lease and stay another year. My neighbors are quite. No drama at all here. Just a great place to live. ***Veronica***

I have lived in the complex for right at eight months and have absolutely no complaints. The grounds are well kept and Ive never had any issues with maintenance. Management is very warm, friendly and shows a genuine interest in the property and its upkeep.

I’ve been here 3 years and I love it. Just transferred into a updated apartment and it’s very nice. Staff is very friendly and try to keep good communication. Haven’t had any problems with neighbors and it’s quiet. Parking is challenging at times but what apartments aren’t. Promptly fixes any issues for me. I recommend to single ppl or couples

Yes, these apartments are older. No, they arent the fanciest, but for the price its good. When I first moved here I was worried about the area but the apartments themselves are back off the road on a hill to themselves. Things are actually pretty quiet here as far a apartment complexes go. My biggest complaint is the air/heat situation. I dont mind having a wall unit, I just would like a new one that actually works well. It has gone out 3 times. But I can say that maintenance is on top of things. They come immediately and Carolina in the office is amazing about getting anything done that you ask her. I do feel relatively safe here. I will most likely resign my lease if things continue to go well. My dog loves all the hills and grass, too!

Its an older complex. But I love living here!!!!! My favorite time of day is about 4am before anyone else is up and around. I crack open my sliding glass door and drink my coffee listening to the birds chirping. Its awesome!

I understand that Nashville is a booming area. However, this is not the place to be. I felt horrible after signing a lease here and finding another apartment that was more up to date and had washer and dryer attachments. It was also cheaper... i would recommend to keep looking because these apartments cost too much for it being so outdated.

This place has been home for four years. Never have I lived somewhere where the staff is really on top of things! They really care for their residents. It’s quiet, clean. I haven’t ever felt unsafe. The area can be sketchy but the complex sits up on a hill behind some trees that kind of hide it from the road so I suppose it being hidden a bit helps keep people will bad intentions out. The place is wonderful.

Sunrise has been a joy to work with since the beginning of the leasing process. My requests and questions are always met promptly. I love my apartment living space and the complex is quiet with friendly faces around. I can see myself living here for a long time!

Its great for the price, the community is quiet, Ive never had any issues. The biggest problem I have is they make it extremely difficult for pet owners to live there. On top of the pet fee, they require pet damage insurance with your renters insurance. First of all, no legitimate insurance company is going to offer pet renters insurance. Secondly, the company they recommend, has no flexibility in their coverages. Its either Plan A or Plan B. So if you already have a great deal going with your current renters insurance, might as well kiss it good-bye.

While we have only been living at Sunrise Apartments for about a few months, we have truly enjoyed our time here. For the price, Sunrise is a phenomenal value and Id recommend it to anyone looking for a one-bedroom apartment in the area. There are tons of trees! Its a quieter atmosphere than youd expect in a normal apartment complex, the management is awesome, maintenance is so prompt, we feel safe, and are happy to call Sunrise Apartments our launching pad!!!

Infested with coach roaches!!!!! This place is terrible. Ive never had so many problems with any apartment before. I understand thats it cheap but my A/C broke in the summer and wasnt fixed for weeks after I told management and the same thing happened again with the heat when it got cold. The plugs were faulty or didnt work at all and a faulty outlet set my hairdryer on fire! Not joking at all. These issues were eventually addressed but one thing I keep complaining about and isnt getting better is the coach roaches. I am very clean and dont leave food out but the colder it gets the more coach roaches are everywhere! I cant open a cabinet, drawer or even my dishwasher without them crawling out!!! Its so disgusting and embarrassing I wont have people over. Maybe the newer models in the complex are better but please be aware that the older models are falling apart.

Roaches, ants, cracks, slow water drainage, very slow water pressure, old out of date appliances that are just painted over to look new-ER, only upside may be the neighbors who are wonderful and friendly. staff is ok, maintenance responds quickly, and the price of rent is decent, but not fair for what they offer in their renovated apartments and should be lowered due to all the issues that occur, even after maintenance comes and fixes things. i will say that i wont be resigning after my lease is up.

I have lived at this apartment for 2 years and I cant get out soon enough this fall. The staff is friendly but thats the only perk. The units are overpriced for what they are- outdated appliances. Cabinets and drawers are plywood with white paint. Counters and bathtub are just coated with paint that chips over time. The wood laminate flooring curls around the toilet. The deck rotted and we stepped through it. The light fixture in the kitchen is rotted and broke off when we accidently bumped into it. Majority of the neighbors are illegals or drug addicts who sit home all day and play loud music at night. My biggest complaint is the roach infestation that has been in existence since day one. I keep my apartment spotless, but it is still a constant disgusting battle due to likely careless neighbors. No exaggeration, I see and kill upwards of 20 a day or more. They have people spray but it doesnt help. The carpet is flat and cheap. Rent keeps going up every lease term but its not worth it. If youre reading this, dont even consider this place. You will instantly regret it.

ROACHES. When I first moved in the apartments were ROACH INFESTED. I gave them two months notice of me moving in. My move in date was already delayed because they didnt caulk the tub. I took a day off work to move my stuff from storage to the apartment. I moved a car full of stuff to the third floor. To find it ROACH INVESTED. They were coming from the outlets, carpet, and were hanging out on the wall. I had to move my belongings back down to my car and re pack it. Management told me it would take a few more days because they were unaware of the infestation. I told them I took off of work to move, they did not care and just said they could credit the days. Which was unacceptable. After I did move in, I still had ROACHES for till December ( I moved in August). Management had to bomb the entire building every other week for months. I was scared to leave food out, when I went to the bedroom. Horrible gross experience.

Horrible apartments a lot of drug activity in the area and a lot of apartments and cars constantly get broken into. Old amenities and appliances and management is always changing a rule or policy. The apartments are shape very awkwardly small living rooms and a very small kitchen. The balconies on most of the apartments are decaying and as a tenant you may just one day walk out onto your balcony one day and fall right through. Also management is very racist and they stereotype every visitor that a tenant has also management does not allow tenants to have visitors or guests. I stayed here for six months there is no central heat in any of the units so your electric bill will be between 175-200$ per month in addition to the 650$ a month for rent. These are horribly high priced apartments in a very high crime area, I wouldnt recommend these to anyone.

So we have been living in these apartments for 7 months,and have hated every bit.so lets start from the beginning.We had been looking for a apartment in our price rage for a few months,we find sunrise,we go and look at the area,it was not high end but what do you expect for how much the rent cose right? We start to speak to management and they keep assuring us its a one bedroom quiet nebiorhoord(a big plus for me being a audio engineer) They tell us they have a deal for 549 if we sign up that month.At that point my fiance and I both agree to rent the apartment,thats when the snakey management starts what they are known for(we had read reviews and just heard of bad management) They keep telling us its a quiet neiborhood and one bedroom,they repditivly reassure us its safe and tell us they have a night security guard.We find out 3 days later that it is not quiet at all,for these to only be one bedrooms there are tons of children here,now children as they are scream and cry through out the day so its something i can deal with,However at night its worse,Loud music being blarred from arount 11pm to 4am car alarms going off cause somone is working on a car,and left on for hours.a few months ago my fiance and I where coming back from a event and where packing items into the house,i went first cause i had some heavy items,i noticed a drunk man walking the oppisite direction and me being protective i wait at the front door,The man trys to grab her and drag her into his apartment.Then a few weeks later, We had guest over,when one guest went to leave he was hit IN THE PARKING LOT in front of the office buy a drunk guy.The man then tried to intimidate him and I stating he knew people we dident want to mess with.Last night on 11/12/2013 my car was broken into,a ipod and 4 non working gpss where taken.My fiance let the management know they said they where not responsible for theft from vehicles or apartments,she then asked if they had cameras they said no,she then asked if the security guard seen anything.They then tell us the guard does not stay on the grounds everynight he comes in drives through then leaves and they dident have a guard till last month...Those are the main complaints if you wish there is more belowIn the summer our AC went out,we asked maintence to come fix it)Maintance is great however)They came in and looked at it decieded they would replace it fully.They bring in a ac from a diffrent apartment and it starts working,a few hours pass and i come out of the bedroom to get a drink and relise that there are cockroachs all over the AC,they brought us a infested AC,we tell mainmence and they tell us they have never had problems with roachs but say they will send a tech out to spray.2 weeks later the tech shows up he sprays.The roachs do not die even a month later,I had to pay out of pocket 40 dollars for roach bomb to kill them,i then tell Management and they tell me im out of that money and that i should have told them and they would have sent the tech back out....As well the gentleman above me(a drunk 30 something man with friends who are sketchy for sure) decides to take a bath,the roof was leaking already,for about a hour i hear the water running but figure long shower,i then notice my bathroom is holding 3 inchs of water and the roof is pouring water.We call and maintece shows up promplty.Now we have damaged pictures books and even our paperwork for the apartment however the apartment tells us it is not there fault and that we may have to pay for the roof work.

Terrible place to live. Conditions are way out of date.

Me and my girlfriend will not renew our lease. I get off at 5 in the morning and they have people today banging on wood attempting to fix something, when I asked if they could do another unit I was cussed out. Horrible management, buildings are falling apart. Not worth the money.
