I went to this salon to get my acrylics removed due to personal reasons and on a timeline. Instead of soaking them or filing them down, they trimmed my nail shorter and used a tip to peel them off my nail! My nails now hurt and my natural nail is damaged. All I can do is wait for them to grow out. I already have brittle nails that break all the time. I could have removed them this way at home which is not good for your nails and why I went to a salon. Very disappointed and upset finding out after the fact that this is not common practice and my nails should not have been removed this way!

1) I asked for nail repairs with acrylic. I specifically said I had a glued repair that didn’t last. I asked for this several times, even after she glued one. Instead she cut one off and left the other glued. It broke off within hours of coming home.2) I wanted the nail and toenail polish to match. After she made several attempts, I gave up.3) They are higher priced than the last couple places I went to regularly.4) They didn’t move me to a chair for the manicure. I was left in a pedicure chair with a massage knob sticking in my back, granted when I complained about the knob in my back she did get a pillow for me.I don’t know if she didn’t understand me or just chose to not do what I asked. Very disappointed! I was looking for a new regular place since I just moved here.

I was super happy with the way my acrylic dip nails turned out at first. Had to wait 30 minutes even with an appointment but at first I was okay with that cause I liked the how Mary did my nails. Now 3 days later I have 3 nails already lifting and it’s just disappointing cause I liked the colors and everything. Hoping the set will last through my week long vacation. Their pedicures are top notch and would get one once a week if I could!! Will be giving another place a chance next time though.

They are very clean, professional, & gentle with ingrown toenails. The environment is pleasant & soothing. Mr feet always look wonderful. My manicure looks great & lasts weeks and they give an excellent neck/arm/shoulder massage that makes for a very relaxing & pampering experience to treat yourself to.Thank you Contour Nails & Rose for the best nail salon in the area!

Couture Nails is always helpful and professional. Many ladies are quite talented in artful designs. I have been going to them for the last 4 to 5 years. The only negative thing, which is very common is the lack of English spoken.

They do great manicures but I dont care for being rushed to soak my hands and having to pick a color with one hand from a bin of 100 clumsy color samples. I try to get there early so I can take my time looking for a color but then get rushed to a chair anyway.

Found this place by accident when I needed my nails done in a pinch. I dont even live anywhere near here, but I will definitely be coming back. My nail dip came out beautifully. I dont even have to fix the length & shape with my own file at home because they are perfect already!! 😂

I have been going to Couture for years. Ann recently got me switch to the dip nails rather than the acrylic nails that I have been doing for 20+years. The dip powder system is better for your nails and allows you to have a stronger nail bed and even grow out your own nails. I have been very happy. If you need your nails done or a manicure or pedicure please go to Couture.

My nails are crooked and lopsided. the lady that did my nails was nice and my friend had a guy who was sweet doing her nails. this other lady who worked there randomly started laughing at my friend nails and made the guy working on them stop. he was doing wayyyy better than he did by the way. but i don’t recommend this place and i would suggest another place instead. my friend requested a coffin shape and received a square. anyways i wish their business well and hope they get better.

I have been to 2 other nail salons in the past month and have come out with horrible nails. Couture nails changed everything! They were knowledgable, friendly, and listened to what I wanted. They took time to shape the nails that used to be horribly wide and thick to these beautiful coffin shaped ones. I went in with a picture and came out with nails that looked exactly like it. Ill be going back for sure.

This place is my fave!!! In all the years Ive been getting my nails and toes done I havent found a better place. Absolutely FANTASTIC. First time doing dip powder. I will never go back to Gel or Acrylic.

I will give my most honest opinion. A week ago I was doing these nails and I did not like how they left me they are crooked and badly cast. after I noticed that the edges of my nails were dry and very full, I went back to see if they could help me and they got upset. They TRIED help me and this was the result. They charged me $ 57 dll.

I am so picky about my nail salons, I had some bad experiences with some a while back so finding a good one can be stressful for me. Couture Nails is my absolute go to while living in the North East Everet/Seattle area. Every time I go in they are professional and personable. They are CLEAN!!!! Even before COVID they adhered to strict sanitary measures. Their have a great product selection from full sets, to shellac, to dip. They also provide massages and waxing. To top it off they offer a cold beverage and pleasant conversation. I have been here 3 times in the last 8 months and they remember my husband, daughter, and that I had hip surgery. They are considerate of others and their sensitivities and they offer home made face mask at a great price. By chance I always got Cindy as my nail technician the first two times but now I request her. If you are looking for a great place to feel calm, relaxed, and well taken care come see the team and Couture Nails.

ACTUALLY WORST NAILS IN MONROE!!!!!!!!Made an appointment for acrylics. Came in and immediately as I sat down they tried to get me to do things that cost 50-60$ that i wasn’t interested in. I asked if they could do a cute French tip and they said that instead of the 29$ acrylic it would be 50$ & It wasn’t a complicated design, but they seemed iffy so I said it’s okay I’ll just do plain nail polish on top. The lady was literally coughing in my face, not covering her mouth or turning away. I tried to make small talk but felt completely unwelcome. The nails turned out thick and chunky and curved down. I kept asking for thinner and this is still the outcome. Blue ocean always does a WAY better job and tries to make me feel comfortable. If you want good nails go to blue ocean instead. Never going back to this place!

My mom, sister, and I looked for a nail place that we liked for a few months, and then we found Couture Nails! We love that its only 5 mins from our house, but wed make the drive even if we lived further away. We usually see Rose, Kim, or Ann, and all of them do a fabulous job. We get both manicures and pedicures here, and were back every two weeks like clockwork. We finally found our place!! The nails in the pic were a dipping powder ombre mani done by Rose.

The most painful worse pedi I’ve ever gotten. The lady I had clipped my cuticles so low and so much that she took my actual skin. I started bleeding and it was extremely uncomfortable. Especially when she put the alcohol on it to stop the bleeding. She didn’t say sorry or even ask if I wanted the alcohol on it to stop the bleeding. She also put so much polish on my nails that they got run marks.

Had a full set of acrylic nails put on. Looked beautiful. Price written up was total of $52.00 for full set shellac and toe nail polish change. When leaving I was charged $61.00😮I was so happy with the service but after 10 days,I had 2 pop off. I had already had that happen from Glamour nails in Monroe a few weeks before that. This time I went to Blue Ocean Nails and the nail artist 👩‍🎨 noticed all the nails would so easily pop off😩 she put on a whole new set. Really hoping they stay on this time. I have had nails on for over 25 years and never had this happen.

Although the cost is a bit high, the quality of the work is great! I keep returning to this friendly shop.

I love this place! I used to come here all the time before I move actually was just there this past weekend their technicians are a very experienced and are super nice. Definitely make an appointment ahead of time because they do get very packed. I just wish they would have their prices somewhere so you know exactly what youre paying for but definitely worth every dime spent.

Fingernail was crooked, fixed sort of before I left. Pedicure was NOT a good job. My heels were not taken care of. They are very busy and I tried to make small conversation and I was ignored. Very interesting experience. There is a gentleman that helps with issues, he was super nice and personable.

Nails didn’t turn out how I wanted the first time. Called back and was told the problem would be fixed for free. Went in the next day and the job that was done was amazing. Quality care, they redid my nails from scratch and ensured I was happy. Amazing service!

A very annoying experience. The employees were very very loud. All on their phones laughing and playing. A couple were jumping on each others backs.... it was very loud and annoying. I couldnt even relax. On top of it the lady made my toe bleed by not paying attention. Another lady was eating fruit super loud talking then putting fruit in the ladys mouth that was doing my pedicure. Very unprofessional and never going back. I know i wasnt the only costumer annoyed with the service and behavior or the employees. NEVER AGAIN.

Ive been here several times and gotten both manicures and pedicures. They are friendly, welcoming and thorough. Their prices are comparable with other places in town and so is their service. Come as both a walk in and appointment never had to wait too long.

She honestly could care about what I wanted when I got acrylics. They were all crooked and they charged $15 extra for the design I wanted. She couldnt draw a straight line to save her Life. I never feel welcome.

Been here now for three different design on my nails with Ms Ann she always does a beautiful job! Ms Kim has done eyelash extensions for me (my first ever set) and was great! And Ms Rose makes my feet feel like I’m walking on clouds when she get done with my pedicure! I will never go anywhere else! I’ve been going here awhile and my nails have pretty much always looked decent and they are very friendly people but, I have some concerns with the cleanliness. They keep their nail dremals in old altoids containers and I’ve never seen anything be disinfected, just tossed back into the case. I went to a cosmetology school and disinfection was an absolute must for everything that anyone could touch. I do hope they upgrade their sanitization skills because the people who work here are very nice and they do come out on top when compared to every other nail salon in Monroe.

So I went there to get acrylic nails done and I had the worst person she cut me over 5 time I bled 3 times and the design was horrible they were not even cut the way I wanted and far worse then what I payed for. The nice thing was the prices. I will not be going back

They were fantastic! Very nice, extremely clean. My daughter and I went together. She and I both got manicures and eyebrow wax and tint, I also got a pedicure. They did a wonderful job all around. I appreciated that the untencils used were all individually packed and autoclaved.

Took my daughter in law and niece so we could have some girl time and get our nails done. This was a huge mistake! The woman that did mine completely ignored anything i said as she was too busy paying attention to her phone. The ONE time she did answer me she snapped at me. I asked for rounded nails I ended up with square not to mention they are too big and cut into my fingers. And all different lengths. My niece asked for long coffin and they told told her no that they wouldnt do long on her till her next visit amd gave her square as Well. She always has them done long and never has a problem.My daughter in law however some how got lucky and hers were ok aside from some sharp edges we later has fixed elsewhere.For spending OVER 150.00 for all 3 sets this was ridiculous. I really hope other people have a better experience and are treated with some kind of common decency.

Had a pedicure two weeks ago. My toe nail got infected and still isn’t healed. Now my toe nail is falling off. Would not recommend this salon.

Ive had a mix of experiences here. Ive made appointments, rather than walking in. My first 2 mani/pedis were great. My 3rd was on a busy day, I was taken 20 minutes later than my appointment time, and ended up having 2 different techs working on me. One for my mani and one for my pedi. I was happy with my pedi, but my mani was not so great. Some of my fingernails were so square they were sharp and broke, they were uneven, and I had to keep recutting my cuticles at home several days afterward, as they kept splitting. Moral of the story, dont go on a busy day...

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. They are nothing but rude. The job was terrible, not even 2 days after and my nails were lifting. Sad thing is when I called I got nothing but attitude about fixing my nail. And they definitely dont follow cleanliness standards. She was working on me with a bleeding finger and just put a dab of super glue on there until I told her she needed to wash her hands..thats not safe! Super unprofessional place. Never going back and definitely dont recommend. The health department should be doing a check on them!

Worst experience ever!!! Thieves! I went in for a Mani/pedi-shellac on the hands. A lady came in right after me and was told come back in 30 mins, I was told to wait a few. It was about 5-7 mins not bad. So I ordered Luxury on both services a little extra pampering. Well ended up finishing the pedi, just started my nails and the lady working with me says she has an appointment... Stops my work so I wait for the next attendy available. At this point Ive all ready been here 1.5 hrs. The new lady I say I do need to leave around 2pm for work and she says you may need to be late. Um no! These 2 services shouldnt reach over 2 hrs in the first place!! But thats not the worst even! So already giving them extra time it is now 2:20 and I cant leave any later without getting fired!! I say I need to finish here so I go to pay and they try to charge me full price for services I didnt even receive!!! 😒😒 I say no I got just a basic and they tried to say since I asked for it I pay, yet they took over 2.5 hours and I missed out on the relaxing part just being stressed. I will NEVER be back and tell others not to. Since it was horrible customer service!!

Wort place to go if you want your nails done! I went in today and the lady did a horrible job🙄 I asked for coffin shaped nails and she left them all crooked! You fill out a card when you enter indicating what service you would like. If you choose gel nails you then indicate if you would like a manicure which is extra... this is the basic nail prep that is STANDARD before any gel nail polish application (or so i thought). Either way I wanted my nails done for pics so i just paid extra. The end product was gel polish over cuticles or polish that was rough at the tips and led to cracked polish within 2 days.I would rather the standard nail prep just be included in the price of the shellac nails (like at all other salons), so i dont leave feeling nickled and dimed.I gave the place another shot with waxing. The lady waxed one side of my upper lip, then the other.. while missing a inch in between sides. She did not hand me a mirror to see the end result just said i was done. I went to their mirror outside the waxing room and noticed a large spot was indeed not waxed. I told the lady and she waxed the missing spot. However, she NEVER checked for more hair or got her tweezers to get stray hairs. I got home and had to tweeze left over hair.I just moved to Monroe recently from the Seattle area. I REALLY wanted to like this place but it is so hard to find a quality nail/waxing salon, especially in Monroe.

I have been here twice. The first time because my husband bought me nail services as a gift. The whole time sitting there getting my nails done was miserable. The lady doing them was grumpy and unfriendly. I initially tried small talk but she only had nasty answers back. The nails looked like paddles when they were finished, where they were wider than the ends of my fingers. I swore I would not return. One day last week though I needed to get my nails done and the other place I usually go to had shut- down. So I chanced it to go there again. When I walked in the greeting I received was cold, at best. Granted they were 15 minutes from closing I learned and she said she could not do a fill for me. I said okay thank you anyways can my son(6 years old and doing the potty dance) please use the rest room? She rudely said No, our restrooms are for paying customers onlyI simply left...I will not return there again... :(
