I really wanted to enjoy my experience here as I followed the Instagram and really loved their work. I booked an appointment online with Leeah 2.5 weeks out. The day before the appointment an employee reached out to let me know Leeah would be out but someone else would be able to do my nails. I said as long as the outcome is the same that’s fine as I was a first time customer. They had me send over a design and assured me the tech could do the design. I arrived at my appointment to an obvious nail student. This is not a review to bash the tech because she’s new. But it’s not right to give a new customer, who’s expecting a specific artists work, a student. The woman was sweet but nervous and worked slower. I was there for 2 hours, in that time only my natural nails were filed unevenly and cuticles were cut, no design & I didn’t even receive the pedicure because I had to leave. I’m sure they do good work but this situation was handled horribly.

I had a poor experience at Leeah Nail Salon. Before I go into the specifics of my negative experience, I want to preface by saying there were some very positive aspects as well. I reached out to the owner via Instagram who responded quickly to my questions. Everyone was friendly and the salon itself was very clean. I especially appreciated the 20% new customer discount.My issue involves the amount of time it took to get my nails done. I had an appointment to get acrylics and a nail design, and the email confirmation noted the duration of the appointment would be 1.5 hours. The nail tech started on my nails at 10:15am. We hadn’t even gotten to applying the acrylic monomer until over an hour later. After the nail tech had been working on my nails for 2 hours and 45 minutes, I had to cut it off and leave. We hadn’t even gotten to the nail design at that point. I haven’t gotten acrylics done in years, but I know that it doesn’t take almost 3 hours.A few things about that. About an hour after I left, the owner reached out to me via Instagram and told me that when I come back in for the design, the 20% off discount will be honored. I appreciated that. She also explained how they’re working with a new acrylic monomer that has less of an odor compared to other monomers. Because of this, it takes longer to dry. I have no issue waiting longer for the monomer to dry, but the fact that it took over an hour for the nail tech to even start applying the acrylic monomer is concerning. Also, the nail tech started just the week prior to my visit. She’s new to the business and there are kinks to work out. Being mindful of that, I still tipped her 20%. I wish I was told ahead of time how much longer this appointment would take. I was completely going off of the duration emailed to me in the confirmation and, given the design I had asked for, would have understood if it took a bit longer. But 2 hours and 45 minutes is not good.I told the owner about my experience and after 48 hours, still no response from her. Communication went from a fast response to completely ignoring me. Not a good look! If you decide to go here, I hope you have a better experience than I did! I’m sure many of the other techs are great.

Facility was clean and well organized. Staff was very nice and used brand new tools (individually wrapped) for every customer that came in. Service was great! Lily was a rockstar, she was quick, detailed, funny and sweet. The service matches the monetary value and I would 100% come back.

I recently moved to the area, and was looking for a new nail salon. Today was my second time getting a service, and again, Im more than satisfied. I brought in a picture of what I wanted. Bailey chose the right colors, and the design came out better than the original screenshot. They have a loyal customer in me for as long as Im living here.

I received a gel manicure with extensions on November 15 but am posting this review on December 2 because I wanted to see how my nails would hold up after a few weeks to be able to give a full and honest review.Customer service was excellent. The place is clean and chic. You can tell that it’s a new business because there are still boxes around the waiting area and looks a bit unfinished. Can’t wait to see what it looks like once they’re done with the decor! They’re a bit pricey but well worth it because they pay attention to detail and are committed to providing a thorough and clean service. There are a lot of color and design options; the owner also offered many suggestions without being pushy which I appreciate. Staff was friendly and offered a complimentary drink. Overall I had a pleasant experience and would return.

The actual mani/pedi was okay. However, they were behind about 40 minutes. That does happen sometimes, which is okay. However, they had another staff member who was available who they did not ask to begin my services until about 35 minutes after I had been waiting. Then, they did not have the color I selected for my pedi and the color that they suggested was not a good recommendation. They could use a little more organization with their color library. I probably wouldn’t come back because I value my time.

Just left there for an appointment for an ultimate pedicure. Fran decided to do the callus remover first which meant my feet couldnt soak. So I had her digging into my toes DRY then attempt to use a pumice stone on my DRY feet. So she gets finished and my toes are sore and my feet still have dead skin on them. Oh and the kicker is that I had to watch a person sit right next to me getting an ultimate pedicure done PROPERLY. And what does the owner do? Gives me a discount not offer to correct the issue. Well you just lost a customer sir.

My nail technician, LilyBeth, was EXCELLENT, VERY FRIENDLY & GENTLE. I would definitely return for another visit. I enjoyed the ambiance and how clean and neat the salon is kept. I had the classic mani & ultimate pedicure. I enjoyed it along with the quality massage chairs.

Came here for a gel manicure with tips and nail art, and it was perfect. They pay very close attention to detail, making sure every nail is perfect. The salon is very comfortable and relaxing and the massage was also very good. I was very satisfied with the results and definitely plan on coming back here time and time again.

Date of service: 09/12/19Pictures: 09/13/19- The costumer service was amazing.- They were very polite and nice.- They offered juice or sparkling water at no cost.- They massaged me after both manicure and pedicure.- The quality of the treatments is not equal nor compensates what they cost.-They had this “special offer” gel mani and regular pedi for $60 (a little overpriced I thought, but it is Montclair and I was sure it was going to be worth it). No, it was not.- The paint is not strong at all, he needed to put three coats and still you can see the lunula of my nails, and happened the same with the person next to me, they even made her a discount. Didn’t mention nothing to me, though.- They charge $10 per nail design.- They do not wash your hands.- They leave too much cuticle.- They don’t fully paint your nails, leaving a space between the nail and the skin.- The pedicures are not good either.- They do not treat the calluses, nor dry heels.

I treated my boyfriend to a spa day and we really enjoyed ourselves. First I liked that the price for men and women are the same for mani-pedis. The chairs did not message but were so comfortable that I didnt even notice. Both of our nail technicians were knowledgeable and pleasant. The feet message was amazing!

I had such an unpleasant experience with a male manager. I visited here yesterday. I showed him the picture of nails I would like him to do so. He suggested me with colors that would look like the picture I showed him. Right after manicure, I looked at it and color looked little bit weird. furthermore, after I took a shower and washed my hands multiple times, colors were getting different from the original colors. So I made a call today and spoke with him. On the phone, as I was telling him that you should have given me a heads-up for possibility of color change, he was not trying to listen what I have to say and interfered my conversation. I asked him for retouch with some compromised price since he has a partial responsibility of not giving me a heads up for color change. However, he was so irresponsible like “I didn’t do anything wrong” and he cannot compromise anything and hand over his phone to the owner. He did not even say sorry to me. Even owner was so rude. I was shocked by owner’s behavior as well. I told him everything and he was telling me “oh my manager has such a pride of his nail art and this is why he did not say sorry to you”. And he sarcastically said sorry to me instead of his manager. The owner reluctantly offered me free removal and basic color retouch. So I went there again for a retouch. This time I got it from a different staff. While I was getting my manicure, the owner and manager gave me a scornful and disrespectful look and they say nothing to me and treated me like an invisible person. Regardless of this unpleasant experience, I gave a tip to other staff who did good job on my nails. Seriously, if you were thinking about going to this place for your nails, I would not recommend you for their poor service and unpleasant experience I had. If you still decided to go, then do not get it from male manager!!!
