I have been visiting Montclair for a few years now, and have been getting my nails done for over 15 years back in Minneapolis,MN and HANDS DOWN Stella and the staff at Imperial are THE BEST in the industry! I highly recommend them for any occasion; birthdays, girls days, date night or just simply to splurge and TREAT YOURSELF. Because ladies we all know we need to treat ourselves!! I can go in there with nothing but stubs of nails and they will get me back to normal! SIMPLY THE BEST!

Second time having a mani pedi here with Alex. It was amazing. Best pedicure I’ve ever had. Reflexology hot stones 20 min massage of my feet and legs. Then she finished up my manicure with full shoulder and back massage. More than normal but worth every penny of the $50 I paid.I will definitely be back!

This salon is very clean and uses plastic liners in the pedicure bowls. That is very important. I have had the best pedicures Ive ever had (and Ive had many) by Jessica. She is the best. Yes there are salons that are friendlier and warmer - but the way my nails look is the most important to me. Try Jessica you wont regret it.

Genie did an awesome job with my nails. I regularly come here for pedicures which are heavenly and thought Id try to get my fingernails back to groomed. Im so glad I did!

I love this salon - by far the best in Montclair. All staff are well experienced and trained, receptionist is kind cordial and accommodating. The owner is almost always on site. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Showed discrimination. We are all equal here in America and as soon as I walked in I felt like I was not wanted there as an African American black woman.

Nice ambiance, people seemed nice but somehow I felt a bit rushed. Couldve just been me though, i was really tired that day and moving extra slow. I got a regular manicure, and was disappointed to find out they are one of those places that do the waterless manicures. Im not a fan of those...I didnt ask the lady to soak my hands, so I dont know if they would accommodate it upon request, but they might. Other than that, the manicure turned out well. I just missed that squeaky clean hands feeling you get with a water based mani. Not sure I would go again, but if I do, Id definitely ask them to soak my hands.If you dont mind the waterless situation, then this is a great place. The placed seemed to have many regular customers who were on a first name basis, so thats definitely a good sign.
