I followed Elizabeth to this nail salon and couldn’t be happier. Not only did my nails come out beautiful but management was very friendly, willing to learn and help pick out colors, etc. The salon is clean and I’m glad I came today.

The people here are so nice BUT I will never go back because I got a nail fungus on three of my nails. In all of my life I have never had a nail fungus and Ive been wearing nails for many years. Plus there seems to be one guy who know how to do nails, and hes not even that good. The rest of the ladies are really inexperienced, but they are nice. Thats all youll get here is nice people and nail fungus.

I live in Rockland County, but I work in Hunts Point, which is where I used to get my nails done by a fabulous nail technician named Vinny. Vinny was a perfectionist...my nails were always perfectly filed, buffed, shaped, and polished. Literally, no flaws. However, parking, location, wait time, and my drive home after work was taking a toll, so I needed to find a nail salon closer to my house...and I did...Michael Wangs.I read the reviews and most were average to not good, but I gave MW a try.I wear acrylic nails. I like them on the thicker side because I cook, wash dishes, clean the house, walk the dogs, and Im constantly working with my hands.I was impressed with the location, beautiful decorations and inviting atmosphere that Im gonna continue going to MW and be open and share with my new nail technician how Id like my nails to look. I figure they gotta learn somehow, so why not be the one to show them exactly what I like. One out of 5, 5 being best, Id rate my nails by MW a middle 4 because they have to smooth them with the finishing buffer a little more, and let me rinse my nails in water before polishing them to avoid any imperfections.The pedicure department is Top Notch....a solid 5 out of 5!
