Came in as a walk in and was greeted with a smile. The owner Linda is amazing. I was greatly surprised to find Kim from Tracys Nails, who I was advised by Tracys Nails she had retired. Kim and Heidi both from Tracys Nails who in my opinion are the best at what they do are now working at Famous Nails so elated. Salon is clean very welcoming felt right at home this will definitely be my permanent place for my pedicures. If you need a pedicure or manicure give Famous Nails a shot you will not be disappointed.

AMAZING Service. I came to famous nails because I didn’t like how my previous nail tech left mine, (bumpy acrylics). Heidi and Kim did an amazing job fixing them for me, and my pedicure was amazing as well. Great prices too. Definitely will come back 😊

This is such an amazing place. Its a bit pricey and I noticed i was left with a blank spot on the side of a nail. However, their customer service is great! Today was my first time here and we bonded so well. I left with the biggest smile on my face.

I had never paid so much money to do my nails, here it is too expensive, I am not to blame that they take so long, there they charge up to what it takes to do them, it is not together that I pay $109 for this? Elsewhere I only pay $80 I have never paid more until today. And then they tell you a price and then they charge you more! I will never come back too expensive!

Linda did amazing job. She gave me ideas of what design i could do and had great suggestions. I also showed her pictures of what i wanted and she easily gave me that.

My first time here and the ladies were all very nice and attentive. I got my first full set with Linda she did an amazing job was quick. Same with the girl that did my pedicure I forgot her name but they all do good work. Most importantly what made me feel good about wanting to return was the customer service. Linda you have a great team and count on me being a regular there now. 😀

I came in for gel mani without an appt. I waited about 25mins to get seated. Kim was courteous and talkative, the place is clean nothing extraordinary from other nail salons, the gel dryer machine needs an upgrade. I didnt get a hand massage (not sure if theres covid related) Prices are average thirty five to apply gel and french tip. After a week the gel is intact over my nails. Good job.

SO AMAZING!!! My nails look so good! Shape, quality, EVERYTHING. They turned out better than I could have expect ccand everyone in there was so nice! Would 100% recommend and will be going back every time.

Place was nice and staff was friendly. The manager checked in a few times and seems very hands on and proactive. I only gave 4 stars because the polish on my nails and toes dont really match. The colors are similar, but one is pink while the other is purple. With that being said I do think I will return.

Highly suggested that you DO NOT use Linda. She’s the sweetest one but she is not a good nail tech. Does not files nails down, not good at shaping. I had to shape my own nails. I feel bad writing this review because she is a very nice lady but her work is terrible.

I came to Famous Nails a few weeks ago and was delighted with the gel manicure I received from Linda. She was very professional, experienced, and friendly. Always asking me how I liked how my nails were looking with every step she did. That was very important to me. Here I am again today and it was a wonderful experience again. This salon is a keeper.

I’ve been coming here for 13 years now, they welcome you with open arms and make you feel at home, they have the BEST customer service, and EXCELLENT experience in nail care! what I will say is that they take the time to get to know there each one of there customers and will try there best to satisfy you by ALL means, since I’ve been coming to this very nail shop for many years I’ve brought many friends and family and yet has NO one told me they didn’t like there services everyone I’ve brought they’ve continued to come back because of there quality of work, I’m VERY picky person and yet have a found a nail shop like this one! I went the 22 of April to have gel nails. I paid $46 and they started falling off the 1 of May. I think its a bad job. Not worth it for the money I paid.

I have been coming to Famous nails for about 4 years since I moved to Montclair. This is a one stop shop! From manicures to pedicures, every shape of nails you can imagine, many choices for gel colors, waxing, massages and eyelash extensions to name a few. I was a little hesitant when I saw the sign saying under new management, when I called for my appointment I asked for the lady that does my nails, Helen, and she was still there. Actually all the workers are still there. The new owner Linda is welcoming and warm and has created an atmosphere to relax. She really upgraded with spa chairs, really a whole new look. I am very satisfied every time I come here. Highly recommended! Oh and don’t forget to ask for wine!

I am new to California, & Ive been searching for a nail salon. Ive dealt with a nail fungus and losing an entire nail due to unsanitary conditions in a salon so Im very picky with my service standards and cleanliness standards. This salon has been renovated and is under new management. It is very clean and the chairs are super comfortable. My technician was Linda. She was very welcoming and gave me exactly what I asked for on my nails. I am a bit sensitive when my nails are being filed around the sides (ie: filing to create a nice narrow stiletto/almond/coffin nail) - I have been to fancy salons where I will pull back a bit and the tech will scold me, get annoyed if I say it hurts, or file harder, and sometimes even make me bleed and not care. Without me having to ask, Linda took the time to slow down and shape my nails without hurting me. To me, that kind of consideration and customer service is something you cant necessarily buy - To top it off, the price I did pay today was incredible. I do not know the owners of this salon, nor was I paid or coerced to do this review ( I have run into so many instances where the reviews are not legit so I wanted to disclaim this!!) Overall, I had a great experience & I will come back to get my nails done again - I highly recommend this salon.

The work done by Linda the owner is not the best. She a a beginner, I would suggest you going a couple blocks up to Montclair Nails, they do professional work. Linda does a HORRIBLE Jobon lashes, they don’t last, they sag and are droopy the first day she puts them on. Then she keeps asking you how does that look is that full enough I’d that ok because she knows she’s doing a horrible job then she demands you give her a tip. Her work is not worth a tip. And her prices are way to high for amateur service. If you go there and get anything done by Linda you will see what I’m talking about.

Horrible!!!!nails started falling off the next day!left my nails crusty and when I told her I didn’t like the nails she turned into a beast and told me I had ugly nails and to get out of her store. Unfortunately I had paid her up front and I had even tipped her before the job was done. She then turned to my eleven year old daughter and asked her if I was crazy. The owner has some real anger issues and doesn’t know how to do nails. Place needs to be shut down.
