Helena is the worst nail tech Ive ever been to.1. I asked for square/SLIGHLY ROUNDED nails (she did what she felt like doing)2. When I left, there was a TON of glue under my nails. When she was working, she kept looking in all directions but my nails, so of course, she cut me.3. I think the index finger on my right hand is a good representation of this place. I used to love this place, but am never coming back. Scheduling am appointment at another place to take this mess off.

Ive been to countless nail salons around Monroe, Indian Trail and Matthews when I first moved here from Greensboro and needed to find a new place. This is by far the best! It is a great looking salon, nice and clean. The people are SUPER friendly. They always make you feel very welcome. And of course their work is great!

I am not happy that I spent so much money to receive nails that I didnt ask for and specifically said 3 times I did not want, but especially after they were ALL lifted or completely missing after only 4 days! The man that works here is AWFUL! He gave me a different length and shape than I repeatedly told him I wanted, because he was trying to upsell for $35 more. None of my nails were the same length (not even 2 of them), some of the tips were too small for my nail beds, and most of them were facing off to one side or the other. I had to go get artificial nail remover from CVS last night, but didnt even need it.... the ones that remained, and had not fallen off on their own, were so lifted that I only had to slide my real nail underneath it slightly and they popped right off!! He should either not be doing nails or they should not be charging customers FULL price for his work. The girl doing my pedicure filed my toenails crooked and too short, and even cut into the side of my toe with the file. Thats now infected and SORE!! FUN, FUN! The polish was missing from my pinky toes after the first day as she never roughed up the surface of them or even attempted to removed the shine.

Service has really gone down. I wanted a new set but because they were busy they told me that I just needed a fill in. Needless to say two nails have broken before my two weeks were up. I will be looking into another salon.

Wait time was a little long (30 mins wait even with an appointment). However, the service was wonderful and pricing is very reasonable. Luckily I was not in a hurry and didnt mind the wait.

To begin, I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience was extremely poor. I made an appointment for a gel manicure a few weeks in advance to get my nails done for a wedding I was apart of. The nail tech (did not catch her name unfortunately) was SUPER rough on cutting my cuticles. So much so, she made me bleed in two different spots. I understand mistakes happen, so I didnt say anything for the first cut. Once the second cut occurred, I did speak up and asked politely if she could just be a bit more gentle. She did not properly clean up the blood, and it was dripping (sorry for unpleasant details) everywhere. She did nothing about it and proceeded to finish the manicure. She put on really thick coats of the polish, so theyre pretty bubbly looking. She also did not clean up any edges. After the manicure was over, I discreetly went over to the owner to ask for help. She was shocked as I was bleeding pretty badly. The owner did apologize and cleaned me up, but did not offer a discount/gift card or anything for the trouble. Sadly, this was the worst experience Ive ever had at a nail salon.*Photos were taken after the clean up.*If you look at the other negative reviews for this nail salon, many people have had a terrible experience with this particular nail tech- she has glasses. Steer clear.

Great customer service, everyone was polite and I really enjoyed my visit. However I came in and got a manicure with gel finger nail polish and the polish started chipping the next day. I’ve had gel at another salons plenty of times and it took up to a week to start coming off, I paid $25.00 and I’m upset now because my birthday is in a few days and I thought I was going to have fresh looking nails.

Love this place, have always left very happy with the service. Employees work very hard to please you and learn your preferences. Tip well, they deserve it.

Exquisite atmosphere and top notch customer service. This is the only nail salon I will use in Monroe. The staff is kind and considerate. I recommend calling ahead or booking an appointment as they are usually busy. Walk ins are accepted.

I have to say. This is the best nail salon Ive been in since I moved here 5 years ago. I get ingrown and work on my feet all day and MARY H did an absolutely amazing job on my toes! I got a deluxe and it comes with a lot of nice massages, mask, paraffin, polish....hands down best around

As far as local nail salons go this one is my favorite. Very clean, well staffed, professional and kind. Rarely a wait and they do a wonderful job.

Not impressed at ALL. i am a college student on a budget and i was charged TEN DOLLARS more than normal for a full set of S&S. i choose s&s because it is supposed to last long so i don’t have to go every two weeks, but if even reach into my purse one of my nails will come out snapped in half. i was given an acrylic tip on one of my nails to keep the broken one the same length as the others and i opened my car door and my nail snapped! with an acrylic tip! and it HURTS. they tell me my “natural nails are too long” but i don’t have time or money to maintain acrylics and i don’t want them? sorry? not to mention every time i get my s&s removed they drill into my cuticles and it hurts even more. i would love to go back and have my nail fixed, but last time i was charged to fix them when it hadn’t even been two weeks. so now my nail is ripped off, which happened the next day after it broke, exposing my nail bed and it is completely ruined. thank you serenity! you did a crappy job once again and now i can’t even complete simple tasks without my nail bleeding.

Great service! They even recommended nail colors for me. I have never had that before. My nail tech was very personable and my my mani and pedi were beautiful. I wont go anywhere else! Oh and price wise they are great too.

My first visit was spectacular and just had my second visit which was just as fantastic. Nice clean and friendly environment. Love it and I will definitely make this my top nail place

Corona 19 relaxation pedicure manicure and massage

Tuesday I went to get a broken nail repaired & Mary # 1 (LOL) who is at the first chair, on the left side of the salon, went above & beyond to make sure I was happy. She removed all of my nails & started over, because some were already lifting, or separating from my real nails. Although she was doing it for free, I attempted to pay her, but she did not want my money! She just wanted to be certain I was 100% satisfied with my nails before I left & I definitely was. Anything that she wasnt happy with, she corrected, even tho I told her she didnt have to, because I knew she was ready to get home to her family (Halloween was the following day). She still stayed after hours to complete them, & said if I ever have anything go wrong with my nails in the future to give them a call & they would be more than happy to fix any issues.I will be going back for a pedicure soon & will hopefully, be able to update my review with 5 stars at that time. Thanks so much!

I have never been so unimpressed in my life. If I could post with of how bad my nails are right now I want. The lady was so ready to go home she didn’t give my nails the time of day. I wasted 50 dollars and when I asked to fix them she said if would cost extra. Never again will I go bad.

I am very happy with how my nails look however 6 fingers were bleeding when i left because when she was using the electric filer she ran it over my cuticle. Sometimes more than once on the same finger. See Uploaded pictures.

Another bad experience at a nail salon, unfortunately!I like to enjoy the process & relax, not having to give a lot of direction or feedback while getting my nails done, but it was impossible with the lady wearing glasses..She kept nipping/hurting my fingers with both the drill and the file, but unnecessarily & without good result, because what she did was wrong/ didnt work..All the nails were uneven in length AND in thickness (even after me pointing it out & her correcting them). The acrylic was a bead at the nail bed that wasnt smoothed out to the edges of the nails, nor towards my cuticles.Nevermind that the nails werent prepped properly with sanding through the previous gel to make it blend with what she was then putting on, the previous top coat (POLISH!) wasnt even fully removed or sanded down and the new acrylic was placed over top anyways!I was done saying anything at this point as I felt so uncomfortable, but you could see the messy stuff she left underneath the new nails so I was left with no other option except to paint over the nails. Its pretty simple to polish nails, thinking she cant mess this up, or so i thought..Final Product: They are AWFUL! The Polish is gummy from her fixing it so much (on her own, so shes aware it was looking bad), was see through in areas and doesnt even come to the edges of the nails, which is fine, because Im going to have to get them redone elsewhere and thats less work for the next technician (being positive here).They are not cleaned up well, with gel acrylic on the sides of my fingers & underneath, she didnt touch that at all!To the Owner: I should NOT have had to pay for the shotty work I received! Minimally, I should have been offered a discount. As a business owner myself, I feel that I should tell you.. keeping this person employed, without proper training, is going to cost you & are going to lose customers.If you are going to have someone who is less experienced doing nails you should offer her services at a discounted rate and the client should be notified in advance to be sure that it is acceptable for said customer.You should ALWAYS inspect the final work! BEFORE allowing a customer to leave.. Not everyone is going to be vocal about the issues, especially in front of the nail technician!, and may not want to cause a scene, BUT...It is hard for me to believe that you arent aware of any issues she has had in the past.The service I received at your shop was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!

So I went to get a full acrylic set and I asked for a pretty basic nail design. When filing my nails she cut my fingers up pretty good. Ive had my nails done plenty of other times at other places and they have NEVER been cut up as bad as they were this time. The nails were not put on very good because the next day my hair was already getting stuck underneath them when running my fingers through my hair. She did a crappy job painting my nails because there were spots that she had obviously missed. On the finger I got the design on, I wanted a couple of horizontal lines, the lines were no where near straight. The whole nail job was terrible. I believe the lady that did my nailss name was Mary, she was very nice but I will not spend almost $30 and an hour of my time to get a crappy set of acrylics with a bad paint job and cut up fingers. Unsatisfied and Not going back.

The lady was fast but did a sloppy job and made me bleed. Just went 3 days ago and it looks like Ive had them on a long while already. The more I looked the more noticeable the spots she missed were. 😭

Bad. Just Bad. Reeeaaally, Really Bad!This is the worst my nails have ever looked!The woman who did them (at the 2nd station on the left) apparently needs new glasses, because she was strugglin! She burnt my real nails and knicked up my cuticle area with the nail gun so many times that I couldnt even keep count! She left my nails lookin a HOT MESS! They are not even and the acrylic is lopsided, too thick on one side or the other, but not blended or even across the entire nail. She did not trim them back where they had lifted previously, on top or under, and began putting acrylic over both the dirt she left and the pink chemicals that she leaked under my nails. UNSANITARY! There was also old polish left from the last time I had them done that she didnt take time to take off. UNSANITARY! When she put the new polish on she kept manipulating it over and over again, so there were little bubbles all over my nails, and they never completely dried! The next day I could touch them and leave a fingerprint in the polish. You are supposed to do it fast and in as few strokes as possible, but not her.I so wanted to call to get them fixed, but knew it wouldnt do any good, because when I asked her to another lady overheard (manager possibly) and said that they cant file or clean under my nails, because, an get this... They will fall off. .?Way to insult my intelligence!I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and have never had an issue with them falling off due to someone filing the nails that have grown out underneath. Actually, what is a problem is because the nails are lifted, dirt and grime (and especially other yucky liquids) can get, or ARE NOW, in between the natural nails and fake nails....A BREADING GROUND FOR BACTERIA!They will also continue to lift once they start so, I now have to take them off, after only a few days... VERY DISSATISFIED I spent money on this crappy service!For only $2 more I could have had a full, fresh set, and thats what should have been recommended (as well as a different nail tech!). They should do a consultation, and advise you of the best service based on what your nails look like, and given they know (or knew) what the finished nails would be, based on what they are (or ARE NOT) willing to do.Disappointed with this place.Going to stick with my salon in Waxhaw as I have had no luck with any that Ive found in Monroe, just happened to be in the area 💁

The only reason Im giving a start is because I have no other choice.This was the worst experience I have ever had. Ive been getting my nails done for 12 years.I asked for simple new set, gel polish and a simple design.The last that dis my nails seemed like she didnt i understand anything I was saying and how i wanted my nails. She asked what I thought and I told her that my nails wasnt the same length that 2 was way shorter I mean way shorter then my others nails and it wasnt even Shaped like my other nails on top of the dirt that was still under my nails. I figure they would clean my nails like every other salon does. I asked to speak to manager which that was a mistake cause she was no more helpful or polite. I get flipped off, caused at and then get threated with the cops being called when I didnt say or do anything to anyone in the salon., them taking pictures of my vehicle which they said they was taking pictures of the door really?? The owner said we justice random pictures of are door?? on top of threating pepper spray when me and this lady never spoke or was near each otherThe owner told me she would give me my money back but she would rip off my nails first. While all this was happing I was sitting at the front booth. Feeling like I was ganged up on by everyone in this salon. All because I was unhappy with nt nails and wanted them fixed.I spoke to the nail tech and the lady who did my nails. I never got ugly with them, nwvwe raised my voice, or do anything that would make them feel threaten or in danger. Everyone that worked at the salon was including there self Into something that they had no reason to..I have already filled a complaint on the business for how I was treated and the unprofessionalism.

I stopped coming to this salon because they dont expand their selections and they seem to stick to the boring looks. It is also a hit or miss experience every time I go. I wanted to try ombre and they did not do well, even after stating they could do it. Although they are very nice people, they need to work on bettering their skills with ombres, SNS, designs, crystals etc. It also seems they dont always do their best. The shaping is sometime off, the clean up around the nail has also been off sometimes and a couple other things. Ive decided to try elsewhere for a change because the sometimes-good-sometimes-not thing gets really old, really quickly.

Everyone that works there is friendly and gives great service. All are welcome!
