I was a walk in n didnt wait long when they were full. He took his time but also was quick. Did exactly what I was looking for.

I called when they were open to set up an appointment and was informed they were walk in only, so I went in. Very busy but only waited 30 minutes tops. Once seated the younger man doing my nails had to talk to one of the other nail techs to see if he could do what I wanted. An ombré with one nail just glitter, ballerina shape. I was informed they have a two color limit so sparkles wouldn’t be a choice. Ok no big deal. We start my nails. Yikes. The ombré is barely an ombré. Nail shape is not even. They’re thick and I asked for them to be thinned out. It took over an hour to do them and not even a full week later they are starting to lift at the cuticle because they are so thick. $50 for the full set. When I got out to my car, I realized they didn’t sanitize anything per covid standards. Only thing they did do was check temperatures.So now a week later, instead of just a fill in the next two weeks, I will be getting a full new set somewhere else.

It was super busy, but worth it and great pricing! Very happy with the services but do think the shaping couldve been a little better.. update just went again today and loved what I got done..

Had a 6pm pedi appointment today with my sister at the salon and I was the only one who was given a pedicure while my sister sat in the chair next to me watching. 45 mins into my session someone finally came over and said they would start her appointment. We were supposed to have this done together and they reassured when setting up the appointment this could he done. Gentleman who worked on my feet clipped my large toenail too short causing it to turn red and puffy. Polish looked messy. Charged full price. I will not be going here again and will not recommend. Do not recommend if you care about timelines and getting in when you have an appointment scheduled.

Expensive but very good! What do you expect for Waikiki Beach? If you can maneuver in between homeless people on the street I would recommend the salon.

I used to love this place, but in the last few times Ive gone there, Ive been highly disappointed. Lack of quality in their work, youll wait forever, even with an appointment, theyre very rude, and give awkward (leg slapping) massages with pedicures. I had all eyes on me with every one. 🙄 I most likely will not be coming back. Especially after the phone call I just had with one of the guys there.

I usually always come here to get my nails done but today was the last time I will step foot in here. I received a service that I did not like and when I asked to have them taken off and refunded I was told that no refunds were given. I explained that I’m not the type of person to complain. They usually charge 40-45 for a long full set at least the times I’ve gone that’s what I’ve paid. But today they charge me the same price for something so short.I also asked for a dark DARK burgundy close to black but not quite and this turned out red. They told me that the color on display are 2 years old and I have to wait 2 days for it to get darker? If I had a problem with the color that I need to contact the manufacturer. The lady was very rude and just laughed in my face that she would not give me a refund. I then told her that I would just call my bank since refused and told okay well I’ll call my boss and threw the 5$ at me.This isn’t my first visit they are always so nice and very good with the job today was very rude and unprofessional and I will never come back. Make sure to pick a good color because apparently it might not be the same

I had an appointment at 11:00 a.m.!!!! To get my nails done and pedicure for my wedding day. Told them this was for my wedding when I made the appointment a month ago. I am still sitting here its 11:48 p.m. and no one has even looked my way! They do good work but is it really worth an 8 hour day!!!?? Dont bother to make an appointment!!!

Called ahead of time asked if they did GEL EXTENSIONS I was told yes... I made an appointment a week ahead for 2 full sets for my friend and I. We get there I sit for 20 mins after appointment time and other sits for anotger 45 min before getting a chair. I sat they did acrylics not GEL like I asked for, took OVER an hour and a half. My friend was still sitting for over 45 minutes after I was done. It was over 2.5 when we had an appointment. Nails were lumpy not smooth at all. They didnt even stay on for 7 days after I paid $45. I wont be going back I went there doing errands and made the appointment when I knew we were out there. Gotta be better places in Monroe!

The acrylic nails are amazing! My nails grow very slow and my set lasted me about a month with no lifting. Highly recommend!!

If I could give this salon a -5 star rating I would. This is the most god awful nail salon in history of nail salons. They are slow, unprofessional, rude, and did I mention slow???? It does not take an hour and 15 min to massage somebody’s feet. I am blown away at the terrible customer service from ALL employees. I have no idea how they stay in business.

I got a full set and I am so embarrassed by how bad they look I’m am going somewhere else a week later. The guy that did my nails was distracted and kept stopping to run the register. They are so uneven in shape and length. My polish which is gel is bumpy and thick and has bubbles in them. I’ve only had them for a week and they look like I’ve had them for 3-4 weeks. He also forgot the top coat on one of my pinky nails and it is now matte and has a blue tint for some reason. My pedicure on the other hand was great. It was a different guy and He took his time and did a very good job.

My nails are amazing! I’ve gotten my nails done a lot, and this was the best experience I’ve had.❤️I went in for a pedicure and it was an amazing experience! Then I went to get a full set of a pink ombré the next day and they turned out amazing! I recommend this place! Very nice people, I will be returning

I highly recommend Solaria Nails in Monroe Michigan! They keep everyone safe... requiring masks, temperature checks and hand washing / sanitizer. My Pedicure/Manicure appointment ran about 20 minutes late but, I am so pleased with my results that I cant complain about that part of my visit. My hands and feet look and feel great! Ill be back!! 💅🦶👍

Very upset I got a full set and completely unhappy told the lady the entire time she was doing my set that I didn’t like them they looked really bad.. ignored my complaint they are not even not clean work didn’t fix them and basically shoved me out the door very poor quality also not taking proper precautions not sanitizing equipment after use not wiping down stations

Pedicure felt great. Tried a new color - black. Love it! Wait was an hour even with my appointment. Some lovely women were pampering themselves for a wedding and who can get upset with that? Not me! I relaxed and enjoyed my massage chair and the salon music!

John did my nails and he did great! Only thing I didn’t like is when they said they have to use the nail drill because when I was in cosmetology they said the nail drill can never be sanitized completely and can transmit blood diseases. My nails looks great though. I just wish nail salons would stop using the nail drills.

My daughter and I got our feet and hands done today! Great service! Clean environment. My daughter showed a pic of a very complicated nail design and they were able to execute it to perfection!

I started going here after nail salons reopened from the pandemic as the place I use to go to did not reopen. I went here 2 times, once for a full set and pedicure and once for a balance/fill in. Both times after getting my nails done here I had a nail fly off for no good reason after a couple weeks due to so much lifting. After the second time it happened I looked at my natural nail and could see that my fingernail had turned green from a nail fungus. I then removed the rest of acrylics which exposed green nail fungus on two more of my nails, so three of them all together. Ive never had lifting be such a problem and I know the green nail fungus is from them not trimming away the lifting and water getting trapped under the acrylic. Now I cant even get my nails done or paint them, as that will only make the situation worse. Im stuck with green fingernails until it goes away.

While the employees may not be the warm and fuzzy type, they are polite and friendly. They try to fit you in if your a walk in. Go with patience and youll be pleased with the results. One of the few places left, that i know of, that still does the original pink and whites. If your not happy just let them know....

Will not go back. Its a little dingy, but I got a full set of acrylics a couple weeks ago that I would give a 7 out of 10. They were maybe 10 mins late for my appointment, no biggie. Was worth a 2nd try I thought. When I went back for my fill, I made an appointment & arrived early. After sitting there for over an hour & no one speaking to me, I had to leave. Im going to try World Nail in Lambertville that a coworker recommemded. They have better hours too. The whole experience makes me miss living in Ann Arbor.

Ive been there 3 times and the first time i was there they were nice and gentle on my nails. the second time i was there i wanted long nails and they made them short which i was not happy. the third time i was there a wart should up on my finger a week after. i think they need to wipe the materials down after every person!

Best nail salon! Tom is my favorite! Always a bit of a wait but the service is so good! I always get compliments on my nails after getting them done here! Never had a bad manicure here! Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

We came here and spent almost 3 hours. I asked for a certain design I showed him a picture and said he could do it. Then he jus paints my nails all black. On top of they wasn’t even dry when I left. And the finger nail polish just peels off on its own. I personally will never go here again. And the guy who did my nails was rude when I told him I didn’t like my nails. Like they’re on me not you.

Google needs half stars because I dont even want to rate this place a whole star. Went in for a pedicure and to get my nails painted, and lets just say that Im extremely unsatisfied. Firstly, my nails are destroyed from the grit of file they used to file the length. Second, there are smudges all in the nail polish and there are bubbles in the top coat . Also, there are parts of my nail thats not even covered in polish. Im so furious that 5 minutes after I got home, I took the polish off and am redoing them myself. So $50 down the drain plus another $15 from nail polish that I had to buy at Sallys to do my own. Im not a professional but I have to say that I can do a bettet job myself. I should have just stuck with me doing them. This will not happen again. Im so mad! NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

They cut six of my fingers and just told me that it was dry skin that’s why they were like that. I knew it wasn’t dry skin because the guy who did my nails was going super fast and pushing really hard on my nail I have six cuts on my fingers and they said “We can’t do anything unless it gets infected”They are rude when u confront them about something they did wrong.I wouldn’t go and I’m not going back ever they lost my business

My sister waited over an hour and a half for a pedicure. People came in and got their stuff done right then and there, no appointment at all, yet we waited for over an HOUR and nobody said a single thing to us. Not even an apology for the wait. We ended up leaving after two girls who came in at the same exact time as us (we held the door for them lol) had their pedicures done and over with within the hour.Save your time, and money, and go somewhere else. 👌

Nails are always crooked, theyre slow, if they do a design its way off and they can only do simple lines (those arent straight). They always cut your finger open with the tools. Only the women there take into consideration how it feels when your nails are being done.

Excellent pedicure! She took her time and I felt like a spoiled queen for over an hour. Also had a gel manicure. The attention to detail was unmatched by any salon Ive been to across the US. My job allows me to travel the US, and I get a gel manicure every two weeks no matter where I am. This salon ties for the very best Ive visited. Their attention to detail is unmatched. They are VERY BUSY and an appointment is highly recommended if you cannot be waiting in the short line outside when they open.

Appointment or no apointment it takes more than an hour to get in. Poor quality nails left marks when they rebalanced my French acrylics. First appointment was a 3 hour wait the second time a 2 hour since I figured I’d give it another chance and when I tried the third time just to get my nails taken off it took them an hour to remove the gel because they didn’t get back to check on me. When I left there was gel glue all over my entire palms even after washing with soap 2 times thoroughly they didn’t do anything about it.

No customer service what so ever!! The person doing my nails kept stopping to look at their phone. My nails were not the same length or shape.

Today was my second visit, I didnt catch the guy who did my pedicure,but he was great. First visit,David did my pedi.These two gentlemen were very easy on my feet,as I have neuropathy in my feet from diabetes and any touch is painful.They made my two visits very pleasing. I will always recommend and of course be back!

Save yourself the disappointment and go to Modern Nails right across the street. Went there today for a fill and left with amazing nails. They’re very pleasant and paid attention to making sure your nail was the shape you asked for.

Called in to make an appointment, they said that’s fine, I called in right after and asked if there was an earlier time they said yes we could do earlier. I have an hour long lunch and drove there at the earlier time they said was “available” just to sit there for 45 minutes waste my entire time I had available to be told sorry this person will be first I still had you down for the later time. It would have been fine if the person looked at their schedule and said sorry we will be a bit busy at that time. Instead you lost a customer and many referrals I’ve suggested to go there as well. Maybe if you don’t understand the concept of taking appointments then you shouldn’t have them. Awful customer service. Steer clear unless you want to waste your time just to be treated as though you’re not a valued customer.

No worth the wait! Do not make an appointment here!!! Every time I have made an appointment to come here because it is very busy; however I still wait an hour or more. Two times I have waited and left just to go down the road to another very nice salon. I decided to give this place a try one more time and NEVER again. I spoke with another customer (while we both were waiting) and she made three seperate appointments the same day because each time she showed up for her appointment there was at least an hour wait for each appointment she made. I understand places can be busy, but do not allow appointments if you can not commit to the designated time! It is bad business. Then we asked about our appointment time the employees were extremely rude. I have had two pedicures here and they were terrible. If you have things to do within your day, do not even consider this place!

Disappointed at the length of time it took even though I had an appointment scheduled. Also, I called ahead to ask if they did nail art and I was told yes they do. When my turn finally came, I showed the tech a VERY simple design and they rolled their eyes at me and said no, we cant do that. No attempt to give me an alternative that they could do, just an eye roll and a no.

I had been warned not to come here and I should have listened.... The staff wasnt friendly, the color swatches for the Shellacs dont match what color that is actually in the bottle, and the lady who did my nails clipped my skin with the cuticle cutter multiple times so there is raw parts of skin that hurt pretty bad, and some are bleeding. This was definitely not worth the $25....

They cut me twice, i got a acrylic set they did half of my nail and didnt give me what i asked for, very over priced and takes forever to get in the place.

Its a good place to go BUT today seem a little off. I practice the sit back, shut up AND listen. When you see someone walk in and one of the workers say something to another worker amd there having a nice long laugh..it seems as though it was said about that person. It may not of been. Only they will know. I just saw the look on her face. I truly dont feel its right that they only speak in there language and cant speak english OR thats what they want you to think. Just my opinion.

Rude!! The guy John is so rude! He pulls your arm, charges more money for a chipped nail that he could have fixed, so he just took it completely off so I had to pay for a new one! I decided to try it again.. of course I got him again and he told me I needed anew set! This was only my 4 th fill with this set! Get rid of this guy and maybe I would consider going back !

Absolutely horrible, I got my nails done here last weekend and one broke so I went to get it fixed. The guy completely did the wrong shape on the new nail and when I asked if they could shape the other nails to match the new one they said yes. After 5 minutes I was told to wash my hands and then he tried to start painting my nails, none of the other nails even matched the shape of the new one still.

My girlfriend and I and her friends went to get a pedicure and her friend and her sat in the chair at the same time and her friend started 25 minutes before her and my girlfriend was fine 10 minutes before her with an awful job done. Heels still hard, didnt rub her feet or legs. She complained. They said you pay or we call cops. Didnt even try to help her or discount it or anything. Awful experience

First time being there and i am incredibly impressed i had to wait thirty/forty minutes but i walked in pretty late at night and they were busy. Kacie or Gracie (Im hard of hearing) did my nails and she was so sweet, gentle and curtious. She did a BOMB job on my nails she made them an almond shape (flawlessly) and painted them perfectly. So happy considereding i was nervous about trying somewhere new. 😁💅🏻

Although I enjoy the pedicures, it is no longer worth the frustration of wait times. Even when I scheduled an appointment I waited for over an hour past the appointment time. I have written my name in on two separate occasions and they have taken people after me as I stood waiting! Unacceptable. None of my friends will get pedis with me at this place because of this exact reason. I hung in as long as I could, but I am no longer going to be a patron of this business. Very rude.

Stay away from this place. I was going there for months and end up with a toe nail fungus. What a process of doctors appointments, blood work, medication, copays. All that and no guarantees that my nail will heal.
